Has anyone else noticed they're scamming hard here? Be really careful to check the prices when you check out, literally everything in the store scans for way higher price than what's listed on the shelf. When I tried to get it refunded for the price difference the employee said the system wouldn't refund and said I got the item for less even tho the recipient clearly showed I didn't. Picked up our order from target today with the app. It was very quick today. Some days we have to wait a bit but over all it's way better than the Walmart curbside pick up. I appreciate the 2 hour window and they are usually quick about it. I've also returned items in store and it was quick and easy. I however would like to see more inventory in the dollar section. It's not a super large target but would like more variety in the grocery section. I will however complain about the amount of cashiers. Every time I go I have to wait in super long lines of more than 3 customers long. Sometimes the self check out has more than 10 people waiting to check out. They never have enough cashiers to help with the long lines. Plenty of registers not enough cashiers. read more

Target is going the way of K-mart. It's amazing to me that corporate/management don't see that the reason that people don't just use Amazon for everything is because sometimes you really need something as soon as possible. Local convenience will always keep a brick and mortar store open IF they have stuff. This Target does not, in fact, have stuff. They have the illusion of stuff. It doesn't matter what you need, if you need it they will not have it. I just tried to get my 10 yr old son some shoes and pants, should that be so hard? I'm not looking for rare Pokémon here, guys, just pants and shoes. I see a horribly messy shoe aisle, with nothing for sizes 3-5 for boys shoes. I lots of pants, but all either toddler sized or "skinny" jeans. Wanna buy a toy for your kid? Unless it's Lego, they don't have it. And if they did, you wouldn't know because everything is horribly organized and strewn about. Again... Like Kmart was in its final days. Look at the writing on the wall. I am loving this target. It was super clean. The employees were super nice. They had the best cleaning supplies the best food, their clothing was all hung up, not laying on the floor. There floors were clean. Their vegetables were fresh. They had color pop make up. I can't ask for more in the store the value and the cost was great. Horrible service, never seen more than 2 of the 12 checkout lines open, they have half of the self checkout closed with some guy standing there doing nothing. Went to customer service to purchase two small items, attempting to avoid a half hour wait, hoping they would you know, service me, a customer, but the shaggy haired kid that referred to himself as "the boss" said he wouldn't be able to help, because if he did, he would have to service other customers as well. I laughed and dropped my stuff, went across the street to Safeway and got what I needed in less time it would have took waiting in line. Don't shop here till they hire better people. I went to Target thinking it would be a pleasant shopping experience on August 25, 2023 at about 8:30 am. I went in to purchase items for my rental investment property. Right before I checked out a shift manager spoke very rudely to the cashier. I heard and saw the shift manager tell the older cashier "You'll have to ask your co-workers." The older cashier was only doing her job. It was horrible and rude. Who raised this savage? Can you imagine how the shift manager treats us paying customers?!!! The people stocking supplies in the store and the older cashier were 5 stars. The shift manager on August 25, 2023 at 8:30 am was horrible. 0 stars. Upper management and corporate should be watching this savage of a shift manager. This Target is an absolute mess, literally and figuratively. I went in on a Sunday and parts of the store were an absolute disaster. Shelves were 2/3 bare and what was on the shelves was a total mess. There were stocking carts blocking aisles all over the store with no one around working. The worst part is the checkout process. They had no where near the number of registers they should have had running and the people working were slower than molasses. They had all of the self checkout registers closed and the sign saying they were closed was placed at the front of the line so no one waiting in line could see it until you got to the very front. The line for what people thought was self checkout was going back about 20 people deep and when they got towards the front and saw that self checkout was closed everyone was getting very frustrated. When I got to the register I asked the checkout girl why self checkout was closed she just said "a lot of reasons". I then said that they should move the sign saying that self checkout is closed to an area that the people in line could actually see it because everyone was really frustrated and she just said, "it doesn't matter where we put it, people won't read it". They just so obviously don't care about providing even slightest level of decent customer service and it made me never want to come back to this store again. The manager of this store and everyone working here should be completely ashamed of how awful this store is. read more

The prices on their tags are not the same when scanned at checkout. I've been noticing this is happening a way too often to be considered a mistake. They're doing it intentionally (price gauging). It could also be fraud. The store is nice but the prices are too high and misleading. read more

