Their service is TERRIBLE. Well everyone is great except Rochelle. Oh my gosh don't even get me started with her Today my two boys went to return a gingerbread house for me because it's missing pieces and Rochelle "helped" them with their return ok so get this talk the people in front of my two boys Rochelle greeted them so sweetly and for my boys she said in a stern and rude voice how can I help u, and my boys just ignored it so my boys told them there were missing pieces and then she opened it saw some of it was built and said extremely rudely it's built. And then my son told her yea it's built because we were trying to build it but there was a missing piece and she went quiet. Everytime my kids go to the service desk and she helps them including when she helps me she treats us horribly it's like she's racist to us.. But I was so happy because one time Rochelle wasn't there but Marlene was their oh my gosh Marlene Is a gift from the lord she is so kind and sweet she will help u with anything so yea I rate this place 1 star if I could do 0 I would. Really bad customer service. Holiday guarantee price match. When you ask them for PM, they always say yes but once you show them the price they will said they can't do it since price difference. Then they will call supervisor , someone come and they will tell you the same. They can't do it because the price is different . Omg! Worst target ever. The lady on the customer service check out is so unhelpful. They beg you to make the red card but when you have issues they are so unwilling to help. I had to leave all my grocery as it is. Wasted two hours with a toddler. I mean I can order the same stuff online for drive up. Wouldn't it be more difficult for them to find everything again. We had purchased a baby gate for my one year old back in end of January. Our receipt stated that we could return the item up to April 25th. When the gate did not work for us we wanted to take it back but having our one year had health issues we couldn't in the first couple of months which you would think it's fine cause we have until almost the end of April to return it as the receipt stated. End of March we went online to target.com and it stated On There that they are not taking returns at that time due to covid and that they will extend their returns for people. Ok we thought we were one of those people since we had time to return our item but due to their policy at that time of not taking any returns then we couldn't. On may 20th my husband pulled their website and it stated that they're taking returns again so he took the item and went to the store. The cashier, the manager were both extremely rude and told my husband that they couldn't return it cause the receipt had expired on April 25th. My husband tried explain that during our return time frame they stopped taking returns so really it wasn't our fault.... the reply back was that we had 2 months prior to them stopping return to take it back. Now you tell me how dumb, incompetent, ignorant these ladies were. We needed up getting a gift card for almost $80 that I do not want and wanted my first method of payment back. read more

This target does pretty well on a five point scale. We all know what Target carries so I need to go into details about that. Big parking lot for lots of cars, a Charter one bank and Burger King on perimeter and a Starbucks inside to compliment the experience. This particular location carries groceries but not as full-scale as the Target Greenland locations. Store is relatively clean and has great seasonal items. Get in early or they'll be gone. I really like the Detroit sports teams merchandise they carry at the entrance when you come in: Tigers, Red Wings, etc. Great selection of travel toiletries in 3.5 oz bottles. This is my regular go-to Target, and I always seem to find more than I'm looking for (is that a good thing or a bad thing?!). They must be related to Costo. :) I've had good and bad experiences here, but for the most part, the good outweighs the bad. Just tonight, for example, I was all ready to complain because they only had three checkouts open with about 10 people in each line....when suddenly three new lanes opened up. But, another time, I got an idiot cashier who didn't remember me literally five minutes after she checked me out (I've been a cashier, and I could usually remember most of the people I checked out the entire day) and gave me a hassle over something. But another time I forgot a bag of stuff (which never turned up), and they let me come back with my receipt and get everything again. So, as with any other retail outlet, your experience can differ vastly from one time to the next, but overall this is a solid place to shop. read more

What this location suffers from is the huge "Sterling Heights boulevard of fame"/odd open paved area right in front of the doors where at least 30 parking spaces could go. Are they going to have mariachi parades there or people in dragon costumes for Chinese New Year celebrations???? One should not have to traverse such vast spaces of open concrete to get into a run of the mill target store. read more

worst target ever we wear discriminated agenst on one occasion , cashier telling us the card wont go thought when it did, this dint just happen once, but on several occasions, & in the parking lot some crazy women (she was not a worker there, just a stranger) started yelling at us for no reason, then in the store associates yelled at my poor little daughter for not putting bags in the cart, if i needed help i would ask her myself, instead of having a stranger yell at her! SHAME ON YOU TARGET! my daughter was also scolded at a few other times for nor=thing, one time she had a ball, she was bouncing it & got screamed at, this was insane, & it wasn't just her, it was other innocent kids too, i hate this target, i only go here in a emergency, but one time after all this is did go in for some dish washing liquid & the line took me a half hour! read more

