I love Target. I have no problems with this location. I always find what I need and I have no problems returning items. In my experiences, the times that I needed help from the employees, they were nice and professional. The only complain that I have is not their fault: I go in to get milk and I leave the store with things that I didn't know I needed such as toys, candy, pajamas, wrench, Christmas lights, socks, etc. read more

This Target is a nightmare! I completely understand the world is upside down right now but there is no excuse for this! My fiancé and I purchased a 300$ TV online and quickly received an e-mail saying it was ready for pick up. 2 days later we go to pick it up, patiently waited on the order pick up line. The young boy took our order number and disappeared for OVER AN HOUR! I had asked another employee twice and her response was "oh they're looking for it". So we proceeded to wait outside, until an hour and a half later 2 employees come outside to tell us they don't have the TV in stock AT ALL. They offered us 2 awful branded TVs instead, which we refused. We agreed to wait until it came in and I requested a 50$ discount. They kindly agreed. Today we now received an e-mail saying they cancelled our order entirely!! Now we had paid for the TV with both a debit card and a gift card. The email said the card would be refunded but said nothing about the money lost from the gift cards. My fiancé has now been trying for over an hour to reach Target customer service and they keep hanging up on him!! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

I always have gone to this target and there has never been any issues but I tried there pick up option for the first time. I'm not sure wether they even looked or just were too lazy to even try. But I ordered two same pans for pick up. They gave me two different ones because they said they were out of the ones I wanted. I go to this Target and never have an issue with staff. Today a rude lady was in electronics. I asked for a price match with Walmart. She said it wasn't in stock at Walmart so she can't do it. Showed her on my phone where it was in stock and in my cart. I asked if there is a difference between in stock at a local store or Walmart.com? She told me not to put words in her mouth, I said I am asking you a question I'm not putting words in your mouth. She said let me go ask someone else. She comes back and says I WAS RIGHT YOU CAN NOT DO IT. What I don't understand is why have a policy you will not follow if a hand held will not work properly. I had the Walmart app up on my phone not a screen shot, with the correct item and model. So I was rude to her and said I don't want the item. I did ask for someone else to talk to and she told me it was only her. I did hear another associate in the store that was on the walkie telling her to tell me something but I already walked away. She was nicer and told me I could ask someone at customer service. I wasn't given that option with the other lady bc she didn't want to resolve the issue. I should have known not to go to her because the person in front of me had a issue with her as well. She needs to be retrained on store policies and her attitude towards customers. This Target location is one of the cleanest I've ever been in. The floors sparkle as you enter the bright green automatic doors, as if they are the pearly gates of Heaven. Sadly, they are not. The store has stocked shelves, that are as neat and clean as Detective Monk. The staff are abundant, know their stuff and most importantly, are willing to assist you. I still miss you Target! Shopping in Queens is a bummer, but I'll never forget my love for this Target location. Recently, the Target has completed its renovations to include a new marketplace produce section. How cool is that? On the down side, the aisles are now non-linear. I used to love to walk up and down each aisle in a line formation, but now, the place is like a PacMan game, with no particular path to take. Still, Target has a huge clearance section on clothes (probably because of the rennovations?) I simply can't beat these prices at other Targets. This Target's various clearance locations can't be beat at other Targets. You would think the same items should be priced the same, but I find that not all Target items are discounted and if they are, they are not always discounted at the same price. This is why I appreciate this Target even more. Despite the new change which I'm not used to, I still love this Target. I'm just going to have to get used to its new layout. This target USED to be super amazing, like 6ish years ago, which is why I'm shocked by all the recent positive reviews. I feel like there's been new management/a change in target practices & this store has taken a severe nose dive compared to how it used to be. This store is seemingly always a disaster every time I come in from shelves being messy to items being mispriced/no price stickers, shopping carts of merchandise (especially in the clothing section)/pallets of merchandise everywhere & a lot of out of stocks or not enough stock in general. Even the bullseye section when you first walk in, which is a great impulse section, the first section facing the shopping carts, only 1 of the 4 shelves had merchandise on it last night. Also, you can see burn marks on the tiles from cleaning machines, 1 of the aisles by the pharmacy/optical area is especially bad. This store is showing it's age (I believe it's 20 years old now). Also let me mention that I was denied a raincheck a while back, but the target in copiague had no problem providing 1. So I came here last night with 2 returns. There were no employees at the customer service but *6* employees standing around by the registers talking, which isn't a good look from a customer standpoint. Customer service COULD be good depending on who the get. The female employee manning the self checkout (by Starbucks) was nice but then again, there's usually 2-3 cashiers (visit before this, there was ONE cashier) so you're essentially forced to go to self checkout. My go-to location. Everything is fairly organized in this store. Whenever I'm looking for a particular item, they usually have it in stock. Even though this is a mega version of other Targets, I feel like their selection is smaller than expected. Their women's section needs more space for sure. They have a Starbucks inside which is a nice addition as well as their own "food court". However, I wouldn't buy anything from there. As well as the workers are friendly and helpful with all of my questions. I really like Target. Despite their most recent publicity problem, I thoroughly enjoy their products and selections. This Target used to be so convenient for me as I am always in the Levittown area, but since I saw a mouse in the produce section, I will not consider coming unless it is the only store that I can get my certain item within a driving distance. It's a nice target, typically clean, besides their disgusting bathrooms which almost always have waste on the floor and smells disgusting. Their product stock is either too many of one thing or absolutely nothing in the store depending on the day of the week that you go. They have some cute items, as every Target does, but their managers are rude and don't care about the employees. My mom always complains about how she has so many pictures of our dog but none of all four of her children. For her birthday, my siblings and I decided to take professional pictures for her. We had no expectations of the experience and finished product but we are happy with the results! Our session took about 15 minutes and the kind photographer put us in plenty of cute poses. She was very professional and made us feel comfortable. We expected to pay a $10 sitting fee per person (4 people) but each was waived. We got (2) 11x13s and (5) 5x7s for $26 dollars! My mother loved the photos so much. They did take a week to get developed but for the price, it is totally worth it. The only negative thing is that when I sent my brother to pick up the photos, they suggested he purchase an optional picture package. He agreed but the pictures in that bunch were a lot of tacky creations that we could have done without. That package cost $20, which is not much of a loss but I respect a business more when they do not pressure you into buying additional merchandise. read more

