This is the only Target ever where I have ever had to pay for parking. I keep reading reviews that this didn't used to be the case for the first hour, but I wonder when they went. As of this past Sunday, January 28th, parking for the first hour was $2.00. Personally I find this ridiculous as it isn't a fancy restaurant or even valet parking. Then again, consider this the norm given that this Target is smacked right in Midtown. Everything in this area is ridiculously overpriced, especially you consider the gentrification that has happened in the area. That aside, this Target is typical. It has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut Express. The layout is a bit odd as you have customer service at the right, but eh, this is a matter of what you are accustomed to. We stopped mostly to get gift cards and birthday supplies, and well, frankly it was on the way. Was surprised to see a lot of variety in women's fashion, but other than that, found this location disorganized. Took forever to find what we needed. Also, there is so much business at this Target that there are no associates around to help you, and so, you are essentially fending for yourself. read more

Criminals !!! First time I went to this exact store they convinced me to sign up for the target discount card . I did . When I returned I purchased Items for over 250$ and the black girl at the register tells me to press NO THANKS I did. I then tell her when do I type in my number , she gets a nasty attitude saying you already pressed no thanks it's too late now . I'm a neighbor and Target is my go to store. However, I stopped going. Lot of people inside this store openly resist to obey the mandatory mask policy. I spoked in several occasions to the security guy and employees walking around and they did nothing. Is very upsetting. read more

This trip was for some groceries. They have a decent produce section and I can always find some greens as well as other veggies and fruit. I wish they would get organic potatoes (any/all varieties) though. My husband loves the (Gardein) pasta with red sauce and "sausage" in the frozen foods section. This exact option is not always available, so I wish this specific option was ordered and available more often. I love that they have all of the Daiya frozen food options for my treat meal. Target has lots of beans - dry and canned and they are offered at a great price. Overall, Target works for some of my basic plant based necessities. read more

Perhaps the only downside of this target is the terrible parking situation. However, it's Miami. Parking sucks in this city and so I am not sure what could be done about it. Anyways, other than that I don't think this target is particularly "inner city" or whatever other reviewers have said. It's always well organized and fairly clean. I've found everything to be very well stocked compared to other targets I've been to in other states. The grocery section is pretty limited (no ginger root?!) but it's also a target...not a Publix. So shame on me for trying to find ginger at a target. The check out lines can be a hot mess but it's like this everywhere in Miami. So no real shocker here. I have no real problems with this target other than the sad parking situation but it will not stop me from going there. read more

I have always heard that the products sold at any given store have much to do with their buyer. I can certainly say that if that's true, they have the crème de la crème of a buyer at this store! While visiting my son recently, my young daughter and I needed to get a few things. Much to our amazement, this is not like our old SuperTarget that closed down earlier this year. It's just not your average Target. Just a few blocks away from the Miami Design District, this is our new great find! What originally started as a get in/get out mission, ended up in a browse thru departments shopping excursion. The clothes are laid out and displayed like a high-end store, the fitting rooms are the nicest of any "bullseye" I have been to, and the employees are professional and courteous. Open till Midnight every day of the week, this is a one-stop shop with a CVS, Starbucks, mobile kiosk, and more. I love the manned self-checkouts too! The only downside would be that unless you want to park in the nearby garage, you have to find street parking, but we got there just in the nick of time and paying through ParkByApp was a breeze. It's a target in Midtown Miami. They have a parking garage. Don't lose your ticket. FYI parking is not free. Almost no street parking. However if you get street parking the shopping carts won't go past 10 feet outside. That won't help you get anything to your car. It is a very large store. Awful. I have been here a few times since moving to Miami. Large female staff congregate in bathroom and hang out. Store has numerous stock employees who don't acknowledge me or ask if I need assistance. Items are overpriced. Cheap quality. Today it was early managers hanging out during morning meeting.... Not even seeing if a customer needs anything. Staff mostly black and Latino. Large male manager about 37 followed me.....I said excuse me so I could check out. He didn't like my tone. This was my favorite shopping place when I lived nearby and even when I moved away. I liked the convenience of having Target, Starbucks, Marshall's and even T-Mobile so close by. However, everything at midtown has gotten so bad. Due to the high volume of people that are always here, I can imagine it's hard to keep up for the limited staff and it truly shows. Anyway, besides that, during the entire 5 or so years I've been coming here, I never saw where there's a designated area for taxi's (where I've seen cars park always), I'll insert a picture to show where there's supposed to be a "clear" sign (it's in the very front of the outdoor parking entrance). It kinda ruins your day when you plan a day of shopping on your off day and it's spent trying to call 5 different towing companies in the area, having to use an Uber (thank goodness for Uber), paying $150 plus a parking sanction of $25 for parking in the wrong spot. Additionally, the ticket machines at this place suck hairy balls. They're always broken or give you faulty tickets (which means you're kinda stuck there wasting time waiting around for someone to help you) and then when I tried asking for help (clicking the assistance button at one of the ticket machines) I was told to go find parking security which are never anywhere to be found and when I finally found assistance, I was literally told "You've already been told to press the assistance button on the exiting ticket machine, what don't you understand about that?". What the hell? Alas, I shall find a different place to shop at and so should you. read more

