I've probably shopped more Targets coast-to-coast than anyone else who doesn't work for the company. This one is good but not great. After three visits (why is my Sprint service so bad here that I can't check in?), I've met friendly cashiers each time. It's usually fairly clean, even in the restroom, and things are organized about the same. It never seems to be 100% but it is good. Naturally, the day after Christmas, they were short of a few things. They'll recover soon, although they didn't have that much in October or November. The company seems to play it lean. No matter, I'll shop Target before Walmart or any similar stores. read more

Target is a great place to shop for groceries, clothes, hygiene products, stationary, and more. The array of products they have is very helpful when looking for specific things. I go here a lot to buy stationary and facial products. So far, I have been very satisfied and will come again. If there was two things I would say they would be: costumer service and cleanliness. The way the people of Target interact with one another and the costumer could definitely be improved a bit. I would feel more welcome if the interactions with people and workers was fun and positive. I also would like if the store was a bit cleaner. Maybe that means watching the people in the store or hiring more cleaners, anything would help! read more

I had the best online experience ever with target, unlike with Walmart. I was able to place my online order, and receive it after a few hrs same day & I didn't even have to walk into the store! One of the associates assisted me as soon as I walked up to the entrance and asked if I had a pick up and had someone bring it out to me within a few minutes! I was truly impressed how fast this service was and more satisfied because the product I ordered was extremely limited and I was lucky enough to get it at target! Poor customer service I went to buy groceries for my family and this old white lady was ringing me up didn't even say "hi how are you doing? " just made a hateful face towards me. She drop my ice cream on the floor on purpose and I told her I don't want that no more and she said " oh it's still good. I'm of mix race and I was never been so disrespected in a Target before, I hope she gets fired (JULIE) cause she must be doing this to other people. I will NEVER COME BACK HERE. If you're a Target fan, you probably have a "go-to" Target. This isn't my go-to Target store, but it hasn't stopped me from buying unnecessary items when I only came in for Windex. I can say the staff here are REALLY upbeat and pleasant. Actually, more so than the Elk Grove store. Some people might find this annoying and fake, but you cannot say they aren't about customer service or service with a smile. Because this is the only Target in Lodi, this store is very busy. I wished they moved to self-serve checkouts or open all registers because there can be long lines and claustrophobia can set in when you're standing there. read more

The Lodi Target deserves a solid 4 stars. The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and the layout of the store flows nicely. Target is a feel-good store for me so I tend to visit more often than I need to. I find that some of the items that I am in search of are often out of stock. I spend a lot of money with Target as I really do love their products. However, Lodi Target has gone down in service for quite some time. Should I dare say I get better service in Walmart (and I equally hate the service there)? There is a serious lack of customer service training with their team. None of them even try to be friendly. One girl refused to honor a sale price because she said the tag they had on the shelf was wrong. She tells me her name is Janelle Sousa and she's the manager. Oh yeah right! There is no way she is the store manager. If she is, Target seriously needs to hire quality. She couldn't even tell me or show me store policy! I doubt Target will do anything about this since they are very corporate focused, but they need to keep their image by not hiring incompetent, unfriendly people. read more

I grew up in Lodi and this place used to be my home away from home. I moved away for about 5 years and then moved back to Galt. Every time I walk in this store I feel gross, it feels like they havent updated it since it was built, or at least not since I was in high school. It just seems dirty and the lighting is horrible. Maybe I got spoiled with the one in Rancho Cordova which is very nice and was updated right before I moved there. Its a lot cleaner, the carts are nicer and the lighting is much better. read more

Great location, never to busy, apply for a red card and when you get it save 5% on every purchase everytime you use it. Great management and super friendly staff, everyone is always ready to help you find what you need so never be afraid to ask. This is a very safe location much better than other cities. read more

I always liked this store until today. Today target made me feel like a thief today. I purchased a expensive gaming headset and when I got home and opened the box a entirely different headset was inside. I went back to Target in hopes of exchanging them for the correct one and they told me there was no way that it could have been swapped in store so there was nothing they could do. So now i have spent 160 on something I can't even use. I always thought target was a store I could trust but my faith in there customer service is gone. I would like to thank Kathryn the customer support specialist who has helped resolved my issue I have given the store three stars now because it has been resolved but it was still a horrible situation and no where near a four star job. read more

