Who doesn't love a great Target? This Target location is as great as others with variety, selection, options and plentiful shelves. I've never met a Target that I didn't like! I like this location because most of the staff are young and very kind. I love to see young people doing positive things. Target has a great practice of hiring energetic young staff members. I love the diverse business items that they carry to support all cultures. You'll always find a variety w the apparel, beauty items, etc while shopping. I also like the ease of being able the order my Target items online and pick up in store. Individuals w the app can order through the app and get curbside service. Pretty awesome aye? My only issue w Target is their lack of cleanliness in the lavatory. I've visited several times throughout the years and it's always a disappointment. ... that's all I got. read more

Target needs to train their employees with learning how to package any shipment overseas pertaining to anything especially fragile. I received 3 bottles of prenatals after waiting for 2-3 months and whoever shipped it from OWINGS MILLS MD TARGET lacks any training because all 2 glasses came shattered and was not salvageable. I spoke to live agents through the Target app and Ryan has refunded me for 1 bottle of the prenatals while 2 have been returned... still charging me for something that I could not take because of lack of training and negligence on company procedures. If you're going to hire people to represent your company as least train them on how to package a glass item when shipping it across the country. I no longer want to support Target and I want to spread the word that others shouldn't support Target Corporation because I requested for a full refund and only got partial... whereas my full refund was granted per via chat Live agent which also has been recorded and documented through their system. If you trained your employees right then none of this would of happened and a very pregnant woman would not be wasting her time writing a review on the better business bureau website. If I could leave 0 stars for this company's lack of awareness and care I would. read more

Love target. Hate this location. It's giving Walmart. Last time I went in, all registers were closed and everyone had to self check out. I did drive up today and they shut that off and it was in store pick up only. I'll definitely stick to my pikesville location going forward. read more

I really used to love this store but every time I go in there it's just worse. They're not cleaning the bathrooms they're not picking up trash they're not picking up merchandise on the floor and some of them pretty big boxes somebody can trip over. I am so surprised that somebody has not sued them. I'm complained to the supervisor that doesn't mean anything they don't put hand sanitizer in there it's just really nasty sometimes. Just go to another one cuz this one is disgusting!!! read more

My boyfriend went to this Target location to buy a phone cord. All the electronics were locked up, so he looked for an employee to help him. He couldn't find any employees, so he finally used the call button. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to respond. When an employee did arrive, they didn't know how to open the locked case or how to find someone who could open it. That employee told my boyfriend to wait, first while completing an unrelated task for several minutes, then while he went in search of someone to unlock the case. He never returned. After waiting, my boyfriend eventually pressed the button again and had the same experience with a different employee! That employee tried using his walkie talkie to get help, but no one responded. He went to look for someone to help but never returned. Next, my boyfriend found an employee in another section of the store and asked for his help. That person said he didn't work there, despite wearing a target shirt and name badge. My boyfriend even saw that person stocking shelves later. Again, my boyfriend used the call button. No one answered. After more than half an hour of trying to get this phone cord, he gave up and left. The workforce there seems unsupervised, under-trained, under-staffed, and totally unmotivated to help. I had only a short window of time to see my boyfriend today, so I feel sad and frustrated that Target took up a chunk of time we could have spent together. read more

I could be here all day saying how much I love target.. I'm in there a minimum of twice a week and get items delivered thru Shipt. They're quick to fix any issues, whether is over the phone or chat. They usually have most things I need in store but if they don't shipping is pretty quick. They really make you feel like you're saving with the red card and other deals but to me that could be hit and miss. read more

Name a person who goes into Target and actually get what they ran into Target to get? I'll wait. Target is my happy place and guilty pleasure. I almost never go in and get the item I need. Something is always shiny and on sale. This location in particular is my favorite I just wish they had a Starbucks inside. The shelves are always stocked and the lines are usually fully staffed. Parking is pretty good as well. Since the pandemic, I made good use of the Target Circle Rewards App. I can change to same day delivery, drive up, or pick up in a matter of seconds. Did I mentioned the shelves are always stocked! I can always find what I'm looking for plus more. Target is a one stop shop. From Beauty products to grocery. Honestly, I prefer to shop the target brands oppose to the name brand. The staff are also very accommodating with returns and exchanges read more

