Texture felt old and taste was not really like shawarma you'd get at a solid donair place. If you're looking for a well-pulled and well-roasted coffee, the latte is a good way of sampling what they have to offer. When it came to atmosphere and service, it totally complemented the coffee. The place is modern and clean, with a very brightly designed space -- lots of white with light wood and brass accents -- and the service, in typical YYJ style, was eager and helpful and generally nice. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. They did technically get my drink name wrong as well, though lemon should've made my drink more sour, not sweet. I couldn't taste any tea flavor at all--not sure if I buy the whole "fresh fruit juice used" on their website, because I've had grapefruit juice before, and it should not taste artificial fruit syrup sweetner. The pearls themselves were on the soft side, but I didn't have too many qualms with that. I have had Truedan in San Francisco and have only had good drinks with them, so I figured that given that they're a chain, they would be consistent, but this visit was unfortunately disappointing.