The store is a little messy and Unkempt. Otherwise it's alit better than any other target I've been in. The items they have for men's grooming is fantastic. So many creams and oils it's hard to just choose one. This is surprising since most stores have one or two items for men's beards. I'm an avid Targét shopper, and this location is by far my favorite. It's current remodel has kept a fresh interior that does a great job at pulling in millennials such as myself. As far as the cleanliness and organization of the store, it's OK. most big box stores can't keep up with the foot traffic, I get it. When you compare it to the Marysville location it may as well be a high end boutique lol. Lake Stevens Target not only looks nicer and is better-kept but also has a nice collection of bourgeois products when I feel the need to pamper myself. From a better collection of top shelf spirits, fancy mouthwash, (check out MOON products, they rock!) & an awesome home decor section, you really don't need to go to any other store in LS. Just be careful, you might come out spending more than you anticipate! read more

I've been here several times in the 4ish months I've lived in Lake Stevens. Sale prices regularly don't come up accurately at the register. It's almost as if one needs to take a picture of the sale tag while standing in front of the item to show as proof when checking out. Very annoying, especially because you have to make sure everything is ringing up correctly. Today three separate "sale" items rung up at their normal price and I had to ask for assistance three separate times while at self checkout. The clerk was nice, but actually questioned me, as the sale price did not come up even after she scanned with her fancy device. I think they're leaving sale signs up too long or something. If you don't pay attention, you will definitely pay more than what you thought. Never had this problem at a Target before. Seems to be specific to this location. read more

Avoid the red-headed employee in the electronics department named Wendy. So needlessly rude... Customer service is not for you if you can't handle a few questions regarding a product. This is the second time I've had an unfriendly experience with her, and it's starting to feel a little bit personal. I asked about the different models of iPads in stock, and she kept giving me these short and vague responses, not even making any attempt to sell me an iPad. I told her if she can explain more in depth, and she told me in the rudest tone, "or you can just look it up yourself." I said I'm just going to go check out another place" and she said "K" and immediately proceeded to turn around and walk away. I get that places are understaffed, we're in a pandemic, and it's the holiday season, but is it too much to ask to be spoken to like a person? I'm not really sure what's going on here at the store. I stoped in today (February 17th) to pick up a couple things. I went up and waited in line at the self checkout. The man finished and I was waiting for the employee to clean the area. She looked at me and said go ahead and check out. I replied are you not going to sanitize the check station. The employee said no we don't do that anymore. I replied that's strange you require us the wear a mask and social distance ourselves, BUT you don't clean the check stands. How discussing. I requested a manager and he said, well we are not required to and we do our best. I'm not really sure what he means by "Our Best". The Lake Stevens Target has been around quite some time and years back was turned into a Super store (so they sell groceries). They have an optic center, photo center, portrait studio, pharmacy, food court and Starbucks. This store was my go to place. For a good 10 years all my debt was from shopping here....baby items, back to school, household needs, personal hygiene, work out clothes, shoes, wallets, pet supplies, birthday supplies, kitchen gadgets, bathroom towels, beach towels, last minute gift ideas, gift cards, It was convenient, it was clean, and it was affordable. The only reason I stopped shopping here is because we moved a little more north and I'm right next to Walmart (which I hate....but convenience is everything). The one thing I still completely rely on Target for its their photo center. I can walk in, print out some photos either for personal use or gifts, and walk out. I don't own a Costco card (I know they are cheaper, you can order online, and pick up in an hour). But Target has always been great for getting my photos I need...especially last minute. I can grab everything else I need while I'm there and check out on the photo center to avoid the front register lines. That makes me extra happy! They've always had nice, friendly employees (minus a few that aren't there anymore) and are usually well stocked on items. read more

