They wouldn't redeem it and it wasn't expired. Back in March, my car battery died and I went in to ask if and employee could help me jump it. I had the cables. Mitch the manager would do better to learn some basic customer service skills than cling to the philosophy that "there is nothing I can do about it". Offered 6 bucks in store credit for a 130 dollar price screw up. But that was not all, as he spoke with a bit of "snarkiness" in his tone over the walkie talkies without realizing I could hear him. Good, not great, store that could definitely pick up points by realizing we have a lot of other options when shopping. Ok, I love Target. So much. I sometimes spend an hour just walking around before going for the things I came here for. Prices are good, people are friendly, it's cleanly. But this Target, on Fulton, has the biggest amount of expired food problem I've ever seen. Guaranteed, every time I come in here I find multiple expired and moldy food on the shelves. This Target is one of the smaller Targets in the area. Because of that they do not have a pharmacy or a Starbucks, but they do have a nice selection in the grocery department. They carry fresh produce and meat and have a large freezer section as well. The fruits and veggies switch up every few days as to what is carried so you get a variety. The clothing department has stylish merchandise at a good price. This is my go to store for my three kids clothes. You can't beat 5% off every purchase if you use your red card and the cartwheel app saves me a ton! I like being greeted when I walk through the door and all the friendly team members. read more

Given the current RECALL status of GRACO DROP SIDE CRIBS you'd think this Target would be realistic with the recall situation. When calling to find how to get my crib exchanged/comped/whatever'd, I get told they would have to CHECK to make sure my crib had not EXPIRED from their list. WHAT? Hi, chumps. The GOVERNMENT recalled Graco's crap drop side cribs because they KILL or SQUISH infants. Might want to think about that the next time you tell someone you *may* not be able to take their crib back. Was in the neighborhood for my son's doctor's appointment, saw target and thought `Hmmmm, we do need formula'. What a mistake I had made. I went to purchase over $100 worth of formula (4 items in my purchase) and I wanted to do the gift card deal spend $100 get a $20 GC, and use a similac coupon on each of my cans. Every other target I've ever been to goes off of what the coupons say. This store tried to limit me to 2 coupons for my whole transaction. The cashier (Paulina) was a total bitch as soon as I pulled my coupons out. Acted like I was bothering her. I wanted to go up front and talk to their manager and have them check us out, this bitch acted like I was going to walk out the door with the formula and took it away from me. I told the manager all of that and he went back to get the formula. I said forget it, I will go to a different store. This store makes up their own rules apparently. It's also really run down. About the cashier that's always at the food court... I don't understand why she's in customer service? I come to this target all the time since it's right next to my house and I love coming by the food court for a fast lunch. There's this girl will blondish hair who is usually the cashier in this department ... she acts like she literally hates working there, hates anyone who comes by and like it's a drag every time someone orders. I literally see her roll her eyes every time I order. Never smiles. The other day I came by I wanted to order something she had to make and it took about 6 min... right while I was ordering she cut me off saying "what we have displayed is all we have here... I'm just covering for someone" ...... ummm okay??? If your covering that means your doing the other persons job while they're away. This is by far the worst Target experience in my entire life. This Target location really needs to get their act together and properly vet the people they hire. THIS IS NOT WALMART!! The cashier in guest services was inept, utterly rude, and screwed up my transactions on multiple occasions to the point that I had to request a full refund. She is described as a Caucasian lady with brunette hair and glasses. She was the only one working guest services at the time (10/24/19 at 5:58 pm) I wish I got her name. Very disappointing considering that I usually shop at this Target location from time to time. Target currently has a promo going on (buy 4 hair products get a $5 gift card). I bought those along with some other items. From the very beginning, the cashier had a disgusting attitude and acted like she did me a favor by visiting the store. When I wanted to use my gift card towards my purchase, she RUDELY stated that I can only use the gift card towards a future purchase. That was not even the problem, mind you I have absolutely no problem with store enforcing policy. It was just in the manner of which I was spoken to that was very appalling. NOPE, the nightmare doesn't end there. After I had left the store, I had noticed that my Cartwheel coupon (10% off one item) was not applied on my purchase when I took a look at my receipt. Mind you, I have already added the coupon to my wallet on the app. So I returned to the store to bring this to her attention. She pretty much lied to my face stating that the discount was already applied to my purchase. Even though its clearly not indicated on the receipt. Again, I left the store and reexamined the receipt. According to the receipt, the reduced prices were only the adjusted prices to my hair conditioners due to the $5 promo. There was NO 10% off applied to one of my other items that I purchased regular price. At that point I was so frustrated and I returned back to the store AGAIN and requested a FULL refund. When the cashier refunded me, I noticed that it was not a full refund. I paid $25.58 and was refunded $20.58 back to my Target card. At the time, I didn't think much of it as I figured the $5 gift card was not refundable. UNTIL I tried to use my gift card at another Target location, THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE GIFT CARD!!!!!! I was thinking, "what the hell?" How is there nothing on my gift card when I did not receive a FULL refund back to my card?!?! At that point, I was so pissed!!! I returned back to the store AGAIN and confronted her about the fact that SHE SOLD ME A ZERO BALANCE GIFT CARD!!! Instead of taking full accountability, she continues to give me her BS story on how gift cards are not refundable. Well duh, I know that! The problem is that YOU SOLD ME A GIFT CARD WITH ZERO BALANCE! How is that legal? As soon as I showed her BOTH receipts (original and return), the look on her face was priceless. AGAIN, she was caught in a lie. She FINALLY refunded me the $5 difference she owed me. This would have just ended, had she sold me a gift card with the $5 IN IT! NOPE, the nightmare doesn't end there. I also want to note that I have attempted to get a hold of the manager on duty to directly report the experience, but of course they put me on hold for several minutes to the point I had to hang up and report the incident to the Corporate call center. I tried to directly address it with store first before escalating but apparently that was NOT successful. AGAIN, WORST TARGET EXPERIENCE EVER! This is customer service that I would expect from Walmart. It's only a matter of time that she will continue to piss off more customers and drive them to other locations. Where does Target find these people?! I swear I've never seen that lady before as much I shop there, she must be new. Perhaps she needs more training? Well that's about to change, I will NEVER shop at that Target location ever again even if it's the last location left. No wonder this target has such bad reviews. It's TERRIBLE. I never shop at this one but decided to stop by since I was near by. The "manager" Johnny was a total asshole. He started making up his own policy and when I asked him to show it to me he said "I don't have it, do you?" Excuse me, but why would a customer have a copy of your policy handbook. That is your responsibility to be trained and taught the correct policy not make up bs because you don't know what it is. The employees are rude and don't care about the customers. The outside is total trash, bums and tweakers everywhere and garbage all over the parking lot. Totally disgusting!! This Target is lacking in many areas & the remodel is just awkward. It seems like they don't even try. I went shopping here a few months ago and I was on a mission to find a pair of basic jeans. I chose Target because they usually have a wall of jeans that's organized by color, style and size. Well........ absolutely no jeans except pairs of Mom jeans randomly hung around the women's/'jr's department. The sales associate told me that's all they have. I understand this was right after the remodel but it's just unacceptable to not have basic jeans at Target. While I agree that the store needs interior upgrades it is far better that the Fulton Way store. Its clean, well stocked and the aisles free from clutter. When I need to get some quick shopping done for personal toiletries I usually go during my lunch break and always return satisfied with my experience. Very limited apparel, seemed like only two items were on sale, but it's a good place for basic needs. If you need emergency apparel (like sweats for PT or an XL shirt) your best bet is to go to Walmart. Best of luck finding what you need! read more

