This is one of the closest Target store in the area. Love how big, well lit and roomy this space is. Each area is well kept, clean and organized as it should be. I can always find something I need in most areas, especially in the home section. You can truly find products for a great price if comparing to other stores. The checkout service is always quick and easy with no hassles. read more

Average Target. If you've been to one Target, you've basically been to them all in regards to price, stock, and layout - it was no exception here. At the time I went, it wasn't busy, which is always a plus. The employees are typical from what I saw. The hiring managers are the ones to blame really. I had no interactions thankfully, but they do their best to ignore you - the customer. This Target reminded me of an ongoing annoyance that's in some locations I've been to - that being the annoying overaggressive sales people by the electronics trying to get you to listen to their spiel. It's like this every time - I'm polite and keep it moving, but they keep going and going......and going. They don't take the hints and sometimes they're just nasty because they're not getting their sale. They're in Target, so this is Target's responsibility even if it's just Target's partner. I find myself trying to avoid the area when I see them, but sometimes it can't be helped. If Target is going to have these people in the stores, then maybe address them in the basics of being salespeople - because they clearly do not have a clue. Anyway, the parking lot is pretty large, so you should have no issues coming here. This is in Jersey, but the area felt like the Bronx and looked like parts of San Francisco with the hills. It was annoying coming here, so I probably won't be coming here again. read more

Everything g is great at this place - it's very neat and organized. The shelves are always stacked - the workers seem happy. It's my go to Target! read more

This is my favorite target because it is so close to me. I love going here for anything and everything. I go in for 1 thing and come out of there with some much stuff. My favorite things to purchase at this target is definitely household essentials such as cleaning products, Dawn spray to wash dishes and of course hair care items. I have curly hair so i always find amazing new curly hair products. That is definitely my sweet spot. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - North Bergen, New Jersey

This is your typical target. Over the years I have been coming here less and less because I just go over to Walmart in Teterboro because it is right next to Costco. But I do come here sometimes when target has those deals. So this week target got a deal of purchase $15 worth of cleaning supplies and then you get a $5 gift card. This is a pretty sweet deal to stock up on window cleaners and dish detergent because we use them anyways. And the prices here for those items are pretty much similar to that of Walmart. So I bought $30 worth of cleaning supplies and got $10 back in target gift card. Also had another coupon for $5 off. So all in all good deals all around. I usually like to order online and pick up in store because it is so much more convenient. Also I wait for good deals like gift cards back on purchases that I am already going to make. read more

Hi Target Corp, I am formerly writing this comment right after the experience I had at your North Bergen, NJ Target. Today is Black Friday and the primary focus should be crowd controlling, fast and accurate transactions, cleanliness as well deter theft. I am a general manager in retail likewise and wish to share this to better your services. I, am a father of twins whom were just born and my wife is stuck home currently recovering from a C section catering to the 2 preemie newborns and as I just found out, my twin daughter/son cannot have regular formula. I was given a hard time to return formula I purchased recently, I had the receipt for it and a manager was called for no seemingly associated reason. It was embarrassing and ultimately I was given the store credit as I know that policy. Fast forward to the unfortunate part and extreme disappointment, I was looking to purchase 9 bottles, which last 9 days only of the similac Alimentum formula(not apart of WIC program) for my twins I just brought back from the hospital in which NEEDS this special milk. I was spoken to by 3 leaders, stating there's a limit on the formula of 4 bottles maximum, with no signage in any of the store on aisles themselves. I then explained to them I had twins at home and they were on FaceTime with my wife. After the errors of management not having signage in the aisle and not realizing their own mistakes, I must suffer still as a father and my twins as well as the leaders did not own up to their mistakes. All of the leaders were very inexperienced as I am a training captain for my company and you MUST hire better talent on leading with style and constructive criticism within oneself as well own up when they are indeed incorrect. If there is a limit on anything, THERE MUST BE A SIGN somewhere in the vicinity. I will not be coming back to this target and I will surely spread the word on this if not rectified immediately. DO NOT jeopardize infants on your own faults! Thank you for reading this and I hope it betters your future findings in leadership at Target. read more

Worst target nobody is ever in the departments and I walked for 20 mins looking for someone and when I found someone they told me ill find someone never saw them again. No managers in sight when I left outside smoking cig good job with your staffing. read more

This is my go to Target location. I'd rate it similar to every other target in the area. I enjoy going to this location b/c since it's in North Bergen (Hudson County) there is only 3.5% sales taxes, which makes my saving even greater. I always use my target card her to save that extra 5%. I feel that the clothing, and children toys section are always messy. I understand that people make a mess in these locations, but extra staff should be monitoring them for cleanups. The bathroom at this location also needs to be cleaner. read more

Garbage service and weirdo salesman in the departments you wait on thinking they are associates because theres never any in sight, and after waiting, nope back to looking for buttons and a whole mess. Turn the place into a amazon kiosk and be done with it read more

