I'm not going to lie, I go here because I have to.This Target is clean but poorly staffed. It takes forever to get through and often no one asks me if I need help. I have to seek people out. I know it's a Target but it would benefit the business to work more with their customers. A smile can take you a long way. read more

Oh my god I'm dying laughing at all the reviewers who gave this store 1 or 2 stars, your right on! too funny! This Target is a complete mess, I always shop independently, whatever i can't find i buy elsewhere, I never interact with the staff, ghetto! Place is a mess, and I always scan my items, and go to customer service to get my 1.75 back, ridiculous. Also as a rule of thumb, only go to Target early morning b4 10am, or the last hour its open, and never on the weekends. I've learn my lesson. Still the items that do make it to the shelfs are 2 for 1's with great prices, and lots of deals. read more

Don't do the drive up service. I waited for almost 20 minutes, called the store twice, and still had to go in to f grab my order. When I went inside, the worker at the pick up desk was on his phone. He scanned my code and I literally saw the device alert him. The entire process is cool, but very disorganized. Target needs runners solely for this, or just do away with it completely. read more

My sister and I went to Target on Sunday afternoon to get a screen protector for her iPhone. Well the male employee was incredibly inattentive to all costumers and talking to his colleagues the whole time. When my sister asked where she could find the screen protector he pointed at an Ile and didn't really tell us where. We had to return several times to get a concrete answer and to retrieve the item since it was locked. When we went to pay for it, the employee was doing the same thing. It shouldn't take so long for a customer to find an item and pay for it. It took at least 7 mins for my sister to catch the clerks attention and was super rude. Target needs new staff. read more

Not all Target stores are created equal. Going to this one is not fun. Be prepared to face an apocalyptic scene - masses of people unsure of the direction their carts are traveling, occasional bare shelves, mass confusion and long, long waits. Sometimes you have to go to Target - and if you do this one is conveniently just off the 1 line. But after a visit that took the good part of the afternoon I came home comatose to my boyfriend who said, "Was it really worth it?" It wasn't. read more

This place is a letdown to the Target brand, poor customer service and definitely no bargains to be had here.

One thing that I despise about this store in particular is the fact that it is ALWAYS packed. If you want to shop here you must come really early or really late in order to find shorter lines. Now some would say this is normal but the fact that I have NEVER seen all the cashiers working at once just shows how little they care. They also do this adorable thing where they say they are hiring but then deny it once you get there. It's compete BS. The service is not all that bad but the store itself sucks. read more

Zero Star Rating but I put in 1 star. I contacted this store after being in the Harlem Target, to have chairs put aside for me to pick up today, 11/11/12. When I talked with the manager at this store, she refused to put any chairs aside. When I told her that the Harlem Target, was charging $19, less per chair, she would not meet their price. When the Harlem Target Guest Services staff called the manager, she said that she would hold their 1 chair left but would not meet Harlem Target's price. These 2 stores are approximately 6 miles apart. Had I bought 4 chairs, it would have cost me $76. more in the Bronx than the Harlem Target. I would suggest going to Harlem Target or another chain. Please let the Bronx Target know that you are going elsewhere. PS read more

I've been going here for years, from the day it opened and yes it's convenient I love the variety and prices, but the employees are so unprofessional the cashiers are having conversations with one another , yelling loudly all over the store in Spanish with one another not paying attention to scanning the items, texting on their cellphones., u rarely get a thank you or any eye contact , it's a shame the managers seem like they really try and make a decent store. Sometimes I drive to mount Vernon or white plains where it's more subdued. read more

Always super crowded and way understocked and understaffed with long lines. The day after Black Friday, I was surprised to see they had associates with handheld credit card machines standing in front of the registers to check out customers who were paying with cards. Great concept, and it saved me from standing in a 40 minute line to purchase two items. Definite plus from management implementing this. I do love the free rooftop parking, so if you have a car, try to come during the week in the morning to pick up what you need and just get the hell out. read more

