Why three stars. Because target allows animals in their stores without inquiring if it is a service dog. When I asked they said it's their policy to not ask a guest for credentials to show its a service dog. Don't get me wrong I'm all for service dogs and animals. But come on target grow some and lay down the line. I'm waiting for the day when one of those fake service dogs bites a guest. Can you say lawsuit? Just the thought of an untrained dog in there peeing or licking things is gross. One target had two bums bring in a smelly old filthy dog in. The dog peed and crapped all over the store. I like Target, this location is a lil busy for me I prefer the oviedo store with half the traffic but this one is convienant if your in the waterford area. It's also open late til midnight however the Starbucks and food court closes earlier. Unless it is an absolute emergency DO NOT use the bathrooms! The worst, dirtiest bathroom in the chain store game! You'll have to take my word for it pictures would've of been puke worthy. I've been to this location numerous times and it is a problem. I called and asked about L'Oreal products prices yesterday before I went to Waterford Lake Super Target this morning. I have been told they can do price match with Target.com and I can still get a $5 gift card after purchasing 3 L'Oreal items, and today is the last day for this promotion. That's the only reason I got up so early and drove 20 miles through high way 417 rushed there in stead of going to just 2 miles away Super Walmart. One of their regular employees Alyssa helped me made a payment at the customer service center, she treated me very nicely, checked every single item price on Target.com and gave me a $5 gift card after I bought 4 L'Oreal items. Then when my friend asked me to buy some for her, I got 3 more L'Oreal and went back to the same customer service center tried to pay for it. But this time Alyssa went for a break, Alex was there and trying to do the same for me. At the mean while, I heard a young girl was beside the counter yelled at Alex: "you can not do that for her !" She was extremely talking loudly and rudely with a name tag "Kara" and when I told her I just got the same deal 5 minuets ago and she said she is the manager there, I thought she is too young to be a professional store general manager then I asked for any manager position above her. Then Alex called another manager for 3 times, finally another manager came with her long hair covered her name tag, but she can't understand anything there. Then Alex explained one more time for her, then she yelled at me: "I am the store general manager here, we did that once for you, how many more do you want?" Then she started to yell at Alyssa. Before I left, I asked her to write her name down for me twice, her name is April. OMG ! A so weird，unprofessional and not smart enough "MANAGER" can represents so big Super Target in Waterford Lake Town Center area ? If you can't allow me to do the price match and get a $5 gift card after purchasing another 3 L'Oreal items, why couldn't you be a little bit smarter and nicer to tell me I can go to Target.com to get this deal with no questions ?! If she is the store general manager, why she can't handle customer's complains in a right way, resolves a problem in stead of upgrading more problems with customer?! Yet another super store that carries pretty much any basic to psuedo-everyday items that a person could need from groceries to decor to greeting cards to clothing/shoes to electronics. They even have a portrait studio! What's not to love about a super Target? Well I suppose if you couldn't find a soul to assist you, things are disorganized and you have to wait in a line that goes from now until eternity then you would have a problem. They have cut back on cashiers, have one cashier with huge line first time ever walked out of a target. On another occasion I went to the customer service desk and asked for a manager and the red shirt said why whats up I am a manger. Really do you expect me to believe a manger would be wearing the reds? Anyway i said listen I went over to the shoe department and there are no shoes at all for men. I mean nothing. Well the "manager" said it was out of their control and that corporate tells them what to order. I tell her listen to me why would you do something like that to piss off your entire male customers and ignore them? Her answer well here is the 1800 number for corporate. I could honestly spend my whole paycheck here. They have a wide variety of things from clothing, to home furnishings, to food, and electronics. It's clean and the staff is nice. Always clean, well-organized, and friendly. How could I possibly complain about this Super Target in which I can purchase nail polish, pool supplies, cilantro and a greeting card all in one place? I frequent the Starbucks in this Target - LIKE ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY. This Target gets 5 stars mostly because of the baristas there. I'm such a regular I don't even need to tell them my drink order anymore. I know all of them by name, and they know me by name as well. The ONLY complaint I have about this Target is the traffic. Cars are horrible horrible horrible at stopping at the crosswalks. I nearly get run over several times a week. So if you're in Waterford Lakes - please be careful and mind the crosswalks! read more

