This Target is gigantic. It looked like it would have virtually anything you would want to purchase. They had a lot of groceries. They had produce. They had clothes. It was spacious. When I ignore them they start talking behind me about how I ignore them. Very annoying and honestly I don't even look at electronics here because of them. read more

What started off as the best Target in the area has become the worst! The shelves are never fully stocked, the lines are never opened and the self checkout line is always extremely long! Carts are always gone or broken and full of trash and it's hard to get help. Yesterday I did curbside and to my surprise nobody ever brought my order out and they had the doors taped off with yellow tape. I still haven't received my order or any information about why my order was never brought out. It's a very bad look for the company and the fact that the store seem to be closed but says it's open while still taking orders that will not be filled is unprofessional. read more

After 18 years, I'm done with Broadview Target. Poor management, plain and simple. Checkout lanes take far too long due to short staffing and jibber-jabbering checkers, and self-check is aggressively policed for customers with baskets with 11 or 12 items (beyond the ludicrous limit of 10 items) even mid-day, mid-week when only 1 or 2 people are using self-check. There's just no reason for this whatsoever. Constant shortages of the few items I buy, and inventory limited to the most plain vanilla version of any given item, make shopping a bland and generic experience. Comparison shopping revealed that Walmart on nearby Desplaines has everything I would otherwise buy at Broadview Target, well-stocked, but every price was lower (sometimes considerably so). And Walmart has two large self-check areas with no item limit. The experience at Walmart is surprisingly far more pleasant than at Broadview Target now. End of an era. Perhaps I'll sometimes shop at the Oak Park Target (again, no limit on self-check, and 95% of the inventory at Broadview with similar prices), but never again at Broadview. read more

And I've now tried to call this location several times to ask about the items I purchased and did not receive, but the phone rings off the hook. It's 9:15am on a Wednesday. In this location, all the areas are always organized, making everything easier to find. All the worker are always helpful and supportive with anything you want, they even take you to the area of what you are looking for. I just left the store with what I thought were all my purchases. Come to realize, the cashier only gave me half of what I paid for. I thought it was all in the bag. Looks like he split it into two bags. I didn't think I needed to verify every item I paid for, when walking away. I tried calling to speak to someone about this and getting my things or a refund. Literally, NO ONE and I mean NO One answers the phone. It doesn't matter which prompt on the phone you select, the phone will keep ringing until it disconnects. Never shopping there again. read more

I was on my way somewhere else but I saw this Target and I stopped by since I had to return an item I had in my vehicle. With plenty of parking it was easy to park and get inside the store. Found the front desk and it was easy to return my item. The store was clean and organized. The people in the return desk were talking to each other while I was standing there but in a few seconds I had to step up and interrupt them so I could get this item returned. It was fast, so I would come back to this store again if I am near by. They also have a drive up in their parking lot just in case you do not want to walk inside the store. read more

I never thought I would be able to part with my favorite Target on Peterson in Rogers Park, but I am really getting used to this Super Target in Broadview! I am really appreciative they open at 7am, because I like going early when no one is there. It is awesome to get in, get out and get home before 8am on the weekends so I can run the rest of my errands! I even ended up going to this Target Optical for my glasses (see other review). This has truly become my "one stop shop" and even though I miss it, I really don't even go to Trader Joe's anymore. It is just way more convenient to buy everything here. read more

I'm about to completely stop going to this Target and I live across the street. If you looked at my pictures, then you understand why. In the last three months, I have continually had to leave and go to a different store in order to get what I need or just get something different. The Target app will tell me it is in stock but going to the store it is a completely different story. Unless they completely turn this store around, just go to Hillside. read more

