Now despite 2 written requests to explain what's going on and no answer, now no one answers in service AND the line won't take recorded messages. This seemed so simple. Sofa delivered with a mid-shaped back cushion. I was told at delivery that a new piece would be ordered and replaced when it came in. I waited 9 months for the call that the replacement cushion arrived. But instead of replacing it, they took the sofa saying the repair would be done and sofa returned. That was 3 weeks ago. I've used the service email to request clarification. Twice. No response other than the auto message that my email was received. Today I called. No answer on the service line. Mailbox 'not taking messages. So, sofa bought and paid for. But I have no sofa and no answers. What good is a nice showroom if the service department is lousy, customers ignored and store shows no concern? Update! I had hope when, after publishing this review I got a call from Belfort. My hope was misplaced and speaks further to their failure. The call was to "arrange delivery" asap since repairs were (suddenly) complete. I asked what repairs were done to make sure we were on the same page before coming out here. Amazingly she returned to the phone to say her call was in error, repairs were NOT MADE and there would be no delivery. I asked what they HAD done in the weeks since picking up my sofa and she didn't know. No one was there who could tell me but I'd get a call first thing this morning. Here we are. Yet again with no response. The service department there is a mess.

The first item I was drawn to was a beautifully hand painted egg in excellent condition - for something like $13. I couldn't think of anyone it would have been a good gift for, but wish I did! It was gorgeous and definitely a piece someone would cherish. They had numerous such type items. My Mom found some fabrics and other items she loved so much she was willing to get them and schlep them all the way back to Hawaii in her luggage. She also enjoyed looking at all the jewelry in the cases and talking with the helpful volunteers. The only off note for me was while talking to one of the volunteers, they made it a point to let me know they didn't accept all donations. Twice. I almost laughed out loud in her face the second time. Don't assume because I'm in shorts and a T-shirt that I'm not aware of the niche the store is attempting to maintain, or that I don't have items to donate that they would make money off of. *But* they are volunteers and they were super nice to my Mom so they get a pass for it. I'll be bringing other friends who love this kind of shopping by in the future. Being the first store we visited made the others pale in comparison. Definitely a winner!

At the time of purchase, they sold me a 5-year protection plan for an additional $199.00. Recently, I experienced a technical issue and contacted the warranty company, Montage. That's when I discovered that although Campos Furniture charged me for the protection plan, they never actually activated it. As a result, I have no coverage at all. To make matters worse, their Dulles Mall location has closed, their phone number is disconnected, and they are not responding to emails. This is completely unacceptable and feels like fraud. They charged me for a service that apparently never existed. I am seriously considering filing a court claim to recover my money.

ITEM IN QUESTION: A hydraulic lift bed. One can access a storage compartment by lifting the mattress and slatted frame. WHAT HAPPENED: Shortly after purchase, the bed's support structure failed causing the mattress to collapse into the storage area at the foot of the bed. CAMPOS' RESPONSE: See attached photo. For the 2nd repair, Campos sent a handyman who was not provided with spare parts. Upon failing to straighten the center cross bar of the bed frame with a hammer, he resorted to salvaging disused lumber from a nearby construction zone. He then cut the wood to size and affixed to the cross bar in order to prop up/keep the mattress level. We are now almost one year post purchase, Campos is making it almost impossible to get ahold of representatives, and we've had a 3rd breakdown of the unit - likely as a result of the first two shoddy repairs. Both Campos and the Manufacturer/Distributor Elements International out of TX have given us the runaround in an attempt to run out the clock on the warranty. Both say a resolution is the responsibility of the other party.

After getting home, we realized that what we bought might not fit on our wall (we were half an inch off), so Gia FaceTimed me and measured everything after closing to find some wiggle room in the furniture, which was there! I absolutely love this sofa. None of the cushions have sagged or given in any way. I was worried at first because I have a cat that likes to lay in the middle of the back cushions but they always bounce back. It's so comfortable you could fall asleep on it night after night and prefer it over the bed! I love that they're friendly but not overly pushy on the sales floor, too. I like to be able to walk and think, not bombarded like you are at some other stores. Though Bassett is pricey, the quality is worth it. They do sales from time to time and that's when we bought. Very happy. Oh! And the ability to choose the fabric for the custom through pillows was a great touch. It made our couch really personalized.