This Target is less than 10 minutes from Jackson Memorial Hospital. Looking for street parking I decided the garage might be a better choice. Parked on the second floor near the elevator that took me to the front of Target. This store is big and clean. The employees on the floor were very helpful and always smiling. I had to ask for help a few times, shoe department, towels, etc. Covered parking was only $2.00 for the first couple of hours. read more

The free parking days are over. I've come here plenty of times to visit Target, Marshall's, and Ross and lately those visits are becoming more seldom. It's a bit of a jam to access and once I make my way up the steep and narrow entrance ramp, I find myself in a situation where it's an uncomfortably full store with long lines everywhere I look. The appealing part of Target is that it's easier and better than other retailers but this location lost its sparkle when the parking guidelines were changed. It used to be free as long as you were in and out within an hour but now they stiff you no matter what. Good luck if you lose your parking ticket as you'll be charged a hefty fee for a lost ticket. Unless it's absolutely necessary, I'd rather go to another location that's easier to deal with. read more

We were in dire need of tables. I can't really explain that any better, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this might be the one time in my life that I absolutely had to have three or four tables immediately. I parked poorly and ducked inside, frantic. The place is enormous, and I had no idea where to begin. I ran in an arbitrary direction, hoping to come across a sign that would help me, and I came upon a Target employee. Me: Excuse me! Where can I find plastic, portable tables?! Her: Over in D-Block. I paused. Me: The city of brokedown dreams? Where things ain't always peachy keen as they seem? Her: What? Me: What does D-Block mean? Her: Over there. Me: Thanks. There are good Targets and there are great Targets. How do you differentiate, you may ask? Well, wise panda, let me give you some tips from the Tarjet expert: 1. A good target has your regular items, a great target has your seasonal items! Yep, I'm talking pumpkin chobani, pumpkin gum, pumpkin peanut butter....Day made right there! I almost fell down in the aisles from glee. 2. A good target is big, a great target is huge. While it may seem like you walk into Target and you always get lost anyway, there is such a thing as big and bigger. This Target is bigger (....and then there's super target...that's just on its own level entirely). 3. Located at the Shops at Midtown, you can visit Target and get your Marshall's, Ross, and an awesome lunch in! 4. Awesome clothing selection - Yep, different Target locations may carry varied clothing...just a fun little tidbit! Smaller locations usually have much more sparse selection. Found an awesome workout tank at this location! Score! 5. Lines move fast at great Targets...hence, these lines moved fast. Therefore if a number of these factors are met, we can conclude, this is a GREAT Target!!! read more

This Target store has an overall average of 3 stars, and that's about what it deserves IMO. It's adequate, it's convenient to have here if I'm downtown or in Midtown/Wynwood/Design District and need to grab something, and it's conveniently located near a bunch of decent restaurants and bars so you can multitask when in the area. As others have said, this Target tends to be a bit messy/disorganized, there are seemingly never enough registers open for the amount of patrons that are shopping here, and I don't quite understand why they have multiple express lanes when I've never seen them operate more than one, and they sometimes don't have any express lanes open even when it's overly apparent that they should. There's a Starbucks located near the front entrance of the store which is convenient, but again, there are so many eateries and places to grab a beverage in this area, I rarely stop at this Starbucks unless I'm craving one of their drinks (i.e. pumpkin spice latte when in season) or I'm in too much of a rush to stop elsewhere. read more

It's the nature of the beast, I accept it and let's face it, I love it! This Target has a great location in Midtown but it is tough with parking and it's not free parking. No organic foods selection even though they have a giant ORGANIC sign in produce it's basically a few organic salad options. The rest of the produce underneath is non-organic. Unhelpful/I knowledgeable employees. If an employee doesn't know where something is that you ask for they will tell you they don't know but not seek out an answer for you. Their selection in general is less than ideal. I was looking for a broom and bought one of 2 options that came with the dust pan. It ended up having like a 3 foot handle so you had to slump over to sweep. Who wants a broom that short? I returned it. The thing I do like is that they have wine tasting! If I didn't enter this store 5-6 times a week I'm not here at all. Why? I'm really not sure other than the fact that I work near it and there really isn't anywhere else to go. Who doesn't love Target? Yes, it's a little bit more expensive than Wal Mart, but there's something about it that always keeps me coming back. It's like that abusive boyfriend. You say you're never going back to him, but 24hrs later you're back in his arms. Not saying I have a dysfunctional relationship with the bulls eye store, but I probably could find things cheaper, elsewhere. I just choose not to. I feel like this Target is set up differently from any other. I do have issues finding exactly what I'm looking for at times so I just end up buying candles and DVDs. Realizing I bought nothing I needed I stupidly go back the next day and buy more things not on my list. It's a great place for people watching. I love being there on my lunch break, eating a pizza from the take out Pizza Hut (classy) and just taking in the sites. Sites there are to see people. Just spend 5 minutes there and you'll see why. Where do these people come from? I don't care as long as they bring their crazy to the Target for me to watch. I just don't need them in front of me in the check out line. I always have nice conversation with the girls or boys at the register. Sometimes the cashiers eat while they wait on you. Normally I don't mind, but again, Target employees can do whatever. They're like the Marsha Brady of department store employees. They can do what they want. One plus about this place- I've gotten more telephone numbers from being at this Target than any dating site I've ever been on. And they've all been real numbers too. It's like a singles meet up at that place. Regardless if this is 1 star or 5 stars, you're going to go to Target. It's heaven. It's hell. Always greeted with a smile and "hi, welcome"! After 12pm there's normally always lines at every register but they move pretty fast. Inventory is pretty accurate.. If online says it's in stock 8 out of 10 times they'll have it. I always use self checkout and there's always someone available for any register issues. It's a clean store plus great Starbucks staff, they always have new faces but theyre always pretty nice and willing to fix any problems with drinks with a smile. read more

