I kinda want to sue. Target's okay. But beware of the vision folks. To me, they have some very shady folks inside the Eyewear department, who mislead customers. My son went inside with his insurance information, and was told they accept it, knowing full well they are out of network. They called me to verify information, and I thought it was odd, i've never had issues with my insurance. I provided my info, told them to call me right back if there are any issues. They told my son, all clear no issues, when he came in for contacts. Afterwards, they were having system issues, and the insurance "mysteriously" didn't go through. So, since he was on the spot, he paid about $150 out of pocket, which defeated the whole purpose of having insurance, but told him he'd "probably get reimbursed." They wrote him an "extra prescription for just in case for glasses." Why, perhaps bill the insurance behind the scenes for it? He came in for contacts. But, as a parent, I pay attention. What is this on the receipt? Why did they make you pay out of pocket? Why did they charge you for glasses? I called corporate to file a complaint. Why would anyone in their right mind not want to use their insurance where your co-pay is only $10 and instead want to pay you $150? Doesn't that sound crazy? I asked for a full refund. The doctor said he wanted to make sure he's whole, and refused. He refunded $65. Kept the rest to make sure he was whole. Didn't even give my son his prescription for his contacts, which he came in for. And, paid for. So, what should i do sue? Should I let everyone know? Well....beware. read more

They won't except manufacturers coupons! Cause me to hold up the line because they couldn't figure out how to put in a coupon that was for more then the amount of the product so they refused the coupon! The coupon was for $24.99 and the item I was going to get was only $14.79 but because they couldn't figure it out and their manager didn't want to override it they refused it all together! read more

Employees steal your stuff! Every time I shop here, there's always an item or two missing when I get home. This last time I bought 5 cat food cans but when I got home only had 4. Before that I had stuff go missing too. You have to watch the cashier closely and watch them bag because they will steal your stuff. Also the manager is a condescending d-bag. I bought an item that was advertised as on sale but none of the discounts showed up on the register. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he treated me like I was lying and a thief. Had employees go to the aisle to verify what I said even though the ad was in front of him that verified what I said. I ended up getting overcharged regardless. The employees are also very loud and lazy. Instead of restocking, they are goofing off and laughing. Very unprofessional. The positive is that the store is clean and has lots of stuff. read more

The prescription counter at this target is the absolute worse, their staff is rude and unhelpful. They made a mistake and turned me away telling me to fix it myself. thanks for canceling my prescription that still had 5 refills. now i have to go back to my doctor to get another prescription. read more

A beautiful store, with very nice employees. I've just moved to the area and was looking forward to my first visit to the new store. Unfortunately, I've never failed to be disappointed at the selection of Women's Clothing - Plus sizes in any of the Target Stores in which I've shop throughout Southern California. Every Target I have ever visited has the same problem in my opinion. They have a very poor selection of clothing for larger women! I feel Target is really missing the boat and the opportunity to take advantage of the sales possibilities. Simply because there are some of us who are larger in stature than others, we often times have problems convincing store buyers that we too wish to be dressed well with some of the nicer more up-to-date styles! Many larger women also have the "buying capacity" and the disposable income with which to purchase items. I certainly hope Target will reconsider the situation and develop a new, larger, nicer selection for a new improved "Women's Plus Size Department. Thanks, Sandra J. read more

So this review isn't about Target but the Starbucks INSIDE Target. I went with my sister to get some drinks on this hot day. I know it's a good thing to be nice to your customers and all but the lady who was working the cash register took too long and had a full conversation with this one lady who was before me. Apparently she worked at Target to and she asked where she was on a specific day and what area she is working today and who did her nails. Seriously...? THEN once I was able to order my drinks, the lady who was making them apparently had her boyfriend or a guy she liked walk up to her and asked for an oatmeal and she stopped every single that she was doing (which was making my drinks) and she made him the oatmeal and then stood there and flirted with him NOT making my drinks. My sister and I waited 25 mins, I timed it. It's annoying. The drinks that she did make were all melted and watery. Very negative experience. read more

Nirvana! Even the way it smells! Seriously this is a great place. They have a Starbucks and an optometrist as well on premises. Their groceries are great, lots of organic stuff. I do recommend waiting for clearance on their clothing, toys, make up, gift ware and housewares. They go REALLY LOW on clearance (example cute little doggie insulated lunch bag for my son regular price $16, on clearance three weeks after I first saw it for $3.49). Very clean, most checkers are pleasant. read more

