Great selection and layout I used to visit this location a lot but I live further now and have not visited in awhile. I loved the new layout. The store is bright and spacious. Great selection of items from kids toys to home items. They even have a great food selection. There prices still seem higher than some other big box stores but you are still able to find some good deals. There was one register to have a person ring you out the rest is self serve. This Target is a convenient store in a good area. We were able to go in get what we needed and check out. The employees wore mask. When I went to take the grocery cart back a young man told me, I'll take that. There was a zone were they cleaned the shopping cart before it's placed back with the other clean and ready carts. read more

Used to love the target, but I can't manage to get rid of a gift card I have because anytime I return any item from an order that I used the gift card and my credit card on I keep getting credit only on the gift card. I've not been to another retailer that has this practice. The returns are always refunded to the credit card to limit of the amount paid on that and then the remainder of the charge is on the gift card. Obviously they are running this scam in hopes of customers losing their credit cards. When I questioned the people at the counter, they just stared at me with a clueless look - completely unable to explain why this would be. They didn't used to do this, but it must be their way to make some extra cash off of hardworking people. read more

Ordered drive up pick up at 4:15pm which states to take two hours or less to fulfill. Four hours later I called to ask when it'll be ready and to speak to a manager when I didn't get an answer. Associate puts me on 'hold' and I can hear him ask another associate if he should disguise his voice and pretend to be a manager! My order wasn't ready until 9:45; 15 minutes before closing time not leaving me any time to pick it up. Two items were missing from my order. I received one lone orange instead of a bag of oranges that I ordered. Needless to say, I won't be using this feature for awhile. read more

Target is one of my favorites. This one is located pretty close to the mall so I feel that it is more crowded due to the high traffic. I stopped in to get some Christmas shopping done. Due to the mask mandate, I am not a fan of customers drinking their Starbucks while shopping. My mom felt uncomfortable when she was looking at something and someone not wearing a mask was hovering behind her and not giving her space. We were able to find everything on our shopping list. So, I love Target. Who doesn't? The only concern I have for this Target is the parking lot. No matter when you go, it's always insane. So many people walking around and never do they pay attention. This isn't Targets fault, but that's honestly my only dislike about it. The store employees are friendly and always around. Target vs. Walmart I like Target better than Walmart, anyway. I feel they may be a little pricier, but I feel better about my purchases and overall shopping experience. I think I go to both these places equally, Walmart more to get food, but neither too much. Target always has the latest movies in stock, compared to Walmart always seems to be picked through by the time I get to them. Target has better selection of clothing, by clothing I mean wide beaters, white t's, socks and boxer briefs(not boxers). Looking for furniture, they always have a better brand name selection and better quality. Walmart seems as if 70% of their furniture stock is stuff picked up along the highway and boxed up. In my experience anyways. Targets seasonal selection, such as flip flops in Summer, towels, bathing suits. Winters boots, hats, socks, hoodies, all better than Walmart. Even with Walmart having layaway back, I'll still be at Target the majority of the time. read more

I can't believe how unhelpful the employees are at the Strongsville Target. Today, I was there from 10:30 am until 11:15. All kinds of huge carts blocking aisles, and employees standing around chatting. Then, when I go to checkout, ONE REGISTER is open. Management waited until it was 6 customers deep to open one more register. Long lines at self checkout as well. read more

We were looking for lunches for this week. They were nearly out of sandwiches, but we did find some other stuff to get us by. The store was otherwise well-stocked and organized. Target is Target, nothing more or less I suppose. They have basically all that you could need from clothes to food and even stretching to some areas like electronics and housewares. I really didn't expect this location to be any different then the ones I normally visit where I live. Unusually, I saw plenty of empty shelves throughout all of the general housewares and electronic areas, mostly in the compact discs. I'm not sure if this is normal considering I arrived at around ten in the morning but It seemed pretty sparse in contrast to the amount of customers in the store. However, the staff here were very friendly and offered friendly smiles even when they were busy stocking merchandise. As such, for those in the Strongsville area, this is a great place to shop at when you just need a little of everything. It's a step above the traditional Wal-Mart and is at least guaranteed to make you leave with something in hand...they even have a Pizza Hut near the entrance! read more

I love Target, but I have purchased so many expired food items from this particular target. In the past 2 months, I've had to return three separate times to return food that is expired. One item was lunch meat that was purchased 12 days past the expiration date. Customer service desk doesn't seem too concerned when I've brought it to their attention. Clean and good selection, never any bad lines. Just a quick and easy grocery trip for me without any headaches. I can't stand Heinens in the shopping center, which is the other option for groceries. This Target is definitely run well and has a large grocery department. The Starbucks and Pizza Hut are average at best but that is to be expected. This target really disappointed me in how it handles it's business. They put out an item before its release date and I had it off the shelf. When I went to check out, they scanned it and it said it wasn't available yet. The manager came and didn't even give us the option of presale when we asked because that was their mistake and we should have been allowed to purchase. Basically took it out of our hands without a second thought or care. Totally unprofessional and disgusting way to handle business. Never usually take the time to write reviews, but I felt like they really deserved this one. read more

