I'm a HUGE fan of Target for the most part. I have shopped at Targets all over the US and find them cleaner, the lines always shorter and good quality products for me to spend my money on. This Target is odd, it almost changes faces at different times of the day. I'm a little nervous about this as this one is closes to my house. During the day it's normal, clean and like any other Target, but at night around 6pm on it almost becomes like Walmart, with trashy looking people, dressed in their pajamas and rough looking, the store to looks messy and unkept... Overall for everyday products and stuff I can't find on Amazon I shop at Target! read more

This Target location is so much better than the locations in Sterling and Ashburn. Their shelves are actually stocked and it's not ever messy. It's also a Super Target, so you can do your grocery shopping and get your Starbucks on too while you're there. Watch out, because it gets pretty crowded on weekends. read more

Pretty standard large Target - complete with a grocery store as well. Located in a big shopping center with lots of parking, also next to a Costco and Kohl's if you're like me and want to do lots of shopping at once. Since there aren't many Target's in my part of Maryland, we usually hit this one in Leesburg when we are out and about at the outlets or after a day at the wineries - that's one way to make your shopping trip easier! The only slightly negative thing I'd note is that for some reason not many registers are open, which can result in some lines, as well as the wondering of why only 4 registers out of 25 or so are open on a weekend afternoon. But otherwise, the staff, products, and nice looking store is up to the usual Target standards. read more

I was looking for an Outdoor Table, Found 1 at Target in Leesburg. It's so pretty, has a nice print on the surface. When I checked out it was too heavy to lift up, the cashier got a nice young man to bring it out to my car & placed it in the backseat. Went to this Target the day before Thanksgiving for a flu shot and to pick up a few items. The clinic was very efficient and clean, and can't be more convenient. The nurse practitioner who administered my shot was very professional. Oscar was my checkout associate, and was very friendly and polite. Noticed an employee out in the parking lot picking up trash as I walked back to my car. There are a lot of places to shop in Leesburg, but Target pays good attention to detail. I live around the corner from Target so I am usually here at least once or twice a week. I usually debate between Walmart and Target comparing prices but they aren't much different from each other, to be honest. Sometimes Walmart may be a few cents cheaper and sometimes Target may be cheaper, but I tend to find Target much more organized and stocked than Walmart. Overall, it's a good place to shop, never had issues here. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The restrooms are always clean as well. Plus, with my Target Red Card and Cartwheel App, I tend to save a bit more shopping here. They are a bit pricey, but I usually but items on sale and of course I am always using coupons to save a bit more. Their meat selection is not that selective and a bit pricey, so for meats, you are better off going to your local supermarket. Overall, great place to shop. read more

Customer service here is really wonderful...that being said it Is truly rude that you make these poor cashiers ask if people want a red card and if the customer says no, your pushy...not cool! I had a cashier ask me if I had a blank signed check you could use to process my new red card...what? I said to her..do t you think your being a tad forward? Don't ask me or anyone that ever! Great store, one of my favorite things about target is that you can actually see that target has good customer service, and have actually had some type of customer service training, as appose to other competitor stores. (I live in Indiana, where we can buy hard liquor at CVS but nothing on Sundays. So there's that.) My only complaint was the lack of cashiers. The associates are great and helpful to me all the time I like the new look although I can't find an item easily but I love it , finally I can say there is a store with nursing room which you don't have to cover your self in public or go to a fitting room to breast feed your baby when you go to shopping with your baby . It's always busy here, the lines are long, and I'm not a fan of the gender neutral bathroom policy. I asked at customer service several months ago, because I didn't want to take my daughters into the restroom and have men coming in. They told me that I could use the family bathroom by the pharmacy, but it was gross, and I just decided not to give them my business after that. read more

We seem to be here about one a week. It's clean, fully stocked and usually has what we came in for. It's nice to have that close to home.

I used to go to the Leesburg Target all the time as I live less than 5 minutes from there and I have a toddler and another baby on the way, so we're always in need of something. It was super convenient for everything I needed! Well, not anymore! The new layout is horrible. You can't even push a cart through the majority of the baby clothes section, and the rest of the baby section is also an absolute mess. Car seats and strollers used to be displayed on a shelf with the boxed item below or beneath it on the shelf. Now, there are just boxes sitting randomly on the floor alongside the display items (which are also on the floor). Also, since the renovation, this Target is CONSTANTLY out of items. I was there 3 nights ago and got so frustrated. Literally every grocery aisle I went into had areas where items were completely out of stock. In addition to that, this Target now frequently keeps expired perishable items on their shelves. I needed a half gallon of milk, and several of the jugs expired on Dec. 30th. Note that I was there on December 31st. I also made the mistake of grabbing a container of cottage cheese without looking at the date, and when I got home, I realized that the date on the container was Dec. 28th! Speaking of the grocery aisles, other than the freezer aisles, the grocery aisles are SO narrow. You can barely squeeze 2 carts past each other. Since the renovation, I almost never go to Target anymore. I can't wait until the new Super Walmart opens in Leesburg. read more

