This is a great Target! About 20min drive outside of Downtown Columbus but I love the store. Friendly service, always has a good selection of clothes and everyday items. They keep the location clean and decently stocked. This store delivers on what you would expect a trip to Target to be. As much as I love Target, I found myself severely depressed while walking around this store in particular. There is nothing wrong with this store in terms of products, design, or even the location--really the reason I was upset is that there was barely anyone in the store on both of the times I visited. I am used to walking around my local Target in Orlando, FL surrounded by people picking out their essentials and generally being happy about the good prices and quality offered by Target. In Ohio (or at least at this Hilliard location) this was not my experience. Both times I stopped in there was literally one cash register open. This was not because they were short staffed, but because there was literally no need for a second cash register to be open! Despite the lack of people shopping, they also managed to not have my size available of the particular product I needed. This added to my frustration. Overall, as much as I love Target, I have to say that I was quite disappointed with my experience at this store. Does anyone else who is a local know why no one was at this Target? As much as I love Target, I would have to say most of everything is always overpriced! A week after Black Friday, I spent over $300 of Christmas decor and saved less than $15, which came from the tree lights only. In comparison, Kohl's gives you better savings! read more

I enjoy going to Target. The store is always clean and the service is great. I love the many items to decorate my home. It is a popular place to go to get toys for my grandchildren. I also enjoy the one stop shopping experience. I can get clothes and then get my groceries at the same time. Last year when I was looking for sponsors for a charity event I was planning, I sent 60 letters to local businesses. I only received one response and that was from Target. This year I only sent one letter out and Target responding with "We would love to sponsor your event." This time it was an even larger donation. It's nice to know that we have a business who really believes in being involved with the community.I read more

This target is not up to par as far as I'm concerned. On my most recent visit, the cashier forgot to give me one of my bags. I called after I was home and realized what had happened. The "front desk" person was not friendly or nice about refunding those items...I'm sorry...sis it my fault that your cashier screwed up? Not happy. Oh...and the "fresh" food section...I went to buy some beer. I know beer at Target?? But they had Great Lakes so why not. BUT, when I got up to check out the beer was expired, they went back to check and they all were all expired. I like organic milk and that's partially because the expiration dates are so far out compared to regular. I looked at the expiration dates at this Target, the milk expired in a few days. I love Target and shop there for a lot of things but this is by far the worst Target I've ever been in. This Hilliard location is closer to me than the other, but I go out of my way to visit the one off of Cemetery. The employees here always look so sloppy. Half of the time they aren't wearing red and khaki at all or they walk around wearing t-shirts two sizes too big. 4 out 5 times I ring out here, the cashier doesn't say a word to me until they hand me a receipt. Around the holidays I saw a cashier leave her station with a line of people to go greet her friend and hug her at the door. Where do they find these people? The team that stocks their inventory does a TERRIBLE job because nothing is ever in the right place. Recently I bought a pack of paper towels and it rang up double the price the shelf said. When I said something the employee just turned around and flipped on her light. After two minutes the guest service associate came over and made a scene and ran off to go change the price on the shelf. Then a couple weeks later I was buying a drill and it rang up $40 more than the shelf said. When I brought it up to the cashier he and his trainee just blankly starred at me until I finally broke the silence by saying that I would go figure it out myself. When I came back to the SAME register 5 minutes later with a different drill they didn't even acknowledge me or ask if I found the correct price. I've been in enough Target stores and was a team lead in college to know that these kinds of issues start at the top down from management and training. Hopefully they can get some new management in there to turn things around. read more

Let me start by saying I like Target. I shop here a lot- groceries, clothes, electronics, most everything! Never had issues with the quality of the items, even the Target brands. A couple of the staff are fantastic. Some are omg what are you thinking. And I can say that because I worked at a Target. I helped open this particular one as a supervisor. So you can say I have an idea how staff should interact with customers. Most cashiers at this Target forget to scan certain items and double scan some. I've come home before missing things as well. But sometimes it's more of a hassle for me to drive back and deal with the people, who are not always friendly, to get things straightened out. And here's what's worse- there was a time I stopped payment on a Starbucks charge because I know for a fact I was charged 2x (I have the receipt and everything). Target collectors called my home phone round the clock NONSTOP to collect $4. Target claims they investigated their till and I should really be charged 2x. Really. Same day same time 2 cups of the same coffee. Sure. I paid the 4 flipping dollars just so they quit bugging me. So yes, please, check your bags! I've started counting my items and standing at the end of the bagging area to see all my stuff. I check things again before I exit the store. For smaller purchases, maybe use cash. Keeping receipts doesn't seem to help anyway. read more

