Fast, Fun and Friendly is the Target Moto and I have to say this Target really works hard to bring that to the guest experience. OK I am a bit biased as I work there, but I can honestly say that even if I didn't I would be very pleased with how clean the store is and how friendly and helpful the team is. There are red call buttons and service phones available to use if you need something and a team member is not around. They will meet you there in 60 seconds and assist you. read more

This place is incredibly filthy. There was a bird, yes, a bird flying around in the produce section. Garbage strewn through out the parking lot and store. In one of the aisles a worker had many packages of buns in a heap on the floor. I wouldn't buy food from here. Where is the management? read more

I am a big fan of this Target, not sure sure about some of these negative reviews. I've never had a problem with the store before as far as being messy or out of something I was looking for. (Besides size 3 Luvs diapers....get some more size 3 Luvs diapers Target. Also why the lack of Hazelnut coffee creamer? it's probably the most popular flavor and you only have it in the giant size which I can't use up before it spoils. You keep weird flavors that don't sell in the small bottles.) Now a logical explanation for my fondness of this Target is probably that they have a STARBUCKS. All else is forgiven once Mommy has her coffee. They also seem to be the only Target in the area who uses common sense when it comes to restocking the mini Pizza Hut pizza and breadsticks that my kids love oh so much. I usually have to wait a few minutes at the other Targets for more pizza because they always seem to be out..even when they are not busy. So big plus that they keep churning out the pizza. I guess when Mommy has her coffee and the kids bellies are full of pizza...it just automatically makes for a pleasant shopping experience. They have a pretty big seating area by the food stand/Starbucks which is nice because you can pull your cart in there with all the kiddos and sit down. They also have a good amount of highchairs. I do wish they would like wipe down the tables though with some kind of cleaner instead of just wiping the crumbs down, the wood surface can get kind of sticky feeling which is gross. But again, all is forgiven because they have a Starbucks and Mommy will just deal with busting out the baby wipes and cleaning the table we are going to sit at. So all in all, this Target is a great addition to the area. The covered parking is a HUGE bonus as well, I don't enjoy getting rained or snowed on. Staff is friendly, place is pretty clean, nice open seating by the food court and they have a Starbucks...so anything they lack in is totally forgiven in my book. read more

This target has a Star bucks in side.They have sanitary wipes for the carts. Their prices are lower than other competing stores. They have good baby food like their apple and spinach mix . Their employees are hard-to-find but the cashiers are nice and friendly. read more

This Target is my preferred choice. Sure the commute is longer, but I feel they have more of a selection opposed to the nearby Bedford Park location. The parking garage is convenient, and there are always people waiting to assist at the registers. The main concern is the restrooms that need to be checked more frequently. Other than that, it's a great store. read more

This is my go to Target! But the reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because: 1. Their Starbucks has been closing earlier than usual. (When I asked one of the employees why did they close early she gave me a fucking attitude...ummm no bitch. 2. Their sitting area (pizza hut) has been really messy. Napkins and straw wrappers on the floors and sticky and crumby tables. This has happened in various occasions, so I'm hoping this target gets their shit together soon. Now besides that, I always find what I need here. The times I've took my 5 year old to the family bathroom has been pretty clean. The employees by the fitting room are usually nice. They have a great selection of plus size clothing I can't find at other targets. And their parking is a plus! I also love the fact that this target closes later than others. read more

