I had a real relaxing experience firing my 9 mm Stoeger at their firing range. That also helps demonstrate the progress that my martial arts training has made in me emptying my mind and not being stiff. Waste of time going here. Cant shoot 223 unless its there ammo at double the normal price. Tommy Gunn should be ashamed asking those crazy prices for ammo. I just drove to TSS in avondale and had a great experience. Used my ammo for the 223, bought 4 boxes of various calipers, 357, 44, 45acp and tried a couple pistols i hadnt shot in since last year. Point is targetmaster missed out on a range fee, 4 boxes of ammo and my future business all because of a stupid rule of buying there ammo. I did price the 223 at targetmaster and its over double the price i normally pay... greed doesnt make for good business and losing any business, especially an avid shooter like my self is just plain dumb.. The staff also didnt seem to care much after i complained about that rule and the prices of the 223,,,,,,, and the ammo i priced are reloads,, reloads for the double the price of brand neW. A little honesty and integrity is rare these days and none at target master thats for sure.! read more

This is a good store. The range is better than many, always staffed, and the safety officers keep an eye on everything. The prices are competitive and it's a good place for FFL transfers. I see reviews about staff being gruff and maybe that's the case but these are guns, not kittens, and the store is right on the state line, so a bit of suspicion and vigilance are reasonable and reassuring. I have been there enough times that the staff recognize me and that changes things, sure. Yes, if you go there at a high-demand time, it can be a bit chaotic. If you want quiet, if you need extra time, then go on a mid-week night. Coming to a gun store on a Saturday morning is like going to a bar on a Friday night, just trying to catch someone's eye, do what you need to do, make way for someone else. I have seen some comments about racial stuff here. I'm a middle-aged white guy so fair enough, I wouldn't catch it, but I was at TargetMaster about a month ago and there was a bachelorette party, black women who had just left work, and the staff were friendly and informative and respectful professional with the group. read more

This store is a reminder that unfortunately, some businesses can treat you like dog dirt and somehow still remain open. FIRST- there is no line organization. I've waited for as long as 45 minutes for help, while they wait on other people who just came in the store. SECOND- they refuse to serve you if they don't like the way you are dressed, yet, their male staff wears tee shirts, scruffy beards, and ear rings- they basically look like rest stop janitors. THIRD- if you're black, don't expect them to give you the same prices and service they give whites. I'm serious. I'm white and they actually have me better prices on items than were on the price tag, and told me that they just mark items up to keep blacks from asking about them. FOURTH- their prices aren't that good to begin with. FIFTH- go to Tanners instead. Way better selection, way better prices, way better staff! read more

Hello, I have been to Target Master several times and was always treated well. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The store can get busy at times and the employees can get tired and stressed out. They can never be entirely sure who walked into their store and must be cautious due to the nature of the merchandise. What a bunch of unfriendly people. Never have I ever felt so unwelcome. I was checking out a $1000+ gun in the case and some guy comes over says nothing to me and rings up what I had in my hand before I had the chance to ask to check it out. I paid and left. I wont be back. I'll stick to Tanners in Jamison, PA for my gun purchases they are friendly and know how to make people feel comfortable in their shop. Also the price gouging going on at this place ridiculous. For a S&W EZ they were charging $70 more than Tanners does. I don't know how they stay in business being so unfriendly to people. then again maybe it's because I am a woman all the other customers were men. either way this place is no bueno read more

I haven't been to Targetmaster for a while, but intend to go back very soon. I've been to various shooting ranges, but I'll make the 40 minute commute to Targetmaster because they run the most professional shop I've ever visited. I feel safer knowing that the Rangemasters are strict and keep it safe at all times. I've never known them to do anything the least bit unethical; quite the opposite. No, they aren't overly friendly, but when discussing firearms, I prefer them being serious with me. I recommend that anyone visit this place and decide for themselves if it fits their needs. read more

Thanks for the great service. Great group of guys (Zack, Joe & Joseph). Dropped off a Kahr K9 Elite for some front night sights on Friday night. They called me and had it done the next day. Great clean work accurately done. They also have a great selection of guns for the new or accomplished shooter.
