I feel a bit odd rating this Target (a chain store) so highly. But it's my solid go-to all-in-one store that never seems to fail me. Personally, it's a 5 star well earned. The prices are always reasonably affordable and their styles for women's clothing are actually really cute. Heck, half my clothing is from here and I still get compliments. I love being stylish without having to break the bank! They even have a food section in this store. Can you say awesome!? It is always very clean and well organized there. Their target brand items are pretty good too. I must say that their target fruit snacks are naturally sweet and yummy. My only complaint is that they're are very few packs in a box. Being that it's an all-in-one store, they have electronics, DVDs/CDs, books, baby items, home decor/bedding (love their ever-changing designer styles), adorable office supplies, outdoor gear, and more. It's a bit silly to say that Target is better than Walmart-- since mostly based on location. But this Target makes it true for me. This location is clean, affordable and organized. I visited the Greenville Rhode Island store today because I had an appointment in the vicinity. I had not been in this store for probably 6 months. I was entirely frustrated by not being able to find items that I find easily in other Target stores in the past. The help seemed incompetent in aiding me in my search. I just can't go wrong at Target. At 99% of the time am able to easily find exactly what I need. The layout is easy to follow, so it is not time consuming to find what I am looking for. Location -- this Target is SOO much easier for me to access since its right off the highway (and I won't lie...I avoid Warwick like the plague) -- easy off, easy on. I also can stop into Dave's Market (another FAV). Christmas-time can be a traffic nightmare -- so you have to plan for that. That will not be an easy in, easy out. It is a very clean and organized store...the only pitfall is the entrance/exit situation. Overall I like this Target. The store is very clean and well stocked, they have almost anything your looking for a decent prices and it's convenient to 44 since there is no Walmart or other Targets around. The lines tend to get long sometimes but that can happen anywhere..and I do like that there is a Starbucks inside also. I come here randomly for things none of the local drugstores carry. read more

Target's a great place to shop. You are always greeted and helped if needed. They have pretty much anything you could want, somethings pricier than others and sometimes it's difficult to navigate your way around the store because of the signs but we really like it here. I've been to this Target location a few times now and I think I may switch all together to this spot instead of the Warwick Mall location. This is a much more quiet and calm store with a lot less shoppers, yet still conveniently located right off 44. The store itself is fairly clean and pretty well stocked. They also have a grocery section. The staff are helpful and friendly. Target, target how I love thee... I am a fan indeed. This Target is pretty nice, clean and good layout. It is even amongst many other good shopping for those on a budget but not wanting to sacrifice quality....this area could be my new favorite shopping spot. I'm so glad I finally checked this particular Target out, Target is my sanctuary. Plus there is always something very awesome there, that I never knew I wanted, that makes shopping fun. As far as the clothes; I have never had a problem with the t-shirts, tank tops, graphic tees, swimsuits, fitness wear, or pajamas but I am hard pressed to find anyone that the pants, jeans, or shorts work for (unless they are a stick with no hips). In short I highly recommend Target; good deals, awesome stuff, lots of creative options for decorating on a budget, and plenty of good priced grocery options. Employees are all really nice, it's a pretty organized/clean store, and I don't usually have issues with the wait. Sometimes, there's a pharmacist that isn't as nice as everyone else working behind the counter (she's not always there). Consistent results from this store. read more

I like this store because it's close to me. My only issue is they run out of sizes in all departments fast compared to the other stores in Warwick or Lincoln. They don't seem to keep things in stock as well as the other 2 stores. Staff is very friendly though! read more

