But we had already tried that and were told by AFA Furniture to contact J& M directly since they said AFA only sells J&M Furniture and are not responsible for manufacturing defects. The furniture came in earlier than expected and I wasn't ready for it. He was extremely patient with me and I truly appreciate it. They did deliver to me on a Saturday afternoon. They were good also. They had to take apart the furniture to bring it in my house. Sunday Levi came over to put the furniture together. He was amazing!!! He was very polite and knew his job very well. My furniture is so well put together the Hulk could jump on it and do no damage to it. I was very happy with everything and I will be back for end tables in the near future. It wasn't cheap but since I wanted something decent for my newly wedded home, I was willing to pay big bucks. I initially went to the store in Paramus and did not like the selection there and since the sofa was literally all out of stock, I had to call all the stores in the area. Thankfully this location had the sofa in display model and no other place wanted to sell it but this location. I REALLY love all the furniture I purchased back then. Even after a year, it's been awesome. About few weeks ago, I accidentally broke one of the dining chair. I reached out to the store to see if the warranty covers it. The chair was out of stock in all the stores. I spoke to the manager (ah I for got her name!) and she told me she will try to help. I didnt have much hope as they did not have the chair in-stock. In 1.5 weeks, she literally called me few times to follow up and came back with the new chair!! she had to call multiple locations and warehouses for locate one!! OMG! I didnt expect or hoped I can get it replaced but she really made it happen. Even about a year later, I am pleasantly surprised with the purchase and the quality of the items and their customer service. At first, she might not seems the friendliest person you ever met but once you speak to her, she really tries hard to bring your satisfaction to the best possible! They gladly charged my credit card on July 17th, delivered a floor sample instead of new furniture on August 7th, waited over a month to pick up the incorrect furniture on September 1st, and now on September 19th, I still haven't received my refund. And yet they pushed further to Noh giving us a between deal eventually they offered a different smaller sofa and a loveseat for an extra 200 and we took it believing it was a good deal They took 2 weeks to call us for delivery date and then we weren't scheduled for a week after that!
