This location is located in a great location with an accessible parking. We mainly shop here for board games or little toys that we could get for ourselves or for the kids in the family. You get the same quality of items that you would get somewhere else too, probably for a higher price. There's so much of variety of budget items right from games, sports, toys, electronics, garden items to clothes. The staff are kind and you can never walk out disappointed.

At checkout, I was told the price was now $1.50 "due to tariffs." There wasn't a line--I agreed to the increase because it sounded logical given what's going on globally. Then the cashier went on to explain that all items will soon be increasing in price to $1.50, but that certain tariffed products were being raised first. I didn't ask for a list, but let's be clear--there's no sign or posted notice about this supposed change anywhere in the store. Here's the issue: Brillo is made in the USA. I called the manufacturer directly in Walled Lake, Michigan, and they confirmed it: there are NO tariffs on their product. This is a homegrown American brand, and falsely tying price hikes to tariffs only hurts them--and misleads customers. This isn't on the cashier. They're just repeating what they've been told. This falls squarely on ownership. Blaming tariffs to justify price increases is deceptive and disrespectful. If you're raising prices, just say so. We understand prices go up--what we don't tolerate is being lied to. This kind of dishonesty breaks trust and takes advantage of people trying to support local businesses. Respect your customers. Respect American-made brands. Tell the truth. That's how you earn loyalty. Do the right thing--because next time, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Thankfully, I was correct - this store was infinitely better! Lots of bargains to be had. Lots of things that look like bargains but the packaging or quantity is just smaller. You have to be sharp wandering the aisles but that's what makes it fun. They have brand names and generics. The best part is that the stuff you do ostensibly recognize is slightly...off. Like it's a flavor that you haven't seen here in the states but you know the item. Check out the picture of my haul, por ejemplo. We all know Manwich tomato sauce in the can but have you ever heard of BBQ Bourbon flavor?? Well they have it in Mexico and it has made its way to Trenton. The staff I have interacted with have been super nice. The last time I went to buy something, there was just a floor model out and I was going to buy and and the women who saw it in my hand and stopped me to say she thought there was one more new in box item in the back and checked and there was. This store is also a decent size, not the biggest I've seen but they have had everything I have needed. Also when they had their ornaments sale this past year they did say the sales where final which was a great bonus as it was my original gripe. All in all worth going and stopping in if you need a small gift or a card. There is ample parking which is a great boon.