I swear, I've reviewed this Target before. (Am I losing my mind? Perhaps...) I've been here so many times! When I first moved to the NYC metro area back in 2009, I ended up here on the day I moved to the southeastern corner of Yonkers; little did I know, seven years later, I'd be able to walk to this Target from my current apartment! I've got no beef with this place; I've been more abysmal Target locations. (Hey, Atlantic Center Target. I'm looking at YOU...) I come to this Target for three main reasons: Cheap work clothes, cheap underwear, and cheap household supplies / decor. The former is probably the area I have hit or miss luck with; the selection of clothing is always, surprisingly, vast. (At least in my experiences.) However, the sizes don't vary; Murphy's Law indicates that if I find something I like, it will come in an XS size or an XXL size. It's like clockwork. However, I always have success when raiding their panty bins when I need to stock up. (Ha! Who needs the bi-monthly Panty Raid at Victoria's Secret?) My local grocery stores occasionally fail at stocking more specific kitchen supplies that I need (certain plastic bag sizes, Gladware sizes, et al), so Target never fails me there. Finally, I just occasionally want to buy a new throw pillow or kitchen gadget for the hell of it; once again, Tar-Jay to the rescue! If anything there is truly a hot mess, it's parts of the cosmetics and beauty aisles. The rear wall that holds a lot of Boots UK and Essie products is always in shambles. The aisle with the higher end beauty products (such as S.W. Basics of Brooklyn) is usually half empty. A few years ago, a new grocery section was added in the rear of the store! Though I don't do my grocery shopping there, I must say, it's surprisingly well-stocked, and the produce has never looked too shabby! They even have a corn-husking station. Reminds me of an old Wegman's I went to many years ago... Frankly, it's a good Target that gets the job done. It's my choice Target to go to in this large city of ours. read more

My daughter and I were in Target on Aug. 30, 2019, and we waited on line in the food court for 15 mins. When we finally got to the cashier, we ordered a pretzel and caramel popcorn. The cashier said they were out of both. I think the manager should have posted a notice saying which food items were not available anymore so customers don't waste their time standing on line for nothing. Then we went downstairs to pick up the items that I had ordered online that day. Even though I had received an email saying that my order was ready for pick up it was not ready. The cashier went to the back room and had to call another worker to go get the items off the shelf. Both cashiers were very nice. I don't blame them for anything. The manager needs to make sure things are running smoothly. read more

This location was pretty much a nightmare. I mean it was a Saturday night before Valentines day so I blame myself for that. I will say that they had more cashiers than the Atlantic Terminal location-so the long express line moves pretty quickly. I thought I was the only one who felt that way but apparently so that everyone else on the escalator who left empty-handed. The entire layout and selections felt like Walmart. They added more self checkouts which is great, but the price manipulation is unacceptable. Many many times, at least 10% of your items will scan higher than the listed shelf price. If you don't double check you will be overcharged. read more

Shopping here is not a pleasent experience. As others mention, the lines are incredibly long and slow. The longest of these is ususlly the so-called "express line." The associates on the floor try to be helpful but there aren't nearly enough of them for this vast and crowded store. Finding what you're looking for takes persistence and luck. Large, detailed maps showing what is where would be helpful. The store has a little of everything, but, surprisingly for its size, they tend to have just one or two brands per product. Depending on what you're looking for, the prices are not always the bargains you might expect. When shopping for clothes it seems I'd do a lot better if I were about fifty pounds overweight. But they do seem to have almost every type of product. read more

My god that took for ever . I'm one patient cookie but that line was ridiculous. I honestly think it took me longer to pay then it didn't to pick my things out . Very unemployable experience. The selection of items was decent . Could definitely have a fresher variety of fruits and vegetables. But over all it was ok . Will most likely return . It's a Target in New York. It will always be chaotic and possibly smell weird. They are decently well stocked and I've never stayed more than 20 mins in line. There are taxis outside if you end up overspending and don't want to haul everything on the subway. read more

Even by Target's standards,the customer service here is awful. There are almost always lines of considerable length (5-10 minutes waiting for a cashier is not uncommon). The only reason it gets a second star is that it is Target and the price/selection keep it in the mix. read more