Shelves throughout the store were bare, most of the clothing (both male and female) were either Small or XL/XXL or larger, hardly any sizes in between and no cashiers to be seen!!! Your only option was self checkout!!! Prices in most departments were comparable to Walmart, but in some they were more expensive. On a positive side, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially the attendant working the self checkout lines. read more

There are articles written about why shoppers love Target so much. And it's true -- bliss & euphoria await you on the other side of Target's automatic sliding doors. At least that's how I feel. Though I had a productive shopping trip, this location was out of stock of: Queen-sized bed-in-a-bags & cups & mugs I had my heart set on. They also had a limited variety of Queen-sized throws & comforters, which was a bummer. Employees were available & happy to check inventory in their stockroom or at another store. Another minor irritation which was totally my fault -- I bought dishes & bowls & one plate was chipped. It's always that one time you don't check that something will be amiss *sigh* I noticed that only one cashier was manning her station as well as the self-checkout registers. Granted this was in the middle of a weekday, so hopefully they've got more staff on deck during prime buying time like weekends. Our cashier was lovely, wrapping anything fragile in extra bags & making sure we took advantage of any coupons & discounts (we hadn't even looked.) Next time, I'll call to make sure they have the items I absolutely need in stock (or at least have them tell me which location carries them.) read more

I will not be shopping at any stores that promotes hate! Wake up Target and stick to retail sales and not racist hate propaganda, violence and politics. read more

When shopping at target gives your anxiety you know there's an issue. Why do you have everyone on one line checking out? Last I checked shelf check out should have their own line. 2 items took me 25 mins to check out because management Can't properly delegate and can't properly manage a simple target location. read more

Love this target but half the time i go there is the store is empty and cant find anything I need. It is also disorganized in the beauty section which can be fustrating. Before having the self checkout they would have ALL cashiers open but now they will have one and the lines for self checkouts are long half the time read more

I'm really disappointed in Target and how they have responded during such a critical time when it comes to customer service and returns. When enough customers come together to determine we need an alternative to Target, believing you can treat people anyway and continue to generate revenue will be a luxury and not a necessity. Meaning, Target will not receive another dollar from me as I continue to spend 1000a but when I ask them to return an item pass the 90 day window because we've been in a pandemic and I didn't wanted to risk myself or their employees for a return they say no but we'll offer you a $10 gift card, no Target! I will spend my money elsewhere read more

I much rather travel to the North Bergen Target than any other Target in this area. I'm absolutely love this location. I find it to be organized and well laid out. Staff is always helpful and well knowledgeable. This target has been updated in the past few years so it's definitely up to date and modern. They've added the food section which always has great prices. They also have a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut section in case you need some nom noms! Overall, this location is great. Well organized, clean and you can find everything and anything you want. read more

I was kicked out earlier for bringing my dog and I came back one hour later to shop back at the same location just to see another woman with her dog freely shopping. read more

I like this Target except that it is located in such a secluded area. I seriously walk around feeling like someone is going to attack me. Maybe i am paranoid, but NJ just has that empty vibe about it unless you live in Hoboken. NJ just is not a mini Manhattan. It also doesn't make things easier since i do not have a car. I came here on a few occasions and i always find what i need. As usual, i come here for 1 thing, but always walk out with a truck load of stuff that requires i use a shopping cart. For the times that i have been in here, the staff was friendly, the shelves were nicely stocked and i always found what i needed. Nothing that i ever want is out of stock so i can't complain. Of course, i always come out of a Target store with an empty wallet. Unintentional of course. read more

Semi decent Target, I prefer the one in Jersey City to this one, but this place was the only one that had the item in stock and it was xmas shopping time so I had no choice but to come here. People were helpful here, but the store wasn't well organized as what I am used to from a Target and the items were not as available as other Targets. I'll stick to the one I normally frequent instead of this one. Also the parking lot is a pain to get in and out of here. read more

I have gone here so many times and and have spent lots of money in this store but after today i will probably find another store to go to. I stopped in here yesterday because its a lot closer to me than staples and i really needed a filing cabinet so i looked around the store on my own and didn't see any. I asked one worker but she didn't speak much english so had no clue what i was talking about so i went down a few aisles and asked another worker and the same thing happened ..... didn't speak english. I was going to go to customer service and ask about the cabinets but i decided to just go where i should have gone in the first place. I guess target will be getting less of my business in that store. Too bad for them because i ws going there a lot Seriously if you are going to hire people they should at least be able to help your customers out when they need something. read more

Very rude staff! I was stopped but an associated In the middle of shopping who told me my service dog was not allowed inside. Never had this problem In target until today. Will not be coming to this Location ever again. read more