I keep giving this store a chance but it continues to get worse as time goes by. Employees are not properly trained to deal with coupons. People, they're just coupons! It's not that serious! They read every single coupon word for word before scanning it. And even then, they aren't trained correctly! If a coupon says "one per purchase of item stated, limit to 4 identical coupons per transaction" that means you can use 4 of the same coupon. But they are trained to just accept one. But that's not the worse part. They told me they don't and have never accepted printed coupons which is a lie. Cashiers are rude as soon as I pull out my 25 cent coupon just because it's a coupon. Then call management over which is not helpful at all. Just to tell me that lie. His name is Mike. He himself in the past rung me up with printed coupons and when I mentioned it, he laughed in my face and said "I have never rung you up." Sir, I clearly remember the lane & you. There is no other man in that front end short, bald, with a red beard. Try again. I would understand if I had fraudulent coupons but were talking about cents off a $5+ item! The top manager tried his best to fix my situation after all said and done but I always find issues in this store. Even just using WIC I've encountered issues. I finally learned my lesson and will NEVER go back to this store again. read more

Came in for a rotisserie chicken and they had nothing. Had a sign up for "guaranteed in stock" from 4-7pm for rotisserie chicken or a coupon for a free chicken. After waiting 10 minutes to see if someone could make a chicken, I waited another 10 for the coupon. They had neither. No apology. Not overly impressed with this target the employees and customers are very rude every time I have shopped here. Its going to take a long time before I walk in this one again the only nice thing I can say about this store is its clean. Its always clean here and staff is always friendly. Its worth spending a few more extra bucks then having to go to east side Walmart. The only negative i have to say is the food area where you eat is sometimes dirty but other than that its great. read more

This is by far the best and cleanest super center to shop at. Other places are poorly staffed, and generally messy with ridiculously long lines(Wal-Mart I'm looking at you). The staff is always helpful and nice. I highly recommend their Target card for a 5% discount on all purchases. It comes in very handy on those expensive shopping trips. Pricing on most items are usually very competitive. The home decor and furniture is pretty nice too. I hope they open more of these Super Targets in the AV. The last thing we need are more crappy Wal-Marts out here.... read more

I love this target but recently there has been new workers and these lady workers are always standing and just talking literally 3 to 4 workers in one isle standing and talking. And I was just there the cart because they were "stocking product" was in front of the pasta section and some lady asked politely if they can move it and they moved it and the worker rolled her eyes at her when she turned her back. I love Target ! And I always come to this one since it's the closest one to me. I went there last week and I purchased a box of Oatmeal Raisin Cliff Bars 6pck . I didn't realize until days later that the bars had expired in July of 2014, almost 8 months ago!! I went to the customer service area and I let the girl behind the counter know . I didn't get her name but I thought her customer service was rude. She didn't smile at me at all and when I told her that the bars were expired she didn't apologize or anything. She gave me a blank face and asked for my ID or Card if I used one. I know it's not her fault but I work with customers as well and whenever anyone at a different department makes a mistake I apologize because we're all working for the same company and I want that customer to come back. Saying "I'm sorry, I'll let that department know to have the rest of the Cliff Bars checked" would've of been a great answer ! But nope she handed me my money and that was it not even a Thank You, a smile, or even have a nice day. Like I said I love Target , and this isn't going to make me stop shopping there but I'll definitely be avoiding her if she's ever at the customer service area or at the register. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this store. It is clean, has great prices, but. . . they are TERRIBLE at checking their dates for things especially in the dairy dept. Milk, yogurt, eggs are routinely a month or more out of date. I bought some yogurt and when I got home took a bite of one and it was rotten, checked the date on it, it wasn't just a little out of date, it was 4 months out of date! When we returned the other 3 yogurts the girl asked why and my husband told her. She then asked where was the 4th yogurt. My husband said with threw it in the trash it was rotten! No shock, no I am sorry. We always try to check the dates. They also need to make sure they have more registers open at prime shopping times. Very few of the checkers can bag things right. read more

Have enjoyed my shopping experience here always, sometimes im so bummed that they might not sell something here but at walmart they do, which is worse, walmart is just to ghetto for me. But overall have had a great buying and returning experience here. Quicker lines and less ghetto here. Id rather spend the extra money here to have a more comfortable shopping experience. read more

Came to target and for the first time I am not pleased with their holiday sales. Tried to get a footie pajama were clearly the sign said "30% off pajamas or slippers". Turns out when I went to go pay for the footie pajama it unfortunately wasn't a 30% off only the slippers so I was sent to the costumer service and I was told by the rude female manager that it wasn't 30% off and that the "footie pajamas" weren't considered pajamas so therefore they weren't 30% off. To top it off the so called "holiday slippers" aren't even considered holiday slippers,very disappointed. read more
