TL;DR Beautiful store, less crowded. Employees will avoid you like the plague. You should avoid the bathrooms because they are the plague. While this Target is kept pretty clean, and isn't nearly as crowded as the other locations, it is EXTREMELY hard to get help from employees. I've only ran into two employees who actually know what they are doing and where things are located: a young girl with long hair in the women's clothing department and a young man with black hair who was doing inventory a couple nights ago. Majority of the staff look like they're fresh out of high school, are too busy chatting with each other, or are ridiculously rude. I've had employees look straight at me and when I try to get their attention to ask for help they immediately turn around and walk away or ignore me and continue talking to other employees. This is usually a recurring theme; two or three employees standing around talking to each other about stuff unrelated to work and ignoring customers. And if you are lucky enough to get one to acknowledge you, they act like you are inconveniencing them! Like their job is to stand around gossiping with each other. Rather than maintaining the store and helping customers... I also had a return last night around 8 PM and the blonde man at the return desk was stand-offish and callous. Made no eye contact when talking to me, questioned me about my return being a gift with a sarcastic tone, and gave me less than what the person who bought the gift for me paid. At least treat me with some decency as a human being, much less a customer. And don't get me started about the bathrooms. Store is amazingly well kept compared to other locations, but the bathrooms are one step away from an open cesspool. There is almost never any toilet paper, towels, or soap. Trash cans are overflowing, toilets are filthy, and the floor always has water or urine on it... I'm only giving two stars instead of one thanks to the cleanliness of the store itself and the two employees who actually know what they are doing. They were amazing and helpful. read more

Great store. Very convenient for me. I love to shop here. But I'd rather go to Walmart, down on Herndon and Clovis. Egads! (Did I just say that! In my best Erkel imitation) this is because they only have 2-3 lines open during the busiest times of the day! Self scans are always packed and never enough customer service reps. Sorry but this Target is slowly turning into a KMART. And we all know what happened to them. I have to mention I hate going to Walmart too, I avoid it at all cost. read more

We were walking in as people were walking out letting us know the registers all went down and nothing could be scanned or purchased. We only come to this location specifically so that our son can get a hotdog and popcorn, clovis location no longer has a cafe (boo). We explained to the employee that we didn't need change back but if we could still please purchase my son's hotdog and popcorn as that was the whole reason for the 20 minute drive there. We let them know that he has Autism and that he was super excited about lunch and that we worried that if our plans went astray he might not be able to handle it. The employee asked the manager and Arrika the manager said of course it wouldn't be a problem and told us to put our money and that she would take care of it. It was such a kind gesture and we were beyond relived. Thank you Arrika and the other employee who I did not get the name of I'm sorry for saving our day. read more

As a disabled customer, my to go pick up option is always the Drive Up option. I made two orders the same day and one of them was ready for pick up, the other one was not quite ready. I did both orders around the same time. I waited until almost the end of the day and still one of my orders was not ready. I arrived to do the Drive Up and explained my situation to the employees and they understood my situation. They helped me find a solution and I was so thankful with them because they saved me from all the struggle I go through just to pick up one item. read more

Probably one of the friendliest, most helpful target I've been to. Felt so welcoming so early in the morning I loved it. They've got a great team working such early shifts even though I walked in feeling so so, they've actually made my day for being so helpful and warming. read more

My review is based solely on checking out today. First, there was one register open with a HUGE line. Then self checkout. I had my 1 year old daughter with me trying to launch herself out of the cart...I'm carrying her and trying to self check out with one arm. Oh my favorite part was multiple employees standing around chatting while I'm struggling to check myself out. I was so frustrated I decided not to buy all the kids clothes or books in my cart that I didn't really need. I just left it. I'll buy it on amazon. Honestly the reason I've shopped target instead of amazon in the past is the customer service but that has been quickly fading lately. read more

I frequently visit this target and have received excellent service each and every time. The past few times I have been helped by the employee Hayden and he has been absolutely great. He goes above and beyond what I expect of a target employee and I can truly appreciate the effort he puts in. I know that working in retail is not the easiest job, but every time I have seen him he has had a smile on his face and a great attitude. It is people like him that keep me coming back to target. Great store, Great employees, only thing that bothered me is the super special customers not wearing a mask correctly. It's annoying and irritating asl. I would like to know if I can do the same. Don't get me started.! I do enjoy my time in target, roaming the isles while collecting things in my cart. I come to this location very often. But I'm very discussed by the mess, I've taken pictures of the swim section with suits on the floor, the racks overloaded and disorganized to the MAX!! I am super disappointed with how this mess comes about. I spent a little time fixing the suits back onto the racks. It's not my job! read more