Being the closest Target, I thought I would give it one more try, but I have had it with this store. Tonight, I go in and try to purchase 4 cases of soda, because the sale is 4 for 12. I go to the register and they are not ringing up. The nice register employee calls for a manager, Bonnie, who says that the 7 up and Dr Pepper are in a different sale than the Pepsi, and then ask me if I would like to go get a different kind. So I go back to the other side of the store and i look at the sign again. It clearly states that they are all in the same sale. I take the sign to her to show her and she says that Cherry flavor is not included. So now she is just showing that she does not even know the sales that are going in the store. The Cherry Pepsi rang up fine, so why not the 7up? It just says Pepsi on the sign, not all the flavors, because its all them. I ask if she could manually change the price. She says "Not tonight, I can't and are you going to put my sign back?" Really?! You are just going to be rude! What happened to cusomer service? I have literally never had a good experience in this store. I tell her this and tell her that we stop shopping here because of the countless problems. She says, "Thats fine, shop at a different store." What kind of managers are running this store! Its sad that Parma has a better Target than Strongsville! read more

I like this Target, but the food selection isn't very diverse. I know it's not really what they are known for, but other Targets and similar stores have a better variety of fresh foods (an organic banana or 2 wouldn't hurt). The clothing portion is also lacking. I feel as though by adding the food items it might be making other areas suffer. However, the employees here are amazing. They get 5 stars-even if the store only gets 4. They are always friendly and helpful. And the store is very clean and organized. If it weren't for the lack of products (compared to other Targets, etc...), I would've given it 5 stars! read more

For my 1 year old birthday her received the same gift twice which was a 3 in 1 little tikes basketball hoop, soccer and bowling toy. Parma location told me that they can look up my receipt I just need the register number and approximate time. My husband had no problem returning the item. Now I try to return a item with the same situation but at this target and I was told by a store associate they couldn't find the receipt even with all the information I gave them and that it didn't matter because they do not do returns. Bonnie Fisher who was the manager on shift was unapologetic once I called customer relations and they were able to email me the receipt that they some how couldn't find. She proceeded a conversation with "well mistakes happen". She watched as her store associate was rude and did not bat an eye to say that is not how you talk to or treat customers. read more

For some unknown reason, the city we live in does not carry these at any of the stores that I could find. They are busy stocking at really inconvenient times. Employees do not offer to move out of the way. I've had to leave my cart at the end of the aisle and reach over to grab something I needed. The employees don't even acknowledge the inconvenience. This has happened more than once. Last week I put as many of my groceries as I could on the conveyer belt and of course the person in front of me has problems with their card and cartwheel. This goes on for several minutes. The cashier does not even acknowledge the other guests in line and we have no idea how long it is going to take. The other lines are long and I am not sure if I'm going to pack up and go to a different line or wait it out. After 10 minutes..and the problem still isn't resolved and no acknowledgement from the cashier, I start putting my groceries back in the cart to move. The cashier sees this and still says nothing. I expected an "I'm sorry ma'am" or something. So there I go to stand in another long line. Customer service and stocking is never great here. The only reason I continue to shop here is because I get gift cards from Giant Eagle, which gives me fuel perks and 5% back on my credit card. Otherwise, I would not shop here. read more

I enjoy their organic foods and hope they will continue expanding in this area. I made a purchase at the Parma location and the following day finished up my shopping at Strongsville. While at Parma, the cashier had trouble using my cartwheel app. We figured it out, but in the interim, I forgot to use another electronic coupon on a purchase. When I went to Strongsville the next day, I was given the difference in cash. Quick and painless! The security breech could have happened to any store. I think the year security monitoring was a nice gesture and I will continue to support Target, especially at the Strongsville location. read more

Good store. Please get better or more caring employees. We were there 4-7-18 around 7:30pm. Store was average with people but only a couple of cashier lines open and starting to back up fast. A guy named Dave H. comes over and opens a register and starts checking out a guy who had just walked into the area instead of saying CAN I HELP THE NEXT PERSON IN LINE..... it pissed off several people and rightly so. I bought a car seat today, came home and looked online to get some tips for installing it. The car seat came up as on sale at Target for $35 cheaper. I called the store and the guy in customer service asked for my receipt number, he looked it up and said just bring in your receipt and we will credit you the difference. I drove up to the Strongsville OH location and the customer service guy (not the same employee I talked to) said mine isn't on sale, I had the lighter grey color and it was the darker color on sale. I explained to him how I gave the receipt number and the other guy said yes it was on sale. I made sure before I made the drive, I didn't want the hassle if this was an online sale only. Anyhow, the customer service man was so rude that I will never return. He snapped at me at said he isn't responsible for other employee mistakes. I told him I would never return and he couldn't care less. I have been shopping at Target since the 80's when I lived in California, and was very happy when they opened in Ohio. I have spent thousands of dollars at that store over the years, $5,000 this year alone. I will now only use Amazon Prime. read more
