    My husband and I purchased what we thought was a great bed for our two girls. Turns out, it broke really easy. We purchased the bed 10/08/16. We attempted to make a claim when it broke in 11/2017. We purchased the P1PRP protection plan when we bought the bed. My 5 year old bounced on the bed and the entire frame fell from underneath the bed. My husband was told that it was a manufacturer problem and we were basically out of luck because the manufacturer warranty had run out. As you can see from the attached photo of the protection plan, it should cover structural or component failure resulting in breakage of frames. LIES! Recently the frame of the pull out bed came apart and we are afraid to call to make a claim because we don't think they'll honor the warranty. We used to really love The Room Place. We have made several purchases from the store. However, we are very displeased and plan to never make another purchase with the store because they DON'T honor their warranties. We pay to protect our furniture because things happen and we spend good hard earned money on it. It's really disheartening when you think you have a piece of mind only to be bamboozled when it's time to actually honor their agreement. They should stop selling a protection plan they are never going to honor. If my claim for the bed isn't honored this time, I will be reporting them to the BBB!

    Ok posted about 9 months ago about terrible products. Why buy the warranty. Don't waste your money Now the Problem is with the couch is the when you recline it falls to one side and after owning a couch for 2 years the material is doing chipping. Garbage products they sell, you would think you spend so much money you would get a good product. Warranty said normal wear and tear. What the hell do they cover!!!! When you buy the warranty they tell you they cover it all. Dishonest!!! Just trying to make a sale. They also said maybe you cleaned it with something I said the product you gave to me and told me to use it. After you leave they don't care. Bought a new house furnished it did not spend one dollar in their store and will never do it again. Just trying to get the word out.

    My purchase seemed promising and fulfilling. We bought the warranties after being told we can get replacements within a certain time frame if any damage. Within the year, the couches we purchased began to tear and peel. There are no kids in our household and the couches were well taken care of. Went back to the sales lady and she told me there's nothing we can do, and the warranty does not cover the couches. Why would you sell me a warranty if it does not cover the couches I purchased... no one peeled them nor played with them. It is terrible fabric that peeled and damaged after normal use. Now I am stuck with these expensive couches, and they are quite embarrassing when people come over. Our older couches lasted for 15+ years. These didn't last the year.

    Very very bad quality! Protection plan doesn't cover anything! I paid an extra $400 for it. I want my money back for at least the protection plan! I had this sectional for 2 years and it started peeling, recliner broke, cushion fell inside the couch. Just a nice piece of garbage now! Do you think I will be shopping here again?

    The store opened August 18 next to a new TJ Maxx as they are one company. The shopping mall there…read moreis beautiful, well layed out , winery restaurant nearby. Home Goods opened at 8 but it was pouring rain so I did not get there till 10am. It was packed..like all of Oak Lawn thought it was the last day on earth. Home Goods knocked it out of the park with plenty of staff, cashiers, helpers to load your car, a packed store with all your favorite design items. They had staff keeping shelves arranged and tidying up aisles. Expediters would find you a cart person to move your item up front because if you left it- it would be gone to some other customer who was faster than you. They had a beautiful champagne frosted mirror foyer table I got for $50 less than Minnesota when I was there. The aisles are a little tight but who cares when you are in heaven. It was men, women, couples, the whole neighborhood must have arrived. Parking lost is spacious but packed that day. They had people keeping carts back in from the lot. You could feel the frenzy and delight of us all as we found great deals, rugs,furniture, lamps, mirrors, linens, beautiful art work drapes and accessories. It is always a happy place when I see beautiful things like that. Well planned opening with well trained people, plenty of staff who were very nice and free Home Goods huge Shopping bags you could keep on entry as you arrived and take home. It replaced the store across from Ford City and so much better an arena to shop at.

They have a large selection of furniture, rugs and accessories; some modern, cool stuff that I have not seen elsewhere. Delivery and setup were on-time and efficient. I am extremely pleased with the store management, willingness to work with customers, and the uniqueness and quality of merchandise.     Hey fellow Yelpers! I've been to this Ross location so many times and found so many good deals…read more Friendly staff, great inventory, & prices you just can't beat. I've been to other Ross locations and I'd have to say this is my favorite one. Customer Service: The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I always get greeted when I walk in and it feels nice. Keep up the amazing work! From time to time, I'll have returns and the associates are always patient with me whether it's me trying to find the paper receipt on my pocket or purse. The line to check out tends to be really long on the weekend, so I'd suggest maybe at least 2-3 cashiers on the register on the weekends at least to reduce the waiting time in line and a smooth & fast checkout experience. Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the back of the store. To use the bathroom, you have to notify the security or an associate since the door is locked by a pin pad. I'm assuming this is to prevent someone from stealing which is good, but interesting that the Marshalls in the same plaza isn't locked. Merchandise: This Ross location has great inventory. I'm not sure how often they restock their merchandise, but I feel like every time I come, I see something new or there's a different set up especially if a holiday is coming up like Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc. they have a dedicated seasonal section where they have items based on the season. I have a pair of UGG boots, Nike shoes, Puma shoes, and more from Ross. You can also find some good cologne/perfume here. My boyfriend is plus size and unfortunately their plus size inventory is very limited, so you are definitely better off at Burlington. Kind of random, but they sell Funko pops and DBZ figures. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great shopping experience at Ross at the Chicago Ridge location. The staff are friendly, great inventory, & affordable prices. Nice Local Bakery Store with many different assorted and fun things to make your baking experience a hit. Great place for baking and cake decorating supplies. I was impressed with the event and Lori gave us some demonstration on chocolate melting and gift giving ideas for the Holiday's. We were able to sample a very small piece of caramel. The tasting was very chewable and soft. Delish. I wish we could of had a bigger piece why? because I'm greedy like that lol There were other small business owners in attendance to promote their products and give us a taste of flavors from jam, cheese, sauce you name it. I look forward to updating my review soon. It was nice to meet other women and help support small businesses within the neighborhood. I have to make sure to sign up to take the chocolate platform shoe class in October. The Chocolate High Heel Display was amazing. That is another reason for me attending this event.

    I called Cakewalk Chicago today in dire need of assistance…read more I have an event this Sunday and I had a few questions regarding how I was going to produce a fondant covered 3 tired dummy cake and 100 chocolate covered pretzel rods! When I called, Ms. Lori picked up and boy am I glad I got her! She was super helpful, patient, competent, and kind. She listened to my needs with the intent to assess them and then she offered me her timeless, tested, and tried wisdom, so that I would be set up for success to do the work myself. She ended her conversation with a rousing, " You got this" and hearing those words infused my heart with the encouragement I needed. It pays to be kind. Ms. Lori is an answered prayer in the form of a human heart. God Bless Cakewalk Chicago.
