I mean, the holidays are here. The hustle and bustle of the seasonal shopping has begun.. I try to be understanding as places are understaffed and busy..... but this is unacceptable for Target. Especially at 9:30pm, there was a lot of leanin' zero cleaning. Word for word, I said, "I'd rather go here over Walmart"... as we had errands to run. You'll find everything you are used to seeing at a target at this location. Access to parking lot is easy via several entrances. Parking in the lot however is cramped and poorly structured. This is an older store which has been remodeled twice. But, still keeps that crisp feeling you are accustomed to from their branded stores. I only have one complaint. That is I wished that their online advertised pricing matched their in store pricing at the register. Instead of forcing you to buy items picked up to get the savings. What if you have an immediate need like a microwave? Should you be forced to wait however long it takes to pull and have ready an item to save the money? I think not. Staff is minimal. And on my visit only one regular checkout was open and out of four self scanning registers only two were operational. Forcing longer than anticipated or needed lines. Service is not good and the selection is also not good. They're always out of at least one thing I'm looking for (or so they say because the website will say they are in stock). They had a makeshift self checkout for thanksgiving at the customer service desk. The scanner was nowhere to be found. We tried to get ahold of the employees but no one paid us any attention. I dunno, maybe it the 'rona; maybe it's the seclusion factor of enduring almost a full-year of 'at home' life. Whatever. For the first time in 20 years, I wanna Christmas Tree. Maybe it was (finally) cleaning the attic and finding a box of grandfather's Christmas ornaments? So....I wanna tree, and I want it now! Setting up a natural tree two months early would be a recipe for disaster, eh?? So, let's go for a nice artificial unit. Not caring for the smell of the local WalMart, puppo and I drove a short hop to the local Target on Clinton Hwy. I hoped I would find the usual Target cleanliness and product selection at my destination, and YES INDEED, the Target Tradition continues! Regardless of where one stands on the mask issue, let's agree that they certainly can't hurt, right? And everyone, even employees, were wearing masks correctly and from their overheard comments, 'cheerfully'! And the selection of trees was fantastic. As usual, the isles were clean, the stock organized, and the overall store appearance was A+! So much so, that I had to fight an urge to linger and 'window-shop'. Okay, my better instincts prevailed, and after selecting my tree (pre-lighted, even!), I scurried to the checkout area. An employee directed everyone to available cashiers, so the process was fast, efficient, and very pandemic-correct! With the touchless entry/exit doors, poly-screens, etc, the whole process was actually non-stressful! KUDOS to Target, for handling life and business in this pandemic thing with grace and common sense! read more

And Target has the best Kid's Toys and Video games and kid's character bedding sets for boys and girls. New at Target, Just for kid's of all ages is the worlds famous Dylan's Candy Bar. This Target on Clinton Hwy don't sell a lot of stuff and had less stuff there. They don't even have their fresh produce aisles where they fruit and vegetables and other foods. They are any other Target South, West, North Knoxville Store and Farragut Turkey Greek store. This is the smallest target store here in Knoxville Tennessee. Example you want to buy something that you wanted but they don't carry an item that you need at this location you're are going to have drive all the way from the Clinton Highway store to the target store near West Town Mall or in South Knoxville and The Farragut store at turkey creek SuperTarget store. I recommend going to a different target store like West Knoxville South Knoxville or Farragut turkey creek SuperTarget Store. Because they sell a lot of stuff that you need but the target on Clinton Highway they don't sell stuff and had less stuff at this Target store on Clinton Hwy. Whoever is the store maning sure at the target store on Clinton Highway in Knoxville Tennessee you guys have to sell a law of stuff and sell more stuff. Because the customer is not gonna drive from your target store to another target store that is 20 or 30 minutes away from this location. read more

This Target is always clean and the staff are helpful. I love the sale items on the endcaps! You can find some really good deals. I wish they had built a Super Target at this location, but am thankful for it anyway. I have visited the new Starbucks at your Clinton Highway location several times since it opened. I understand that Target schedules the employees who work as baristas. I have been there when there is only one barista on duty for several hours. Whoever is in charge of scheduling certainly does not have a clue that only one barista, no matter how good they are, can handle all the jobs required to run Starbucks and provide the best service possible. I was there twice for the recent frappuccino special, and there was a long line constantly. There were only two employees behind the counter. Folks were having to wait far longer than they would if management really carried about customer service. I felt sorry for the baristas. They were so busy and actually ran out of things. Which should never happen if Target folks responsible for ordering for the Starbucks counter knew what they were doing. Starbucks is bringing folks into Target as well as keeping them in the store longer. But if they get better service at an independent Starbucks these customers will go there instead. The baristas that are there are, especially the older ones, extremely professional, hard working, and go out of their way to see that folks are served promptly. Target is beginning to be one of those organizations that does not see a need to put folks on a regular schedule so that understaffing does not become an issue for both employees and customers. I suppose it has to do with cutting employee hours so that no one is considered "full time" at Starbucks so these hard-working baristas can receive any sort of benefits. Working for Target and still having to have food stamps to get by tells me that Target is much more interested in bonuses for their managers than in actually caring if their employees can live on what they make. Remember, it is your employees who make your stores successful, especially when your managers are clueless about the simplest of tasks. Tasks like making sure that you do not run out of whipped cream when you have a special frappuccino happy hour event. Your Starbucks folks are going to be so burned out eventually that you are going to be constantly having to hire new people and find yourself in the middle of always training and losing the money you could have saved by just caring about your employees. I asked a barista one day if they got to have free coffee or snacks. I was disgusted when she said that they had to pay for anything they ate or drank. You cannot even give your early shift baristas a cup of coffee? Starbucks itself is one of the best places in our country to work for because of the way they benefit, appreciate, and promote their employees. Too bad Target is not that type of employer. I will continue to frequent Starbucks in your store because of the loyal baristas. But I will not be buying anything else there. And you do not even have a tip jar there like a real Starbucks does!!! read more

I'm white and I've always been treated with not respect, They think they are better then anyone, and I want to say hello you work at target!!!!! Don't get me wrong, at least these people do work, but no one is better than any body, My dad's a DR. my mom's a D.A in Knoxville, I'm in school to be a Vet. at U.T and I'm no better then anyone, so if any employee's take time to read thins, don't judge people because every body has a story and some peoples been through hell and back just to get where there are, then to go to a target to get looked down on!!!!