This review is based on the experience I had in the electronics department with the manager Anjelica. She is hands down, amazing! I was working remotely and had forgotten my laptop charger. Came to Target in a hurry and... Yowzers- it was 79.99. I thought I had seen it cheaper and casually mentioned this to her. She checked to see if it was on sale, she then checked cartwheel and then checked the internet, found it 1/2 off at Walmart and price matched it. I saved over 50%!!! Now keep in mind, this isn't typical but the fact that she cared enough and wanted me to save money was pretty sweet, I could have pinched myself. I am not a fan of super stores. It makes me uncomfortable to buy chicken and t-shirts at the same place. However, this Target is my favorite of all the Targets in the land. It's big, and clean and they have new plastic shopping carts that are sturdy and safe for my kids to sit in without getting their overly curious, little-people fingers pinched. Parking lot is huge and generally way cleaner than the other Targets I've seen. They also have a much bigger selection of products than I've seen at the other Targets in the area, which is exciting if you're into coupons. I've also noticed that certain items I've bought at other "bargain" stores (like Winco) are way cheaper here. Props to Elizabeth the cashier, who was SUPER-EXCITED! when I brought a handful of coupons to her line. (I profile cashiers and she looked nice..and she didn't make me feel like a giant douche for holding up her line)..and Joe, who didn't just point and say "B block" (Iike I know what the poot that means) when I asked him where water filters were. Dude walked me over and showed me, which is so rare these days. This Target is not the closest to my house, but it is worth the extra gas money to get there. read more

I am writing this review after multiple disappointments. It seems that the cashiers are untrained. They constantly rescan items that were already scanned, therefore overcharging! I am so frustrated with this, I have been overcharged for an item because the cashier accidentally scans an item twice! I had to tell the cashier today after you scan the item put it in the bag so you don't get confused. Someone train the cashiers!!! read more

This is specifically about their pharmacy. It is a CVS pharmacy, I didn't know that and that was convenient because that where I usually went anyway but this was closer and I just needed the drugs now. (I had a terrible cold and didn't want to like... stand, let alone drive further than I had to.) So I go in, hand over the Rx, and the clerk checks every prescription against what my insurance will cover. She wanted to make sure my insurance covered exactly what the doctor wrote the prescription for, and if they didn't, she wanted to make sure I knew that and was offered an equal alternative. That was SUPER appreciated. She could have just put it on through and then surprised me with a big bill. She ended up finding that the inhaler I was prescribed wasn't covered, but an equal inhaler was so that was no issue. Wait time was pretty average, 15 minutes. Luckily I was in Target... and I could spend a lot of time in Target. Very quick, very nice transaction. It was very much appreciated. read more

This is undoubtedly my favorite Target. Most importantly, it is spic and span. I've never experienced an issue with cleanliness here, even in the restrooms which is really saying something. I feel this Target has more merchandise and less people than the Riverpark locations and other Targets that I have visited in Fresno and Clovis. I typically notice a greater variety in sizes in the women's clothing section. What can't you purchase at Target?! Be sure to check out the dollar section! There is also a Starbucks in this store which I find extremely convenient. I have a 5% off red debit card and I can even use it at the Starbucks. I appreciate the customer service desk as well. One time, they held my patio chairs until I was able to switch cars and come back to the store to pick them up and load them into a bigger car. I received help loading the patio chairs in my car from one of the customer service members, too. read more

This is a very large Target that is well stocked and clean. Perhaps because it was early morning, there were few open check stands, however it was a Saturday when one would expect large crowds for the store. The store does have self-check stations of which I do not avail myself because I feel that it's eliminating jobs. read more

