One-stop shopping for the Apple Valley area, this Target is pretty much like most you'll encounter, but it supplies lots of good stuff, especially in the grocery area. I don't live here but when I come to visit family I always wind up at Target picking up a wide variety of good stuff from the grocer, and the usual stuff you need when you travel or need creature comforts. This Target has gone down hill fast! It's dirty, no one walks the departments and straightens up or picks up trash. Management walks around like they are better then the other employees, they stand around while we stand 6 deep inline and talk to each other. Not quite sure what is happening to this Target but I will not be returning!! Swung in there from Vegas on my way to my parent's to pick up groceries for Mother's Day dinner...what a mistake! What was supposed to be a 1 hr task took 2.5 hrs to accomplish. Strike #1 = First I stopped at the deli for fresh cut pepperoni. Worker on lunch for 1 hr. Nobody else was working in the deli and I was told that they were understaffed and I would have to wait. 1 person working the deli on Mother's Day?? I also noticed the fryer was down. I didn't need it but I'm sure other people did. Strike #2 = Air conditioning wasn't on, mind you, it was 80 degrees outside. When I asked about this issue an employee told me "Target doesn't run the air in the summer, only the winter". Uuummmm, excuse me? I asked her again for clarification & yes, I heard her correctly. How and the actual f..k does that make any sense??!! Strike #3 = Only 3 checkout lanes open on Mother's Day. REALLY? Strike #4 = The worker in the deli FINALLY came to. I put in my request and was told, after all this waiting, that they were out of my pepperoni. She said she would double check and I kid you not, this chick was slower than molasses. It took her 20 minutes to walk from the front of the display to back behind the display to look. What should have taken 2 minutes, took 20. She had 0 sense of urgency & gave 0 f..ks. What and the hell is wrong with people???????? Next time I will travel a few more miles and go to Winco for stuff like this. Wouldn't be surprised if this unorganized Target is closed down soon YUK!!! read more

One of my favorite Targets up in the high desert! This place is literally a one stop shop for me (since I always forget to bring things with me whenever we come up here.) This Target always has friendly staff, and their store is super clean. I always find what I need and I'm in and out easily. The only reason why I didn't give them five stars is because the waits to check out are usually long. They don't have that many registers open when I'm there, and it can be a while before I'm able to check out. read more

Beware of prices! This store has a good selection but after shopping here regularly I have to warn you that they routinely display signs for sales and the item still scans at the regular price. After the attitude of the "Target team member" today, I have to conclude they do it purposely. Today I was going to buy a sweater on a 30% off rack. Actually there were multiple signs saying all sweaters were 30% off. I scanned the sweater and there was no discount. I called someone to the location. She scanned several sweaters and just said "we will honor the discount. Tell them at checkout" I told her she needed to change the signs or get the sweaters to scan correctly. She walked away. I was not going to stand in the huge Christmas shopping line, hold it up and argue about price again so I did not buy any sweaters. You were warned! read more

Love this Target! It is close to our house and service is always friendly. It is clean and the layout is the same as other Targets. The Starbucks service has improved over the last couple years. I love being able to shop for groceries and shoes in the same store so that's a definite plus for this Target. For the most part, they are inexpensive and it seems as though they have way too many check out lines that are hardly ever open. There are often longer lines than would be expected (even on a weekday) for so many check out lines and there are no self check outs. It also seems like they hire new cashiers a lot and they always take forever to get you rung up. Other than that, I love this store and will keep coming back, I just have to read the name tags of the cashier to determine if they are new or not. read more

Apple Valley Super Target is amazing!!! I just want to shout out to 2 of the leads here! There was a very young girl (about 4-5) with her mom looking for the little girls thermos. I saw mom and daughter check at the Starbucks and no luck and then I saw them in the family restroom where I saw Hallie and Linda (the leads) looking for the thermos. Hallie was actually looking through the trash. She found the thermos!!! The leads offered to get the little girl a new thermos but she just wanted her old one!!! What amazing examples these lady's set!!! read more

I had to write this review but unfortunately not for Target. I mean don't get me wrong I like this target. I always find what I need and more. I am writing this review for Starbucks inside target. This is the best Starbucks in Apple Valley. They are super nice and never have a bad attitude, especially because they're usually only 1or 2 baristas at a time. They make perfect drinks all the time and when you order for extra anything , they make sure you get extra, like caramel, they don't hold back. Besides you pay for it right? So might as well get it. Not like the Starbucks on the corner by the bowling place where the other little shops are at by juice it up, they suck bad! The girls always have attitudes and never give extra on drinks when you ask for it. That's why i rather get off my car and go in Targets Starbucks then go through the drive thru. I love this target. It's always clean, the restrooms are clean, the aisles are tidy, they have sales, they have free samples on weekends, returns and customer service are a breeze. The blonde in the photo area who took my passport picture was super nice and let me retake it a few times. Checkers are new this time of year for seasonal and still super friendly. read more