This is my favorite place to go for essential things such as toilet paper and also chips and dry goods. This location has a grocery store so you can pick up some frozen foods as well as some produce. Prices are reasonable and the quality is decent. I love the seasonal department they always have awesome decorations especially now during Christmas. They also have some great deals on under things and pajamas. My cashier was very friendly. My only complaint about this location is the same one I always have here is the lines. I hope someone from target reads this because the check out system is seriously flawed. The wait was ridiculous. I was about three minutes from leaving my cart and walking out. It took them four deep to call for back up and my biggest complaint ..... The cashiers all walked to registers and said I'm open. Yeah great so me who waited for ten minutes waited some more because the jerk behind me almost mowed me down getting there. I work in a retail store and the way we do It is go to the next customer in line and walk them to the register. This way people are not waiting who has already been there. Since Day 1/Ground Zero I've been completely obsessed with Target. Overall, this particular location is one of my favourites especially since it's one stop over from my place of employment. I seriously go here at least twice a week. However this review is specifically for the -pharmacy-. As a CVS/Pharmacy employee, I refuse to pick up my scripts from the same company I work for: not for any particular negative reason necessarily (I won't go into detail) but simply for the whole "OMIGOD I'VE WORKED AT MCDONALDS AND I TOTALLY SAW THEM DROP A BURGER AND SERVE IT" syndrome. Unfortunately my insurance coverage actually dictates where I can pick up my prescriptions and will not provide online reconciliation unless I go to a CVS. I've always used Target Pharmacies in the past and will pretty much refuse to budge unless the drug costs like, a gazillion dollars for its cash price. Yup you heard me. I'd rather pay cash and send forms for manual reimbursement. Usually I'd go to the Target at the Warwick Mall or Seekonk, however since I moved (and it's on the way back from both my doctor's as well as optometrist), this became the easiest location for me. I got married a few months ago and my last name changed from the super simple "Gay" to the mad ridiculously complicated for all of mankind, "Von Hoffer." ...This is the ONLY Target location that actually took the time out to ensure the spelling and space was correct. (While this may not seem like a huge deal, my RX coverage throws a fit if the space isn't in there, delaying reimbursement sometimes a full 30 days). The pharmacist and staff are ALWAYS wonderful and without ever being asked, automatically apply any applicable discount program since I'm a cash patient. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes after dropping off (I don't have anything on refill) and they always take out the time to explain or answer any questions I have. In the past, they've been really helpful with recommending OTC products for various issues. And trust me, I knooow the pressure of dealing with fussy patients. But no matter what, the staff have always been extremely patient and understanding. Recently they've started a nifty RX rewards program with all sorts of cool perks. I really do recommend Target, especially their pharmacies. I've never received poor service and they have AMAZING staff (and the red bottles with the bands are wicked). ....It doesn't hurt that I can slurp down a Trenta iced coffee while waiting, either! read more

Went to target on 12/29/19 bought a Office 365 gift card. Tried to enter the pin online at the Microsoft Store to download the program. It doesn't work. Went back to target told by the manager that its a Microsoft problem, not Target. The Manager took the card and my receipt and supposedly went and looked it up. Which in hind site now I don't think he even bothered to do it. Manager at Target calls Microsoft on my behalf. Manager tells me that its Microsoft's problem and they're going to help me. A week and a half later after hours of phone calls Microsoft tells me that Target never activated the card this is why it will not work. I call Target again. Speak to the manager he tells me that there is no way it couldn't be activated. Rudely tells me that he will reach out to Microsoft again but cannot guarantee that it will work and basically if that doesn't work I'm out of luck. I will be out $99.99. All I was told over and over by the manager was that it states on the receipt no refunds. I argued that the card isn't activated. He didn't want to hear it. I called Target Corporate who was appalled by how this whole situation went down. They asked me for the gift card number and after I sat on hold for a good 20 minutes they came back and told me that the card was never activated at the store. Funny I told the manager it couldn't possibly have been activated but he argued with me and made me feel I was at fault. Thankfully Target Corporate realized their mistake and will grant me a refund for the card. Now I'm just waiting for them to call me with how the refund will occur. The management at Target Smithfield is incompetent. Its making me question if I even want to shop there ever again. read more

Store has been refreshed and looks quite good but the men's clothing leaves a lot to be desired. The good fellows clothing line is really, really cheap. Against my better judgement I spent $6.00 for a super thin t-shirt that shrunk a full size after one wash. Will definitely return the other two. Whoever is the buyer for Target should find another line of work. read more

On 9/13/2018 I purchased a TV at this store. Today,11/3/2018 the screen went blank but the audio works. I contacted the store and was told to send it back to the manfacturer because they don't do repairs at the store. Well this the wrong procedure. The store should have done a exchanged then send it back to the manfacturer as defective. This is the procedure that is done at other stores. I will never but anything from Target again. A store should not treat a customer like this. read more

Target is a very dishonest and manipulative company. Regardless of their flagrant negligence when all of their credit cards were hacked; they often send late billing and then charge $25 late fees regardless of their failures. Their phone system us slow and poorly responsive. They have no process of appeal for their own mistakes. They have little regard for customers. read more
