This location is attached to the Broadway commons mall. It has its own entrance and exit and parking lot but you can also get to it thru then mall and vice versa which is convenient. It's decent sized and most targets are laid out the same way and this one is no different. It's easy to navigate. The fresh food section seemed well stocked. read more

I think this Target wants to transition to drive-up only! There was only one register open and one person at self-checkout helping multiple people at a time. Two days before Christmas nonetheless! It is a horrible shopping experience. I felt so bad for the poor worker hustling to help everyone in the self-checkout line! I think they want to make the experience so awful that either 1) you never return to the store or 2) you only do drive-up orders. Target, you are a huge corporation. Staff your stores better! I definitely like this Target store. I bought a stepping stones and balance beam equipment for kids. The price was $38 which is so affordable for this kind of toy. The material was of good quality and therefore a great value for the money. read more

Not to be confused with Teargas, which is not Target, but actually some sort of gas that makes you cry and stuff, so. This is a large Target at the Broadway Commons Mall in Hicksville, and I guess it's good having a Target here for people that like to pay twice as much as Walmart for the same kinds of things - as you can tell, I personally am not a big fan. That's the reason for the iffy rating... I've been coming here for years with family. It's a great store overall. Lots of products for cheaper than standard stores elsewhere. Lots of helpful associates. However.... The chicken bin where the meat is kept always has a pungent odor of going bad. The meat literally stinks and I will never purchase. I hope it is called to managements attention soon. read more

I've been coming here for years, I would have to say this is my second favorite Target store, thus far. I love the variety and huge selection of things plus it's located within the mall. It's pretty big. Only thing is it's a little hard to find stuff sometimes as they get sold out because this place does get busy. Anyway; I love coming here regardless and I walk out with something so they are great at marketing or I'm great at spending and shopping?! Could be both! LOL PARKING : it isn't so hard to find parking unless it's the weekend you'll run around for about 10 mins the most, that's at least the most I've had to wait to find a good parking spot; I'm picky and it's important for me to find a good spot specially if I'm pushing a lot! read more

Hicksville store is horrible and will never go there again. They're always out of stock on a lot of items. There isn't any customer service my husband was having a medical emergency and Brian from security treated him as a delinquent & escorted him out of the store. Called corporate to complain and nothing happened, waste of time. Walmart has better prices & wider selection, we shop there now. read more

Groceries were ordered online and putting trunk by employee drove home, realized one of the bags was switched with somebody else's. I had to drive back to target and they requested the other bag of groceries and what is the sense of using curbside if they can't get it right. Contacted manager I said it wasn't right and there was no compensation. Remember it involved time use of car to go back to target store that was on the way home from the train station instead of the one in Levitown where I live. Manager after listening to story about kids waiting up all night to see me and after working a double in New York City there is no sort which I think a little compensation. Maybe a bag of cookies or something. Also called the store numerous times kept getting hung up on bad experience didn't even take a name or anything. Haven't been to this Target in a while but since I wss hitting up Ikea I stopped in to see what was up with the Spring home section. Wasn't my favorite set up. They had few of the newer items that were beautifully displayed on other stores. The shops were scantly stocked and you couldn't find a pair of anything. This could be because it's a high traffic area or they just don't specialize in home decor. Idk but in was not impressed. I would say unless you're confined to that area, I'll pass on this location and head down Sunrise to other locations. I am no fan of Green Acres Mall but that Target never fails. read more