Cudos the the management for their staff! I left my wallet with cash, in a shopping cart in the parking lot on May 25 in the morning. One of the staff found it and turned it in to the customer service desk. I did not realize it until about 5:00 pm, I picked up the wallet about 6:30 and it was intact (including the cash). Last night I carried a case of Budweiser that was left in the bottom of a handicapped cart into your store hoping that the purchaser would call and claim it. I asked the lady at the service desk if I could leave my name and number just in case it wasn't claimed. She said I could but that I would have to pay for it. I don't understand how you would want me to pay for it since it was already paid for. At that point it didn't belong to Target anymore. Is that store policy? read more

Went to the Starbucks inside of Target and ordered two drinks with my daughter. My daughter and I along with a male customer noticed a mouse scurrying along the front counter/display case (the male customer asked if we saw the mouse in which we did). Told the Starbucks staff to shut it down as there was a mouse and I was going to inform management. Asked a cashier by the name of Summer to call for management as there was a mouse in Starbucks. Ten minutes later, two managers, Brandon and Lisa, walked up. My daughter and I informed them that a mouse was seen in Starbucks and where it was seen. I also highly recommended to them to shut Starbucks down to clean, inspect and to get rid of the mouse. Lisa said it was because the door on that side was open all day (not a good reason). I did ask for my money back. Last time my family and I not only go to Starbucks but to this Target. This Target is a superstore which means that it sells groceries. Definite reason to shut it down. read more

The new remodel is horrible! Half the grocery aisles are now narrow, poorly lit and strangely organized, with similar items scattered (coffee and tea, for example, are three aisles apart). The layout of perpendicular sections makes it difficult to see other areas and forces shoppers to wander and follow each other like mice in a maze down the narrow aisles. The well-trafficked seasonal section is too small and cramped. Meanwhile, the less-traveled sections have wider aisles and plenty of light - it makes no sense. Forget trying to shop while restocking is going on - I had to skip narrow aisles that were completely clogged by employees and their carts. Even the sightlines in the parking lot are blocked by overgrown landscaping (and I drive a truck). I used to plan a big, aisle by aisle trip to pick up various items at decent prices - no more. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration. read more

Negative- I purchased some clothes I found on the clearance rack at Target and checked out at the express lane. When I got there the woman at the counter practically man-handled my clothes- ripping the hangers off of them and wadding them all up in a bag. :( She was very impatient when my first method of payment declined and just not friendly. Positive- I sat down to fold my clothes after paying and noticed one of the sweaters I just bought was really ratty looking. So, I immediately went to return it and the customer service guy was very nice despite the fact that he was alone and the line wouldn't stop. The store was dirty and obviously understaffed and the dressing room was a wreck, but this *is* Target. Some staff are friendly some are very rude; that's how it is most everywhere. While I think their groceries are too expensive, I sometimes go here because of their deals on non-food items (like the clearance rack!) But don't even try going here on a weekend, you'll drown in a sea of traffic! read more

I grocery shop for a family of six, spending 800-1200$ a month at the Leesburg Target. It is a great place to shop, usually I am in and out in an hour on Saturday afternoon. The staff are great and the store is never too crowded to be frustrating. One benefit to grocery shopping at Target is that it is easy to pick up anything else you might need from a department store. My one gripe is that they occasionally discontinue some grocery items that my family really wants, such as certain breads, frozen items, coffee sweeteners, baking ingredients, etc. But overall I would recommend the Target over any of the other Leesburg grocery stores. read more

This target employs thieves and their biggest is a manager named Michael(refused to give last name). Friday afternoon i picked up 12 items off of the shelf and proceeded to checkout. Once items were scanned it turned out the product was not to be sold until the following Monday, disappointing until manager (didn't catch her name, she was nice) offered to put on hold till that Monday, awesome! Well it wasn't. Manager and thief Michael opened the door for me at 8 a.m. . I let him know i was the one picking up the items put on hold, He stated that they sold some on Saturday, they never had 12 and that i could only get 1..excuse me...!!!! whaaaa????!!! Friday they are all out for any one to buy any amount , come Monday they sell half of what I put on hold and don't allow more than 1? Michael refused to show me the hold paper i signed with how many of which product i put on hold and lied to my face about the number of them, I physically carried up 12 items and Michael stated they only got 6 to begin with. Michael is both a thief and a liar, What i believe transpired was Michael took half of the products on hold by me due to the desirability and collectability of items. I cannot see any other reason for the blatant lies to my face from Michael. I promised 8 friends this item due to having on hold and i wont break imy promise like Target does. I now have to go to multiple targets to fulfill my promises and I will then be done with Target.!! shocking that target finds it acceptable for the stl to bully his employees. when the employee complains to the chain of command it is ignored, quite disappointing. especially, considering this stl has bad mouthed the military, which the spouse of the employee is employed by, openly. his remarks, "we let him go because he is the typical military type!" , when questioned why a stl in training left. in addition, after surgery by a military surgeon when the employee commented that they were still in pain, he commented to the spouse of the military employee, 'what do you expect from a military doctor" this was reported to the headquarters of target and they ignored this. perhaps target does not support the military or the employee being bullied!! shame on you target!! if it were possible to score less than one star than i would do this!! please spread the word that target approves of bullying and bad mouthing the military!! read more
