I love doing drive up at this location! Easy parking, clean store. Today in my drive up, there was a sample of liquid IV and some hi-chews! What a pleasant surprise! My kids loved that. We usually stop by this Target Express after shopping at MV mall if we need to pick up a few items quick. It's a smaller version of a Target store but it also has a small supermarket inside. Stopped by on our way home tonight but I couldn't find what i needed. After waiting for a while, one of the associates told me they don't carry it. Hubby was able to get what he needed. read more

Convenient target right off the I-5 freeway. Easy parking and quick in and out. The store is well stocked even though it's a smaller format Target. It had everything I was looking for. For some reason, the multivitamin that I buy has been scarce lately. I found a couple bottles at this location so I purchased for pick-up. My order was ready but I had to pick it up later so I delayed the pick-up date. I went after work to get my order. There was plenty of parking out front. This is a smaller Target store and it's a bit of a mess. I gave the sales associate my order barcode and she went to find it. The wait was short. You do have to join circle 360, it's well worth it. 14 day trial you can always cancel. Free delivery and walk up pick up. I love this store just big enough to get my household essentials. What we didn't know before entering was that this is a Target Express -- small footprint, limited items. We found one item on our list, but there was no price tag on the shelf. I walked into the Target at Union Marketplace in Mission Viejo looking for a specific item and asked a team member named Maria if it was in stock. She didn't even bother to say hello--just hit me with a rude and dismissive "No, we don't," without a hint of courtesy or even a simple "sorry." It was disappointing, especially since we're around the same age and you'd think she'd be able to show a little basic kindness. Instead, she seemed completely miserable and couldn't even fake a positive attitude. Not the kind of experience you expect from Target. read more

I have been to several Target locations across Socal but this one is by far my favorite. Although the store may be smaller than most, it gives a homey feel and sells everything I could ever want. From phone chargers, to lotion, to energy drinks, this is my go-to target no matter how out of the way it is. One employee in particular really stands out and makes my trip 10 times better. The blonde security guard named Scott may have a difficult job, but seems to rise to any challenge with a positive attitude. Weather hes asking if we are finding everything okay or telling us to have a nice day at self checkout, I find myself hoping he'll be there everytime I visit. This Target is literally the size of a shoebox! There is no true clothing or home department, if that is what you're after. It's like a drug store with the essentials when on a quick run. But what shocked me the most about this location is that they have the biggest black hair care aisle I have seen at any big-box store ever! Not the three shelf segregrated corner like most places. These smaller targets are OK. The location is convenient for me and it is cool that they have quite a bit of groceries. The only downside is they're missing a ton of different categories I think that you might need. It is cool to have a bunch of these popping up but just keep in mind they do not have everything that a large normal target would have. If you need a quick stop in to grab a few items they have. It's nice they have expand the grocery area to have most items. read more

First time here I was checking out this smaller layout and was pleasantly surprised. I feel like they have a good selection of what's most popular and selective about what the consumers want. Now, for the very specific items, I would suggest going to your go-to regular Target stores but this is a great stop if you just need a few things to get you buy and you want a quick in and out stop. Clothing, Toys, Electronics, Homewares, Office/Party/School, Beauty, CVS Pharmacy, Baby, Groceries/Alcohol, were all represented well here. Just enough of what you need in each area. There aren't any books here if you were looking for a new release kids book here so just keep that in mind. read more

This particular Target is across from the Shops at Mission Viejo. The layout and quantity of items in the store are similar to the Target at UCI, as in it seems more like a convenience store than a mass merchandiser. As a result of this they did not have what we were actively scouring Targets for. My friend decided to buy something anyway. The self checkout did not have a lot of people so we could check out quickly and leave. The parking lot was tiny and slightly irritating. There was employee parking only in part of it and the acoustics were so bad we heard a bunch of delinquents trying to conduct some mischief in the back of the building. read more

