Love this place for prices and items they sell as well as curbside pick up and ship options. Great stuff.

If you can't find it at At Home it does not exist. This place has every single item you could ever hope to need for your dwelling. It has stuff you didn't think you needed. It literally has everything you want, need, hope to have and more. After passing by this place nearly every day-always curious about what was inside I finally stopped in. I was- 1. Overwhelmed by the size of this place-think of Costco or Sam's but filled with only house stuff. It's really that damn big. 2. Just wowed at all the cute stuff I now need. I went in mostly to window shop but left with a list of things I want. Namely kitchen towels, all the cute garden stuff, a bunch of photo frames, new shower curtain, oh speaking of curtains...new curtains, I could probably use some throw pillows, a new wreath for the front door (spring is coming up soon)...you get the picture. While I was browsing I was greeted by a nice lady with a friendly "hello" and not aggressively in the least bit. Ok. Been here a few times and I'm still trying to find the niche of this store but struggling a bit. Some things they have a great selection of and others are anemic. Tons of chairs and patio cushions and a lot of outdoor items in the seasonal sections. I remember at Christmas a nice selection of trees and lights but not so much on overall Christmas decor. The one thing that sticks out the most is that everything seems expensive in here compared to other stores that carry similar items. (Lowe's, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, etc). I did find some super nice seat cushions and a vanity stool that my wife loves, but I've struck out more times than I've hit a homer, for what that's worth. If you are looking for home furnishing items it's worth a stop, but it may be hit or miss. Enjoy! read more

I shopped there a couple of evenings ago. I found exactly what I wanted in a very short time. (However, I did continue to shop and purchased more. lol) I asked an employee where I might find the items I went in to buy. He was very nice and gave exact, specific directions where to look. I found them Immediately. The pricing was reasonable also. When I proceeded to check out, each customer was masked and abiding the required+ social distancing which greatly relieved me! The cashier checked me out. Another employee was picking up recovery items. They were both extremely nice. I will definitely go back to shop again! read more

I have been a regular customer of At Home since it opened. My experience with the Lafayette store last week assured me that I would never set foot in there again. I returned a piece of merchandise as it broke after 38 days. I had my receipt as well and explained what happened. The cashier, then a supervisor(?) named Tami, initially refused to exchange or refund me for the item because I didn't have the packaging. I asked who still keeps the packaging after 38 days....and was told that's my problem. I explained that I had returned a number of items over the years and had never been asked for that. I requested to see the manager and both refused to call him/her. It got ugly. She threatened to call the police so I invited her to do so. She backed off. A scene ensued while 8-10 people gathered to watch. After threats and arguing, I exchanged my product and invited her to call the police again as I was leaving with it. Upon exiting the store, someone who witnessed it said they could not blame me if I never shopped there again. And I won't. read more

Great store and reasonably priced. I've gone many times (drive a hour to get there) and the shelves are always full. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I went this past weekend, there was way too many shelves empty. read more

What a massive disappointment and an even more massive waste of space. Why Lafayette economic development allows this kind of crap to continue to open in our town is beyond me. Nothing but junk in here. Nothing I would have had hoped or expected to find. read more

Wow....extremely rude staff! My wife and I were waiting in the front of the store for our family to get done shopping, when we took a seat next to a woman sitting in the front of the store. We were approached by a manager who told the woman (a sweet elderly lady who seemed like she needed to take a rest) "hey you can't sit there, get up!" The seated woman was polite and tried to move as fast as she could. Hoping to diffuse the situation and provide another place for the woman to sit I politely asked the manager, "is there anywhere else we could sit?" She scoffed, shook her head and curtly shot back, "you can sit in your car!" read more

Incompetent and rude rude rude. If this place doesn't make it, that is why. No one around to help get items from impossible to reach places. Had to ask 3 times and waited 45 minutes. No apology, when presented with a dented box they acted like it was an act of God to get another down and complained the whole time doing so. Horrible. read more

We recently bought a pretty floor lamp and when we got home, we found it was missing the harp and finial. We live an hour away. I called the store and told them our problem. I am so happy to say that the store manager delivered the missing pieces to us. Thank you, Sheree, for outstanding customer service!! read more

I love this store! Hate that it's an hour away! Very clean, well organized, great sales and selections. Super friendly staff always.

It's a great store, the problem is there is only one checkout counter normally open. It normally takes a long time to checkout and becomes a deciding factor to whether we go there or not. The store should have more than one checkout open or be proactive when the line is getting long to get help up front. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! RUDE RUDE!!!! I went in to Make a return on something that didn't work for me at home. When i walk in the door there are two 4 people in line waiting to check out. The customer finishes her transaction and then right away realizes that an item didn't ring up correctly and she needs it to be fixed. So the cashier says he will fix it when he is finished with the transaction with the other customer that he just started to serve. so she stands there to wait. Well during that customers transaction they too have issues. so the cashier has to call for the manager for an override. The manager walks up and does what she needs and then says " can i help whoever is next." So the customer that had BEEN standing there PATIENTLY waiting for him to fix THEIR error says "I'm next and i just have a return". Well the manager says i'm sorry but your going to have to go to the back of the line.. in the meantime the line has now grown much larger. There were about 6-7 people waiting to check out with only one cashier working! So I tell the lady whom I saw the whole time waiting and what had happened that she could go ahead of me. The manager then tells her NO! that she cannot cut the line bc there are other customers ahead of her!!!! So the customer starts to try to explain what had happened and the Manager was so rude she wouldn't even let the lady speak. I then start to speak up for the lady and I said she's been standing there! and the manager then says sorry you will have to go to the back of the line! THEY were the ones that made the error and she had been waiting in line. It was absolutely ridiculous and terrible customer service. I do not plan to return to this store! read more

The manager at the Lafayette, La location is extremely rude. I purchased a night stand that was on display (it was the last one the store had). I paid for it and was asked to come back after 12pm to pick it up. I returned to the store at 5pm. The cashier called the manager and asked her to have someone come to take the nightstand off of the display. The manager came up with a nasty attitude, going on and on about how the display should not have been sold to me. I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me and told her so. I told her I would get a refund. She told me to leave the store. I told her once I received my refund I would happily leave the store. She threatened to call the cops, but didn't. I told her I could call the cops too, which I did. I called the cops and told them where I was and what was happening. I also told them that given the current climate of African Americans having the cops called on them for random stuff, I felt the need to call them for my safety, because I am a black woman. I received my refund and left the store. I would not give the At Home store a dollar if they were the only store in Lafayette, La. read more

I went into the At Home store with my wife. She tried to purchase 5 baskets that were on the clearance rack. So we get to the register and it's says a total of 0.05 cents. All of a sudden the cash register was ready to ring us up but the manager didn't want us to purchase the baskets. I mean it rung up for 0.05 cents in the system so that's what we wanted to pay for it. The manager Dustin acted like it was a big deal and said there shouldn't have been on the shelves. So then you or your workers aren't doing your jobs. So he made a big deal and was arguing back and forth with my wife over five cents that is ridiculous. I thought At Home store was more professional than that. I'm disappointed. He wanted those baskets for himself. If it was anyone else he would've sold them. He was being racist towards my wife. Like she didn't have any money and said he could jack up the price like he's the CEO or something. My wife had great questions on why it's still on the shelf and why she couldn't purchase the baskets. He turned red because he really didn't know himself. read more

My second time here and still only ONE check out lane open, right before Christmas. The lines are long and waiting time is unbelievable.