I go to target a lot this target is somewhat close to me. I am latina. I look latina. This target is in a more white neighborhood. There has been a few instances that have been a bit questionable in term of possible racism. It's always when I'm checking out. I'm always with my son and my bf. I always go to self checkout. The person there is always watching us. Sometimes there's no one watching there and theres people checking out and once we get there they start to watch us. The first time we were walking out the employee watched us and the security guards watched us too. The guard went to talk to the self checkout employee and I guess told him to follow us because he was right behind us until he saw us get into our car then he went back inside right away. The next time I went with my cousin. They saw us scan everything and pay. She was buying a bookbag and the lady checked inside of it we were like okay fine. The security guards saw us too and the bookbag beeped as we left and he said "its probably the bookbag but let me open it up anyway just to make sure". Another time, again, I was being watched and as I left security asked for my receipt and said they do it randomly that it's not anything about race but I've never seen them do it ever and they made sure they checked off everything in my receipt with stuff in my bags. Next, The self checkout lady was watching us, as usual, and my bf was about to leave with our son and I was waiting for the lady to come help me after helping someone else. I told her I just wanted to check a price and I wasnt gonna buy it so if she could erase the item it was after I payed so it was the only item on the screen she angrily asked me "well where is it?" I was like ??? And she says "where's the item?" I picked it up from next to the register where people usually leave stuff they dont want she took it from my hands away from where I was I guess to make sure I didnt take it. And the last time, watched us again, we were about to leave. She saw us make sure we didnt miss anything in the cart and we were leaving. This time I didnt put stuff in bags because I had reusable ones in the car and at my usual target they charged for bags. She stopped us asked for the receipt and checked our stuff and told us to use bags next time i know when you dont use bags you can get checked but she saw us the whole time she couldve told us any time but decides to use it as an excuse to check our things to make sure we arent stealing. It really sucks because they have more things here that I buy and more selection than the target closer to me plus I go to whole foods nearby too and this target is on my way home. read more

I usually love this target. I can always find parking and there are usually people who are working there. Today I had the worst experience ever! I had a question and had to search the entire store to find someone to help me. The floor was DISGUSTING! I have never seen such a filthy target. The carts were everywhere and there seemd to be no organization whatsoever. Also the bathrooms were gross with toilet paper on the floor and no tp in the stalls! There was one roll and we were sharing it underneath the stalls. I then decided I wanted Starbucks. I will never get a Starbucks drink from a store within a store. He had no idea what he was doing. And although he was busy and I felt sorry for the kid. He made both my drinks wrong and put way too much sweetner in the drinks when I asked for one squirt only. Whenever I go there, they NEVER have lemonade. Do they never get deliveries or any supplies? I hated my experience here and am saddened by the decline of my favorite stores. read more

Worst target in the area. You are always guaranteed to wait in line. They have a few good employees. The rest are incompetent. Lines 5 people deep and you have 5 employees bumbling around in front of the service desk looking for something to do. The most efficient check out line is the self check out, unless employee approval is required on your purchase, which can take 20-30 minutes. I went to one register to buy formula, had a coupon, the register froze, waited 10 minutes, no help in sight, went to another register, my coupon kept scanning that it had already been used. After flagging down what seemed to be the only front store employee working, he told me there was nothing he could do. Someone should be in the self check out at all times. That place must be a shop lifters dream. The front end/check out lines are so chaotic you could probably walk out with half the store. read more

