I've purchased two sofas here, the most recent of which was delivered on Friday. I LOVE this one…read moreeven more than my last sofa! Going into a furniture store can sometimes feel as annoying as maneuvering through a car dealership. You hardly ever get out unscathed. Value City may initially give off that same energy since sales is the name of the game; but if you are seriously looking with the intent to buy, this may be the place you want to consider. Our salesperson, Tom, was very helpful. Finding furniture with dimensions that will fit through my narrow doorway has always been a challenge. Tom was able to find the dimensions of my old sofa which is now discontinued and with that info I was able to confidently commit to this next purchase. We actually found the same sofa online from a different company (one that I was unfamiliar with) while shopping and still felt more comfortable getting it from Value City. Value City stands behind their products and their movers are professionals. Getting furniture into my place is tricky, but they have given me no reason to doubt their abilities as of yet. I've been to a lot of different furniture companies, and they all talk a good game, but Value City has the best record in my book. Oh, and make sure you get the 5 year protection plan. Worth it. If you don't ever use it, you get it back at the end as a credit.

I really had good experience with this store recently and want to share it here…read more I made a big purchase about a year ago from this store including sofa, dining set, bed (cat was not included) and drawer. It wasn't cheap but since I wanted something decent for my newly wedded home, I was willing to pay big bucks. I initially went to the store in Paramus and did not like the selection there and since the sofa was literally all out of stock, I had to call all the stores in the area. Thankfully this location had the sofa in display model and no other place wanted to sell it but this location. I REALLY love all the furniture I purchased back then. Even after a year, it's been awesome. About few weeks ago, I accidentally broke one of the dining chair. I reached out to the store to see if the warranty covers it. The chair was out of stock in all the stores. I spoke to the manager (ah I for got her name!) and she told me she will try to help. I didnt have much hope as they did not have the chair in-stock. In 1.5 weeks, she literally called me few times to follow up and came back with the new chair!! she had to call multiple locations and warehouses for locate one!! OMG! I didnt expect or hoped I can get it replaced but she really made it happen. Even about a year later, I am pleasantly surprised with the purchase and the quality of the items and their customer service. At first, she might not seems the friendliest person you ever met but once you speak to her, she really tries hard to bring your satisfaction to the best possible! Thank you again and I really appreciate the help!

Honestly, not everything here's a bargain as I've found better quality grilling tools for less elsewhere -- so, assuming everything's uniformly cheaper because the store looks like an organized garage sale is not your best move. I roam for ten minutes and if I bump into something I know is a good deal like motor oil, then the trip is a success. But be forewarned, you're on you're own. The store looks thinly staffed bordering on invisible. Who cares, I scored a Jean Claude van Damme Blu ray box set for $6 and a couch to surf it on. Who's better than me?

They carried a great selection of car care products and good prices. To me they should bring it back, I myself don't go here as much (unless my wife needs me to pick something up) because they don't carry the items I use the most. That's losing sales.