I really like this Target, as they have some better clearance deals than other Targets throughout Chicagoland. I once found a purple Lego backpack on clearance for $5, and this was right after the Lego movie 2 had just come out! This is just one example, as I have definitely scored many top deals here. Since this specific Target is also a grocery, there is a wide selection of hard to find items such as vegetarian Fieldroast. Their cartwheel deals rarely sell out here, either. This is definitely helpful. Both a Starbucks and a separate cafe are also inside, which makes for happy children and parents if hungry/thirsty. On the con side, the employees don't look the happiest and the bathrooms have room for cleanliness improvements. Just try to avoid both. I will continue to stop here on my random occasions. Before I write my review, Yelp reminds me that businesses are doing the best they can during covid and should take into consideration if things didn't go as plan. HOWEVER this Target takes it to the extreme when placing a curbside pick up. -and I quote one of the employees, "THERES FOUR OF US, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS... SELFIE TIME!" Three workers came over to my car with a small cart. One holding the front end of the cart, two workers each holding the handle standing next to eachother ‍and the 4 th worker, that first came to my car to ask for the app code, He stayed while the 3 walked up. **My items- pack of paper towels. Pack of tp. And two bags.** there was an assembly line for my items one worker handed to another to hand to me to put in my trunk. That's ridiculous. I choose curbside pick up to not be involved with anyone & help with not being another person touching everything in the store. These 4 were not considerate. Even when I shop I only go to a check out with one person who is the same person that bags. There's no extra person bagging at Target check out. Even self check out, that employee can care less in interacting with a customer. If this was a means of training employees this is a horrible way of going about it. read more

Huge SuperTarget, has everything you could possibly want in an all-purpose store. I was particularly impressed with their fresh grocery and produce offerings, as they have many options for each type of food. For example, they had all the different alternative milks available, as well as many vegan items like tempeh. I tried their freshly made hoagie bread as well, and I was majorly impressed! Their croissants were very buttery and flaky. Any other personal items that I need, they definitely have it. The only thing with Targets in general are that the prices are not nearly as low as a store like Walmart. However, the quality of the items tends to be better. Keep an eye out for any sale items, because those are more reasonably priced. Plenty of parking in the parking lot, as well as carts. They even have cart handle wipes at the entrance, which is something I wish every store had! read more

Worst experience here. A man once came in threatening to shoot the store and no one did anything besides ask him POLITELY to leave. Several costumers and employees were so concerned while leaders did nothing. This is by far the worst experience I've had with target. I came in to place an order for 3 pcs. I told the gentleman that I would be feeding the homeless in downtown Chicago and I needed the chicken to be on time. He assured me that it would be and that they didn't have any orders. My order was to be ready at 1. It's 145 pm. And I still haven't received my full order. Talked to the manager he gave me 7 dollars off my order. I walked up to the guy giving out the sanitized carts. I find a discarded face mask inside mine, I turn around and say "hey there's a mask in this one." The guy just looks at me blankly, and fishes the mask out like he doesn't see what the big deal is, but doesn't spray the area or anything. I go "can I get another one?" This store is great for this area and they provide a service to this community. We go here all the time for pharmacy needs and while there we shop for other needs. They will price match if you ask for it, and we do. The people that work this location are for the most part are very good at their jobs. A few minor troubles have been resolved to great satisfaction. We shall continue shopping here as it makes sense. read more

When I order online, nearly every time this Target puts previously opened/returned items in my order. They did it so often with underwear and socks, I complained and someone in customer service assured me this wasn't an acceptable practice and they would connect with the team to reiterate that they shouldn't do this. Well today I got another item--an iRobot mop--that had clearly been opened and used, with dirty pads put back in the box. If I wanted a used item, I'd shop on eBay or at a thrift store and pay a lot less. When I pay for new items, I expect new items, not used and returned merchandise. Store review: Good Target location based on inventory, but staff-wise so so. The huge plus is that you can find good deals scattered along the endcaps. If you go early then you end up getting a chance at the really good mark downs, but you have to be familiar with the store. This is a super target so they carry groceries as well. Produce is fresh. The only major downside is check out is amazingly slow and they have so few cashiers open that it is painful when you want to get out. I have no idea what is going on in this store, but it's like no one cares anymore. I won't bore you with another complaint about the CVS pharmacy because I have had the same experience as many people below. Let's talk about the store... like the deli that is closed in the middle of the day. (Like at lunchtime, when you might want lunch meat.) What about the shelves that were torn apart and barely stocked? The clothing section that looked like a horde pillaged it? Filthy bathroom? I go here frequently because this is on my way home, but today was the last straw. When I checked out the cashier didn't really feel the need to greet me, or even tell me the total at the end of the transaction. Employees are amazing with customer service, but I came across a grouchy woman that was wearing a red Hunter jacket. She was being rude to an employee. What a great image on the store *sarcasm* never shopping there again and taking my business elsewhe 2ndly, I went with my grandfather to the store to buy an AC unit. We were in a hurry. We asked help from an employee name Rachelleee. She helped us but with such attitude and was in a hurry which was fine I guess since we were as well. Told us to meet her at guest service and when she came, her dumbass mole self, brought the wrong one and tried tell my grand daddy that it was the right one after he told her na, and then she went back. Okay...so it's a Target..well oops a Super Target. And they're right it is super sized. I'm all for getting things done as fast as possible, and this fits the bill. I was able to pick up some milk, butter and yes they have bananas too. Along with those things, I bought a lamp for my bedroom and some other stuff. I was impressed with their selection across the board, from the grocery store that had a liquor department and the regular Target section of the store. My first thought is that this will be just some grocery and a regular Target put together. Nope, both sides of the equation were worthy of putting "Super" in front of the name. read more

