Out of the 2 targets in Tri-citys this has to be the best one. Always organized, bathrooms well stocked & clean. Love that they are always well organized & the flow of products are easy to go through. Staff is friendly and helpful in locating items. Front team staff looks well groomed & seems like that have good communication. Cashiers Aaliyah was so sweet and friendly. Wish more cashiers were like that, enjoy her, enjoyed my customer service experience her. Also love that a Starbucks in located in the store, they provide the same product selection as other Starbucks locations. read more

I love seeing "Clearance" on each sections......it's a really clean store, good variety of mechanizes and the employees are actually very knowledgeable in their assigned post (That helps) - and they will assist you in your questions - and or even give you references on other locations if you can't find it there. I appreciated that a lot .... and one even mentioned a near by camping store where I could buy stuff for cheap. You don't see that a lot. I only had one incident where I didn't get help for 15 minutes (mostly cause sometimes I looked intimidating and she was getting off her shift) - but other than that - the overall customer service is fantastic. Another plus is: STARBUCKS - in right by the entrance....clean and available sitting area in the sore. Friendly workers and just an overall good store to go to - especially when prices are dropping. Stopped at the Queensgate Target this morning at about 11a.m. to return some items, with the tags attached and receipts. Items were purchased three days ago. Adam at the returns desk was rude and snotty, for absolutely no reason. I've had problems at this returns desk before. I had returned items that my receipt showed were partially paid for with a gift card. I was given credit for the "reduced" price, after the gift card was deducted. I asked if I would then receive a new gift card for the value of the items and was told 'NO'. That the gift card money was just 'lost' and that I received nothing for it. After my unhelpful returns desk experience today, I checked out the Easter aisles with signage clearly showing Easter items, candy, toys, etc. on clearance. Everything was supposed to be on clearance. I selected five items, and guess what? None of them rang up on clearance. Even the bunnies were still full price. This is two days after Easter. This Target needs new management and considerably more training for their associates. Btw, I saw several employees in the store and not one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. Guess I'll stick to the Target by the mall, which is inconvenient, which means I'll be shopping at Target much less often. read more

The only Target store I will drive 45 min out for! They don't have these mega beauties in Seattle. Its grand scale always has me giddy with what's contained inside. This one is always clean, wide isles - no clashing with stroller mummies, great selection in all it products, you can grocery shop here!! When it comes to taking my money, this place is really good at it and providing fantastic deals! For the most part, well priced clothing for the whole family, tons of toys, a fair amount of holiday related goods, some groceries and an electronics department where you can ignore your kids and play the latest and greatest video games. The 5% card seems like a good deal but they also got hacked not too long ago AND it seems like a good deal til you see Star Wars Battlefront for sale at 69.99! Everywhere else it's 59.99. Target - To Halloween or not to Halloween! - Department Stores Near Me - Richland, Washington

The two stars is for my experience tonight at the Queensgate Target. I'd give it one star for the experience, but two seems fair considering it is basically reviewing a store clerk. I was there at about 6pm and helped on register 8 by a young female clerk. I normally have great experiences at Target but I'm compelled to review the sales associate/cashier that helped me because the service was so terrible. This person really needs more training. She greeted me and asked me if I found everything which I appreciated. From there it went downhill. The cap on my dishwasher detergent was missing at checkout. Normally the standard is to call someone to get a replacement item. She was actually going to send me home with the missing lid and dripping soap and that she could put another bag under it. What the? I told her I would need to get a replacement because I didn't want it spilling in my car. (who does this?) She told me she'd suspend my receipt and I could go get a new one. No problem, I figured I'd be faster than having to call someone up and then get it. I get closer to the register after getting the soap and see the light is now off. I think, ok cool, she's turned the light off so she can finish helping me. No! She was gone. She just left the register, turned it off and left all my groceries in the sack there. Another worker was looking at my things confused and I explained to him that I was told to go get the replacement soap and she'd finish my sale. He finished ringing me up. The original clerk clearly didn't have training in sacking either. She put all four of my egg cartons in one sack and they were turned over in the cart. I had to ask for another bag to properly bag them. Heavy items were put on soft items, like a pickle jar on top of chips. I figure most of these are common sense. She was pretty young and maybe new at her job so I will try and give her the benefit of the doubt on the sacking, but the sending someone off with a defective item that is spilling and just up and leaving in the middle of helping them? Come on now, that is just someone that doesn't care at all. read more