I love target, It seems like i end up here once a week. Here in town the Target and Wal-Mart are across the street from each other, it's amazing how different the clientele is between the two. Whenever I walk into a Wal-Mart it reminds me of the bar from Star Wars where all the strange creatures are roaming around. I have decided to change my rating to 5 stars when it comes to this store. Especially after the horrible experiences I have had at the Walmart down the street. Target is such a breath of fresh air compared to Wally world. This store is always clean and the majority of the employees are friendly and helpful. The managers here are very helpful as well. I like the fact that they do their best to keep the products replenished compared to Walmart. The majority of the shelf's at that store are always empty or just plain picked over. I walked up to the door and a worker stopped me from going in and said "ma'am I'm sorry we close at 9pm." I showed her my phone that it still was not 9 and that it was 8:55pm and I needed to just get a pick up order. She said oh well we can't help you tonight. I said, so you don't close at 9pm? Unfortunately, the Lodi target has ZERO organization at this time. It has been a stressful period for COVID 19 which has people scared. The shopping experience was fine, but the checkout was a nightmare. The line was going down the main aisle by the office and kitchen supplies. Other people were breezing by trying to cut so I made a point to get the attention of a staff member to see if they could direct people accordingly. The response I received was, "There is no line." At that point you had people trying to smash into each other and beat others to a checkout because they didn't want to wait anymore. Instead of causing chaos, you should have analyzed the situation and started directing people who had been forming a line initially to prevent that from going so horribly. read more

Target is only getting 4 stars due to the ENORMOUS sign on the Slurpee Machine stating: "Please no refills on Slurpee's". Yeah Yeah I know, Slurpee ingredients are expensive and who needs all that sugar anyway! But in the Summer, refilling my Blue Raspberry Slurpee is what I LIVE FOR! I have been to this Target several times over the last month. Yes, I could have saved some money by going to the Walmart across the street, but this store is much cleaner and more well organized. The staff here is helpful and (mostly knowledgeable) about the products they sell. Last night (11/1/14) my fiance wanted to go to the Walmart across the street from Target. While we were there, a fight broke out at the entrance and wannabe gang bangers were throwing beer bottles in the parking lot. Walmart needs to be shut down. That store is also filthy...especially the bathrooms. read more

This place used to be great, but since they've remodeled, they are carrying less and less variety. It is becoming hard to find my usual staples and I am now forced to buy brands I am not used to and don't like as much. They seem to not carry as much of the target brand items as well. The grocery section is always sparce. If this continues, I will have to start shopping elsewhere. read more

This is one of the best Targets that I have found in the area. The staff was friendly and took back my return very quickly. The departments are organized well. Purses are across from clothing, accessories are in the same area. You can find shoes next to workout and pajama clothing. Next to that is lingerie. This makes sense. This is how a Target should be planned out. The place seemed a bit dead, so I wasn't fighting tooth and nail to get the last belt on clearance. All of their clearance items are clustered together in each department. You don't have to guess where to go. And unlike many of the Targets in Sacramento proper, these clothes are organized by size, style and color. No guess work. I came out of here spending $150, so they clearly got this right and made it all too easy to find what I needed and a bunch of stuff that I probably don't. read more

Our Lodi location has gone wayyyy downhill lately. I'm in here at least once a week getting either a cart full of items or just a few things and every time it's the same. A HUGE MESS. Mess is almost an understatement. It looks like tornadoes ripped through all the clothing and shoe departments. Especially the baby section where I spend most of my time. It's AWFUL. I know they're probably understaffed and customers suck most of the time in terms of leaving a mess, but it's ridiculous. Most of the time I can't even walk through a lot of the departments because there's so much stuff on the floor! It's sad because I really do love Target and spend a lot of money here. I don't know if they just need better management or harder working employees but something needs to be done. Even Ross and Marshall's are way more organized and cleaner than Lodi's Target now!! We went to Target to check on cell phones through Consumer Cellular. The guy who assisted us was very helpful and we ened up purchasing service and a phone. I think it would have been to Targets benefit to have an additional sales person plus their computer was down so the entire transaction had to be completed over the phone in the store. I'd leave zero stars if I could. What a joke. I asked about a price match and 3 different electronics employees said that could be done, but it would be at guest service. I've done that before, so I understood. I waited in line for a long time, only wanting to price match one item. Well, I finally get to the front, I'm told, we won't price match until December 4th. Wouldn't have wasted my time and you've officially lost a customer forever. Employees should at least be trained properly or know when certain services are not available. read more

I got some beautiful sandals for my wifi that i couldnt find anywhere else. They had the self checkout which is a lot faster and makes my job easier. So checkout was a breeze. Dont need to wait in thise dang lines for just one item anymore. The experiance was pleasant and the customer servuce was excellent. It was my first time going there so i had no idea where anything was and they hrlped and directed me to the correct isles. Overall i am very satisfied with my experiance there. It's a small town target and if you have been to one you have been to them all. You're going to find most of the same stuff as with every other location. One major difference I have noticed is that the men's clothing section is surprisingly small here and it is usually pretty empty of product. I'm not really sure why as everything else seems to be about normal. This location isn't anything special, but it is 1,000,000,000 times better than the ghetto walmart across the street. With so few options in Lodi if you need something close and easy it will do. read more

My review is for the Starbucks/food area. Employees are rude and have no reason to yell and kids and make em cry because they over flowed the icee machine. Understaffed and ha e one person working the Starbucks and food counter is a joke. This target should be better with the great location and how busy they get. read more
