This store carries great snacks and mini bags of cookies which I will not share

THE DOLLAR STORE.. IT IS WHAT IT IS.. A CRAZY busy, stocked, inexpensive store with great variety. Some areas have off brand items but can still work for one's use. ex. dish soap, coffee filters, plastic ware and plates for parties since these items go down the drain or in a garbage can... recycle. I shop here for wrapping paper, kitchen supplies or cleaning items. I stay away from the pantry food items since the labels show different countries for the name of manufacturer. If anyone has small children, grand children or runs a daycare then toys, books, snacks, crayons, glue, artwork items are highly stocked here along with Season decorations and cute gifts within budget. If I shop here it may be once a month .. ?? or when I need to get rid of a $5.00 bill or singles!! YES THE EMPLOYEES here, always say " Hi" to me and work hard or they are busy working either stocking shelves or at registers.

2018-04-18. Dollar Tree. Utica, MI. The amount of Brand Name merchandise has expanded over years of success. Nestle, Mars, Reese, Wrigley...

2018-04-18. Dollar Tree is a franchise, and a successful one. They've been around for as long as I can remember. The store carries a variety of household items ranging from office and party supplies, to household cleaners, to foodstuffs, to seasonal decorations. They've always been known to carry the lesser known brand labels to maintain margins while keeping prices low. Within the last decade, many of their stores have expanded to carry frozen foods covering everything from breakfast to dessert. Normally, there's not much to say about franchises, they have distribution centers to keep products consistent. But the reason I'm writing this review is twofold. The first is that this location seems to carry a much larger variety of items than other locations. The second is the number of brand names Dollar Tree now carries. I'm not certain if it's only this particular location or all franchises, but this Dollar Tree carries brand names many have cone to trust; Crest toothpaste, Dawn dish soap, Bounty Paper Towels, and Advil to name a few. True, 90+% of their products are still off-brands, but this is a great sign, and I'm still a fan. 4 stars. If you would like to read more, come dine-with-me@yelp.com, I'd love to have your company...

Review #546 - Updated from past 6/24/2017 Review....4 Stars to 5…read more April 30, 2026 - Thursday I recently shopped here after striking out at a nearby other home store - At Home. I was happy to purchase a beautiful Yellow Forsythia Artificial Wreath for My Front Double Doors and 2 sets of colored Tulips for an artificial floral arrangement at this Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I also purchased Serta Soft Cool and Warm material Bed sheets throughout my browsing and price checking with comparison. Yes, this location maybe disorganized at times or messy areas of towels or other sale items but shoppers can be the reason because every time I shop here for a sale item or check on an ad item, the staff here are working the best they can and hard at times unpacking boxes to stocking shelves. I've been greeted with a Hello at times which is courtesy of them in between their busy work schedule. If busy at check out and a long line begins, another pleasant employee will open up another register. Seasonal merchandise is always plenty especially My last visit in February the store was ready stocked with Easter and Spring items which I posted photos of from the main center areas. Sign up to collect rewards for your purchases and of course Emails will be sent with their weekly Sale Flyer ! www Ollie's us Download their App for quick reference too! "Get & Buy Good Stuff Cheap" from 25% up to 70% off manufacturer prices Cookware, Bedding, Bath, Lawn & Garden & POOL Supplies and Summer Toys are Now Sold Here! Music is still be played to help your steps in shopping as years ago. I enjoy the Herr's Snacks, Moose Munch Popcorn, plus a certain Cereal Brand - SpecialK, Coffee K-Cups and Other Grab and Go items but Watch The Expiration Dates. I've never had a problem but just in case grab an item from the back or if up front check the date. The "Library" area lol is still great for Readers with Shelves of Books labeled with different signs for the different readers. Currently their Summer Ad is out with Window Air Conditioners, and Portable on Wheels too to get ready for the Heat of Michigan. Those would be good for College dorms or residents without A/C. I also noticed in their New Flyer for the month of May, they are selling a brand of different tools called Hart. How about a front or patio door Coir Mat? Its now at Ollie's in the Outdoor Patio Section. Overall I enjoy my Ollie's Bargain Outlet. They always have a large, albeit random, selection of…read moreproducts. I will however admit that the store could be much more clean and organized, as the floor and shelves are often messy, and many aisles are almost bare of products. While this is unfortunately the case, I must add that I do see employees out doing what they can to remedy the situation, and all of the employees I've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. The store is large, and I love their huge selection of books. They also have a very large parking lot, so there is no issue finding a spot. It's great for yard and home items, also rugs and carpet remnants. Ollie's could use some polishing, but it's still a great quick stop shop.

I normally go the Dollar Tree in Troy (in the Walmart plaza) but I was on my way to Panera to pick up curbside, and this was the only dollar store in that area. It had kind of an old/funky smell inside. I saw they had cards through the window, so that was encouraging, but their Halloween selection is pretty limited; they maybe had like 10 different card designs to choose from, but 7-8 of those were for little kids (grandkids, children, etc). I ended up buying five for family and friends, and good thing I did because they have a $5 minimum limit for credit cards. The final reason I'm giving them 3 stars: the cashier was not wearing a mask. The man next to him beside the counter was, FWIW. He had a very thin layer of plastic sheeting between me and him, so I'm guessing that's why he thought it was fine ... however, I'm "high risk," so I definitely wiped off my credit card with a wipe when I got back to my car. I wouldn't stop by here again, I will just go to Dollar Tree next time. But they do have a lot of cards (non-Halloween ones) if you need them.

I was treated with disrespect and discrimination by the store manager, who moved my shopping cart, hid it from me so I couldn't find it, and then refused to help me because the store was closing. Despite my attempts to explain that I simply wanted to pay for my items, the manager continued to harass me, threatened to call the police on me, and ultimately told me to leave the store and never come back. This whole experience was incredibly upsetting and made me feel discriminated against due to my disability. I was so upset that I was in tears, especially since there were still other customers in the store checking out when I was told to leave, even though it wasn't closing time yet. I urge anyone considering shopping at this location to be aware of the potential for discriminatory treatment. This experience has left me feeling hurt and unwelcome in my own community. If the manager behaves this way, I can only imagine how the employees treat people. This is unacceptable behavior for any establishment, and I will not be shopping at this location again. And for everything good salvation army stands for. I realize today that they don't practice anything that they say they believe in this manager should be fired. Salvation army is supposed to have a heart and not treat people in any way different.