I go to this target about twice week (at least) and am blown away each time by the spectacular customer service of the staff! Nick does a wonderful job and always makes my family's day better with his amazing energy and attitude. Shaianna also is wonderful and never makes a bad vanilla latte! This Target is tops - new, clean and well stocked. I prefer this store over the Coolidge Highway store - seems to not be as many young shoppers so the clothes generally aren't as picked over. Also, lines seem to go much quicker. This store also has a Starbucks with cup holders to stick on your cart - perfect for hands-free shopping with a cup of joe. read more

Well we all know Target. I used to love Target I mean I used to absolutely adore it. They have the newest Brands the most fashionable clothes and the greatest prices but lately I must say Target you have let me down. The jury selection even costume jewelry is very lacking to say the least. The purses Handbags and accessories are a definite No-No. I used to love the different brands of kids clothing they have but now it just seems so basic. One positive thing I do have to say about Target is there small grocery selection is pretty neat they have a lot of selection and variety of organic and different types of food Cuisine from different continents. To be honest Target is now overpriced in my opinion comparable to how Macy's used to be. I've had a Target gift card in my wallet for the past year and I just now used it. We use the pharmacy at this Target's because we know and like the Pharamacists and their staff, but I won't buy anything else there. They stock low quality goods for the most part and seem to be targeting (lol) the same niche as Meijer as being the low-price store. But Meijer at least carries brands I like that possess quality. Throw in their new bathroom policy (can you believe their CEO defending this???) which makes you afraid to bring young kids to Target and there you have it. If I want to patronize a low-price department store I will go to Meijer. read more

I just moved here from out of state, and was excited to live near a Target because it's the same in every state. I have been here about 5 times getting my new place set up. The carts here are the "medium" quality, not the brand new rounded plastic carts but not the cheap Kroger grocery carts, either. The grocery section is pretty good. The stock guys are great-- one man dropped everything he was doing and went all the way to the back to get me something when they were out on the shelves. The home section is meh, all the Magnolia Farms stuff just thrown in a regular aisle and not in a cute display like the nice Targets. Same with makeup aisle, not great presentation. Dollar section and Target cafe were fine. The women's accessory section is a total disaster. Things thrown around on the shelves, and it kind of wraps around into two sections so you have to go to more than one place to see all the sunglasses. Kodak photo booth is a joke; I couldn't find the kiosk in my app but remembered they had one so I went anyway. It wouldn't turn on, so I spent 20 minutes fixing loose cords and rebooting the machine (I don't have IT experience, it was something their staff could have easily done had anyone bothered to). Photos unexpectedly came out with a white border around them so I ripped them up and tossed them. They rarely have people working at the regular cash registers and there's usually a line for self-checkout with no one around to help. There's a lady at guest services who barks orders at employees rudely, even when I'm standing there making a return. I can hear her aisles and aisles away just saying things rudely. Maybe I'm just used to a 5-star Target, but if that's what you're looking for, it's not here. read more

Every time I come here there is something on my list they have run out of; the shelf is empty. I usually end up waiting in line longer than I should have to because they don't have enough check out lines open. On the bright side, the customer service is friendly and helpful. In general, I am happy with this Target. The store is clean, the lines are short, and there is a Starbucks. I shop here 1-2 times a week. However, sometimes their cashiers are not too bright especially when it comes to coupon redemption. I try to avoid those cashiers since it adds 5 minutes onto my checkout time. read more

This place sucks. I used to shop here. I've had friends work here. I've known different levels of management here throughout the course of it being open... and it sucks. there was a time, about 10 years ago, when this store was brand new. The lights were bright, shelves clean and orderly, shoppers allowed to shop in peace. Then Target started pushing this thing where everyone asked "Can I help you find something?" If I need help, I'll ask. No. No thank. Stop freaking asking me. The stock team has no effort or drive and do things as slowly as possible, despite the fact that each division is only allotted a certain number of hours each week. So you're screwing over everyone but yourself. Nice. Some of the management I've known through working for the company at other locations, and they are really good people. They work extremely hard to get the bare minimum done, because their teams don't do their work assignments in a timely manner. Most of them have left or are leaving this store. Some I said good riddance to, and some were the only reason I'd even bother coming in, so it sucks a bit. But the place is crap now anyway. terrible stock/ unhelpful employees who don't stick to dress code, which I had gotten reemed for, simply for wearing gloves during the frigid winter while I stood at the register in front of a constantly open front door. They said it was unprofessional. No. what's unprofessional is the young man listening to his music on his phone, his pants sagged past his butt with a belt, doing pick and pack all around the store. Target does not value their customers. I was a long time customer until I bought defective dishes at Target (the paint on the dishes stated chipping within a couple of months of purchasing them). I tried to return them, asking for an in-store credit as I did not want more of the same defective dishes, and I did not like any other pattern of dishes the store had to offer. I wasn't asking for cash back - the $ would still be in their store. The store manager insisted that we had to buy more dishes. Phone calls were made to corporate offices, and they stood by their policy - get more dishes or nothing. Needless to say, my husband and I have not shopped at Target since (this was 8 years ago).