Sorry for the lengthy review, but I haven't shopped Black Friday for the very reason to be explained. My husband needed a television for a section of his man cave and was told to go to the local Target (we were near Tinley Park) where there were TVs under $100! He left early evening on Thanksgiving and returned with a 32" TV by Elements ($91). I was unfamiliar with the brand, but hey. Later that night a family member came by and told us she had purchased 2 larger Sony TVs from BestBuy. Of course I looked online and saw Sony and LG TVs for under $200. We headed right over to BestBuy and purchased a 40" TV by LG for $140! Friday morning, we went to Target on 95th St (closer to home) to return the 32" tv. The customer svc rep took the receipt and the tv and opened the box with a utility knife. As she scanned the tv, she said there is a problem with the serial numbers. My husband told her that he didn't know about that but that when he purchased the tv (at the Tinley Park store), something was going on because the manager had to come and put in some code and that maybe she should get the manager who may know how to process the return. The customer svc rep standing next to her looked over, asked which tv it was we were returning and stated "oh yeah, we were having a problem with those you need the manager override". The manager came over and looked at everything and began typing in the register, meanwhile another lady came over (maybe another manager) and stated "he can only get back what he paid for the tv". The 1st manager immediately showed her our receipt and stated "he is, that's not the problem". The 2nd lady said "oh, ok. sorry" and walked away. Now I'm irritated as to what had just been implied, but I waited patiently as the manager continued to process the return. Then suddenly she states "oh, you can't return this tv for 24 hours after Black Friday. You bought this last night, you have to bring it back tomorrow". My husband asked her to show him where it says that on the receipt; she could not. He went over to were the return policy was on the wall; told her he found nothing to verify her statement." She then said "you can probably return it at the Tinley Park store". My husband said he's not driving back out there and he's never heard of having to do that. The customer svc rep called someone on the phone, explained the situation and then put my husband on the phone. The guy told my husband that Target "could not except any large item returns before next Tuesday"!!! So now I asked the Asian customer svc rep (who stood with a stupid smirk on her face) "what happens when we return this tv and YOU have now opened the box after it was brought to you new and there IS a policy about opened returns??" Her response was "they are still going to have to open the box and check it no matter where you take it". Puzzled and offended by her response, I told her "I don't have a problem with anyone opening and seeing the contents, I asked if there would be a PROBLEM w/returning a NOW OPENED item, which YOU opened here!" The manager stepped in and said "we will reseal the box and there should be no problem." As the customer svc rep (looking embarrassed) resealed the box, I asked the manager for a verifiable written statement about the opened item. She a statement including her name on the receipt and we headed out of the store. On the way out, we spoke to a customer in line waiting to return a huge 60" television which he said he had purchased Thanksgiving night. I waited to wait to see how THAT return went, but after 15 minutes of waiting for him to reach the mid-way point in line, we had to leave to attend to our day. We easily returned the tv to the Tinley Park store with NO problem, or card was credited, and we didn't leave feeling like we "stole something" because that is exactly how the caked-face Asian customer service rep in Oaklawn treated and spoke to my husband and me. My husband and I are both educated, hard-working, professionals in our careers, but some people need to be trained on diversity and ethics before being hired in the field of customer service (especially during the holidays). I've shared this experience w/multiple target shoppers, who (like myself) have never heard of such policies nor experienced such treatment and was encouraged to write this review. I also have a relative who works at the location downtown who, after hearing of our experience, said that there WAS an issue with that particular brand tv (Elements) because when that store received their shipment the week prior to Thanksgiving, the TVs were suddenly gone. I guess the some Oaklawn employees didn't get the memo. read more

Feel like being accused of shoplifting at the self check out lane?? This is the place to go!! After spending $67.11 at Target on 1/9/21 the sales associate that's supposed to be wiping down the self checkout registers came up and asked if I still wanted the suavitel in my cart, I replied yes. She then asked if I scanned it, I replied that was the first thing I scanned (with the scanner gun, because why pull it out of my cart when I'm going to put it back in?!?) the sales associate then rolled her eyes at me. (She must have forgotten she had a face mask and not sunglasses). She then walked away. When walking towards the exit she was talking about it with the other sales associate, so I then said " do you want to check my receipt? " she said "no I don't need to". so I replied (mad of course) "no yes you do because you clearly thought I didn't scan it so check it and you rolled your eyes" now back when I worked retail the customer was always right ESPECIALLY if I were to make an assumption like what she did.... she then proceeds to say " no I didn't roll my eyes" then walks away being dismissive and saying again " no I didn't, have a good day" Now what this lady doesn't know is that I have worked retail before and I know how you should treat a customer. You best believe I went straight to the manager because this woman has done this to me before!! But I have let it go. She didn't check anyone else's cart. And why the f*ck would I steal a fabric softener out of all things at target annnnnd PAY with a card while on CAMERA!?! If you're going to assume someone is stealing at least check their receipt and apologize. read more

This has been our first choice for superstore shopping for a while now. However, when we needed to return something, the manager was extremely rude and condescending. We had our receipt. She told us we couldn't return a defective item because it was close to the 90 day limit. We did the math for her since she obviously didn't get past 2nd grade, and told her it hand't even been 60 days. She then changed the reason! We asked for the store manager and were told we could not return it. After more arguing we were offered a store credit and begrudgingly took it. We e-mailed the corporate headquarters to let them know how awful the managers were here. I guess we'll go to the Super Walmart from now on and hope nobody sees us... read more

