Dr Sakhakorn is amazing. So thorough and awesome! The office is really nice and they have a great selection of frames!

Olga took the time to explain insurance versus out-of-pocket options and made sure patients felt comfortable and cared for. The doctors have also always been kind and professional. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. Between my annual exam, multiple return visits for contacts and glasses, and several phone calls, the level of service has noticeably declined. I understand there is a new owner, who I believe is one of the doctors that was already there and is very nice, but the overall atmosphere has changed. Olga used to be the first point of contact, and her presence seemed to set the tone for a higher level of patient care. Without her, the front desk experience feels less welcoming, and the staff's attitude has been underwhelming. Additionally, there are rotating doctors, which makes it difficult to build a relationship with someone familiar with my history and needs. Some of the fill-in doctors also appear unfamiliar with the system, making it harder to access past records or maintain continuity of care. Another challenge is the updated schedule. The office is no longer open on Saturdays, which makes even simple tasks like picking up contacts or glasses inconvenient. I've had to leave work five or six times over the past few months just to handle routine matters. While I don't have the time to detail every issue I've encountered recently, these cumulative experiences have changed my perception of the practice. Sadly, I'll likely be looking elsewhere for care moving forward and would no longer recommend this office to others. Perhaps the new owner should consider asking patients to fill out surveys after their visit so she can get a better idea of where the failures are in addition to receiving positive feedback when called for.

The woman who helped me said, "that's just how they are," but I know they weren't originally like that. I explained that I work a job where I move my head a lot and needed them tightened for stability. Instead of adjusting them, she told me that I shouldn't move my head that way and that it wouldn't be a problem. I was disappointed because I came in for a simple fix and felt dismissed rather than helped. I expected more understanding and better customer service.

The lady taking my payment asked me to pick my glasses! Then she proceeded to tell me one of the pair was tight on me but I proceeded to tell her it was ok. She then gave me her resting face of unpleasant thoughts! She tried to tell me otherwise and I said I was fine with that because it was for an emergency reason. She still said my head was too big and excuse after excuse after which I said I didn't care because I wouldn't wear them Lady it's my money I'm paying for them I will do w them as I please, when it comes out of your pocket then you can decide what ever you want! I have nothing but good things to say about them. However, my experience with the person who conducted the pre-exam and the optometrist herself was disappointing. The pre-exam technician set the tone for the appointment with a curt attitude and an energy that made it seem like she didn't want to be there. Unfortunately, the optometrist was even worse. She was so rude that I felt like an inconvenience just for having scheduled an appointment. I do not recommend booking with providers who don't seem to want to be doing their job. Maybe this is just her demeanor, but in a client-facing role, attitude and professionalism matter. Because of this experience, I won't be returning to this location. Foroodi was the O.D

Great place! I like the small personal attention. I'm a sucker for good service and this place…read morenailed it. The doctor, the people helping, the nice old dude. Just fantastic! I used to be of the idea, save a few bucks and go to a big box store. But after the great service, short wait and personal attention it is totally worth the premium. I always viewed glasses like an appliance and if they work ok then fine. I didn't think them as stylish. But the the nice blond lady pulled out some Tom Ford glasses... Ugh! I'm in love! Also, since I work in front of two gigantic computer monitors the doctor recommended varilux. Great idea! In theory... I gave them a whole hearted shot for two weeks, but I could not get used to them, they actually made me nauseous. No problem! I thought that I was going to have to pay for new lenses, but nope! They'll take the varilux and get me new lenses at no charge. Awesome! I really love this place.

FYI for the ppl who run this joint, The woman in the front desk needs to work on her customer service. Also, something I didn't like is that they are all there like if this was some king of high school lunch area where I can hear them gossiping, listing to rancheras and ignoring phone calls. Horrible place!

Hubs glasses broke Sunday night and, with no back-up pair to speak of, we were off to Costco first…read morething Monday morning to see if they could fix them. They couldn't, but they were nice enough to refer us to an eyeglass fixer in Glendale. A bit of a drive, but we were happy to get a referral. Soooo, what he needed was an eye exam and prescription filled, since his last exam was over 4 years ago. Luckily, Dr. Shad was in and - even MORE luckily! - an appointment cancelled as we we walked in to check availability. Hubs answered the questions from the friendly, helpful staff, then waited all of 5 minutes for Dr. Shad to see him for his exam. Just moments later, he was checked out, paid for his eye exam and retinal scan and we were back at Costco Optical, where Irving helped Hubs get 2 pair of glasses ordered with the updated prescription - YEA! I realize this is probably unusual to walk in and get an appointment right away. Also note, Dr. Shad is an independent practitioner, not affiliated with Costco, just conveniently located inside the store, adjacent to the Optical Dept. So you will pay separately for his services. Should either of us need our heads - errr...EYES! - examined again, we will return to Dr. Shad. Cheers! "CC"
