Great customer service. Big props to Manny in electronic services for being knowledgeable and courteous. Made a big purchase so much more comforting! read more

If you're going to limit the self checkout to 10 items, please have more than one register available on a Saturday morning

Maybe I just went on a bad day but the cashier had an attitude and kept wandering off. I shopped with Shipt and literally was sent by the door greeter to customer service when the lady up front was MIA again. The customer service lady was busy with another customer, I don't have an issue with her, my issue is that there was another lady standing there just staring at here phone beside the lady at customer service. There were 0 signs telling Shipt Shoppers where to go. Usually, there have a space to bag items. This store does not. If you shop at Target, I recommend Liberty or Chouteau. This store is so poorly organized. read more

I'm reading some of these reviews and I'm shocked! I have no issues with this store. And I think the drive-up service is quite good. And Target doesn't require a minimum purchase for the convenience of Drive-up. So if you need hair color for example, you just order it online and pick it up from your car. And the CVS Pharmacy inside this store is over the top AWESOME. Very helpful people and pharmacists. read more

Liberty drive up puts this Target to shame! THE slowest pick up times..........longest I've waited to see an associate was 22 minutes. Everyone waiting looks frustrated......constantly looking around for ANYONE to come out the pick up door! Liberty Target is out in LESS than a MINUTE....95% of the time. When I call the customer service desk to see why there is such a long wait no one answers......NOT ONCE! I hope corporate sees this review & hires someone equipped to do the job in a timely manor. ***I write this as I am currently waiting for a pick up order.......11 minutes so far. RIDICULOUS. read more

Every time I shop here I have customer service people following me around like a criminal; and, I shop here at least twice a month. None of the workers say "hello" or are engaging. I just feel pressured to hurry to get my groceries and leave as fast as possible. I usually love target, but this is by far the worst location I've ever been to. It is the closest place to get essentials for a plant based diet, but I always find myself just deciding to go to Walmart. Their customer service is pretty much non-existent at Walmart, but at least they don't make you feel uncomfortable shopping there. read more

The worst Target in the nation. The store should be closed. Out of everything and anything lower priced is always out. The drive up is a joke. read more

We went to checkout and the only ones open were the self check ones. We had to wait over 20+ minutes to check out. My husband called guest services to tell them of the need to open up checkout stands but it did not happen. We in the future go to another Target store. read more

I was looking for a specific, special edition book today that showed in stock online but wasn't on the shelves. It's been selling like hot cakes so I wasn't surprised. Asked an employee that was stocking shoes near the fitting rooms, I wish I got her name, to check in the back for me. She looked for at least 20 minutes (she warned me ahead of time that it may take a while) and eventually found the book for me. I appreciate how helpful and friendly she was and how committed she was to find the book when it would've been just as easy for her to give up and say they were out of stock. read more

This Target isn't getting a 1 star because the woman who actually checked me out was very nice and helped me like a regular person. This location doesn't have its own Guest Services desk which is confusing. I walked to where self check out was and before I could ask, this male target employee said, "line starts back there". I asked him if he could help me find Guest Services and he said in his dragging voice, "it's there but the line starts back there" and pointed. I said ok thank you and waited. So now I'm waiting in one line for self check out and guest services which is holding other people up who just need to check out. The man walked away and people just started disregarding that there was even a line. Which they should. We're adults, we don't need a line leader half way telling us what to do. I came to this target because they were the only location that had the item I needed but next time I'll just order online because it wasn't worth it. Also I know it's just a target store but everything is a mess. read more

There's hardly anyone working here. With as much money as target makes, they can afford to hire people who stand around. A lot of wandering customers unable to make a purchase because merchandise is behind locked containers but no one around read more