I've always been a fan of Target since they have a various assortment of different items which is very convenient. This specific Target is not as renovated as other Targets, but it is well kept and clean for the most part. They don't have a good selection or a large quantity of merchandise, which is disappointing. Has a Starbucks Counter Inside Spacious Parking Lot read more

Worst customer service ever!! Black Friday and an employee sits to get a phone and has been in the seat for an hour and 45 minutes because they want to chit chat. Still not done setting her up and there's a line of VERY upset people waiting. Really employees should not get special treatment cause they work here, I work hard for my money and spend a lot more than employees do in Target. read more

Typical Target Pros: VERY organized womans clearance section! If you shop regularly at target you know this is rare. Cons: Limited brands in the cosmetics section read more

This is definitely not one of the better Targets I have been to, but it's alright. My one concern is that a few days after coming here, my credit card number was mysteriously used at a Target in Michigan. After that experience I'll never use my card here again. read more

Well, this was quite possibly one of the messiest Targets I've ever been to, but then again, this place was packed with the local residents. The lot was a mess of carts and people, and entry was off 1 & 9, and it has been under construction only until recently when they finished enlarging the road and adding lights. Out of stock in several sale items, I found it simpler to wander down to the one in Edgewater or over in Jersey City by Newport. read more

I always go to this target because it is close by! and it has a starbucks! I wish the starbucks had breakfast sandwiches like the Edgewater location. never had a problem, I usually go early in the morning and sometimes there's cashiers who are tired and grouchy and other times I get lucky with happy cashiers-those are great cashiers! read more

I used to come to this target all the time because is Convenient and near me .. but today as I walk in to get my puppy supply I was stop by someone in the front door saying the dog was not allow in the store . I have come to this store with my puppy multiple time i have seen other costumer with puppy inside also. I have never had an issue my dog has a stroller/carrier is not on a target shopping cart is not on the leash on the floor or anything that would cause any issue on target.. I will complete understand if the dog is on the loose or in their shopping cart.. but we have our own carrier/stroller.. very disappointed target is not pet friendly store .. they shouldn't sell dog merchandise then read more

Cool place always have stuff in stock.

After searching and searching for a particular item I wanted and even being blown off twice by my local (Jersey City) Target location in my attempt to locate and purchase, the North Bergen location came through. The item I wanted was re-stocked overnight, but just the single one. I called right away at 8am and the very friendly guy (I think it was Angel) assured me that he'd put it on hold for me and even took my phone number should he not locate it. Though the trek there was pretty crap on a hot day with no car (it's 1.35 miles from the Tonnelle Ave HBLR station to the Target), I was rewarded with my fab new purchase! The rest of the store is similar to any smaller Target location. Not as wide a selection as the larger stores, but varied and with options. It was clean and the 3 different employees who helped me (the item ended up being on hold in Electronics and not at Customer Service) were all very friendly. The North Bergen location is head and shoulders more organized and friendly than the Jersey City location, in my experience. Yay! read more

I never had any problems with this target. It's on route 1 & 9 which is a terrible road because of congestion and truck traffic. Target has good prices on grocery items, that's one of the main reasons I like it. The staff at this one has always been pleasant. read more

Did an order pickup for grocery and I was given the wrong items, unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home and I have to wait 24 hours for a refund/to report the issue. I work at another target and I know that we are not allowed to substitute items. I'm sorry but my simply orange juice is not the same as Tropicana, plus Simply is a more expensive brand. I was cheaper out. Knowing that this is against protocol makes me even more dissatisfied /frustrated. If they could not locate the item, it should have been cancelled along with my creamer - not substituted. read more

i hate this target!! i came here to buy a couple things. the cashier hands me 1 bag bc i only got like 5 things very minor like face products and a skirt. i watch as the employee folds my skirt. only to find out half way home that she never gave me the fucking skirt she charged me for. i go back only to find out they sold the skirt they sold me to someone else (only size 4 left). hate when ppl play with money read more

The reason I am giving this store a five star rating is because of its employees. The employees were cleaning the carts regularly and maintains a safe environment. In addition, I had two employees help me with the Target app and wallet. One employee, Valeria Mesa should be employee of the month! She went over and beyond to help me with a return issue. She was patient and thorough! It's hard to find service like this! Thank you Valeria!. read more

Let's just say I looked like an a**h**** in front of my god daughter when i went to gift her an Amazon fire tablet this Christmas. Went to open and set it up for her but to our surprise the "NEW" tablet had a passcode, was in Spanish, and had its previous owners profile on its beautiful screen. I don't know who or when somebody dropped the ball here but idk how this store allows people to return electronics that are NOTICEABLY USED. Like they didn't even try to check if the tablet used because if they did the first they would've seen was that it has a PASSCODE! LOLOLOLOL let's just laugh a little people because now I'm the grinch who stole Christmas....no TARGET OF NORTH BERGEN IS THE GRINCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS read more