This site gets a little flack for its location, but I think this is the nicest Target around. Once a Super K-Mart, this Target is quite large and extensive with amounts of products. I always end up finding what I need, and 15 other things that I don't need. On my most recent quest, I found a swiffer sweeper that someone returned, for 2.56 on clearance! The same thing was hanging up a few aisles over for 9.99! Their prepared salads and wraps are better than expected. The salads have real chicken in them, white breast meat, not the white breast meat scraps that are recombined into a chicken shape like you find elsewhere. And the prices are reasonable- huge salad for 3.49, wraps are 4-5. I love the clothes here. Just wish the sales were better-- a chronic Target flaw. Oh well. I can't not go back!! read more

I actually wrote a glowing review of this Targets pharmacy awhile back. But my how things have changed. The outsourcing of the pharmacy may have been a good move for Target but for me this is the worst collaboration I have ever had to deal with. The customer service has gone from stellar to sucks.There are at least 25 pharmacies between my home and the Broadview, Illinois Target. Moving forward I will pick one of those.Which by the way means I wont be doing my grocery shopping or other shopping there as well. I went to the pharmacy today at 5:15 to pick up my prescriptions. I wasn't able to get one because I let the paper prescription expire. No biggie. I couldn't get one of my prescriptions that had been on auto refill because apparently it is a type of prescription that can not be auto refilled anymore. Again, no biggie. But I need the other 5 and I needed them filled today because today is the last day I have insurance. WHICH I TOLD TO THE PHARMACIST AND THE TECH!!! I asked them to fill them and went over to the in-store Starbucks to wait. And I wait. No text ever comes. I walk over and low and behold the pharmacy is closed. THEY ALWAYS TEXT ME WHEN MY PRESCRIPTION IS READY. When someone drops off a prescription at 5:15 wouldn't you think the tech would say fyi we close at 6:00. Nope. Didn't happen. So now I don't have insurance or my prescriptions. THANKS CVS. Not. This review does not apply to Jason. Jason is an amazing pharmacist who gets to know his customers, explains things and has great customer service. AND WOULD HAVE MENTIONED THE PHARMACY WAS CLOSING SOON. Which means he will probably be gone soon because he is too smart to work for morons. And for those asking. The Pharmacy hours sign was located at the far other end of the counter. I had no reason to walk in that direction. If they were posted by the drop off wall I didn't see them as I had no reason to look at the wall when talking to the pharmacist. I would like to thank the Pharmacists Debra and Grishma for what they did for my daughter. My daughter has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She needs a Glucagon Emergency Kit. My insurance would not flip the bill. Knowing how much the emergency kit cost and I needed 2 of them, they did what they could to make sure we got the best price for the kit. I would recommend Target CVS (Minute Clinic) in Broadview Village Square to every one and anybody who needs the prescriptions. Thank you both for everything. read more

OMG I have experienced the chatty cathy cashier from hell! I get into this nice clean and organized store to shop it takes 15 minutes for me to get my items and make it to checkout. However the other 30 minutes is in checkout with chatty Cathy cashiers who interact WAY too much with customers! It is also like the are hand typing the items in instead of scanning them! Get more cashiers and get faster managers! Get me some self scanning checkouts! read more
