I've spotted my target over advise over

Not to be confused with Teargas, which is not Target, but actually some sort of gas that makes you cry and stuff, so. This is a large Target at the Broadway Commons Mall in Hicksville, and I guess it's good having a Target here for people that like to pay twice as much as Walmart for the same kinds of things - as you can tell, I personally am not a big fan. That's the reason for the iffy rating... Plus they didn't have the thing that the internet said that they had, or some workout equipment I needed and expected they'd have, and that was not appreciated.

Groceries were ordered online and putting trunk by employee drove home, realized one of the bags was switched with somebody else's. I had to drive back to target and they requested the other bag of groceries and what is the sense of using curbside if they can't get it right. Contacted manager I said it wasn't right and there was no compensation. Remember it involved time use of car to go back to target store that was on the way home from the train station instead of the one in Levitown where I live. Manager after listening to story about kids waiting up all night to see me and after working a double in New York City there is no sort which I think a little compensation. Maybe a bag of cookies or something. Also called the store numerous times kept getting hung up on bad experience didn't even take a name or anything. Sorry does not cut it when your kids are waiting up for you to see daddy before they go to bed. This was at 9 PM and have to be by at work by 4:30 in the morning dead tired. I'm sorry. Sorry doesn't fix the crying kids and the wife being upset but that he and Home. My

Haven't been to this Target in a while but since I wss hitting up Ikea I stopped in to see what was up with the Spring home section. Wasn't my favorite set up. They had few of the newer items that were beautifully displayed on other stores. The shops were scantly stocked and you couldn't find a pair of anything. This could be because it's a high traffic area or they just don't specialize in home decor. Idk but in was not impressed. I would say unless you're confined to that area, I'll pass on this location and head down Sunrise to other locations. I am no fan of Green Acres Mall but that Target never fails.

They're redoing this location over. I came very early so no crowds and plenty of staff to help you find the stuff they moved.

This is really the store to go to for main furnishings, not just decorative. But they do have incredible holiday/seasonal decorations. If you certainly do the heavy lifting and bring the large items home yourself but they also contract out to a third party that you can arrange for pick up and delivery too. This store has beautiful mirrors and wall art too. It's easier to find multiple pieces of things here, unlike homegoods where you'll find only one. So things like matching chairs, wall art, mirrors, lamps that you need multiples of, this is where to go.

It took over ye old Toys R Us location in Carle Place so you know the ceilings are high. For such a big place, the aisles could have been wider, especially considering they opened during the pandemic where we all need s p a c e. However, they have a lot of great things and if the checkout line wasn't long (everyone is so excited about this new place so they were all here), I probably would have chucked a few things in the basket to check out. Granted I just made an expensive laptop purchase so I'm grateful I didn't check out things here to give my wallet a little breather. It's definitely one of the go-to places I will check when needing homewares.

I wanted to take measurements to see if it'll fit in the house and order it As soon as I walked in, there was a male worker walking towards the door to leave. As I was asking where entertainment sofas are, he interrupted to say someone over there will help you. I repeated my question because I didn't get the whole sentence out and he said they are around the whole store. He didn't offer assistance although he turned around and did not leave the store. He started barking at other workers asking where people were and saying they were customers in the store. I walked around the store probably about 15 minutes. I stopped at the starlight couch for a good 5 to 7 minutes. No one ever approached, greeted or asked to assist. One worker was about 20 ft from me leaning on the wall. About 50 ft from that was three workers standing and just looking around. As I walked I probably saw about 8 workers in that store. Couch was poor quality anyhow I walked out. Don't want my money .........

The person who help d me was Raymond Jean. I had all these ideas for my space and he helped me narrow down and find the right pieces that not only looked great but also fit my lifestyle. I ended up getting the Harlin Coffee Table with two benches and the Sheffield Dinning table with four chairs and a bench. I would absolutely recommend Raymond and the Raymore and Fallingan in Garden City.

Of nearly ten stores, The Bedroom Source's service and selection stood out, as there was no rush or pressure and plenty of high quality curated furniture to choose from. Unlike other stores, the employees here were more consultative. We found an option we really liked and Kelly helped walk us through the process and expected delivery. She gave us great personalized service and was very communicative throughout the whole process. In the end, the recliner was delivered even sooner than original anticipated, and we are very satisfied with the quality. Even the delivery experience was positive -- I'd never seen such an upbeat delivery driver. In a world of big box stores and cheap products, The Bedroom Source is a great reminder that shopping at a local family business can give you a great product with a great experience and a great price. We would definitely stop by for other furniture needs.

The facts remain that we purchased furniture on 11/17/25 with an expected delivery date of 1/10/26. That date came without delivery and when we reached out were told it was delayed. We kept inquiring about delivery every week and were told a range of reasons, varying from the tariffs, to weather delays, and to employees being out sick. All that could have been true but it did not resonate with us since other businesses we purchased from were able to deliver given the same challenges. We requested a refund of our delivery and set up costs of roughly $299 and they agreed to give us a refund of $100. But by 2/28/26, 7 weeks after their initial delivery estimate, we requested a full refund. After some back and forth they finally agreed to give us a full refund on 3/10/26. It is unfortunate that we had this experience. Their furniture is nice and they do try with their customer service, even if they are short staffed sometimes and may take a few days back and forth to communicate. They deal with various suppliers and if a supplier doesn't come through for them then you as a customer may be caught in delays. I suggest you read the back of the sales slip completely to understand their policies. They give themselves a pretty generous delivery time frame before you can cancel without penalty.
