Loved the open concept and clean kitchen style set up. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. All cooking materials were provided, and you can byob of your own favorite drinks, wine, whisky, sparkling... they do have water here, also can provide ice bucket to chill your drinks. The cooking process was gradual, step by step and fun. Very interactive and the end results were delicious. They have a large variety of classes for customers of all ages and needs. Price is reasonable. Convenient location with no issues to find parking. We loved this educational yet entertaining experience very much. Highly recommend for any occasions. Chef Pat was equally fantastic, sharing super helpful tips and fun ways to switch up meals. And Courtney, who runs the shop, is one of the sweetest, most engaging people you'll ever meet. Honestly, I almost hate writing this review because I know more people will sign up and take the spots... but they absolutely deserve the praise. I'll definitely be a regular from now on. Time to start unlearning Grandma's tricks (love you, Grandma ).

My husband and I took the Southern Brunch class at Baltimore Chef Shop Sunday and had such a great…read moretime. We made breakfast sausage, buttermilk biscuits, chicken fried steak, country cream gravy, crispy hash browns, sunny side up eggs, fruit salad, and Texas sheet cake and somehow it all came together into an incredibly delicious meal. Chef Ted was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the class. At one point I was deep in ADHD overwhelm trying to keep up with the Texas sheet cake while everyone else seemed miles ahead, but Chef Ted and Madison (KA) stepped in, got me across the finish line and the cake turned out great!!!! The class was instructional and a little fast-paced in the best way. The two hours flew by!! It felt busy but never stressful, and sitting down to eat what we made together was the perfect payoff. Two thumbs (or forks?) way way up. Definitely recommend and would absolutely do another class!! We're already talking with friends about booking a private group night.

My crepe class with David was packed with fun! The structure of the crepe class was making a…read morevariety of crepe fillings, sweet and savory batters, cooking the crepes, and then eating everything you made as a group. Within the class there were about a dozen things to make. You are divided into 2 tables, with each table making everything. Personally, you make one or 2 things. I was assigned the savory crepe batter and the spinach filling. Then everyone took turns cooking a crepe or 2. In all the class was a blast! There were some minimal drawbacks. To start, I previously posted about them not honoring gift cards. I quickly removed that post and they corrected the problem. I am very satisfied with how that was handled after the fact, but the old gift card was not easy to use without working with the owner. I also had a few times in the class where I could not find items like spoons or ingredients easily. The class had a lead instructor and then a kitchen assistant. It took some getting used to and understanding how the place worked. I almost feel more prepared if I were to sign up for a class again. First hour was not the most intuitive. I recommend these cooking classes. It was fun and a good date morning with my husband.

It was great having a wide variety to pick from! The owner was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! She even called one of the artists to answer my daughter's question about the exact content in the artisanal wax due to allergies. The paintings and home decor items were unique and representative of the charming community. There were multiple rooms and one even showcased some beautiful paintings. We made several purchases and will definitely visit next time we are in the area!

I was in…read moreStevensville on a Sunday afternoon, just browing some of the local shops and enjoying a lazy Sunday, saw the sign for this place proclaiming that they had a wide variety of artists, so I thought I'd check it out. Once inside, instead of exciting local art, I found a lot of jewelry, soaps, and a LOT of photgraphs. That was about it. They had a sign in the back of the store indicating that there was more art that way, but all I found was more soaps. Nothing really jumped out at me to say "you MUST take me home!" To top it off, the proprietor kept following me around, not-so-discreetly acting like he was reviewing the books, straightening a display, or some other mundane task, but I really got the feeling that he was suffocating me, perhaps thinking I was going to steal something. When I decided to leave the store, another man (who I assume was the proprietor's friend) said to me, "You can't leave, you need to buy something." Well....yes, I can leave, and no, I don't need to buy anything.