"The WalMartization of Target!" This location was recently remodeled and they made it worse. This store used to be the reason I avoided Walmart: plenty of selection, registers always staffed, self-checkout IF you want, bright lighting and welcoming colors. Now: less inventory; 8 regular registers with zero staff; self-checkout is the only option; one employee to monitor all 6 self-check lanes; drab colors (the walls are all a flat grey that screams Kmart 1995. If Target still believes in the "customer experience," this is a failure. Sorry Target, you eliminated your edge over Walmart. Please, Please, undo this huge retailing mistake. You're gonna lose customers. read more

Recently non-alcoholic mixers were placed behind locked cabinets. There are no signs indicating how to have someone unlock them, so I walked around to find an employee. The employee used the walkie talkie to request customer assistance. Nobody came. Several employees walked past the aisle but did not stop. So I left and will not return. There are plenty of other places to shop nearby. read more

Temporary toilets outside., fine . Trying to use them and the guy along with a supervisor for target I guess with tight black pleather pants very rude. Both of them. He's mad because he's trying to work on the toilets and be done with his work by 2:30 it's 1:30 but put a sign up saying bathroom closed and stop being so rude. He was nasty to my 15 year old going in to use the bathroom. This target is working on appearance but attitudes and people need the help most. read more

This is THE worst target in Kc. I only come if I need the very basics. The bathroom is always disgusting. You'll do better at a gas station bathroom. The people that work there( you can tell they don't want to be there) I only came for dishwashing liquid. I got it and got out of dodge! read more

I was in this store on December 16th and had terrible customer service at registers. Walked up to register 12 since it had light on and only 1 customer. The woman at register said "register closed" in a tone. I said I'm sorry I thought it was open since light was on. She then flips light switch to off and says "lights off register closed" in nasty attitude. So then I have to wait forever in a long line at another register. I get it they were tired and busy due to holiday rush but that's no excuse to be rude and nasty to a customer. I wish I had looked at her name tag but I'm sure a manager could figure it out dec 16 2019 5 or 6 pm I think cashier was African American woman with nasty attitude. The second register I went to was trying to get people to sign up for red card when there's massive lines and she got someone to signup. read more

Zero registers open. Only self checkout and the poor lady doing returns. Feel bad for the workers. management needs to get some people hired :( read more

If I could rate zero stars for this Target, I would. The Customer service is absolutely horrid. The people that work there are terrible. The selection is awful. But more than anything, as stated previously, the customer service is awful (as you've seen in previous reviews). read more

Honestly, this Target depresses the hell out of me. I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but even though this Target is SUPER close to where I live, I'd rather go out of my way than shop here. It's never very crowded, but it's busy enough that there should be more than two check out lanes open...and there never are. So when I do have to shop here, even if it's to pick up one or two essentials, I end up not only depressed but waiting for ages to check out. UGH. I don't want to see the strip mall where this Target is located die out, but there are nicer places to shop for sure. read more

I have tried drive up at this location 3 times and every time something is forgotten. The other 2 targets are 5-10 mins further away but always get my drive up orders correct. Why can't this location get it together?! They asked if I could come inside and go grab the item myself when I called in. NO that's the point of DRIVE UP. read more

I ordered photos about a week ago and went to go pick them up today. The lady that helped me put in my order number, name, and phone number but she couldn't find my photos. The only reason she said that we couldn't find them because they had been shredded!! You get one month to pick up you photos and mine were shredded after a week. Other staff kept calling the one that was helping me to reprint my photos and it took me nearly two hours to get out I just ended up leaving without my photos. read more

I just moved to the area and this was my first time coming to this target. I'm a loyal Target shopper and will continue to shop at Target, but I'll be checking out the other Targets in the area. The woman that checked us out was really creepy, and I'm fairly certain high. She repeated herself constantly and put all of the meet I bought in individual bag and started murmuring something about beef. I don't know if this was a religious thing or what, but either way it was extremely weird and time consuming. read more

Just finished shopping and checked out at the new self checkout lanes. It's finally time that the store had this option for those that only have a few items. Convenient and quick for the first time using this process. read more