This Target basically is a one stop shop for most essential needs plus much more. It has a Starbucks next to the cafe. A decent size grocery section plus bakery. I like how the grocery section has organic options and I like to pick up some organic apples and oranges when I get the chance. The rest of store is laid out well and lots of aisle space. Parts of the clothing section is cluttered. They have lots of registers and the lines usually go fairly quick and cashiers and staff is friendly. Target recently rolled out their Cart Wheel App. Love it! Lots of great discounts and the app allows you to scan the bar code to see if there is a coupon for me. I genuinely love Target as a company, but have had multiple bad experiences at this specific location. My first time there had me buying a $120 tv and a $30 router. Both put in a cart as I looked around. I had an employee (not LP) tell me I have to check out at electronics and can't pay for the items at the regular register. I explained that I just moved in town for school and had to buy bedding and other stuff so I wasn't paying right now. He insisted that I had to pay at electronics (I used to work at target, this is a bold faced lie). I told him I'd pay when I was ready. I paid at the front and had no issues there. I've worked retail extensively and totally understand loss prevention, but lying to customers who happen to be buying somewhat expensive things is ridiculous. They're also consistently out of stock on basic items such as 1 gal 1% milk, the Starbucks iced coffee in mocha, certain containers/packs of soda, etc. I've had other annoying experiences at this location, but won't go into a rant. I love target, which is why this place has even 3 stars from me, but I prefer to drive the extra 15 minutes to other locations when I have the time. The one on Goldenrod is much better. read more

I usually like Target, but this location does not honor the prices advertised in their app or on signs or the shelf, and they often have signs in front of the wrong items. I have lived in the Waterford Lakes area for 2 years. This Target is definitely my go-to for many of my impulse recreational buys or errands. I have never had an issue with the customer service or in my overall shopping experience at this location. However, today I went in and had to use the restroom. As soon as I walked in, I became dissatisfied with the appearance of the women's restroom. Clearly, management did not emphasize to their employees today to keep the restroom clean. There was paper towel overflowing outside of the trash cans, no paper towels left to dry hands with, toilets unflushed , toilet papers all over the floors in each stall. It was gross. Usually I would give this location a 4, but due to the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms, I write this review for management to keep in mind that the restrooms are also a reflection of the store. There are also a lot of health concerns that come with an unclean restroom. Overall though, good place to shop. read more

Sadly this target does not get the full 5 stars. We went in to the dvd section only to find that they did not have New Girl in stock. Very disappointed in target. We decided to wander the store anyways because we needed curtains. A group of teens walked by claiming that all adults who go to target are there to buy curtains. We found this very offensive, as we are not always in the need of curtains when we go to target. Target has many different products that we also want to purchase. Later we saw them again wandering the whole store, not picking up anything until they went back to the front. The self check out counter is one piece of new technology that we don't mind. We were able to quickly bag our purchases and leave. Great establishment would recommend :-). read more

We stopped in on 9/4/2015 to get a few items for a trip to the beach the following day. We needed the following items: Cooler - 24 can size Freezer Packs One Gallon Thermos Beach Chairs Beach Umbrella The only item we were not able to locate was the Beach Umbrella. Everything was easy to find and the clerk double checked the store inventory but the umbrellas were sold out. It was late and their were only 2 lanes open but that is understandable when it is 30 minutes to closing. We were never made to feel rushed and that was nice. Overall a positive shopping experience. Oh Target, what is there to say about thee? Well for starters, this Target is quite awesome! It's located in the Waterford Lakes Town Center and used to be my primary shopping site until a recent move. This location is a Super Target, so it has an extensive grocery section as well as clothing, electronics, home and stationary. There's been a wide selection of items every time I've been in this store and they are rarely out of stock of anything. If it's not on the shelf, it's usually in the back (unless there's a gray sticker on the label, then it's being ordered). The employees are also very willing to help you with whatever you need, as customer service is a large tenant of this organization. This location also sports a Starbucks, Optical Center and Photo Center, so it's quite convenient. Don't forget to use the lovely Cartwheel app and a Target RedCard for extra savings! read more