I've always had a decent experience at target however the other night not so much when I went to the one in Hicksville, because it's inside the mall I was at which I rarely go to i always go to the one right by me. Anyways after being on a line I got distracted by something and then had to be on the line. Then there was no line anymore, was getting too crazy and confusing, no open check out, then got on one when someone was done, and then some worker yelled at me and accused me of cutting off and being unfair which I wasn't what I was doing and still gave me a hard time and shouted. This location just keeps getting worse and worse. Not sure what the "big remodeling job" did this past year, HOWEVER, in the grocery dept. there is LESS stuff and LESS variety of stuff to choose from. I needed coconut oil and usually there would be 2 or 3 different brands...now just ONE. Same thing with many supermarket items here. Canned fruit is almost non-existent now at Target. Just wait till you try to find it on your own! Store now features BIG open displays of CRAP YOU DON'T NEED and the clothing department (men's) is REALLY small now. Staff here is hit and miss. Some of the check out people are very nice and helpful. So 2 stars for them. Store is set up poorly and certain things are harder to find than a few years ago before this new mishandled "rearranging" that TOOK FOREVER. I will say that the BEER department is HUGE. This target is well organized, has a lot of smaller items that my local target in Queens doesn't carry. Their food selection is well maintained and appealing to the eye. if I could give it 0 stars I would . There was a horribly direspectful lady we greeted me rudely at self-checkout. She comes up to me in the most rude tone saying excuse me is that 10 or less items . I had ten 10 items. I told her yes you're welcome to check if you need to. she replies saying oh well if you cant count it that's just sad. I told her how disrespectful she was being. she continued confrontation with me approaching me and arguing with me among other guest. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome . Who manage this store???????????????????? Stock up!!!!!!!!!!! Clean up!!!!!!!! The only reason I go to this target is because it's walking distance for me. The shelves are always messy.... always under stocked.... it's a sad sad Target! By the toys way back on the left side, they park like 10 shopping kart one behind the other, blocking the toy wall.... this kart mess is ALWAYS THERE BY THE TOYS!!! Please fix that it's incredibly annoying, I have twins 4 years old, I'm always by the craft / toys / clothes isle and all those are messy! I buy clothes for boys and girls 5T / 6T ish and OMG I feel like I need to go on a treasure hunt each time where is boy socks? Some on the wall... some on the floor.... where are girls shirt? ITS EVERYWHERE! There are no pattern... no sense..... fix it up! Most of this is just either hiring more people or training the ones you have. The toy isle being the WORST PART OF THIS TARGET. I will still be back because like I said it's conveniently located close to me. Read This and dont stop. Awesome Experience and here is why: Came in to get food, drinks, and etc for a Christmas Party. I was having trouble finding some of the harder things to find as any man would if his girlfriend gave him a random list! Anyways, I ran into Robert. In all of my years in a sales and client service position, I could truly say Robert put the customer first. Robert was polite, courteous, and eager to help. I find it hard to believe that Robert isnt a manager of some sorts by now. However, I believe it in my heart that Robert is going to be quite successful in whatever path he decides to do in life. Thank you for making my life easier and checking with me last minute at the cashier if I was okay. I have to mention one more individual that truly made my life easier - John. John explained to me that he was deaf, but I didn't think of anything of it to ask someone else for help. Quite frankly, John did more with being deaf, than most people have ever tried to help w me in decades. Need less to say, John guided me to every item that I needed. Even going the extra mile, he made me write down on a box on what I needed. John truly made me realize and should make us all realize, no matter what obstacles someone may have in life, it is extremely doable to overcome them. It's a Target: as one reviewer said, they're all the same. But this one is better than the one I've been to in the city since the prices are cheaper, selection is much better and it's cleaner. They also recently added in a grocery section where you can occasionally find a decent head of lettuce. A go-to location for cheap stuff I can't find in my neighborhood. read more

Tar-ge't - the chain of stores from France - Well, ok, maybe not from France but it is a chain of stores that has like everything you need and even some stuff you don't need. I love that they finally opened one at the back of Broadway mall - you can even get into it from the mall. This location is big, but most of the Targets are - they have everything from toys to milk, clothes to pet needs and whatever else you can think of. I like the fact that they have a self serve checkout area and the few times I've had to interact with the customer service people, it was relatively painless. Big parking outside. read more

Big box Target, though not a "SuperTarget" meaning that they don't have the full selection of groceries here. But they still have clothing and electronics and housewares and toys. I needed a cigarette lighter adapter to charge my cell phone and Tar-shay did not disappoint. read more

Had to go to Target to get some storage bins and a few other items. I did not think that any place could be worse than Home Depot in finding so called sales associates or in other words anyone to help you find something. The Target is about the same size as any Home Depot just filled with different types of stuff. I started on the left side of the store and walked thru the entire store before finding the product i needed, It took me about 15 minutes aprox. In that time i did not see one sales associate at all, Not only that I did not even see any one stocking shelves. Other than the cashiers I could find no one to help me at all. I finally found all the items I needed and brought them to the front of the store to the cashier, The cashier was friendly and nice and packed the items fast and well. The prices for many items are far better than a lot of other places which is a big plus, Unfortunatly if you do not know were the items are or if you are short on time this is the wrong store for you. Luckily I found the items which I knew were such cheaper than most of there competitors so overall I was happy about the pricing. I do not think I would go back again unless I was going for something specific and was going to save enough money for the aggravation. I give them 5 stars for quality of goods and pricing at least on what I bought but do to no service in finding items i give them a total of 2 stars. read more

Had a terrible experience at this store recently. Went in a week ago and placed an in store order for them to bring me an item from an offsite location. Was told they would call me when my item arrived. Fast forward three days and no phone call. I decide to call them and they say the item still hasn't arrived, no big deal they don't control shipping. Fast forward four days I call up and say its been a week this is ridiculous. They tell me they don't even see my order and that all orders over a week just get cleared out of the system. So I waited a week for them to tell me to just go order the items online, what a waste of time, wasn't offered an compensation for my time. read more

We went shopping in Target for 1st time after the lack down, the store is very quiet, not too many people in the store and most people are there for grocery only. We we walk in to target and a nice employee was wiping each shopping cart and told us to take the one she already cleaned. Everybody has facemask on but some have facemask under their nose and some under their chin including few of the employees! People are not walking one way in each isle but crossing over and not keeping 6 feet away from each others. In order to reopen New york, company and people must follow face mask and social distancing rule otherwise nobody will be safe! read more

I ALWAYS go to this target and normally have a good experience but recently everyone seems to be in a rush to get you out. Well I went in to buy food, one of their products i always buy which is vegetarian friendly mac and cheese. I bought it and so on i head home. Once I get home I warmed it up and took a bite when I noticed it was EXPIRED !! I didn't have time to go back right away so I went back after I was available. I went to customer service told them what happened and asked for a refund... the sales associate told me no ! that its not available..