I don't shop at Target for my main grocery shopping, as I think it can be a bit pricey. But I do love to shop here for accessories, makeup and clothing. Their clothing and shoe selections are awesome. Also, I love looking in their home decor aisles. I just find all their stuff so stinkin' adorable! I love that there is a Starbucks right inside. I like to grab a coffee or a frapp before I go about my shopping adventures. There is also the standard concession-like stand in which you can buy pretzals, pizzas.... things of that nature. I love Target and this one is good. HOWEVER the Starbucks is awful. I used to work across the street and came quite frequently and it was great. Then they started to get a lot of new employees and it all went downhill. They are all incredibly immature and too worried about flirting and giggling and goofing off to do their jobs. It took me almost 10 minutes to get an iced coffee on day and I was the only person in line. They had to re make it twice because the girl making it was too busy talking to the boy who was on break and messed up. It's iced coffee, not rocket science. read more

I stop in here when there are certain things that I need. I've never had too much luck with finding anything I need at Target. I recently checked their website for an ice bucket for an upcoming party. There were a few reasonably priced ones on their site and their website said that they had them in stock. Yeah, I checked up and down the kitchen area at the store only to find one that is $40. Dont think so. I walked out there again with not finding something. This is the worst target I've ever been to. Just left there without the $50 worth of stuff I needed and will never be back. Went to self checkout and used the card that I had already used two places earlier today. Machine couldn't read the card after about ten min of trying. I just left everything right there and walked out. This is also the target that sold me a broken TV earlier this year and when I went to return it they told me they weren't doing returns for 3 weeks. I had to start screaming in order to get my money back after bout 30 min. Do no use this target! read more

Pros: Convenient location. Clean store. Usually helpful employees. Cons: I guess nothing glaring. Review: I practically live here. Just sayin. I love Target and this is the closet location to my home. My only complaints are two. 1. They are often out of stock of womens clothing in my size (medium). 2. I had a really unpleasant experience with the woman who maintains the dressing room, and was CLEARLY unhappy to be doing her job. I did speak to a manager about it, who was appreciative for my feedback. Overall I'll be coming to this Target again. Probably today, actually. read more

I am sitting in the Starbucks seating right now. I am at the community counter which is dirty. There are open boxes everywhere. Cups on tables empty. Four employees. 2 are on break right next to me. All employees are talking to each other across the restaurant. One is a manager. If this was my business I would want to know all of this. read more

Went to a hugely advertised lol event and it was a joke, there was no drawings, no,scavenger hunt , no product reviews and the same items were out of stock an hour before the store opened . I'm sick and still took my daughter out , false advertisement at its finest, my daughter didn't even want to lose for the slefie , she was so disappointed ! Sad ! read more

I love all Targets, but I don't love this layout. I don't know if its just because I don't visit this one as often, but I always feel like I'm not sure where stuff is. Either way, I still love them. I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm not ungrateful but glad I at least got something back from my mistake. BUT. I visited the store on Monday July 1st and bought two gift cards totaling $100. 1 target gift card and 1 restaurant gift card. Each $50. Anyway, I called them on tuesday because I accidentally threw them away. Wondering if maybe they can look up the purchase and cancel the gift cards and issue me a new one. I've never had this problem before so I was unsure of how it worked. They told me that they didn't know anything about it and that a manager was not in to ask. So I called back Friday July 5th and spoke to a manager I believed by the name "randy" super nice girl who took my name down and said to just come in at any time and they will replace them BOTH for me (after looking up my transaction). I went in today and the lady knew nothing about it. The manager she called up was so rude. Rolling her eyes and acting inconvenienced. She ended up issuing me 2 25$ gift cards but I didn't get a restaurant one that I was told I'd receive. And that's fine but the managers attitude pissed me off. While I'm there, I needed batteries. So I'm searching all over the store for a certain kind and end up finding it. I'm checking out using my debit card and while I'm walking out of the store, I was stopped by a guy who asked me if I just purchased a gift card using a gift card. I said "no, I used my debit card" and didn't even mention that I didn't buy a gift card but batteries because I didn't catch that insinuation. As I turn around after he just said "ok" I see that manager lady standing by the door. Obviously keeping an eye on me like I'm some kind of criminal. Also I just want to add that these gift cards that I bought are for my Christmas at the end of the year. I'm buying them to save some money for Christmas and gift giving. This experience ruined my whole day. And as much as I love target and was so excited that I didn't literally throw away $100, I probably wont come back here for a while. read more

Poorly managed. Many times shelves are empty and you cannot get what you are looking for because they are out of stock. Electronics is horrible. Groceries so overpriced. Bottled water supply pitiful. To their credit, the cashiers are always great, friendly and fast. read more

I LOVE target however I don't like this store. Mainly because they only have one cashier, two tops. Add more cashiers, I'm sure they can pull from the people who stock the shelves because there always seem to be plenty of them... anyways, add more cashiers and your customers will be happier. read more