Purchased toddler table and chairs that needed to be returned at customer service- that was not a problem as I had receipts for the dented pillowfort table I was shipped. Amanda in customer service was just plain rude and difficult- whatever just do the return and let's go. We thought we were done with her until our regular shopping ended and we went to self check out. The register at self checkout froze as we were using Cartwheel and the employee Austin directed us to customer service to ring our products. Here we go with Amanda telling us no she couldn't ring us up and proceeded to count our items and say there's too many items. We told her Austin told us to come here since their systems were down. She rolled her eyes and I honestly just wanted to leave, but wanted my awesome finds! I was with my husband who never says anything about service but this time he was blown away. Amanda proceeded to talk about us to Meagan who was also at customer service, but Amanda wanted nothing to do with the convo and said "hey the self checkout registers are down we have no choice but to ring ". I didn't even realize the transaction was completed since there was no goodbye or anything, just handed the receipt over and blank stared. Checking out in cashier Rose's line is quite possibly my favorite part about shopping at this Target. I always have great interactions with the employees here. They are all very helpful and always happy to assist. Rose shared a little insight with me the other day which further emphasized to me that this woman LOVES her job. I had a cart full of towels, rugs and some miscellaneous grocery items and headed towards check out. I hadn't realized it at the time, but I was in Rose's line. She was finishing up with the woman in front of me and I just caught the part about "will you be saving 5% today with your Target Red Card?" The woman said she can never remember to bring a checkbook with her. Out of habit, I spoke up and told her she could do it online as well. The 3 of us began a short conversation about it and that's when I realized it was Rose. I hadn't been paying much attention prior to this point and then I felt bad because the one cashier that actually does tell people about the online option, didn't get the chance to because I stole her thunder. Rose is the only cashier to this day who ever says anything about getting a Red Card online to those that can't remember to bring a check or simply don't have them. During our brief conversation with the woman ahead of me, the woman had said "yes, but I do feel bad because don't you guys get recognition for signing up Red Cards?" and Rose's response to this was "We do but if you cannot remember your checkbook, then why not do it online? I would rather see you save money, and if you had a Red Card, you would have saved $xx.xx today" and she went on to explain other perks of the Target Red Card. When the woman left, Rose greeted me and we continued our conversation. I told her that I had learned about the online sign up from her and that she was the only one to ever tell me about it. She was beaming from the positive feedback and that's when she told me something that completely floored me. She said that she loves her job because she gets to talk to all sorts of different people every day. She said some people are in almost every day and she gets to know them and their families. She said it's her favorite part of her job because she feels like all of her customers are friends and family. She is so passionate about her job and helping people. I love Target, however, this one is located in such a busy area, that it takes a long time to find parking. However, once you crossover into the Target threshold, all is right with the work again - friendly, helpful sales associates, bright colors in a well-lit store. In addition, no matter how busy Target gets, items are still neatly stocked and there are always enough open checkout lanes. I got lured into the Halloween aisle and the selection seems to have grown when compared to years past, so of course I bought some unplanned items. Besides the parking situation, my only other qualm is that the price check scanners were all ripped out, leaving wires in their place. I managed to find one scanner still in place (in the grocery section, near the laundry detergents) and I suspect that most of the other ones were ripped out in order to be replaced with updated models. I'm a frequent impulse shopper in general but when it comes to Target it's totally worth shopping for. I especially love their Red Card program and their Cartwheel app. Both help me save a lot on my purchases. The meat department is only worth it for me in terms of the steaks but the chicken is not much to really select from. Other than that I like that it's always clean and everything is where it's supposed to be and easy to locate. The refurbishment looks incomplete like they forgot to put in new flooring. The old floor looked much better than tearing it out and leaving it looking unfinished. Who's Idea was this one? I like the new freezers, but dislike the layout of the store. Everything is very hard to find. Most of all, there are no manned checkouts when the store opens. NOT ONE! I don't think I should have to check myself out after shopping. I'm getting the old song and dance, "The person that was supposed to do it was late today" FOR MONTHS? A lie! Customer service is non-existent at this store. I try and find items with the app, but where is W63? I never saw it. never did find that celery. After shopping there for 20 years, I'm very disappointed and find myself shopping more and more at other stores. read more

Target, Waterford location could be a LOT better. Christmas lights went in to purchase higher priced lights that you can control by your phone the base unit is $100.00 and you have to have this to do anything! This only comes with 1strand of the smallest lights you prob.won't use ALL other sets sold separate and guess what they had none, I am told. I tried to get educated on this before I purchased it well this was much harder then I thought!! AFTER AN HOUR and a HALF I had spoken to 8 diff. Assoc. None of which the other one said knew what they were talking about and they were wrong I then asked to speak to a manager and was told they prob. Wouldn't know either and they're not taught about the item. I said I can understand that on most items but on high-end items they should train just a few people to be able to help the customer on those items. What if I had not tried to get multiple people or someone else to tell me I would have went out of there with the wrong lights because the first person told me any lights would have hooked up to the item then I would have had another trip to the store I would have been more frustrated and then probably someone in customer service would have told me, because I tried to hook the wrong lights it did damage that they wouldn't take it back or something like that. I would expect this type of response from Walmart not from Target I would hope that Target would learn from this and for the following year and for other items train certain Associates to be able to help customers with a few questions, basic questions What goes with this item, that is a basic question, Do you know what other lights you can put with it these are basic questions how do you sell a high-end item and not know that?? I have this hundred dollar item now that I have no lights for( couldn't use this year, and then was finally told that the lights were sold out since early Christmas and that they only get a couple packages of lights that go with it but yet they have ten or twelve of the units of the basic item there why would you only stock a couple packages of the lights that go with it if this is the case I don't understand? Target please step up your customer service!!!! Also yes their return policy is better because WE have a red card but that's only because it was so BAD before and all they wanted to do is argue with you and only give you 30 days for a return policy that's ridiculous!! This Target is pretty average when compared to other area Targets. It is a busy store so the stock can get picked over and the store messy. A lot of the employees act like they don't get paid enough to be friendly (and probably don't). I was dealing with a lady at the dressing room and she made it through our entire transaction without saying a word to me or looking me in the eye. I made sure to smile big and wish her a good day when I walked away, kill 'em with kindness, ya know? The parking and roadways are almost always congested which makes accessing this Target frustrating. It's much better to shop elsewhere. read more

