One cashier for the entire store. 4 overcrowded self checkouts are your only viable option, but people are requesting help removing security tags from all their clothing they purchased. So they jam up the line. Target clearly doesnt value our time, so why shop with them? Store is a disorganized mess. Items in wrong places, selection bad or misplaced and picked over. Stock isnt properly displayed, faced, zoned, branded, or organized. OFF-TARGET in every dept. Dont waste your day here. MLK store not much better. read more

The area isn't the greatest with a huge bus stop behind the store. Expect lots of people asking you things or trying to get your attention. Parking is ample since it's a huge lot but the drivers are awful since it's such a used plaza. The inside itself is usually low stock, low organization and sadly customers throw trash everywhere in the aisles. Starbucks cups hiding on shelves. The actual workers are always friendly and make the experience better. read more

The store isn't the cleanest and struggles with organization of the products on the shelf. The most frustrating aspect of the shopping experience at this location was that there were four self checkout kiosks open and a line of people 12 deep. There was only one lane open with a Target Employee who was very kind but that line was long as well. The Target employee was clearly overworked and still remained polite but shame on the manager of this store for running the store so inefficiently. And their prices aren't that cheap to he honest. read more

I'm somewhat of a Target connoisseur. Having lived in the St. Pete area for the last 20 years I lived in FL this was my GO TO store. Great parking, easy access, HUGE and the employees are great. I am remiss for waiting a year to write this review, having been back to FL in February of 2020 and we went to this Target for some items, and lo and behold the same staff I recognized from 3 years ago after I had moved to Portland, OR. THAT speaks volumes as to why the store has 5 star reviews. Clearly the management is great, because they keep the employees. You can't keep employees if they aren't happy. And they don't provide good customer service if they aren't happy. The staff is clearly happy. The store and restrooms are always clean and I have never had a single issue at this store. Thank you for being the best Target I've ever visited. I miss you and wish my local PDX store was this wonderful! read more

A great location for target to be. Came in for bug spray lefts with. Clearance cell phone case, crackers, and toy cars . Of course forgot the big spray. The lady supervising self check out was efficient in keeping the line moving and helping customers when needed. The young lady that serviced me at Starbucks, was busy but aknolowedged my presence and when she was ready to take my order apologised for the wait. Once she made my beverage she offered extra cinnamon. Over all great experience at this target location. read more

This was my go-to Target store when I used to live in the area. They had everything I needed to get me through pregnancy, then having a newborn, infant to toddler. I like the quality of the items and their clothes. Clothes are seasonal but I remember there was a time I liked most of the clothes they had for women but now, notsomuch. It changes often so hope they get a better line. I wish they had better prices which is the ready for the 4 and not 5. For my toddler and I, on this trip I got a dress and shoes for the both of us. Got a hairbrush, gel, toddler tights, overnight pampers for her and it came to about $100 which is too much in my opinion. They also have an overpriced grocery store too. read more

I will never return to this Target EVER!! I'm usually a nice and patient person but this incident made me VERY ANGRY. I think it has been a while I had this bad customer service and made me this angry. When I was ready to check out, they were only two registars open. I went to one of them, and then the lady at the counter told me in a RUDE way that the registar was going to close right before me and to go to the other one. So I was already kind of irritated. She wanted to go home that bad then she could have turned off the sign and called for backup. So I went to the other line just to wait even longer, and now I see the rude lady taking other customers after she sent me to the other one!!! At this point, I was like WTF!!!???? So after I checked out, I went up to her and asked her for the maneger. Initially she said "A what??" and I said "the manager" again. As soon as she heard me right, she started sucking up to me, because she knew damn well what she did to me was wrong!! Her name is Llynda. There's nothing that really stands out about this specific target. I can't say I've had any bad experiences, but I can't say this one is a "go to" for any reason. The people working there have been pleasant for the most part, the merchandise seems to be fairly well maintained, and overall it's a good store. The one thing that gets me is the plaza it's in. I swear, whoever designed it needs to be fired. The parking lot can be the biggest mess ever. I would probably add a star if it wasn't for the headache I get any time I need to come here. read more

I slipped and fell on 07/16/2018 because a family dropped water on a high polished floor with aggravated injury and co-pays. Andrew Reed an insurance adjuster says #2064 isn't responsible because no one was notified that someone had spilled a liquid on the floor causing my injury before it was cleaned up by a employee. As far as Super Targets go, this one is really good. It's located on the corner of a busy intersection with lots of shops and dining options around it. My favorites are Chick Fil A, BJs brew house and chipotle. This Target is a super one, meaning you can get your full shopping, including grocery done in one stop. This is one of the largest Target stores I have been in - they had a ton of home decor options I hadn't seen at my smaller store, a great dorm selection, a large personal care section, & tons of clothes. I struggled to find a rain coat & rain boots here, actually gave up on finding them & just moved on to the rest of my list, & found nearly everything I needed. If I didn't find exactly what I was looking for - in this case a bin to hold recyclables in - they had other options that worked well - a plastic cube that fits on top of my wardrobe in my dorm was what I went with. My boyfriend also needed a new lamp shade & we found so many more here at Target than we had seen at Bed Bath & Beyond, HomeGoods, or Walmart. Overall there's so much to browse here that it was a great experience, but I'm still a little bummed at the lack of rain gear since it's that time of year when we have showers every afternoon it seems. read more