One of THE best Target stores in the Chicagoland area. I had to return some curtains that didn't fit my bedroom decor. Waited until forever to return them, so my receipt expired. Curtains were opened and I didn't keep the boxes that they were in. Target STILL took the merchandise back and gave me a store credit! No hassles, no headache! The store is always very unorganized, clothes are thrown everywhere. Employees are very ignorant and not helpful at all! The lines? Forget about it! You will wait 20-30 minutes in line, I don't care what time of day/night it is! Then they have those workers who stand around by the front near the lines that are just talking and not working! How about opening up a register and doing some work!!! I just moved to the area so the store is convenient for me but I think I will drive a little down the road and go to another store! read more

I love my Targets and never really had memorable bad experiences during my Target runs. However, this Target makes me dread going in due to so many items being displaced that I cannot find what I am looking for. The grocery section is very well organized and has much staff attending to the food products. This makes it very easy to find grocery items. Every time I have checked out at this location there are not enough staff members to assist with checking-out. The lines are very long. I particularly have gone between 4-6pm which many customers have the same idea. A bit frustrating but I still come back with this in mind. read more

This target needs to manage their Drive-Up service better. Cars are always parked in those designated parking spots which are meant for easy drive up orders. Went to store on 9th to get a Christmas light repair tool. They had none. But problem for me was problem finding someone to ask a question to. It used to be easy to get questions answered. So not being able to get the tool I needed, I wanted to get a treat of chocolate covered peanuts and found they no longer have them in the store. The people in Guest services are awful! I have placed over 20 online orders for pick up at the counter or delivery to car within the last three months. I never had a problem until today. I have placed orders where my Caucasian boyfriend picks up the order either at the customer service desk or drive up and he's never been asked to provide ID and he's never been told he's not listed as the "alternate". Today, I placed an order with several items for an infant. My dark skinned niece was kind enough to pick up the order. When she arrived to the store she was told she was not on the alternate list so they couldn't give her any of the items I had ordered and paid for. She was able to produce the order number and all of the items ordered as well as my method of payment. She was told she could not pick up unless she was listed as the "alternate" and that I should update the order online. There is no option to update the order once it's been placed. I called the store and spoke to the same woman that had refused to provide service. She told me my niece can go to the car and they would deliver the items. Within a second the app updated my order to "delivered". How does that make sense?! Target will deliver items to the same person in a vehicle but not at the service desk? Target will verify ID at the service desk but not if delivered to a vehicle? I had not chosen the color of vehicle the order was to be delivered to. But the store was able to mark my order as "delivered". Target needs to either require ID every time there is an exchange of items at the desk or vehicle pick up or not require ID. What's it going to be?! I am completely disgusted with the lack of customer service, inconvenienced by their lack to follow their own internal policies, and will probably never shop there again! read more

I have never felt the need to write a bad review until today. I asked a cashier a question about a WIC coupon I had and I understand sometimes Cashiers are not given the same information as a manager therefore I POLITELY asked to speak to someone else. She not only gave me attitude in her response but she acted to go to the back to ask someone but literally came back in 10 seconds saying the other person said the same as her. There is no way she asked the manager or ANYONE what I had asked her in that amount of time that she was gone. I won't ever return to this target. She was so rude and this all occurred around 8:25PM Wednesday April 22 2020 in case the manager would like to speak to her because I can see her doing the same to other customers and I can see this will affect business. She is Hispanic, dark toned and wears glasses that are brown, I did not catch her name. It's honestly so disappointing that during this pandemic if someone is asking about a WIC coupon it's for a baby and she neglected to help me to speak to anyone but her and she gave me the response that only she wanted to give, I mean cmon that's as heartless as someone can get during these tough times. read more

Awful. Just tried calling the store, which only gives you options to select Electronics, Pharmacy or Operator. Operator does not answer. Ever. The only person who helped was the fellow who works in Electronics. Tried to get a manager for me, but I could hear in the background that Kim didn't want to come to the phone, and I had to wait for the other gal to answer. She couldn't care less either. Not helpful, nor did she apologize for the poor service. The electronics guy did. Maybe he should run the store. Will not shop at this one again. read more