I just left this Target location after picking up a couple of things I needed. I proceed to self check, not because its card only, but because I've always used self check out. Anyhow, an older man was scanning his things and began to pay and with CASH. The girl working self checkout hurried over to him and said, "Sir, this is no cash over here". He didn't realize it and basically was like, screw it. He put more in and she turned and said, "well, you're not gonna get any change". This target is always, always a huge mess. I don't understand because every other target I've ever been to has been very clean and organized so I don't know how this location doesn't get in trouble. There are always tons of shopping carts full of merchandise blocking tons of aisles and blocking access to huge sections of stuff. Isn't this a safety/fire hazard? It makes it extra difficult to get thru the store with your own cart. Next the employees are constantly in the way with huge carts and are extremely rude and don't care if they cut you off or run you over! You can say excuse me, and they'll just ignore you until you about face. Nobody greets you or is helpful at all. Their little target cell phone gadgets are super loud and constantly going off. There is good news, no, great news. 1st, the place is very clean even after a Sunday rush. It did have 80+% of what I wanted. They have these really creepy security guards that always seem to keep an eye on you when your shopping, its kind of uncomfortable and awkward cause its very obvious that there just lingering around you. There is a really odd smell as soon as you walking in. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it in a review. In fact when I say I am going to Target and my husband asks which one. We call it the "burning smell Target" hahaha and he knows exactly which one I am talking about. There must have been a fire here near the corridor some time ago and the odor still lingers. Luckily that smell is just contained to the entrance and does not surround the entire store. For someone with an accute sense of smell like mine, things like this really bother me. In fact I have actually had headaches from certain smells before. It's not fun. Enough about that.... The store itself is well stocked and the layout is slightly different than the other Target's in the area but the one thing that stands out about this Target is the fact that they usually have more cashiers on duty than any other Target. The prices are nearly the same but the Hicksville Target still beats them on certain items. I still favor the Hicksville and Westbury Target's over this one. read more

The staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile to make sure you have found what you were looking for.
