The living room furniture I saw already had SOLD tags on them. The rest were some mattresses in the back I believe. So I didn't have too many options. The man who worked there was very friendly and told me that I could go on their website and choose whatever I wanted (minus exclusive Ashley Homestore collection items) He is contracted to where he can get the items for you that regular people like me and you might not be able to. I've seen this concept before, and I'm actually a firm believer in trying before you buy especially when it comes to a big purchase like furniture. I've been in enough furniture stores to know when something looks nice...half the time it ends up being uncomfortable when I sit down to try it! So if you're like me and want to try things out, you may not be likely to buy something here. If you're someone who buys stuff online all the time anyways, have at it! The worker here seemed to be really nice and would probably be willing to assist and answer any questions you had!

The furniture, art, and other decorative pieces were gorgeous and priced really well. There were some unique finds that you probably wouldn't look for but would be glad you stumbled upon and lots of classic pieces too. I became obsessed with a couple of items but wanted to measure before making a purchase. Steve happily provided his card in case things worked out. Unfortunately, I returned home to find that my hunch was correct and the pieces wouldn't be a good fit. No worries. I'll for sure keep Soho in mind during the rest of my redecorating!

I'm not entirely sure where they source these pieces from, but they're a perfect combination of sturdy, well-made, and surprisingly lightweight. I have a beautiful painted black side table from here that I've loved for years and has held up beautifully. No scratches or anything. I like to swing on through anytime I'm in Homewood. Prices range from about $200 to $1,000+, usually just depending on the scale of the piece. I nearly took home a large, tall wardrobe style cabinet. They have a sweet store cat and the staff is always very kind and helpful. Stock here rotates often, so there's always something new to see.

A few vendors offer classic French antique furniture pieces and decorative accessories. Others offer more contemporary repurposed pieces. My favorite vendor presented an interesting selection of antlers and Native American weaponry presented in a very classy manner (think of an estate house not a rustic cabin). Other architectural stores may have a larger selection old beams, doors, windows, garden statuary, but without any junk. Frankly, I think Architectural Heritage has bought the best of the best from all the others stores and brought them here for us to see without sorting through any flea market items. This place would be a fun location for a Yelp Elite that would include a cocktail reception provided by a high end mixologist or a vineyard, elegant food, and classy band. The surroundings are great providing lots of eye candy and discussion. The two floor staff members were delightful for discussion and even offered great insight about the various vendors.
