I had to stop in at Target to see their selection of kitchen garbage cans. I wanted an upgrade from what we have already. I was in luck as they have a decent amount to compare. The one I chose has a step.on pedal with a built in plastic bag holder and a built in fragrance deodorizer. It holds 45 liters of garbage, which is plenty. Mission accomplished. While at Target, we stopped by their Starbucks to get something to drink. This Target store is nice and well organized. The sales staff were friendly and helpful. Christmas decorations are out in full force. Their prices are still decent and have good sales. Parking is just outside the store. read more

Every time I've been here for a drive-up order, the wait is ridiculous. Parking is a pain because the reserved drive-up space has cars parked in it every single time. Then, the street parking is always full, and this target is in such a tight spot. They don't validate parking, so you will have to pay. And the staff aren't very friendly or helpful. The email said that my order was ready for pick up, and now I'm here waiting because my item hasn't yet arrived, only to be told that my order was canceled. Targe' ...three stars is not necessarily bad but rather solid, reliable. This is another of my regular locations whether I order it online through their app or have to make an in-store pickup. Admittedly, one of the reasons this review isn't higher is that as part of Midtown Mall parking isn't free and I'd have to shell out a minimum of $3 for parking. Also like any chain store, there could be more employees around to help me find something. But I've been able to find cold weather sports clothes (to go running when it's 50 out), jeans, polo shirts and other clothing essentials..laundry detergent..and even a paper desktop planner. Such a well-stocked Target! Everytime I have gone, they have had everything I have needed. Not sure if I'm just lucky though. It's a pleasant location to shop and super easy to get to while walking around Midtown. The only downside is having to pay for parking, but the parking garage is only $2 for the first hour and there seems to always be available parking. I've always come to this Target as I live close by. Today, I came in looking for a bottle that was said to be in stock with only 3 left, however, I was unable to find it. I placed an order for pickup at the NW 7th Ave location and arrived to get my items. When I couldn't change my order from pick up to curbside I called for assistance. I was told by the woman that my order could not be changed because it was the last day to pick up my items. I explained that that did not make any sense as I was still within the pick up window. It should not matter if it was the first or the last day. The woman insisted I needed to go inside if I wanted my items or cancel and order from somewhere else. So I did. I placed my new order at miami central and arrived at curbside pickup. I tried to alert the staff that I was there but the app would not allow me to use the curbside option. I kept trying to change from pickup to curbside but to no avail. I called and spoke to Consuella who told me not to worry, she would be right out. She arrived shortly after with my items in tote and happier than ever to assist me. She was friendly and accommodating and made sure I knew that any time she was at the store would be willing and able to help me. When I got here it was a line, but the line was moving pretty fast. They were out of Lysol, but they had hand sanitizer which I need anyway. The store is extremely clean and friendly employees. This Target is conveniently located in the shops at Midtown mall so always convenient if you need to visit other stores, restaurants or even the post office while in the area. Parking can be a little hectic but there are several garages and a lot of street parking. I like to just cross the street and park under the bridge next to Jungle Plaza which is technically where the Design District starts. You can also go West and find street parking on the streets by N. Miami Avenue. The store is well organized and recently they have added a lot of self service checkouts so lines are not as long as they used to be, although the place is usually pretty full due to the location. Now they also have a whole section for make up which seems to be a little Ulta Beauty store. CVS pharmacy and Starbucks are also conveniently located inside the store. The bathrooms are usually a little dirty so there's certainly room for improvement in that area. They offer recycling stations for plastic bags, bottles and electronics. The produce section is decent although there are not many organic options but you can find a good variety of fresh fruits as well as frozen and packaged goods. I absolutely love Target's selection for boys. We picked up some jogging pants, some shirts - button-down and Tees. We also picked up some basic necessities, socks (which he always seems to need), and some underwear for a great price. We found everything we needed as the store was well organized and not crowded at all, considering it was after 10 pm. As we browsed the store almost every employee we walked past asked if we needed any help. I made note of how helpful, accommodating and friendly everyone was. These kinds of experiences are what sets Target apart from similar stores. The change room Target staff were just hanging out talking, there must have been 6 staff there huddled together. Who's managing this store? The food court area with the Starbucks and Target food is the worst I have ever seen. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes and the girl at the cash today told us we had to get in line on the other side. I said, we've been standing here for 5 minutes, can't you just serve us next? She would not. We get in line and wait and wait and when we ordered two hot dogs she told us it would take 30 minutes. Unreal! Very limited parking, except for the ramp and there's very little instruction on how to pay. BUT...... last night one of the most HORRIFIC incidents happened to us at the exit. The payment machine kept asking to re-insert the credit card, over and over and over, no matter what card I tried. Then it didn't give me back the ticket so I could try the other machine. I pushed the help button and here comes a man with his eyes half closed, dragging on my car, and WITHOUT A WORD HE'S GESTURING at me to explain what's going on. As I start telling him, he INTERRUPTS me to ask how much the machine said? I told him I didn't really pay attention, because I come here twice a week and it's never been more than $2. So he tells me : OH YOU DON'T KNOW. WAS IT OR WAS IT NOT $2? My daughter from the car says she saw it and it was $2, to which he responds : "WE" WAS not talking. I told the man at this point that it didn't really matter, I just needed to leave and I would pay the MAXIMUM fee. His answer. NO. (!!!!!!!!!!!!) When I asked him why he was been so rude, he said he is a rude BOY and his mama which he came from was rude so he's rude. Then he said he will not help me and walks to the front of my car where he adds, "I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS COLOR..... " I couldn't help myself and told him if he wasn't such an a-hole, maybe one day he could afford to buy a $200k car instead of standing there being rude and REFUSING to let me leave. I have never met anyone with such an obvious HATING, HATEFUL attitude ever! I was able to find a few things I needed and more disappointedly, the young man that was assisting us left us at the checkout counter to go take a picture of a rapper. This is an okay location. I do not come here as often as often as I used since they changed the parking garage rates. I used to be able to come in here and get what I needed and come out within an hour and not have to pay. I hate paying for parking. Sue me. I did a online pickup order and this was the closest location that had what I wanted. Trust me it was a struggle. I almost considered driving all the way out to Aventura, just to avoid coming here. Nevertheless I came and didn't park in the garage. It was a long line at the guest services counter when I walked in and I was thinking to myself, great. However, as I was waking in a worker was asking if anyone was there to pickup an order and I was able to catch her. I was literally in there for all of 3 minutes. Their prices seem as high as downtown locations, so you might (might) be able to get lower prices in other locations in the area. Usually it is very organized and clean, a reason to shop many midtown Miami stores in the same shopping vicinity. Men's clothing area is super small, though the home decor section is definitely full sized. I will add one time we had a mask break and they were extremely polite and helpful to give me a replacement free of charge rather than guilt trip me like other stores do to people who have forgotten a mask or have a situation that requires a new one. read more