This Target store is in a pretty dead area which was once a very popular shopping locale. However, after Zona Rosa opened up fairly close, this area has seen a decline. The Target here is decent but not one I prefer to use. I would go the extra few miles to Liberty or Tiffany Springs where the newer Targets have more stock, cleaner stores, and a less sketchy parking lot. However, if you just need a quick something and are close by, you'll most likely find what you need here. read more

I came to Target looking for a few necessities. The worker, Becca, was very helpful in finding the self pleasure lubricant. Very warm and welcoming, thank you Becca! As I wandered around the store, I found another worker, Shelby, who seemed not to notice me at first. As i continued to call after her, she turned around asking what I needed. I asked where I could locate the adult diapers, and she seemed to lack knowledge on where to find them. I then asked where I could find the laxatives, and she didn't seem to know where to find those, either. Luckily, the worker, Emily, was able to point me in the direction of laxatives. My luck with that worker ended, though, because she couldn't tell me where to find the viagra. Very disappointed, will be taking my business to Walmart. read more

This is a Target superstore with a Starbucks inside. I've been to a lot of Targets, in a number of cities, both small and large. It's just like any other Target store except that everyone working there that I've dealt with has been friendly and competent. Can't say that about all stores. It's not as busy as other stores, but then who wants to wait in lines? Not me. read more

I love this target! Staff is so friendly it's never too busy so you can enjoy shopping and browsing without tons of people crowding you. I like the layout of this target better than liberty and the sky view store, it just seems more practical. Also I've noticed they have more clearance deals than the other stores, and who doesn't love good clearance deals!! read more

It's unfortunate that this specific Target on N Madison Ave is the closest Target location to my house because I usually have bad experiences here. Whenever I need something quick, I will shop at this Target location as it's the most convenient. However, if I have the time, I would definitely make a drive to either the Liberty Target or the Target close to Zona Rosa. There were numerous times that I've had bad experiences at the N Madison location. I personally think that the employees at this location are not trained well and lack any work ethic. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely a couple of workers that are great, specifically the elder ones in the register lanes. However, there were instances where one worker would be complaining that it was time for her break while helping a customer out. Maybe it's just me but I think that you have to have a professional and courteous attitude while in the presence of a customer. I also think that they are usually low on the number of workers at the registers. I normally usually see 2 to 3 registers open after 7pm which is weird since they close at 10pm. Lines form quickly and normally they always have to radio in for more associates to open another register. Another issue I had was one experience where I was pulling up at 9:30pm, which is 30 minutes before closing and an associate gathering shopping carts outside had the audacity to inform me with an attitude that "we are closing in 30 minutes." A frequent Target shopper usually knows this and some people just need to grab something quickly. Again, I personally think that associates must always be courteous to any customer. Aside from all of that, the biggest gripe I have about this Target location is that I seem to have trouble finding what I need here because they are out of stock of an item I am looking for. Even if I come by the next couple of days, the item would still be out of stock. Now I know there aren't many people who shop at this Target location but I would still expect items to be stocked well. Maybe this was just a coincidence but for a convenient location, it's not the most convenient shopping experience. read more

This store has HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! Cassie one of the managers in particular she is rude, loud, and out of line. Very upsetting as I am a very good customer. I will never go back to this store ever again the way I was talked to. read more

Where did we buy deodorant, sheets, notebook paper, and last minute birthday presents before Target? I like this Target because it's smaller than the one on the Liberty side of the Northland. They have grocery, but not as much. They have a handful of employees that are super friendly and helpful. One of their cashiers speaks at local high schools about safe driving. He's a hoot and we always try to get in his line. Sometimes I go just to cruise the aisles while I sip my Starbucks. If that's wrong, I don't wanna be right. read more

Received excellent service at this Target location today! One employee went out of her way to tell me that a bench I was looking at was on extra clearance and told me about another similar option on another aisle. Was asked by several others if I was finding everything okay. When I was finally through combing through the great holiday clearance, I needed help to my car because of the size of that bench. Service with a smile was much appreciated!! read more