I had a pretty bad experience here a couple of weeks ago due to large crowds I'd say avoid on weekends at all costs. I've been trying not to go to this one even though it's super close... but I have to say today changed my mind. I ran out to target for no reason (as one does).. I was having a bad afternoon and picked up a few things to head to self check out as I wanted to avoid Human contact. as I was checking out, I was taking a second too long on the machine and the person manning the self check out this short, pink-haired, kind employee came up to me.. i was afraid they might tell me to hurry or something but they simply smiled very kindly at me and asked me how my day has been. Just a simple question and gesture but it was almost as if they knew I was having a rough afternoon and that was why I went to target. Not sure why I am writing this in the parking lot.. maybe so they might get some sort of recognition for customer service? This target is so clean and organized. I've never seen one so clean. They always seem to have product in stock and the full grocery section is really nice. So much easier for running errands! The reason for the 4 stars is that in my experience, if you have a question for a staff member you're kind of on your own. They don't seem to know anything about the store they work in. This Target is one of the more conveniently located Targets in the area. Right of US19 and Gandy, it often fits into my route. This was one of the two Targets I regularly frequented when living in St. Pete (I just recently moved to Tampa). The other Target was on Park and Tyrone. I have to admit, I liked this Target a bit better, but it is difficult to put my thumb on the exact reason why. First, I recall the staff at the Park/Tyrone Target is a bit better. Why? Well cleaner, first, and also a bit friendlier. And now that I think about it a bit harder, that is why I liked this one better. No not because the staff was less clean, but because they seemed to be stocked better. Possibly it was because the lesser staff. But I am not really looking for good customer service when I go to Target, I am just hoping for not completely terrible customer service. One time here, it was near terrible, I had to wait quite some time to return something, there was just no one at the return counter. I eventually gave up, did my shopping, and came back to the return counter before checking out. But to be honest, the real reason this Target is probably stocked better is that it is not right next to the Tyrone Mall. People are out and about shopping at Tyrone and then get a little extra shopping done at Target, before or after, who knows. Another nice thing about this Target is that there is a Michaels in the same parking lot. No I don't love Michaels, but I can always get brownie points when we pull into the parking lot and I say to my scrapbooking fanatic fiancee, "want to stop by Michaels?!" OF COURSE SHE DOES. I love hearing, "Your the best!!!!" There is also a Michaels by Tyrone, but that one is up 66th Street, heading away from Target. So to top off this Bulls-Eye review. This Target has a Starbucks. I really think that is necessary. I have also purchased stale marshmallows on one occasion. I learned my lesson, CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES PEOPLE!!! I did not, and suffered the consequences. But that was only one occasion of the probably 100 or so times I have been here, expired food happens everywhere (well maybe not Publix, because they are the bomb!!!) Nevertheless, convenient location, staff is not incompetent, good selection, and good prices (great prices if you use the Red Card, I love seeing my yearly savings total) ...what else do you need to know. The small, young Asian-American male cashier was too preoccupied with clipping odd dangly chicken products to his earrings. I kid you not, as weird as this sounds.....He wasn't wearing a nametag, and it was super weird. We went to his lane because the light was on, but he was socializing with some randoms near jewelry, and I had to go ask, even though he saw us unloading our cart. He wasn't even really wearing the normal red shirt uniform so I was super confused when he went behind the counter, and it was just a weird interaction. I'm sad to write this at such a joyous time of the year.a I prefer to frequent one retailer more then multiple. I have a family of 6 so we visit our local Target a few times a week. I was so disgusted when we made a trip this weekend a few last minute Christmas present and a few groceries. The store was so dirty and in disappointing. We couldn't find the normal item we purchase. They were moved on do to us needing more room for Hong Christmas supplies. My wife asked an associated c to help us. We were greeted by Raphael a Gentleman that asked if he could help us. He was very nice but so hard to understand. He has a very strong foreign accent. We were looking for plates and forks and so on for our Christmas dinner. He escorted us to the camping area. We were surprised. He said here and waked away. We didn't see what we needed in the camping supplies. I chased him down and once again asked where the napkins,plates and plastic utensils would be. He said I hate the holidays so many people is makes my job bad. What? Bad? Yes all you people complaining you can't find stuff. I was blown away. And he's the store manager. Or so he said he was. I asked to speak to his boss. He said I am the boss. The thing that upset me the most was he kept staring at my wife's figure. When I asked him to stop and be respectful he said your wife is very pretty. I can't believe you employee such incompetent, rude and harassing employee. We will be contacting the corporate office also. My wife shouldn't have been looked in this manner his eyes couldn't leave her chest. So sad at this time of year that your employee's hate Christmas . I love target and I love shopping at target. But today, I was VERY unsatisfied! I bought a chocolate pen toy for my daughters birthday. When I got it home to wrap it I notice the top seal was broken. Upon further inspection I found that all the chocolate pouches, molds and pen tips had been opened, used, placed back into clear zip lock bags and then placed back into the box! Yuck! That is absolutely disgusting! Doesn't Target inspect items returned before putting them back on the floor for resale? Clearly not! Clearly no one cares enough to pay attention to what they are doing. Or I would have had a brand new toy for my daughter tomorrow. Now I have to scramble to return the item and get something new. This is very frustration and time consuming. I am not a happy customer right now. read more

