What used to be a local, family-friendly restaurant became a bit more upscale and changed locations a few years back. They still have decent thin-crust pizza but it's not amazing and at $24 for a small margerita, not a bargain either. Main dishes that aren't pizza are more in the $45-$50 range. Terrible service! A party of four, we had a 6 o'clock reservation. At 6:50 pm, we were asked to leave! The server told us they had made a mistake and taken a reservation for 7 pm for our specific table! Just like that, go away! No apology. When we asked for the owner, she endorsed it and even accused us of insulting her! BTW, not a question of language, we were speaking Québecois French. read more

Some say they have the best pizza in the world, I'd say that's pretty close. Thin crust european style pizzas, perfectly funky, adorably seasoned and just plain fantastic! They don't serve the traditional all dressed, although they are friendly enough to accommodate, but if you have an open mind, you might just discover something here. We had a duck confit pizza with blueberries, goat cheese, nuts and creamy mustard, a real delight. They also serve a real good feta pizza, a gorgeous margarita, along with kick-ass Carbonara pasta. All fresh ingredients, as local as possible, you can actually taste the love in everything they make! Service is quick and friendly, atmosphere is casual and even if the place gets hot, loud and packed, you feel like you're right in the middle of what's going on in Sutton with a nice mix of tourists and locals. But don't bring a date here and expect quiet and romantic, it's just not the spot for that! The restaurant is owned by a friendly couple, both are there every night, working the kitchen and floor. Do reserve, for this place is completely booked almost every night. Sutton is a small village and good restaurants are a rare thing. read more

Very good restaurant, everything we had was delicious -- including several tasty vegetarian options. The desserts were truly excellent, not to be missed! I had the linguine portobello, which was great. The linguine romanoff was also very good and I am sure could be ordered vegetarian since the prosciutto just comes on top. For dessert, the chocolate raspberry tart and the blueberry custard tart were amazing (and came with berries and the best whipped cream I have ever had). My only qualm would be the slower than average service and perhaps it could have been slightly warmer inside but if you have the time I definitely recommend stopping by Tartinizza. Went a second time and should say that it was again great, though also again still slow. Also, companions of mine who are partial to eating such things have mentioned that the salads are quite excellent. read more

Yummmmmmyyy pizzas!!! My favourite is the smoked salmon and cream cheese pizza, it is simply fantastic. All their pizzas are thin crust so you can eat a whole one all to yourself :) Their pad Thai is definitely something to try out and is also quite yummy if you want something different. They change some of their pizzas every week so you can have a different yummy kind each time you go! Their sangria is absolutely amazing with strawberries and blueberries!! Our first time in Sutton and with friends and kids in tow. We were given a nice "boothesque" spot in the back which was perfect for our mix of diners (no one wants to sit next to that many kids age 5-12...) and they even tried to help us out by putting the kids at one table (they put plastic kids cups there but our kids beat us to the tables). We had a couple of appetizers (smoked salmon and the portobello mushroom cap with goat cheese) and they were both excellent. The wine list is simple and reasonably priced (especially compared to Toronto prices...) with an acceptable number of regions and varieties (oenophiles need not apply - there is a SAQ down the street for you). The staff didn't bat an eye when the kids went "completely off menu" and that was appreciated (although painful for me). My main (sous bois) was excellent and I heard many good things from the other diners regarding their pizzas. I can recommend it as a family friendly place and it is definitely a good idea to make a reservation. Appreciate it for what it is and enjoy the atmosphere and the food and the service. On future trips I would eat here again. read more

If you're looking for a wonderful thin-crusted pizza with ingredients as far fetched as escargots, local sausages, vegetables, look no further. Tartinizza was a wonderful place for us to cap off our short-but-sweet visit to Sutton. The atmosphere is very laid back and even though we could not get a seat on the patio, the inside is a great place to hang out. Service was wonderful, our local red IPA was tasty and I cannot imagine a better evening for the price. The pizzas are truly gourmet ... try their Romanoff- really excellent I'm not a pizza fan - so I stick to their pasta menu - but my family love their pizza - mostly thin crust and a great selection. Service is normally very very good, they hire great people who know what they are doing. Reserve for tables of more than 4 - great atmosphere, family friendly - and can get loud if a large table is getting the VIP treatment :) Also can take food out - desserts are wonderful and price pretty good for the great quality of food. Arrive there at 9 o'clock and was told the restaurant was closed. We went across the street had a very lovely restaurant. Came back out they were still in the restaurant with clientele. I'm guessing they didn't care for the fact we were speaking English. Not at all friendly. This was the second experience last time we were there we were told they were out of food. Tasty, though really thin crust. Many choices for toppings. Tried linguini portobello and the duck as well, both quite good. Good variety of greens in the salad. Staff was friendly and on-tap beer was a delight. read more

There are obviously very few pizza options in this picturesque little Quebec ski down. These guys do a great job on their za. Their pizzas are all thing crust if that's a factor for you. Fantastic food at very reasonable prices and friendly staff. read more