I don't normally rate department stores, but I'll give a plug for this underused and pleasant Target. The parking lot is never full and staff are relaxed (especially when compared to the bumbling behemoth Wal-Mart across the street). You aren't going to find the lowest prices here, but there are frequent discounts in various departments. A side note: I always use the Target pharmacy, rather than the Walmart across the street. The Target pharmacy ALWAYS is clean, professional, and uncrowded, as opposed to Walmart's pharmacy that is dingy, unprofessional, and crowded. Maybe they were just busy, but the Walmart pharmacists mixed up my medication. Boo! (To their slight credit, they were a little apologetic for their error) Regardless, go Target! read more

I really like this store. It is well lit and never feels crowded. It is always clean and organized. The staff is helpful and pleasant.

Some items are less, and some are a tad more expensive. That said with the Red Card the return policy extends the 30 days to 60. (With regard to this review, I am speaking of electronics). Walmart reduced their return policy to 15 days! So for my peace of mind, the time to return, 30 to 60 days depending on how one pays is worth the maybe slightly higher price - or not (I go online to comparison price check.) The return line is short and fast (Walmart - please provide snacks while one waits!) and the customer care is superb (if one finds the right person, but for the most part it's excellent). Mathew, today and other days spent considerable time with me discussing an external hard drive (all the minutia as I had to return one product as it messed up my computer). I was so thankful for his extra time and expert knowledge that I am writing a letter to his upper supervisors (and theirs) to let them know how valuable he is for their customers. As well, I use entirely natural means to health. I find the Dr. Bronners soaps here (no car so near Walmart where I have to shop) and other such items as a big discount. Go figure! In any other city, Target might not take top prize for clothes shopping, but here it is basically, pitifully, the only place I go to shop for clothes. They have a really cute and varied selection. The parking lot is really spacious and I never have problems finding a spot close to the entrance. The store is super clean and well-stocked. A Target RedCard (5% off) is a must! I do wish they provided childcare like they do at Fred Meyer or Ikea. My little fellas do not do well at Target. read more

I have yet to have a positive experience with this pharmacy. They never re-fill on time and only answer questions grudgingly. My favorite was when waiting for a prescription for my 6yo to be released from the hospital... I was told they couldn't magically make it appear. With multiple pharmacies in the area I was able to apply magic and we got it fine from Costco pharmacy. Of course, I would have settled for a phone call stating it was out of stock and would be on a 4 day wait rather than finding out when I was needing to pick it up. This Target store is excellent. I am a frequent customer! Always sparkly clean (including the bathrooms), always fully stocked with the size I need, and friendly customer service. The best thing about this store is the return policy. I recently had a baby shower and had to return several items, most without receipts, and I was given store credit quickly and easily, they didn't even ask for my ID. And the associates who do my returns always are friendly about it--it's no big deal, unlike the *Kennewick* store. Such a calm atmosphere in this store, I know it's weird to write that, but it's true, and it makes the shopping experience so much more pleasant. LOVE this store! read more

I actually should have given them one star! I purchased several items including clothing which came to $200. They failed to put an item in my bag that I paid for. I live 35 minutes away and they won't hold the item more than 24 hours when it was their fault! I am unable to go there again until next week. They try to say they will make it right when I come in but the item may not be there anymore. I just want what I paid for!!! I am really surprised at their poor policy, other big stores would have saved it for me since I already PAID for it! When they make a mistake, it's the customer that loses out! Best Tartget ever!! They have a really great customer service aawareness there, the returns have never been easier, and I enjoy going there. I can get most groceries minus a produce department or deli. I love their clothes for my daughter, and even myself.
