Visited a Target that's conveniently connected to a nearby mall, which gave it two separate entrances. This was super helpful depending on where you park. I went in the morning and honestly, the store felt a bit cluttered, like they were either restocking or just hadn't organized yet. One thing that stood out in a not-so-great way was the employees smoking right in the parking lot. It would be nice if they had a designated area elsewhere. The parking itself was spacious, but since it's shared with the mall, it still felt kind of packed. On the plus side, self-checkout was open and fully functional early in the day, which helped move things along quickly. Overall, it was a decent visit, but a few changes could improve the experience. This Target is attached to The Commons in Federal Way. This store is kept clean, but the stock is abysmal. A lot of the items I wanted they didn't even have a space for as they no longer carry it, while there was a TON of empty spaces on the shelves. The things that they decided to put behind glass were definitely very interesting. Is it a stocking issue or a theft issue? Probably both, but either way I wouldn't consider their stock to be reliable and there's a very good chance you're going to have to go to another store. Compared a few prices on first aid/pharmacy items I've purchased recently and found Fred Meyer to be cheaper in all cases. This Target is potentially in a great location depending on where you're coming from so you do you. Self-checkout machine played nice, so no complaints there. read more

It's been a while since I shopped at this location and it'll be a long while before I go back. Stopped in to get a few items for an upcoming trip and do some light grocery shopping. The grocery area is lacking, some of the hot dogs were green, not a lot of selection. Couldn't find the cat litter. Items like laundry detergent were locked up. read more

Since moving to Washington from Hawaii, I've been needing to find a target that's close & good. This target is pretty good & organized but the way there's only 1 cashier open at most times and there's always a line at self check out could be confusing. Terrible customer service! I came to return and pick up my stuff, and the cashier gave me this attitude the moment she saw me. No greeting, no offer to help. When she finally handed me my pick-up item, which was the cat treat, it was the wrong one. The product clearly said "Package Quantity: 12," but I only received 1. So I showed her the details from the Target app, and she just gave me this infuriating side-eye, put her hand on her hip, and had the audacity to say, "It's 12 on the inside." IT LITERALLY SAID PACKAGE QUANTITY! When I asked for a refund, she snatched the bag back with anger and spat, "I just cancelled your order." Ugh, the worst customer service ever! read more

This place is always under stocked and semi looks run down. Could be because it's such a convenient location and get tons of traffic. We frequent this Target every time we are in the area but wish we could find what we were looking for most times. The parking lot seems to always be under construction within the shopping center making it difficult as well. read more

I really USED to like this Target. Now, there's barely anything in stock. Not sure why it has drastically changed. It is attached to The Commons Mall. I have noticed that a lot of stores have closed since the pandemic and there isn't a lot of foot traffic outside of Target anymore. I hope this location will improve its inventory because despite the low stock, people continue to shop here. Surprise, surprise. Haven't been to a Target store in a while, but managed to look into the Target store at the Commons Mall in Federal Way, mainly because we were changing to CVS for our prescriptions, and there's a pharmacy located inside the store. How convenient. The lady there was quite helpful and we managed to switch our prescription provider without a hitch. Great service. Seeing as how we live just a few blocks away, it made sense for us to transfer to CVS. Now, while inside the store, I was amazed at the products available, to include a limited selection of groceries. In the cosmetics department there's even a section centered on men's products such as body washes, beard equipment & lotions & balms, to include a great selection of electric trimmers and shavers. Great move Target. I would imagine male grooming products is lucrative and it's nice to have one store and an area set aside for such. I know I'll be visiting this Target store much more frequently in the future. Even downloaded the Target & CVS apps for my iPhone. Now if that's not sincerity. It's actually pretty stupid considering I work at target too and that is the first time I've ever been told that I couldn't check out that the register. Targets first priority is their guests is it not? So federal way target you need to get your team members Cruz's priorities straight. It was during a rush so it would make sense to open up guests services to get through the rush faster does it not ? Cruz stop being lazy and do what you're getting paid for. There are a bunch of employees just loitering about... looking at their phones... on their walk talkies... nobody actually helping customers. In the middle of the day, none of them are working the registers. They expect every customer to check themselves out. I got a very unfriendly vibe and not sure if they were suspicious of me for being a straight white male. What appeared to be a supervisor walked behind me as I was checking out, and then a short female security guard walked towards me as I was exiting. I am truly fed up with this Target location. Whoever is in charge of staffing this store either doesn't give a crap or is completely out of touch with this stores needs. - The lines are extremely long, usually customers have to line up in the kids clothing and along the main path. This was the first place I've ever had to leave a cart full of merchandise. (Inadequate staffing) - I've never seen this store faced. Ever. Everything is always in disarray and it's hard to find things. Yes it's partially lazy peoples fault but you also need staff to put stuff back and stock correctly. - They are also constantly sold out of product in every department. Their clothing and shoes almost never have sizing I need. I couldn't find sandals or dresses today in my size - and it's spring. (Inadequate staffing or poorly trained ordering/receiving dept) - I picked up garbage out of the isles off the floor because people were stepping over it. WTF. This is a huge safety hazard but if you don't have the staff to do it... guess what? - I accidentally dropped a glass jar of spaghetti in line once. The cashier handed me paper towels. We waited almost ten minutes for someone to come help clean it up. No one put down a hazard sign. In fact, *I* was the one warning other customers and their children about glass on the floor. The cashier was unphased. I try not to write reviews for big corporate companies but, wow. I've lived here in the area for 1.5 years and I shop here at least once a month but mostly out of necessity because this is the closest one to me. Would give this store no stars if possible. Shelves were empty. Couldn't find what I was looking for. The biggest complaint was that I went through the entire store twice and bypassed at least 9 employees that didn't care that you were there. Every time they made eye contact with you, with their face mask at their chin, they would just stare at you like I had a dick on my forehead. I'm not asking for spectacular customer service but is it so hard to say hi, welcome, do you need help finding something. This place is a f*cking mess. They now only let you go through self checkout if you have less than 10 items AND YET they still only have the bare minimum of cashiers ringing people up. And the managers only call over more cashiers once you've already been waiting 20+ minutes. Wow thanks More often than not the cashiers are slow. Whoever manages this store needs to be replaced with someone who has more experience managing extremely high traffic stores. There should never be lines stretching back to the makeup section and it shouldn't take a cashier 7 minutes to ring up someone with 15-20 items. Ridiculous. read more