Great Target Super store, always plenty of selection on the sale and seasonal merchandise in both the grocery and regular Target side. There is tons of parking, which is nice to have in Waterford Lakes. It's insane here on the weekends or during the holiday season. I usually go early or during off hours. What can I say that no one else has - Target (or Tar-jay) is a trendy store without the trendy high prices. You have to get the Red Card. It's a debit card that allows you 5% off all your purchases. When you combine the sale prices and coupons it's a great way to save more. You can even use the Red Card at the Starbucks. read more

I love this store. It is clean and the staff is courteous. Although it is busy at times it is never overcrowded or cramped feeling. They have all that I love about Target. I shop this Target often and love it. My only issue is they run out of stock quickly or order poorly. Like for example, they advertised their Champion running shorts in last weeks ad, I went there and they did not have my size in two of the colors. This is my favorite store! I love any target in general but in target I always find what I need. I've never had to wait in line for more than 2 minutes. Employees always greet you and ask if you need help they are extremely friendly. I love their clearance sections around the store and their $1 center by the entrance. The pizza hut and Starbucks they have in side is so convenient..I honestly come to this target at least 3 to 4 times a week is my playground! and its even better that's inside the Waterford lakes center with many other stores around. I buy a lot of my kids close here they have great durable clothes for great prices their up brand store diapers are great and for a great price. This is about the most obnoxious Target I have ever been to. I enjoyed going to the one in Knoxville, Tn for many years, it was spacious, clean, air-conditioned and had people who helped you. This Target is hot, is there are problem with air-conditioning in Orlando, which is one of the hottest places on the planet? Most businesses cut off the air soon as you hit their door and you sweat. I don't like trying on clothes in a heat. More examples of this, Home Depot, and Walmart where the must be trying to cut their costs, but I cannot stand being there longer then ten minutes. Despite the balmy weather at Target, we have been there twice, once to get curtains of which they had on sale, but seemed to have run out the minute we got there, imagine that??? hrmm. "False advertising ring a bell?" Second time, I needed a bathing suit, we seemed to hit the store about the time that all of Orlando decided to go shopping. I a plus size woman, but can wear XL, not the plus sizes, bathing suits for women my size were minimal, plus seems to be this new phenomena in bathing suits for women, no bust support, meaning large bottoms and virtually no bra with a tie around your neck!? GReat, all I need is a bathing suit that fall off everytime I go swimming. The dressing rooms were full, packed full, and included men and women, which I found very odd. I mean it is seperated, but they don't have a seperate male dressing room at all. I actually felt sorry for the guys, they was no rooms. In addition, I know I need to learn spanish at some point since moving here, but please, please get people who do speak english as well, I am a bit tired of non-communication what so ever and Target was simply one of those places. I will avoid target at all costs, the place was obnoxious, the staff was non-existant and could not speak english and the general area of this side of Orlando was filled with obnoxious self-serving, rude patrons. WE went to the TJ Max and left as quick as we could due to the sea of rudeness. Marshalls was the only place that seemed decent but a horrible line for checkout. This is definately an area of town were people do not know how to say pardon me or excuse me but instead stand in your way talking on cell phones or blocking isles with their carts unaware of anyone but themselves. I love this place. The location is perfect. The parking lot is not even too bad considering that its really in a mall. The store is huge and always always well kept and clean. The cleanest bathrooms I have ever been in. The store layout just sense great sense. And a Starbucks as soon as you walk in. Woohoo! If you are looking for something and can't find it, look here they have everything and if they don't, it's because they don't make it. My daughter is a student at UCF and each week when we visit for lunch we end up at this target. The employees are great and helpful. They always know right where something is in the store and are willing to show you exactly where the item is. They have many employees working and have many registers open at a open and usually I am not more then 3 deep at a register. No matter what type of day it is. The store since it is in the college area, does carry a far amount of UCF items and items needed for dorm rooms which is great. They seem to have more selection of these items then most other targets. read more