Use to come to this target a lot then stopped a few years ago because felt that it just wasn't worth the awful shopping experience; always seemed disorganized, horrible customer service, and always seemed dirty with trash and random merchandised throughout the aisles floors. However, decided to run in here on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly impressed with how much different it looks now. I don't usually shop at this Target so when I came in I didn't know that they have a "one line" system currently. My mom and I came in to grab sodas and went to the self-checkout line. I checked with the people around me and confirmed where the end of the line was. When I got to the front of the line, the woman running the self-checkout lanes asked me if we had gone to the back of the line. When I said yes, she asked if I had gone to the back of the "actual line" and pointed to the line that leads to the regular registers. I was confused. At this point she told me that they have a "one-line system" and that I would need to go all the way to the back of the line now. What was most frustrating is that she clearly had seen my mom and I get in line and knew we didn't go to the back of the "correct" line but waited until we had gotten to the front of the line to tell us to go all the way to the back. There were no signs and no one directing foot traffic to make it clear that this was the system they used. We put our drinks back and left because of how disrespectful the woman was towards us and because we didn't feel we should have to wait in line all over again behind a bunch of people who got there after us. I'm going to avoid shopping at this Target from now on to avoid employees like this. Please either make this Target's system consistent with other Targets (the one I normally go to does not have one line) or make it clear how the line system works if it's going to be different. And please make sure your employees are being decent to the people shopping. read more

I am at Target and just received the worse bullshit story ever. Store Manager Francis came out at 6am and told me and 6 people that waited in line that there were no NES Classic Editions. I waited in line three hours and the whole time no one would or could update us on their inventory since the truck wasn't fully unloaded. So we all leave under the understanding that there are no units available. My friend comes to the same store at 7:30 and is told there was a unit at the store. I return to the store since I was first in line and I speak to the Store manager Francis about where the unit came from. She clearly stated that there were no units at 6am so how did one pop up out of nowhere? Poor Francis was hella confused and could not answer why I was mislead. I then track the store inventory that said there was five units in stock and now it says there are four units. The inventory directly reflects the store selling a unit. Why can't I buy a NES for my son Target? What's the difference between me and the lady that bought "the only NES in stock all of a sudden." Why does she wait 45 minutes and get one?" I wait all night twice and can't get one. Target is probably worse than Victoria Secret. I'm waiting for them to ask me to leave because someone else is stealing. read more

Very disappointed with exchange policy. My mom purchased a coffee grinder less than two weeks ago and went back to exchange it for a replacement because it only worked once. Then she was only offered five dollars as credit because she didn't have the receipt on her. we have have been going to target for the past ten years and that's the first time we run into a defective item we purchased. This policy is very wrong and that's not how valued customer should be treated for defective a item with or without a receipt. These items can be returned back to the manufacture for an exchange and credit back to target company. Why do target let their customers take the loss for a defective item. read more

Even though they've undergone a remodel fairly recently, this Target seems like a blast from the past. Nothing on the shelves is very organized, and a lot of things are overstocked. It seems to be laid out fairly randomly - it reminds me of the Riverside Target (another blast from the past, even now). Their seasonal department always looks like things are just thrown around, and there is always a random empty shelf somewhere. Whoever is in charge of this store's upkeep needs to reevaluate their priorities. The strangest thing, though, is up front at the registers: it's ALWAYS backed up. No matter how many cashiers they have working, I always end up waiting in line. It doesn't matter what time of day it is. I think this is especially true because the express lane is rarely open, and I'm usually only getting a few things (I live down the street). Target usually has fairly fast cashiers, and I wouldn't say the ones here are particularly slow... maybe it's just bad management? It's hard to tell. Another strange thing is that sometimes, in the middle of the night, all the lights are off in their parking lot. That just seems sketchy. The only good thing is their customer service department. I've never had trouble returning items, and they're always very nice. However, all in all, a pretty shoddy establishment. read more