I was looking to get the purple/green neon cat halloween decoration. It was sold out in September. Thankfully the website has the option to have them email you when an item is back in stock. This is of course a lie. You will get an email at 10:03 in the morning saying it's back in stock. Get your hopes up and check online to place your order. Your hopes will be dashed as the website was never updated and it still says out of stock. Thus can't possibly be you will think. So you call the store and navigate the menu to talk to someone in the department. The phone will ring a bit then auto hang up on you. You will try again switching to the customer service option. Again it will hang up. You will try calling corporate to find out where it's actually back in stock because you got the email saying it was! They will look and be unable to find it in stock, they will also try calling the store only to have them hang up on them too. In short. Screw you Target. Your online system is a joke and a failure, your phone systems are trash, and calling customer support to get someone in a while other country that can't do anything but follow a script is aggravating and physically going to the store to find the item and talk to the manager is an exercise in futility. The reviews had me extremely skeptical about having to come out to this location, but it's the closest one near us so we had to at least give them a shot! Parking is plentiful, and it's conveniently connected to a mall, so all the better with getting everything with one stop (if necessary). Every time we've walked in we've been greeted and notified that the carts have already been sanitized. Also during each visit, the amount of workers around in the aisles seem to be sensible. We try not to bother the employees unless we really have to, and the couple of times we did, they were both friendly, and courteous. On one trip I just wanted to know where a particular item was, and on the last occasion, we needed help for an online order we were suppose to pick up. So those two brief experiences were a plus since all these other reviews make this place seem like a s*** show lol! The only reason I didn't give a full 5 star is because so much of the shelves seem to be empty here. I'm not sure if it's because it's just out of stock, or the department's aren't stocking them quick enough lol. read more

The aisles were pretty messy, the lines were exceptionally long as they only had about 3 cashiers, even though there were a ton of people in line, AND the women's bathroom was ATROCIOUS! Paper towels overflowing onto the floor from the trash can, every stall had toilet paper on the ground or on the toilet seats, and the stalls and bathroom smelled of urine. I did not even feel comfortable in there. You can do better Target! read more

Spent 30-40$ Situation Browsing in men's care section/shaving. Very awkward, silent (actually no interaction -was ignored) This security person was "Shopping" , had 4-5 items in his hands. I wanted to buy a Harrys shaver/sharp advertised blade. I waited 1 -2 minutes for this person to say something, silence. Ridiculous. I immediately paid and left. I issued an anonymous complaint. This Target person made me feel unimportant , like i was at fault for being a valued customer . I absolutely love this Target. The door greeter is always sanitizing carts and baskets and is friendly. The store is always clean and stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. This location also has a nursing area located by the fitting rooms! Very helpful for moms who need to nurse their little one. The restrooms are tucked away at the front of the store on the right side right as you walk in. The CVS pharmacy and Starbucks are a nice addition to the store. read more

Target doesn't care about its customers and it's selling fraudulent merchandise . I bought a box of sports cards and all of the packs had been opened and the cards were missing. I thought the box looked a little suspicious so I opened it as soon as I got out of the store and immediately brought it back in but they wouldn't refund me per policy. Unfortunately they also didn't seem interested in investigating this scam happening at their store. Very disappointed I'm out my money and nothing is going to be done to prevent it from happening again. Don't ever shop here. read more