Someone made up the layout of this target in a dream and then went with it. Everything is spread out in the weirdest way and it feels very dystopian Yes, it was clean. For such a small store, they have the slowest drive up order service. I've tried this location multiple times and each time it's taken more than 15 minutes to receive my order. I've even gone so far as to walk in the store to retrieve my items because the wait was so long. Avoid their drive up service. read more

I was with a friend who was returning an item. Jennifer, a "manager" flat out told him that he couldn't do a same day return even after he explained what had happened. John, an employee told my friend that he could do the return, but Jennifer said in front of John (about John), "Oh. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's new." After going on her radio, she eventually did the return, but she was VERY unprofessional (even scoffing at the idea of even doing a return). If this is how managers treat their customers, there needs to be some serious re-training. read more

This Target is clean, well stocked and surprisingly not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. But it is smaller than the Target stores I've grown used to shopping at in my former community, more the size of a drugstore. What shall I call it - Tiny Target? Target Jr.? Target Express? Since when are customers not allowed to price match and apply a target circle coupon to a purchase??! When I asked her to show me where that is stated in the terms of use, her poor ginger head couldn't find it.... bless her heart. She admitted it isn't written in the coupon tiny text size terms where customers can see on the target app, but swears she read it on a memo in the back of the store. I live about 3 min away from this Target. My husband and I are constantly shopping at this Target. My experience has always been great. Friendly staff, always greeting, clean store. Even though it's smaller than a regular Target, this Target has made our life's easier. If we are out coffee, socks, Advil, bread and other small essentials, we just make our 3 min drive TA-DA! Loving this place in our neighborhood. We are glad that this Target put the empty lot to good use. Target staff, don't mind about the Karens and Darens. It reminds me of what you would find at a CityTarget... although it's smack dab in the center of suburban south county. There are the bare essentials, but nothing "above and beyond." The apparel section is limited... the holiday decoration section was limited... the only section that I really liked was the cosmetics? This Target gets 5 Stars because of Matt at checkout. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and I genuinely felt like he was happy to be at work. I wish more people like Matt existed in this world. Thanks, Matt! (Fresh mozzarella and prosciutto all day!) The store is going through a remodel, so we're all hanging in there until it's done. I went to the store to buy a bottle of liquor and they asked to scan my driver's license. I'm 62 years old, That was my 1st red flag the 2nd was why would I even consider allowing anyone to scan my driver's license. Every supermarket I go into, every Costco I go into, every restaurant I go into, no one ever asked for ID let alone wnting to scan your driver's license. A supervisor was then called in to assist and he confirmed that the store was not allowed to sell any liquor of any kind without scanning a driver's license. I asked him whatever happened to common sense and I told him as I was leaving that I would never shop at the store again. read more

I did a curbside order because they only had limited number of the item and I didn't want to walk in and pick up items. I was waiting in the little pick up area and the worker was like "are you picking up or doing a return" said I was picking up and she said I probably went to the wrong store. Confirmed what store I ordered to and she said it would be faster to cancel it and go in and find it myself and pay for it. I was hesitant and she was like "it could take up to two hours since that's the turn around time" so I cancelled the order, walked in. Found the spot they were at but as I'm looking for them a worker picks them up for my online order that I just cancelled. I tried to explain to her what happened, showed my cancelled order and asked if I could just go pay for them. She says, "oh well I'm almost done so you can just wait for them" and I explained I cancelled the order so I couldn't just wait for them so she said "well we have to go take them over and then bring them back after" so I asked how long and she said she was almost done and they would be restocked eventually but wouldn't let me take them or tell me how long . I waited for about 15 minutes in the store to no avail and can't reorder online since they are out of stock. What a waste of time. I could've waited 10-15 in my car but instead had to deal with this. read more

I really like this target! The employees are friendly and the store is always very clean. They are usually fully stocked but in this day and age I wouldn't blame them for sometimes having empty shelves. They have a great seasonal section with plenty of selections. read more