This Target is crazy busy. And because of that, service suffers. They have plenty of registers but it seems they never have enough cashiers, even during peak times. And because it's so busy, the parking lot is packed and the store doesn't always feel organized and clean. Otherwise, this Target is a Super Target, so you can do all your grocery shopping here and you can even buy a latte at Starbucks. Pretty good Target, just wish it could be less crowded. read more

This is my main Target and I love it. They have some products that not all Target's carry (like ELF Cosmetics). They also have a Starbucks inside which is convenient. If you sign up for the Target debit card (it only took me 5 minutes to sign up and it is free) then you will get 5% off all transactions using the card. This review is for Starbucks inside this Target since I can't find a specific yelp page for the Starbucks. This experience was on November 25th, Black Friday. Experience was pleasant until it came time to put cream into my coffee, at 8:45pm they no longer keep the creamer out for customers, no problem. Asked the employee cleaning the sugar station and her response was "we don't have it out here, it's too late in the night go ask the girl in the front". Like I get it, your cleaning but stop being lazy and help your customers. So while we are waiting for our creamer because lazy couldn't be bothered, a women comes up to complain about the service she received. She spoke with the person who took our order who stated that she was the front end manager and although I didn't here what she was complaining about it was pretty clear it was about the rude barista. The rude, lazy barista storms over behind the counter and doesn't acknowledge our presence so I politely ask for cream. She then continues to angrily pour cream into my coffee until it was legitimately WHITE. Whatever. Disgusting but at this point we just want to leave with our cream with a little bit of coffee in it. As we are leaving she begins to complain about the women who spoke to her manager. She was saying "excuse me ma'am but I worked until 11 last night and then had to be here at 3am and am closing tonight". The manager was laughing with her about it. The entire thing was extremely unprofessional and a bit of advice for the young barista... if you are going to continue to work in customer service you're going to have to learn how to put on a smile and suck it up buttercup. The women who complained and myself who didn't bother to speak to your manager aren't the reason you had to work so many hours, pretty sure you applied for that job. If you don't like it, I suggest you find a job that doesn't involve working with people. read more

This "super" Target location is nestled in a plaza next to a Home Depot, Marshall's, Office Depot, Dollar Store, American Signature Furniture, and many other shops including a movie theater. There are 13 handicap parking spots right directly in front of the store. Inside the target there is a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut. I found the store to be fairly clean....excluding the bathroom that needed a scrub down. I also didn't understand why the "feminine" product machine had tape holding it together....just does not send the right message. Inside I found the store well stocked_including the toy isles. I did not inspect any of the fresh fruit so I cannot comment on the freshness. Not do I use the pharmacy. All in all here is my breakdown Pros: Fairly clean, not too many people inside, well stocked Cons: Bathroom needed cleaning , only 2 open checkout lines. While the south Tampa location is very close to my house.....I will keep this location in mind for future target visits.... read more

This is my second favorite Target in the area after the Clearwater Mall location. Nothing really stands out, but it's a large(r) store so it carries a good selection. Plus, it has a Starbucks which the other nearby Target on 9th St. is missing. The only negative is that the men's bathroom is always dirty and smells terrible. read more

I have three Targets about the same distance away from me, but I choose this location. The shopping center has a Marshall's, movie theater, BJ's restaurant and fast food chains that are all convenient. I like the selection this Target carries, especially in the grocery section. I find they have selections other local grocery stores don't have and often times the prices are cheaper here. When I'm looking for particular items from the website, this location seems to have the most available stock in store. read more

This has to be the worst Target store that I've been in. So disorganized. Cashiers can't ring up a single customer without stopping everything to get a manager's help who are equally clueless. I heard two supervisors in the store who had to be directed to where to find certain items...IN THEIR OWN STORE! My cashier didn't feel she needed to bag anything. Lazy! Also cashiers would open and close their lanes on a whim. I had to change check-out aisles 3 times! This will be my last trip to this trashy looking Target which had so many cardboard boxes in the way in the aisles that it looked like a Walmart.
