On a weekend trip in Asheville from Washington, D.C., we needed googles for our daughter for our hotel pool. Luckily, this Target is near the airport and easy to get to! It's clean with helpful staff. Once we were done shopping, it took 22 minutes to get downtown Asheville. read more

I think I was in targets more on this trip than I have been in the last 2 years. If I'm being honest I wasn't shopping for myself. I'm traveling with my kids and because of food allergies and such Target tends to carry things that they can have while other stores do not. It was fairly early in the day and we wandered in to see if they could find something to eat along with visiting some of the other departments. I actually found a couple of items that would probably make decent gifts for some people back home. They were able to find just what they were looking for. I on the other hand wasn't able to find anything really useful for myself. Still it was a pretty nice store and employees came across as very friendly. read more

Sometimes, you just need to shop when you're on vacation. I do love that Targets are usually one of a couple of layouts, so that if you're familiar with that, you'll be familiar with the stores. Target was clean and neat. The shelves were stocked neatly and the employees were friendly when encountered. I wish there had been a few more regular registers open. read more

Always a good spot for the must-haves, the really-wants, and the cutesy-impulse buys. I am a grocery-bargain shopper. I hate going to Walmart because of the lack of staff and terrible produce. I like going to Aldi, but that takes some planning and extra time. I like grocery shopping at Target because it is always clean and organized. People are available to help when needed. There are always great deals on the Target app, and they'll combine those deals with coupons. I'm really enjoying using the "drive-up" option when I need to order household items. Usually, the team member is at the parking space waiting on me! They are always fast and friendly! read more

Given that Allegiant had put my bag on the wrong plane, I was without any clothes or toiletries -- and ultimately, would be without my bag the entire trip. Did I mention don't fly on Allegiant? But I digress. Fortunately, there was a Target nearby the airport where I could purchase some clothes on the cheap without either stinking up my travel attire or just prancing around in my birthday suit. It was after 8pm, closing on 9pm when we arrived at the Target about five minutes from the airport. I made a bee-line to the men's apparel section, and proceeded to pick out a couple of short-sleeved button-down shirts, a v-neck short-sleeved shirt, a pair of shorts, a package of boxer briefs, and socks. From there, I went over to pick up some toiletries, before finding myself walking past what turned out to be their beer shelves... While most Target beer shelves by me in South Florida are not much to pipe about, Asheville's version of "basic beers" are ones such as like Wyndridge, Wicked Weed, Rogue, Avery, amongst others. I had to be stopped from buying about $200 worth of beer since we would be going to breweries the next day. Despite my situation with the idiot that is Allegiant, Target helped settle my nerves with a stress-free shopping experience at their Arden, NC location. I applaud them and wish them many good beers on the horizon. read more

They literally never answer their phone. Why would I drive out of my way to go there and possibly not get what I need.

It really could be worse, but at 7pm on a Tuesday , it looked like one of those scenarios where all the adults disappeared for a short period of time and it's just pandemonium. Shelves: Ravaged and empty, pallets everywhere, half opened boxes exploding in every isle seemingly abandoned. Few teenage employed in various isles just having a good time. Nothing particularly awful just more like a wal-mart experience.... read more

This is the only Target in the area and it's a pretty good one. As with most chains, for the most part, you know what you're going to get. This location is consistent in delivering a seamless customer experience. There is a Starbucks shop inside the store as well for those interested. read more

Target is always on target, at least on my range. They have lower prices now, and sales are outstanding. This location is in a shopping mecca. Some people like that, and some people don't. Remember to check out the end caps for the sale stuff. Back-to-School essentials are always very well organized. Look for them in late summer. Guest designers still show off their stuff at Target. Research that every so often so you know what's going down. There is a family bathroom at the front that toddlers love to desecrate. Recently, we returned leggings that we purchased in early December 2015. They were poorly constructed. They gave us our money back even though several months had passed since the original purchase. This Target has a knack for attracting colorful characters. People announcing their need for a beer, people cutting you off, people dissing you after you tried to help their kid find his people, kid people commenting on your dyed, non-organic crackers; attached mom people ignoring the slight and buying with abandon. Sometimes it can get to you, and becomes material. Sometimes it becomes immaterial. On nice days, after shopping, we walk down to the very end of the parking lot past Lowe's to watch for planes at the Asheville Airport. I wonder where they are going or where they are coming from. I think about how I got to this Target, and wonder over the fact that a first "date" with my husband was at a Target and how this is the umpteenth visit to this one with kids and no date vibes at all. This Target has gone drastic downhill. So many empty shelves and the grocery section is full of out of date items. Many times in the past 6 months I've gotten home just to notice that items were days or weeks out of date. Also many out of date sale signs still up days later and Target refuses to honor that price. Asked a employee about a sale item that was out of stock and she raised her voice and said they didn't have any and she wished people would stop asking her. I asked if I could get a rain check and she again raised her voice and said they don't give rain checks. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because most of the cashiers I encounter are very friendly. They do seem overworked though as there will only be one or two lanes open and a crowd of people but then there will be 4 people handling returns and 2 customers at the return counter. Another thing is the overall cleanliness of the store has gone downhill. Last time I went to use the restroom and feces were on the stall walls snd the floor covered in water. Went back a week later and it looked about the same. Don't know if this was new feces or if they just hadn't cleaned it. Don't know if it's a staffing issue or a management issue, or both, but I hope this store gets better again. read more

Typical Target. Exactly like you would see anywhere in the country. Desperately in need of more staff. Waited about ten minutes at the electronics counter to find out if there were additional CDs in the back when it was not on the sales floor. This is one of the nicest Target stores that I have ever visited. It is always clean and well-stocked. Moreover, the one-dollar or "One Stop" section is exceptionally tidy compared to many other Target stores that I have visited in the past. The variety that Target offers is so large! I can get everything I need in one place!! Groceries, clothing, personal care items, pet supplies, electronics, toys, stationary...they have it all! The employees are also very friendly and I value that I can walk into a store and have such an enjoyable experience. read more