So I'm ‍ through Target just to get 2 things and I come across this mannequin with cutest shirt on that says "Embrace Your Roots". The gold color caught my eye first and then the message. I at the next and it was a little girls t-shirt dress with peace signs in different shades of brown with the message "Beauty in Every Shade". I walked further in and there's a whole collection of Black History shirts and hoodies for babies onesies to adult hoodies and shirts This excitement ran through my body because somebody finally sees us and nailed it Kudos to , the line is slick and quickly selling out. This review is long overdue. Pre-Covid the team here was friendly, rather in store or curbside. Is it perfect 100% of the time? Absolutely not, but nothing is. Sometimes they don't have the items I need at the moment but a few days later it's usually back in stock. Bottom line is I like this location and will continue to support them. read more

You can tell this Target isn't looked after properly. Lots of chaotic aisles. Don't want to think about why the milk aisle smells like pee. As far as the lone cashier scrolling on their phone due to no customers, how about wiping down the dirty scan areas in the self serve that are a few steps away? Target ain't paying you to be on your phone. Thanks for the reminder why I live down the street and only come here once every 3 years. Sad. read more

I would like to say huge thanks to whoever invented the shopping app for Target. What a brilliant idea. I don't think I have spent so much time on a grocery store app as much as I have with Target. All you have to do is place your order and it will be ready in 2-4 hrs depending on what you are picking up and then you have the option to walk into the store or they bring it out to you. The employees are so efficient and pretty fast. Plus target has a rewards program and it has helped a lot! Try it it's so awesome! Go Target go!!! read more

From the moment my husband and I walked through the doors of the Reisterstown Target until we left, we were greeted by friendly faces and warm smiles. Happy employees, it appeared AND happy customers. Two very friendly, actually comical employees, in particular, Shea and Shaki , back at the dressing rooms were practically whistling while they worked. Not quite. But, you could tell the 2 women enjoyed their jobs and the customers. Very professional, very friendly. They represent Target very well. read more

I am a target fan, today I thought I spotted a cant pass deal, however when I reached the register I realized the brand of wallet I wanted was not 30% off. This Target location is constantly adding new items on a daily basis, it seems. In the past two years they have expanded by adding a grocery section which is located in the back of the store. The aisles keep filling up and Target offers fruits, dairy, pastas, lunch meats, etc...it's a mini market. There is a small cafe that has fountain drinks, slurpees, popcorn, hot dogs, personal pizzas, nachos and cheese, small flatbread sandwiches, pretzels and a few other items. I've had the chicken and spinach flatbread combo for about $3 including the soda and it's enjoyable, I wish they sold it in the grocery section so I can make those at home. Of course, everyone knows of Target for their pharmacy, clothes, shoes, accessories, beauty care products, household items and toys. I'm waiting for them to change the durn sign already and fully be Super Target. read more

Target - Pretzel with Mango Smoothie! - Department Stores Near Me - Owings Mills, Maryland

This location is my local Target location so I'm in and out of here more than a little bit. I love Target and this location rarely if ever disappoints. I use the Target app faithfully before going or while I'm en route to check and see if the items I'm going for are in stock at this location AND more importantly if there is a coupon/discount for it under Target Circle Offers. This location is always clean and organized and I only recently paid attention to the amount & variety in their grocery section, it was during the height of COVID and I wanted to just go to one store and Target was it, I was surprised that they sold almost every item on my shopping list on that particular day and I was majorly impressed with their fresh produce section. I've also used the site-to-store option when an item wasn't in the store but online and had it shipped to store, that too was a very seamless process and my item arrived at the store earlier than projected. I have not tried the curbside delivery service coined as DRIVE-UP delivery yet but my BFF was very satisfied with her experience. So yeah, this location rocks with its vast selection and multiple ways to shop, it's always a win-win!! read more

This target sucks and the new remodeling makes it even worse. The new remodeling is horrible and makes the store look even more confusing. Store looked better in previous layout. Won't be shopping here. With the ugly crappy remodel of store, it's even harder and more challenging to find what stuff you need. Close down this target if your not gonna change back to the better previous layout. And they got rid of the cafe which makes this target even worse. At this target location, they would sell the xhilaration and mossimo supply co brands, ever since the remodel, I barely saw those brands in clothing section, saw new crappy brand "wild fable". And ever since remodel, they sell even more uglier clothes at this target in juniors section. The whole store looks a crappy mess with remodel. The beauty section looks confusing and mess too. So confusing and hard to find products. Barely anyone to ask for help at the self checkouts if machine stops working, worst customer service at this target, lazy, unprofessional, rude workers here and they don't care to help or if you need help finding something, extremely slow customer service too. This remodel truly looks horrible and confusing honestly. read more