I have shopped at this Target since it opened and spend approximately $800. per month. The past few months, I have been very disappointed especially with the fact that they have decided to stock during the morning when I am trying to shop. It is literally not a good experience anymore because I can't get up the aisles because the employees are stocking the shelves. The employees are very polite and I have always enjoyed being in the store every week, but not anymore. It is too confusing and so many items are not stocked. There are empty spaces. It would seem like with so many stockers it would be more organized. There are way too many employees and I see many just standing around not doing anything. I don't know who made the decision to stock during open hours but it is a bad idea. Hope something changes soon. I have already begun to do the bulk of my shopping at Stater Brothers. read more

Although Target is my absolute favorite store, my experience at this particular location was painfully frustrating today. After my baby shower yesterday I went to return all the duplicates. Alex was working the customer service desk and was extremely rude and unhelpful. He informed me I could not return more than 3 items for store credit. I have never had an issue with returns or exchanges at the Jess ranch location and this was my first experience with super target and will certainly be my last. When I asked to speak to a manager he said "I am one and there is no way around it." So I made the drive to the Jess ranch location where they were friendly and eager to help with my return and I received a gift card for all items. read more

Today I visited the Super Target Store in Apple Valley, Ca. on Hwy 18 and quickly found there is nothing Super about it. I wanted to purchase a Sony headphone that was selling for $19.99. The salesperson had to unlock the rack to take the headphones off, and then he wanted me to go with him to the front of the store to pay for them. I told him I had other items to purchase and I wanted to pay for everything at the same time. He said he would keep the headphones at the counter and when I was ready he would ring everything up at his register. When I went back approximately 15 minutes later there was another salesperson at the register and he said the other guy did not leave anything. I ask him to get another headphone off the rack, and he refused - instead he had me waiting for quite some time while he walk down ever isle in the area looking for the other guy. He couldn't find him and finally got on his phone and then told me the other guy would be there in 30 seconds. That did not happen. I went to the front of the store and asked for the manager, hoping he or she could get the headphones for me. I was told she was tied up and it would be about a 10 minute wait. I left the items in the cart in the store and left. When I got to the car a couple of minutes later I called the store and asked for the manager. She almost immediately came on the phone - so much for the 10 minute wait. After I told her why I was calling all she said was "thank you for the feedback." there was no offer to have me come back into the store so she could get the headphones for me, nor was there any other solution offered to me. I realize this store evidently has untrained employees in customer Goodwill, and evidently has an ineffective manager, however, it has left a bad taste in my mouth, and has created a great deal of bad will. As a result I will certainly think twice about shopping at any Target Store in the future. read more

I went there last Sunday for a simple paper wipe cloth The clerk in there by the name of Kristin was very rude and made me wait 20 minutes before she got the paper wipe. She was writing and writing on a piece of paper while I waited and waited. No one else was there but her. Apparently she doesn't believe in customer service. She didn't even apologize while she kept me waiting. I have spent thousands of dollars in there because there are four people in my family who wear contacts, glasses, and sunglasses. This girl has no respect for Target Optical's customers and should be fired. read more

I'm not usually one to complain about customer service, because I'm a retail worker, myself. Today, however, I have never experienced such awful service from any store I've been in. I shop at Target regularly, and went in for some glasses today. I was a walk-in, but was able to schedule an appointment. Everything was fine. The team members were helpful, the store was clean, and I even found the perfect pair of glasses for me. My experience was perfect except for the doctor being the most unprofessional douche bag I've ever seen. I was sitting in his office clearly waiting for an exam, when his entire family walks into the office,while he ignores me. There was one person after me, and he calls that persons appointment before he calls mine. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was sitting there. I will not be going back to this doctor, or this Target Optical. Worst Target experience ever. read more

This store is excellent! The prices are great and the staff Is very friendly. Having a nice grocery store in the high desert is always nice. The bakery has some great baked goods. The pharmacy is usually slow, especially around 5:00pm. Like Starbucks? There is a Starbucks inside the store. i loooveeed target.. until my recent experience... the store manager MATT is a total A$$... one day i was shopping it was kinda busy friday or whatnot when i had brought an item up to the register and it had rang up a dif price than the shelf sticker.. i asked the lady and she was like hold on.. called him over and asked him.. he replied... i dont care if the shelf price said that im not giving it to you.. even though store policy is where the item is stocked they have to give it to u for that price... anyway ... he proceeded to get louder as i asked to go look at the price.. he started yelling and said that if i didnt have the money i should go across the street to walmart... i was enraged!! i dont appreciate being belittled in front of other customers i dont take that bs from no one... soo thanks matt i will not be returning!! read more