The experience was awful because we had to wait 40 minutes to check out as their system was down, this should never happen with a big company like this. It's pretty ghetto . We also saw 2 other customer stranding their carts because they cannot wait . The arrangement of Items were well, but I must say inventory management for this target is poor too as I did not manage to get mini can coke and some arrowhead water, very basic things . This Target used to be one of the best in town... not anymore. The restroom was filthy, no seat covers, the sinks and floors are black from being neglected for so long. Surprised there was even soap in the dispensers. Continuing into the store.. everything is a mess. Return carts in the middle of the aisles blocking the way.. shelves are bare and need to be stocked. The filth continued. Got to the check out with only some of the items that were on my list.. the checkout conveyer was disgusting.. aren't they supposed to clean those? Then the card reader didn't work and they had to restart the transaction. I was then instructed to "remove the card and rub the chip"... yes because this happens every where I go and it's the chip on my card and not their broken reader ::sarcasm::.... I thought I accidentally went to Walmart for a second.. seriously disappointed. read more

I like coming to this Target when I'm out on this side of town. It's been remodeled and now has the full grocery store inside. If it didn't take me a half hour to get home from here I'd definitely stock up on groceries (but frozen/cold stuff wouldn't make it home). The aisles are huge, which I love, because in the older stores there would be constant human/shopping cart jams. My motto is to never use a shopping cart unless absolutely necessary, so yes, you'll see me running through the store with my huge reusable shopping carts jam packed! They never seem to be out of stuff like the RiverPark or Bullard store, which I love. Best of all, they have the big bags of my cat litter (Feline Pine) for under $9. All the other stores are always sold out of it. So they get stars for that! Overall I like this store. Parking is pretty easy too, since the lot is huge (although last night there were people driving through it like they were out on Herndon). read more

I'm a fan of Target. Their Black Friday wasn't crazy at all and did a bulk of my shopping there with my family. It was easy to find things. On any other day, it just seems to run better and the workers are helpful and pleasant. I have a Target credit card and get 5% off anyhow, so that's always a big plus. read more

This review is strictly for the Starbucks at this location. I went in this evening to order an Iced Green Latte. I was standing like a dummy waiting to be helped by I believe his name is Ricardo and there was also a girl who was working at the time didn't catch her name. Mind you it was not busy at all. Ricardo finally approached the register and did not even communicated with me. I was the one who greeted him. While he was making my order a couple was waiting for a while also to be acknowledged by one of them but they were smart enough to leave. In less than a second I saw the manager and all employees all of the sudden turned into police officers with" Walky Talkies on hands " and two employees immediately blocking the entrance gates. This review is strictly for the JUNIORS DEPARTMENT. A few days ago I came to target for some back to school clothing for my children and what happened to me was a complete shock. Let me tell you that I won't be shopping here EVER again after this experience and I recommend you all do the same if you believe in what's right. FIRST off, let me begin by saying the place was trashed. I should have known something was up because I've never seen the clothing look so bad. There was clothes on the floor in piles being walked on by customers, empty hangers everywhere, there was even a slurpee thrown down onto a pile of shirts soaking them and staining them blue. My shoes were stuck to the floor after walking through the department which is CARPET mind you. Just so you get an idea of the filth. I even looked at a few shirts only to see armpit stains and even a wad of gum melted onto the side of a shirt. Are you kidding me? Does target really think that's ok? I knew I should have walked out then and there but I made the mistake of staying for a few more minutes. The employees never asked me how I was or if I could find anything. They were huddled together near the dressing rooms WITH THE MANAGER all on their phones blasting rap music and talking loudly. When I came closer they began talking louder and what I heard was sickening. These girls were talking about getting blacked out at Jimbo's. I felt like these employees definitely made a point to make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I don't understand how Target could hire people like this and I don't understand how someone could still be employed after. After I heard that I grabbed my kids to leave and one of my children tripped on the pile of clothes and fell into a rack. Not one employee asked if we were alright or apologized, instead I heard them snicker at my 5 year old child. I am absolutely sickened and outraged by these employees. I have called and left a complaint to management as well. It would be nice to see Target make better hiring choices instead of hiring drunks from Jimbo's dive bar. read more

Very well-managed store. I returned a bicycle, didn't have my receipt. Not only did they graciously accept my return but they actually assembled a new bike to my liking while I waited. I was shocked by the exemplary customer service. The manager actually gave me his personal cell number and called me when the bicycle was ready for pick up. Great store, great management. read more

This is my favorite Target in the Fresno/Clovis area. It is always clean and has the BEST selection over the other Target stores. I love the huge grocery section and all of the clearance end caps. Parking is always easy, store is rarely packed like you may run into at any given Walmart. Staff is great, no problems there. Lines rarely get overwhelming. Bonus, Starbucks inside! I wish I lived closer to this store because I would go much more often. I always stop by here when I am needing something and am in the area. read more