It's Target. You always find things you don't need. This is the place I go when I have "developing ideas"....meaning a new recipe, a new home project, a new outfit, anything new. I go in with a list of three items and leave out with three bags. Don't judge me! You know you've done it too. You can keep Walmart! Give me a Target any day. I don't think this is the best Target, but it's my Target. It's close, convenient, and usually always fully stocked. Tons of baby deals, among other deals. Target - The front of the store - Department Stores Near Me - Owings Mills, Maryland

It's Target.... I usually end up here a lot because I hate the Owings Mills Wal Mart with a passion. I love the Mossimo skinny jeans for women. They are basically the only jeans I ever wear. Since the remodel, I have noticed the variety of available products in the pet section isn't the best. However, I do spend a lot of money in this store. I do want to say, there is one thing that bothered me today. I am a female and today I decided to check out Target for a couple of new bras. Does a male security guard REALLY need to be staring at customers in that section? I get that we live in a crazy world but it made me feel really uncomfortable. Not uncomfortable enough to never return, but in the future I may decide to go somewhere else when I'm shopping for something so personal and intimate. Also, customer service could be better. Some days are better then others. Today my cashier was wonderful. However, last week a cashier had her light on and as soon as I got in line, she told me in a nasty tone, "I'm closed, pick another line!"I responded that she needed to switch off her light if she's done taking customers. She obviously forgot to turn off her light and didn't realize it was still on. A lot of times, I feel like the staff would rather gossip with each other then help the customers. There are some good staff members but the ones with an attitude that just want to be lazy should go work at Walmart instead! read more

I gave it one star because everyone was wearing a mask, they also provide a mask if you forget yours. However I had a bad experience around the holidays. I picked up 2 items, when I got to the register I pulled out my Home Depot card instead of my debit card. The young lady at the register said don't worry I'll just keep your things here. I went out to may car, grabbed my debit card, went back into the store went to the same register. The young lady had my things but she would not help me. She gave me a receipt and said scan it at the self checkout, I went to the self checkout and the young man there said self checkout only accepts cash (which does not make sense). I went to the customer service and the young lady there seem to be busy ( there was no line at Customer Service) so the young man at self checkout helped, however he was so irritated I felt uncomfortable and somewhat humiliated. The only reason I stayed and made my purchase was because one of the items was a star for my Christmas tree, stars were hard to find at that time. I will not go back to the Owings Mills Target, that was the worst experience, I still feel bad till this day. read more

Although I have faced discrimination in the past and know that my battles with it is far from over, I never expected to be discriminated against in my local Owings Mills, MD Target. On 6/16/2019 at approximately 11:00am my girlfriend and I, who are proud African Americans, stopped in the Owings Mills, MD Target which I frequent regularly. I have made many high dollar purchases in this store before and have always had a great customer experience and thought today would be no different. The purpose of my visit was to purchase a Bluetooth portable radio. The item was located in the electronics section within a locked case. I flagged down an associate who called Cory and informed me that he would be helping me retrieve the item. Cory greeted us and we did the same. I informed Cory that I wanted to purchase the black JBL Bluetooth portable radio which was listed at $74.99. I also stated that I would like to look at some of the specifications on the radio prior to purchasing it. Cory, who was standing less than two feet away from me, did not respond to my request to see the specifications. After Cory removed the item, he held onto it. I motioned to him that I wanted to see it and he stated, "I can't let you hold it." When I asked why he stated it was policy and if I wanted to know the specifications, he would read them to me. I immediately became upset because I have purchased an external hard drive from this same target and the associated simply opened the case and handed me the external hard drive which was more than $100. I asked Cory to see a manager immediately and again asked him to see the item. Cory again stated that I couldn't even touch the item. Denise, the manager, arrived shortly after my request. After Cory explained his side of the situation to Denise, I asked her what's the "store's written policy" on items located in the locked case and is it true that customers can't even touch the products until they pay for it. Denise stated, "Yes and No." "Associates can use their discretion and decide if they want to let customers see the item." So, I again asked her for a written policy and she stated that they did not have one. So, to a reasonable and prudent person that means Target associates make a conscious decision based on the customer's appearance/color of their skin/demeanor etc. I informed her that I felt like it was only because I was a black man I was not allowed to HOLD the item that I was going to purchase to look at the specifications. Of course, she disagreed so I asked her again about a written policy and to my surprise Denise stated that there was not one and said that "different Targets have different policies regarding locked items." So essential she told me that they are allowed to profile customers and have the right to make up polices as they see fit. I had to inform Denise, a Caucasian woman, that she had no idea what it felt like for someone to prejudge you and discriminate against you because the color of your skin and it is a terrible feeling. It's 2019 Target and the fact that your Owings Mills, Maryland location is practicing racism and discrimination is sad. I'm sure if I was a Caucasian man in a suit who requested to see the Bluetooth speaker, Cory would have had no problem handing it over. I am a Marine Corps veteran and I work for the Department of Homeland Security and I have experienced this kind of discrimination before, but would have never thought I would have experienced it at Target in Owings Mills, Maryland. This is sad and there is no doubt that Cory discriminated against me and your manager supports this policy of discrimination because she stated there was no written policy which states customers can't "TOUCH" the item until they pay. I will never shop at this location again and I demand an investigation, punishment for both associates who were racist and prejudice and proof of sensitivity training for your associates. Your Owings Mills location supports the hate that is infested within this nation and that is repulsive. read more