This is a so-so Target. Overall I love Target as a store, but this location is not the most wonderful store. The good: location, location, location! Target Midtown is located right off I-95 / 195 in Midtown Miami. It is very easy to access this store by car because it is so close to the highway. Additionally, there is a LARGE indoor parking lot attached to the store, so you can always find parking. The variety of merchandise at this location is great! I can pick up groceries, go to the pharmacy and buy home products all at one location. I also love the home decor items at this location, they have a very cute set-up. The bad: the service at this store stinks. I always have to wait 10+ minutes in a checkout line. Today it took me 15 minutes waiting in line to return an item. The staff is slow and doesn't seem as motivated as at other Target locations. They can sometimes help me find a product and other times have no idea where to direct me. This is my favorite target bar none. Everything I am every looking for is I stock and easy to find. Often there are great sales for beach products, especially sun screen, because I think this is the closest to south beach. I have been a customer here countless times, and I have noting negative to say about the staff. Intact more often than not the staff is friendly and chatty at the checkout lines, which move along quite quickly. Something I really appreciate. Other times I have had to be in contact with the security and management because of shop lifters, and I have enjoyed dealing with this part of the store as much as any part. On a random note, the Christmas tree light selection here was mammoth this year! I was able to find what I think were the exact ones dad always had as a kid. Oh, and the Starbucks at the front of the store, and free garage parking make sure that this will be the best target around here. read more

This is one of the biggest Target I have been in to, located in Midtown. With accessible parking as well as street parking. Starbucks cafe inside. The ladies helping me in the fitting room were nice but unfortunately they were not that helpful, they were just talking loudly among each other. Plus the are looked very unorganized. I got a wonderful deal in a beautiful red skirt that I can't wait to wear, even the cash register lady loved my skirt and the price. As for everything else, this Target is supplied like most of the ones I'm used to go to. See you next time as always when I visit Midtown! Absolutely terrible service. I'm a huge shopper at Target and my last visit, 9/19/18, was the last one i'll ever make to this location. 1) everything INCLUDING THE BATHROOMS AND STARBUCKS AREA were completely filthy and did not smell too well. 2) I ordered a Starbucks drink, Grand Iced pumpkin spice, and the lady gave me the worst attitude ever because I was redeeming a free reward. Her coworker who made my drink, gave it to me with the whipped cream completely ruined and my drink about 2/4 empty. 3) The employees were on their phones and talking amongst themselves while in line with customers. This review is for an employee. My review is for Jaysen or Jansen (i dont remember exactly), this is a black NICE guy, as soon as he saw me, he asked me if everything was good, i told him yes. But then i went to ask him something, and VOILA!!! he follow me and show me all the coolers Target has, and not only that, he started to scan one by one, to show me the real price, because he said they were not in the right place because customers move everything. Everything was great until it came to the checkout. Me and a friend had a bought a lot since we just moved down. The total was high but not as high as we expected. Luckily we checked the receipt because we would have missed that the person that was checking us out added an UBER card transaction. And a few small items to make the list longer. I'm assuming he thought we wouldn't read it over?! On our part, my friend and I shouldn't have been distracted during the check out but then again he should know right from wrong. I switched from Walgreens to CVS (inside this store) because of health insurance exigencies. It took me a while to realize that this CVS store was inside this Target, but was it a wonderful surprise! Since the amounts of my medication had changed, naturally I some questions. The tech at the counter Gianna was very, very attentive, patient and professional. She had to bounce one of my questions off the Pharmacist Gretel Gonzalez. Ms. Gonzalez quickly came over to address my concerns with utmost courtesy, concern and professionalism. The short, but sweet experience was a bit of fresh air in this town where the notion of "service" seems to have been forgotten by so many. I'm under the theory that if you've seen one Target store, you've seen them all. The exception for this one is that its in Miami, in what is called the Midtown Shops. Its a pretty big store and well laid out. There's also a Ross, Marshall and Nordstrom rack in this shopping development to name just a couple of other retailers, so if you can't find it in this Target, there are other options available to you. I asked one clerk where women's socks were, and she said, over there. Just like home. I wonder if when people tell you "over there" if it clicks in their mind that you wouldn't be asking where something was, if you knew where "over there" was. Bought two pairs of socks for less than $5 and they wanted almost $10 for three pair at a nearby Walgreen's, so in this instance, Target wins. read more
