SO GLAD we did! Right away we were greeted by Ravi. She greeted us and gave us our space which was great. Didn't follow us around, just reminded us if we have questions to feel free to ask. Ravi was amazing and helped us create our couch. She was able to take the couch we already created from another store and a couch we liked at HSH. Our couch was just delivered yesterday and we couldn't be more happy. Ravi was very attentive and extremely helpful during the process. We'll definitely suggest HSH to anyone looking for furniture!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Modesto…read moreFurniture. My visit to your store left me with an overwhelming sense of regret and disbelief at the level of service and quality offered. First and foremost, the customer service I received was nothing short of abysmal. From the moment I walked through your doors, it was clear that the staff had little interest in assisting customers. No one offered any guidance, and when I finally managed to track someone down, their knowledge of the products was shockingly limited. I expected a professional and informed sales team, but what I encountered was indifference and incompetence. Furthermore, the condition of the furniture on display was appalling. The items were either poorly maintained or outright damaged. It was disheartening to see such a lack of care for the products you are selling. When I inquired about the condition of a particular piece, I was met with vague answers and deflection. It was evident that honesty and transparency were not priorities for Modesto Furniture. To add insult to injury, your pricing strategy is nothing short of predatory. The exorbitant prices for subpar quality left me questioning the integrity of your business. It is disheartening to witness a company taking advantage of customers who are seeking quality furnishings for their homes. In conclusion, my experience at Modesto Furniture was nothing short of a nightmare. Your store falls far short of the standards one would expect when making an investment in furniture. I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to your establishment to think twice and explore alternative options. Your lack of customer service, the deplorable condition of your merchandise, and your pricing practices are a disservice to consumers. I sincerely hope that you take this letter as an opportunity to reflect on the improvements your business desperately needs. Customers deserve better, and I trust that my feedback will not fall on deaf ears. Sincerely, Thomás UPDATE Modesto Furniture's inability to handle negative reviews raises serious concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction. In today's interconnected world, where customer feedback plays a pivotal role, a company's capacity to accept criticism constructively is essential. When a business reacts poorly to negative feedback, it not only damages its reputation but also suggests a lack of accountability and a refusal to improve. In the competitive furniture market, customer trust and loyalty are paramount, and a failure to acknowledge and learn from criticism can lead to a decline in customer satisfaction and trust. Just trying to help but I guess your ego doesn't allow it.

I don't want people coming to my house and recognizing the furniture I have from other stores. I ordered a sectional for my new home (I got to pick out the layout of the sectional, the fabric, and even the fabrics for the accent pillows) and ended up walking away with a new dining table too. I even had the option to have the furniture delivered for a nominal extra fee. The furniture is good quality, and the price is not much more than what you'd pay for furniture anywhere else. I'd highly recommend looking here before committing to furniture from anywhere else. I love just randomly perusing the store every season or so too; it's always changing and always decorated exceptionally well. The fact that they even have sales and a points / reward program is the icing on the cake. Truly thankful to have this store in the Modesto area.
