The restaurant at 15th and Oklahoma has the most charming and welcoming people. We love Malaysian food and seek it. We came here to try this place and are pleased. It smells great and is clean. Watching the roti process is mesmerizing. We likely over ordered out of anticipation from how long we've had to wait to find another Malaysian restaurant. The roti stuffed with onion and spices and chicken with the curry sauce was delicious! Amazing flavors, not too spicy, so tasty! The spicy squid dish was warm and the flavor went all across the palate. Asked my date and heard "The noodles are so good!!" Please give this place a try.

Congratulations on your grand opening, becoming a restaurant at 3101S 15th Place, Milwaukee 53215. Authentic Malaysian, Indonesian and Burmese food! Place is clean! Food is awesome and fast. Pricepoint is reasonable.

I came back. They took my order incorrectly (and there was just me and one more person in line). I had ordered chicken fried rice got beef and chicken fried rice instead. I love sunny side up eggs but these eggs were quite raw, I had to throw them out. Fried rice did NOT taste anything like what we had the first. And to make it worse it was very spicy. I am so so disappointed. I was really looking forward to the food and our dinner went half to waste.

Saffron remains one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in MKE I love so many things about it. The ambiance is spot on, moody, yet energetic. Their cocktails are always ahhhmazing. Each dish that comes out is somehow better than the last, there's not one thing on the menu that disappoints. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, offering great recommendations when we are choosing between items. It's a great spot to go with a larger group so you can try lots of dishes! It's not impossible to get a reservation which I appreciate, but it's always booked/lively. The food presentation only enhances the experience, but the flavors and textures are really what make this menu shine. I cannot wait to go back in July with a group of friends (who have never been!) and try the whole menu! Bravo, Saffron, keep up the great work

I love Indian food - especially northern Indian. Bombay Sweets is now at the top of my list because…read morethe food is AMAZING and they have a great variety of Indian foods. The atmosphere and staff were also great! For the food - everything we tried was excellent: kachori, bhel poori, mixed veg utappam, thali platter with vegetable korma and paneer burji. Most were recommended by the person who took our order (we asked her opinion on things repeatedly and she was so kind and thoughtful!). Our favorite was the kachori. The lentil filling was delicious and the fried pastry shell was TO DIE FOR. The tamarind chutney was the best tamarind chutney I've ever had. The utappam was also great! It came with a coconut chutney that became my favorite chutney ever! And my partner loved the sambhar. If we had to do it over again, we would have ordered the onion utappam because the cooked bell peppers in the mixed veg uttapam weren't our fave - but it didn't take away from the deliciousness of the crispy, flavorful utappam. I really liked the bhel poori too! When I looked at it, I thought it would be dry and lack flavor ... but I was definitely wrong about that! It was sweet and savory not at all dry. We did add the raita sauce from the thali platter on the top of the bhel poori for a little extra sauce / flavor and were pleased with the addition. The thali platter was great because we got to pick whichever two curries we wanted. As we had for most of our food choices, we asked the lovely lady who worked there about her recommendations. She was spot on with her recommendations of vegetable korma and paneer burji. Both were excellent. I also got the chai tea - it was warm and yummy. My partner got the Indian lemonade. He liked it a lot, but it wasn't my fave. It was worth trying though. And finally, the desserts. The thali platter came with a gulab jamun - and it was the best one my partner and I ever had! Then after finishing our meal, we went to check out the other desserts. We had no idea what to get so the same lady who helped us figure out what to order for dinner also helped us with the desserts. She even let us sample a lot of them! We got a lot of different things and all had great flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. I expected the bill to be quite high because we ordered so much. But it was just over $50 which seemed very reasonable to me. I'd recommend this place to anyone! So go there ... and thank me later :)
