I came here on a Wednesday at about 12:30pm. I'm not sure why a TJ Maxx and a Marhsall's are so close to each other. They carry extremely similar products. Which makes sense since they are owned by the same parent company. It's really hard to find much of a difference. TJ Maxx has a fine jewelry section. That's the only difference I could find. Beauty products are same as other TJ Maxx locations, and Marshall's. I came here looking for the little silicone salad dressing bottles that I saw at the Columbus Circle location. They had other types, like the mini sauce bottles, the knick knack packs, and the salad dressing containers from Sistema. Since these are discount stores, I know it's difficult to have consistent inventory throughout all locations, as many things are limited stock, or only sold in select stores. But it would be nice if shopping was a little more predictable, and I could find the same products in all locations.

Everything is on a much smaller scale compared to others location but still great quality brands such as UGG, Nike, Michael Kors, and others.

This Columbus Avenue location is good overall, but it feels like every time I visit, the layout has…read morechanged again. On my most recent trip, I noticed the jewelry section was moved closer to the fitting rooms, and the makeup, skincare, and body products are now near the elevators. Everything feels a bit mushed together at times, which makes browsing a little confusing. The linen section could definitely use improvement there isn't much variety when it comes to pillows or bedding. On the bright side, checkout has gotten faster! I've noticed more cashiers recently, which makes a big difference. I usually stop by this location when I'm looking for something I couldn't find elsewhere, or when I want to compare prices between TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.

You're required to hand over all items before entering, and the staff takes their time counting everything to ensure sensors are attached. When you come out, the process repeats--they count everything again and ask what you're purchasing. It's honestly quite annoying. Security presence is minimal; the guard usually just stands near the elevator and doesn't seem actively engaged. Occasionally, there are NYPD officers on-site, though it's unclear why. The checkout line is typically very long, but to their credit, it does move quickly. Overall, I give this location 3 out of 5 stars. I usually manage to find something worth buying, but I'm not really a fan of the overall experience at this store.

I went there to shop, and as soon as I walked onto the floor, security started following me. Being followed around ruined my entire shopping experience. Every time I go there, it feels very uncomfortable to shop. They have police at the entrance and security harassing Black men as they try to shop. Burlington Coat Factory is a terrible place for a Black man to shop because they racially profile you as a criminal. It's located in a Black community, yet it targets Black men while they're simply trying to shop. It does not feel safe shopping there. You're treated as guilty before you're even seen as a customer. I hate that Burlington Coat Factory made me feel this way. Just a terrible place to shop. "Boycott this Burlington Coat Factory!"

So I was about to spend some quality time in here however my bladder was acting up and they claimed restroom was not in working order. Management if you want people to spend time and money in your store make sure to have a restroom available. It's completely unacceptable and waste of time for your customers to go find a restroom that they can use. I went downstairs and asked Raymour and Flanigan if they knew of a public restroom and they were so kind to let me use theirs. Did I bother going back upstairs to Burlington? No. Why should I? What if I have to go to the bathroom again? I think it should be illegal for stores not to have restrooms available for their customers