I have shopped at this target store [lake stevens for nearly two years now. It has always been a productive experience, until now. Now meaning the remodel. The remodel was a remodel of prices as in more expensive, and a remodel of groceries, as in half the grocery items are now nothing nut continual empty spaces on shelves that have been that way since the remodel. Their excuse is .... oh well we have been behind since thanksgiving because we had a rush. Meanwhile nearly two months later... the shelves are STILL half empty. I love Target's merchandise and how they set up their stores. Unlike many large "super" style stores, I always feel relaxed in Target. The only reason I am kind of "meh" about this particular Target is their lack of coupon-friendliness. As a good steward of my family's money, I coupon. I am an honest couponer but am always made to feel like either a dishonest thief or a complete irritant to the Target cashiers. I really don't get it. Target gets reimbursed for the coupons I use by the manufacturers. Why such hate Target cashiers? Today as I stood in the return line the woman ahead of me was attempting to return 2 brand new car seats which would not fit her car. They gave her back her money and told her the seats would be trashed! Although I understand that company policy protects us from purchasing possibly used items from the Baby Department I do believe this is a terrible waste!!!! I have used the Target pharmacy in Lake Stevens several times for different members of my family. No matter how many times I use it, there is always issues. They are extremely busy all of the time. When there are no people in line, they are still busy. It seems extremely unorganized. One time they gave me half of a box of medication because someone that works there took some of the medications out of the box to give to someone and never replaced it. They had to reorder more medications so it took several trips back to complete the prescription. Today I had to go back three times because there was confusion. Each time they said it would be a 20 minute wait. On the second trip, they said they would page me when it was ready but the page never came. I ended up calling them back and 2 hours later, it was ready. However, they didn't mix one of the meds so I had to wait ten minutes while they figured that out. I go to the Target pharmacy because it's cheaper than Haggen's Pharmacy. However, you get what you pay for. Haggen's is faster and more organized. There are less people too. The service is friendly but you can always tell when there is an issue. The person at the counter speaks to a pharmacist and they have a huddle. Then the person comes back to give the news. It's so obvious that something is wrong. Next time I need medications, I will go back to Haggen's or try Bartell's. read more

Reviewed prices for Cyber Monday to finish my shopping for granddaughter. One of the options advertised was to pick up in store, so since I live close to the Target in Lake Stevens and shop there often I went to the store to get my items. When I went to check out I was told they would not honor the Cyber Monday prices. So my choice is to go home , buy on line and come back to Target and pick up the same items I just tried to purchase. Bought a floor model tv that died a month after purchase. It was a week or so too late for a refund so we needed to reach out to TCL (tv brand) for our refund. According to them we needed proof of purchase (very understandable). This issue was the lake Stevens target would not give us proof of purchase unless "Matt" their security guy was working. We tried to get ahold of "Matt" at least a dozen times at all hours of the day and this security guard apparently is never available. We ended up having to contact corporate for our proof of purchase only to find out the serial number on our tv does not match the serial number on the proof of purchase. This is because the idiots grabbed a random box and put our tv in it. So the scanned serial number when rung up doesn't match the tv's. We are out over 500 dollars with a useless tv sitting in our living room due to the carelessness of the employees. I am amazed at how similar my experience is to Dana's. I have been using the target pharmacy for about nine years and never had a problem until a few months ago. I came to drop off a prescription around 1 o'clock and they told me that they go to lunch at 1:30 so that it wouldn't be available until after they came back from lunch at two. I said that was fine and that I have some shopping to do in the store and I would be back at 2 o'clock to get the prescription. When I came back at 2:15 they told me that they had quoted me 3:45 to pick up the prescription. I had to wait another half an hour to get it! Yesterday I went to the target pharmacy knowing that they were going on lunch and showed up early to make sure I could get the prescription before they left for lunch. After getting excuses about all sorts of problems over and over I finally got the prescription at 3 o'clock. I ended up dealing with at least for pharmacy technicians. I told him that my husband had a doctors appointment to be at in half an hour and then I was in a huge hurry the pharmacist still took her time coming over to me to explain the medicine. she could've cared less about my time and my problems. I never even received an apology. The worst thing about it all is that when I got home last night I realized that I was short a dose of my sons narcotic liquid pain reliever. So many things to vent about this store. If you are a toy collector (action figures, Funko Pops, Dorbz, etc...) do yourself a favor snd save yourself some aggravation and hassle as this store caters to its unethical employees first. I say this because the employees consistently cherry pick the hard to find sought after collectible items for themselves. They don't stop there though. They go as far as dishonestly buying the product before its allowed sellable date giving people 0 chance of getting anything good. When confronted about this situation the stores management excused it as a mistake (yet it happens on a regular basis here) and seems to continue to allow it to happen. Wouldn't surprise me if they were part of it. Bottom line is I chose to shop at Target. I do not NEED to shop at Target. If they Woolf rather have the business of their employees instead of actual customers then so be it. My money will be spent elsewhere as there are so many Target like stores in the snohomish county area and plenty of places to shop online. Way to go Lake Stevens Target. Bravo. read more