Target used to be a great place to get groceries, but I have seen the prices so high that it makes me think I am at Giant. Plus the cashiers love to overcharge for things you don't buy. I maybe going to Walmart from now on.. Sad because I used to spend over 5000.00 a month at Target. read more

This is the 2nd time I've shopped at this Target and the employees are horrible, literally every single one was walking around with a pissed off look on their face like they hate their job. I attempted to smile at 2 when I entered they looked at me with daggers in their eyes and turned the other way. As I'm going thru an isle I tried to slide by an employee said excuse me politely and received a sigh and huff and puff for having to move a few inches forward. It's crazy before I left this review I read so many negative review from several years ago and they still have nasty employees working for them. They need to clean house starting with management since they are the ones hiring them. I know for a fact when they see a customer which they are suppose to call them guest in their store they are to ask them if they need help finding anything. Proper training apparently isn't being done. My husband worked at the Target in Towson for almost a year and that was the best customer service at that location I've seen in a long time. Kudos to management at Towson Target. Does this Target not do proper screening or training, seems to me you hire them and just say here stock these shelves ect. These big companies wonder why the general public is starting to shop online because we are tired of encountering nasty bad attitude employees who can ruin anyone's good vibe. Doesn't matter what any of us post on these reviews nothing will be done about this poor customer service. But maybe I can give the next person a heads up not to enter this establishment unless you want to be given dirty looks and get attitudes from employees when they're suppose to be doing their job. Corporate you need to do something about this location. read more

Generally speaking, I have no problem with this Target. Is it the best Target ever? No, not by a long shot. Some departments are lacking a little bit, it's not as big or well stocked as some other Targets, and sometimes the customer service can be a little spotty. But on the flip side there are some associates who are really great, and I still rarely ever walk out empty handed. Depending on your m.o. it's going to be a really hit or miss experience. This review is because I went yesterday during my lunch break and realized that I was almost out of time. Hungry and not in the mood for something like a Lean Cuisine, I went to the Target Café, as I have done before a few times, which is still a few times too many. The young man who works behind the counter there is always so nice, so this is definitely not a reflection of him. But the food there is just not good. I always eat it against my better judgment. Yesterday I ordered a soft pretzel, which actually wasn't very soft, though I'm not sure it was because it was old and previously freezer burnt or if it was overcooked. The cashier asked if I wanted any dipping sauce like cheese, so I said sure (thinking of Auntie Anne's). They handed me something that looked like a yogurt but was nacho cheese. I was hesitant but peeled off the lid and ate it anyway. 3 hours later I felt so sick, and I ended up being sick all evening. I don't know that I had food poisoning because I was only sick for the evening, but that was still one night too many. I don't know what else it could have been because that pretzel and cheese dip was literally the only thing I ate. So definitely proceed with caution. If you can go somewhere else to get food, don't make the mistake that I did. And I would under no circumstances recommend the nacho cheese dip. I should have listened to the little voice in my head. read more
