The staff at the customer service was so nice. This location has more selection than most Target places I know.

This stupid store sold my Beatles Wii game. I had a card to reserve it and everything! Now I have to wait and HOPEFULLY the manager will call me when a game comes in. read more

Was very unhappy with my visit to this store today. I shop at this store at least once a week and spend a lot of money there. I joined the red card to get 5% off my purchases. I went to the customer service desk with a return today. The young lady asked if I had a receipt and my red card. I gave her the receipt and my temporary card they gave me. The computer had trouble reading the card so she asked if she could just give me a gift card I said ok since I had something's to get. When I checked out the same issues with not being able to read my temp. red card. So the girl just rang it through instead of getting help and sent me to customer service when I noticed my 5% was not taken off . At the customer sevice desk I asked to speak with a manager. The young lady called him and she told me he could not come and she would take care of it. My total bill was for 127.51 minuse the 30.00 gift card she gave me for a "RETURN" that I already paid for. She gave me 4.00 back. I said you owe me 6.37. She said I was only to get 5% on 97.51 since the other 30.00 was a gift card. I said I wanted to talk to the manager. He never came. Help me understand the 30.00 was NOT A GIFT ! It was a returned item that I already paid for. Why was it not treated as cash. I tried to explaine this to her she was the one that gave me the gift card and still no manager. At this point the young lady was getting rude. It was pretty simple. I can not believe the manager never came up front. Got tired of trying to explain and believe me it was not about the extra 2.37 it was the principle that neither the girl at the register or the customer service girl knew how to do the transaction or get the correct 5% off. Literally the worse customer service ever. I've been shopping there for a very long time. Always used multiple coupons while I shop. However tonight I attempted to use coupons and the cashier I dealt with would not allow me to use more than one coupon per transaction. After trying to explain that I've always used multiple coupons, and receiving a very rude reply from her, I finally just decided to proceed and pay the extra money. Poor customer service. Especially for a long time customer. Needless to say I will be switching to the target on Rio. The cashier (for the target employees reading this) was a long name that began with a T. Horrible pharmacy! Will not tell you if they have something in stock....you need to drive there first!! Just do NOT use!!!!!!

Constantly having to enter a dark crowded garage just to park is the first inconvenience. When I once supplied feedback about the unethical practices and service of the team, store manager Josh conveyed indifference, shunned me and did not display any care towards my issue. No empathy was given. The employees are never helpful or warm. The shelves are rarely stocked, and items are either missing or misplaced half of the time. I've purchased outdated bread and overly dried salmon that could not cook down. And if an item is in stock, just finding an employee to assist you with obtaining it is an obstacle. I once waited 20 minutes in the customer service line before a manager saw the evident need for back up. Wait times overall are long, as supervisors consistently look baffled on how to maximize efficiency. Also prepare to be hassled when making a return with or without a receipt. I recall going to numerous Target locations and being offered aide upon entering the store. My experiences at other locations have also never been as awful as this one. It is beyond disappointing that a loyal shopper such as myself has had to endure repeated unprofessionalism at this Target store. read more

I love this target. Compared to other targets I have been to. The only thing that is keeping this from being 5, is the the cashier associates are a hit or miss. I had a rather unpleasant experience at the Target Store on Bou Ave in Rockville, MD on Friday, September 21, 2007. On the morning of that day I went to that store to buy, among other things, a "Pur" water filtration system. When I opened the box at home, I discovered that the filter was not in new condition - in fact, it looked like a used (and severely beat up) filter that had been put into the box and back on the shelf by mistake. So I drove back to the Target store in Rockville a couple of hours later, at around 4 p.m., to exchange the filtration system. Much to my surprise, however, the managers at the store refused to accept the return and exchange the filtration system I had purchased that morning for a new system, and insisted that the filtration system I had as a matter of fact purchased and taken out of the box a couple of hours earlier could not have been the system that was in the box. That is, they accused me of lying to them and attempting to commit a crime and defraud the store by trying to return a filter not identical to the one I had bought that morning. This accusation has no basis in the facts, is ludicrous and, I have to say, rather insulting. (As outrageous as the episode even up to this point was, it was not without its comical elements: When I showed my receipt to the second supervisor or manager who arrived on the scene, he said triumphantly, as if he just found evidence for the alleged scam I tried to commit: "Ah! But the receipt says '9/21'!" And of course it did, since that was the very day when I bought the system and tried to return it. Why he appeared to think that this constituted evidence that I am trying to defraud the store is something I fail to understand.) It appears, then, that I am stuck: I bought a box at Target that contained a wrecked, banged up, and obviously used water filtration system, and, adding insult to injury, the very fact that the system was in this state was used by the your employees as pretext to question my integrity and as grounds to refuse to exchange the filtration system. Since understandably I was rather upset about the treatment I had just received, I called Target Guest Services after having left the store. I was eventually transferred to a supervisor or specialist there, who said she was backing the store's version--that is, she, too, accused me of lying, first to the store employees and now to her, and of trying to commit a crime, She did transfer me to a higher-level supervisor, who told me that he agreed with the what the store's managers said as well. While the first Guest Services specialist at least had the courtesy and decency to speak to me politely, the second supervisor with whom I spoke had the attitude and tone of a detective on a bad TV show who is convinced of the guilt of the suspect in front of him. Thus, he quizzed me about my exact whereabouts during the day and when at one point I asked him what he would do if he was in my situation he made the following puzzling remark: "I would return the product to the store immediately. But by your own admission (!) you waited for two hours!" I'm not sure whether I should be furious about the way he treated me or should laugh at the ludicrous private-detective-charade he put on. Given that I had just bought what turned out to be a used product at Target, had been insulted by the store employees when I unsuccessfully tried to return it, and called Guest Services to get help in this situation, the behavior of the supervisor on the phone was utterly inappropriate, unprofessional, and inexcusable. Clearly there are multiple levels at which this incident was mishandled by Target. First, of course, the used water filtration system should never have made its way onto a shelf in the store. Second, when I came to return the system after I had the bad luck of picking it off the shelf and purchasing the system, the supervisors at the store should have apologized to me for the inconvenience this incident caused me and quickly and courteously exchanged the system. Instead they insulted me and accused me of lying and trying to defraud the store. Third, instead of apologizing for the unpleasant experience I had to endure in the store and offering me immediate compensation, the two Target employees with whom I spoke on the phone also accused me of lying to them. I had been a loyal Target customer for many years. Needless to say that after this episode I am inclined not to shop at Target ever again. read more

What can I say? It's a Target that is stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are two floors and a cart-escalator. The only thing I've ever had issues with is the parking garage as people in the garage seem to have forgotten how to drive. read more

The photo printing service: Very poor service, very rude service person. We submitted photos online the previous day, went to pick up the next day at 10 am, and after having to repeat my name four times (being interrupted the first time by a cold "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"), was simply told "It's not here". When I asked "why" the answer I get back is "online takes longer", which is nonsense. It is supposed to be 1 hr and we are paying extra price for that. No explanation given, not a slightest intention of apology, simply rude and insensitive. Will never go there again. Would have given a zero star if that is an option. read more

the young gentleman stopped working on his project to help me find clearance picture frames on tax free back to school weekend in the home goods aisle. He then asked me if i knew about the big no tax weekend sale and told me it was on shoes and clothes and then he ran to the front of the store to get me a copy of the circular so i would know what was on sale this weekend at target. Please promote this young man as soon as possible ....his customer service skills and his willingness to help was up there as far as the best i have ever seen in a store. read more
