My husband and I have been in and out of this Lafayette store many, many times since we moved back…read moreto LA a few years ago. Because we have such a restricted amount of space in our bedroom, it has taken us over 2 years to finally find dressers and a mule chest that would fit our need, and the set was found at this location. And even though its' price point is higher than your average Home Furniture, etc., we decided to spend our hard-earned money at this store b/c it was made with solid wood, and it is also known to be a LA, Christian-owned company. We try our best to shop locally as much as possible in an effort to keep money flowing in our communities. Here's the gist of our recent experience...We had been working with Keisha, a wonderful sales rep., who has been very patient and friendly with us this whole past year. She was always very pleasant, helpful (never pushy), and she actually returns your calls. Sounds crazy, but it is true. Well, our purchase turned out to be a not-so-great situation, however, this location is not to blame. When we showed up at the store after the second delivery debacle, we honestly weren't expecting to be treated any better than what we went through with the Covington "Warranty Dept.". Kyle, the Lafayette store manager, looked us straight into our eyes and listened intently and professionally as my husband and I explained the entire saga. We could not have asked for a more understanding, genuine response of regret than what we received with him. He was hands-on and very involved, which is rare and refreshing. He could clearly see that we were just asking for a fair and respectful resolution for a problem that we did not cause, and he gracefully gave us one. Kendrick, the warehouseman who was involved at the end of this situation, was also a pleasure to deal with. He was polite, patient, and very helpful. Our impression of him was that he doesn't have an easy job, but he is clearly grateful for it. We want him and the owners to know that we appreciated him as well. In summary, we are hoping the owners take note that they have a manager in Lafayette who cares about quality, integrity, providing great customer service, and professionalism. Although we had a very negative experience with the furniture and delivery response in Covington, it is because of our positive experience with Kyle, Keisha, and Kendrick, that we are still willing to shop at the Lafayette location as long as we do not have to deal with deliveries/situations from the Covington location. That seems to be the store in dire need of better customer service, professionalism, QUALITY CONTROL, better internal communication, and simple courtesy. (To be fair and clearer, our situation did not get worse because of the delivery guys. Also, for the record, we are not interested in getting anyone into trouble nor are we calling for a boycott, but there seems to be lots of room for improvement. The bad reviews for the Covington location seem to be justified. We are hoping upper management fixes the issues at this location because it affects the employees and customers at the Lafayette location.)

Sam and her husband are 24 years old and so super helpful. I love to see young people get off the couch and make things happen .(rare these days )This will be a staple for the community of Scott La and surrounding areas. It literally has everything you want, need, hope to have and more. After passing by this place nearly every day-always curious about what was inside I finally stopped in. I was- 1. Overwhelmed by the size of this place-think of Costco or Sam's but filled with only house stuff. It's really that damn big. 2. Just wowed at all the cute stuff I now need. I went in mostly to window shop but left with a list of things I want. Namely kitchen towels, all the cute garden stuff, a bunch of photo frames, new shower curtain, oh speaking of curtains...new curtains, I could probably use some throw pillows, a new wreath for the front door (spring is coming up soon)...you get the picture. While I was browsing I was greeted by a nice lady with a friendly "hello" and not aggressively in the least bit.