If I could put a 0 star I would have. The store practices deceptive return policy. My teenager daughter worked really hard babysitting to save her money to buy the Beats Studio wireless. was on sale for 275.00. She purchased it on 12/7/2016 at 7.56PM. She came home very excited and opened it. The headphones had a cracked on the side. Within half an hour she was back to the store, the male employee mocked at her and took the headphones inside and after ten minutes he returned and refused to exchanged the headphones. when she opened the box the headphones were broken in half. She came to get me at my house and I went to the store. The manager on duty that night refused to exchanged them. The security guard was a witness that the head phones were not broken in half. The manager refused to check the monitor to see what the employee had done. I call corporate and they said if the store manager does not want to exchange then is nothing we can do. My friend who is a lawyer told me he had a similar incident. At the moment I have called channel 7 and Channel 44 to investigate this store. My teenager daughter had cried so much for this unfair act. We are of Hispanic decent and feel very discriminated. The store is very ghetto and customer service is garbage. Never again I will shop here because this is not the first incident that happens on this location. please be aware when you purchase any electronics or any big purchases. Make sure that is not defected. Because the store will rob your money and you wont have nothing. read more

I have never encountered so many rude employees in one store! The majority of the employees do not have customer service skills, including the supervisors. What is the purpose of employees if they don't want to work or help customers. Marissa is a perfect example of what kind of a person NOT to hire. She has no perception of her job There were at least 10 employees standing around talking about what time they'd be able to get out of work while ONE poor girl worked the register by herself. ALL the other registers were closed. After an extremely long wait in line, I asked Marissa can't they open another register, she said NO. So I continued to wait. and wait and wait. Then when I was next in line, the cashier said sorry, I'm going to take this other customer before you (who just walked up). I couldn't believe it! Then AFTER I put my stuff on the counter, Marissa said "the next customer in line could step over to the next register!" Do you believe it! I asked if she could and she told me no, then goes ahead and opens another register and takes the person behind me first? I looked at Marissa and said you have got to be kidding! She then started to tell me she's in the middle of dealing with an issue and that it's been a bad night. I don't need to know what she's dealing with or if been a bad night. That is her job and she should know how to deal with it. Never once did she apologize! This isn't the only incident I encountered. There have been countless issues with this store. They rip you off by not scanning coupons properly too. They sent coupons in the mail for a free dozen of eggs, but rang them up for .99 cents! When I went to customer service to get my money back the supervisor said we don't know if it's true and made a big deal over .99cents! She had to call another supervisor or manager to correct the problem. There are only a couple of guys working there that nice, courteous and helpful, but that's about it. Don't waste your time, go to another Target! read more

The prices are good. The service is great compared to the Kmart across the street, but average to above average depending on the associate. Management is great when it comes to resolving issues, but the cleanliness of the location could improve. After an unsatisfactory experience at the Kmart 4101 W 95th St in Oak Lawn, I will be shopping here much more often to pick up my daily knick knacks. read more

This Target is very clean and I love how they have a parking "garage" so you don't get wet when it rains or snows. However, the check out lane setup is horrible! It is setup so there are 2 rows of checkout lanes. But they aren't staggered - one lane is directly behind the one in front of it. So you have to squeeze your way through the line in the first check out lane in order to get to the one behind it. This causes huge lines because many people cannot get to the second row of lanes. Also, they don't seem to ever have enough cashiers. The line almost always is too long. But I still shop here and drop loads if money because, well, it's Target :) read more

I ordered a site to store shipment for my baby crib. I was originally at the store looking for the crib and the worker (who had to be hounded down) told me that they were all out of stock because of a special sale they had. She told me that there's not going to be a sale for several months. So I felt down but at least I was getting the crib that I wanted with a discount (online only) code by ordering a site to store shipment. Pickup time- The worker at customer service (to help with the car loading) was beyond the laziest person that I have ever met. He was walking away from the car and my husband had to do all of the loading. He would not offer me anything to tie the crib on top of my car in case it didn't fit our trunk. My husband found a way to fit it in without this kid's help (which he allowed the cart to blow away when my husband moved the crib). KMart at least offered twine for my mom's kitchen set at least when it didn't fit into our car and their workers actually gave a damn and helped. Oh and guess what? The crib was $50 off two weeks later. So not happy. I took down my baby registry after this because my family and friends shouldn't have to deal with such nonsense. read more