The absolute worse experience ever! No wonder I always hesitate to come here. I placed an order on their website -formula for my toddler. It says in 2 hours it'll be ready so I go in 4 hours later. The woman tells me it's not ready, everybody who works in retail like myself knows that when someone places an online order in order for it to be completed, an ACTUAL PERSON has to complete it. So whatever it's not ready I'm annoyed because I went with my two toddlers. So I go get them to buy them in store, I tell her there's a gift card they're giving when you buy 2 cans like I was so she scans it and then says the total which was not what I paid online so she goes to speak to the manager and they both come over and long story short I pay what I paid online. I get home and am unpacking bags and the gift card is nowhere to be found. I'm fucking livid and WILL be calling corporate. I don't understand how difficult it must be to give a damn gift card when it's due or to make your system tell customers it will be more than 2 hours which is what the damn email says! Save yourself the stress and time and just go to the one in Hutchinson. Much better customer service than these rude fucking people here. read more

I recently moved to Inwood from Fort Greene in Brooklyn. This Target is a thousand times better than the Target at Atlantic. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. For the most part the store was clean, organized, and well stocked. The complete opposite of the Brooklyn Target. read more

If i could give this store -5 stars i would. This is by far the worst target i have ever been to. The staff is horrible, extremely lazy and they run away when they see a customer ask them a question. They never have anything on stock unless you order online for store pick up than they magically have it. They need to do something with this store. read more

I like how huge this target is! There's a wide selection and range of products here, as there should be. The prices are good too! Baby items are much cheaper here than what you'd find at a place like Babies R Us -- with the same amount of quality! I hate how it smelled like pure ass on your way inside the store though. It was absolutely disgusting. Even my boyfriend smelled it. I wouldn't trust the Pizza Hut inside lol if the food smells that bad, imagine what it could do to you. Overall, they have a nice selection along with decent prices. I wouldn't mind coming back. The customer service here is great too. This is unfortunately my local target. I have a baby so I always need diapers, wipes, and formula. The works. Going to this target is literally a drag. I took out a BJs membership and stopped purchasing the Pure Pampers just to stay away from this store. Katherine and that other middle aged man who run the baby department are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered not just in target but ever. They literally drag their feet and sucked their teeth when you ask for help. This target seems to have an issue with keeping the Pure line in stock the man will answer that if you don't see it that means we don't have it with the worse attitude. I'm sorry I asked because sometimes it's in stock in the back. Excuse me for asking you to do your job. ANYWAYS the pure line might not be in BJs but at least I don't come out of their with a headache. I hate this target so much gives all other targets a bad name. If target didn't have such great deals, I probably would avoid this place altogether. The crowds are ridiculous. Stocks always ravaged and almost empty. I often go looking for something specific, and don't have it. But thank goodness they have isles and isles of other things that catch my eye. This place is an urban jungle. Applause for having FREE parking which is really the only redeeming value. The parking here is the only thing that separates this location from it's nearby sister store on Exterior Street. Here you will experience cluttered aisles, inept "team members" and LONG, time-wasting lines at the checkout counters. The only Target I hate worse than here is The one on Exterior Street. read more

I ordered a gift card on 2/1/18 and paid for rush shipping. The item shows delivered and signed for but not by me. I contacted ups and was told to contact target in reference to the issue. I've contacted target 7 times and have been given a run around. I was told I would be contacted within 3-4 days and have not heard from anyone. I've called and asked to speak to a senior specialist and they are rude and don't care at all about my issue. All they say is "you have to wait" Target did not have to wait for me to pay for the item and now I'm given a run around and told to wait. I'm extremely upset and have had to deal with some of the worst and rudest senior specialist. I spend about $200-$300 a week in target because I feel they have the best products and good quality food and veggies. I'm at the point where I will no longer be shopping in target at all. Their total disregard and lack of concern for their customers issues is the main reason. I will also be posting reviews on all sites available. read more

Target earns 5 stars but this particular location requires - 2. There is only so much "rachetness" I can handle. ONLY visit before 10:30 am. Or you will be subjected to children running unattended and screaming, people talking WAY too loud on their cell phones, and the worst - people filling their cart with items and then deciding at the register what they won't buy and then just leaving it in a pile around the register like TRUE pigs. It infuriates me how some people act in and treat public areas. The workers leave a lot to be desired as well, I've even heard workers using foul language. However, a worker went above and beyond searching for and locating an item for me the other day. He gave me some hope for and faith in the youth of America. read more

Yes, I grab a caramel mochiatto from the starbuck's inside the store and I go on shopping grab anything that I need that is on sale!! The new amazing addition is the wonderful supermarket they have great deal but you must get there fast or you will find nothing left on the shelf. read more
