My favorite target in this area, good clean environment, employees are helpful enough...but in the front and around the outside of the store property it is slipping into something seedy. If nothing is done about the homeless and drug users that are flooding the Target area with thier pan handling and shop lifting eventually no one will want to shop there. I would implore target officials to nip this in the bud before business suffers. The last few times ive been there, this last week ive seen a whole array of shifty and potentially dangerous situations...i saw shop lifters with back packs in the store and congregsting outside together, ive seen people laying out on the cement in front of the store, ive seen pan handling with people handing over newly bought items (encouraging the problem), ive seen customers shouted at in the parking lot and harassed by obnoxious street people acting as if they have disabilities, and later they appear sain...i even saw a homeless woman with a dog being picked up by two young women they asked the homeless woman if she wanted to go to a party...the woman very hesitant, took a very long time to get in the car with the women/girls but she did and she looked frightened....come on target do something! read more

I was at Target in Antioch with my family finishing up buying Christmas gifts when the cashier rang me up. Her name is Maria. She just changed the paper to print out receipts and my receipt got stuck in the printer. The cashier didn't know how to reprint my receipt, so she went to customer service and asked the Acting manager, Julie how to do it. Julie came to the register and after some time, she couldn't do it either. Julie went to get some help and disappeared into customer service. In the mean time my family and I were waiting in line for At least 20 minutes. Julie told us to get out of the line and told us to go to "customer service" and they will be able to help us. We then finally found out that the system wouldn't print out the receipt for 24 hours. This is a complete waste of time cause we will have to come back tomorrow & hope we get our receipt, so that if we need to exchange something and we don't have proof of receipt then we are S.O.L. Julie didn't even compensate us for their screw up! She even said, that there might be a chance that we won't be able to get our receipt tomorrow. I would give them Zero Stars if I could. read more

I had one of the best retail experiences in Target today. They have definitely upped their game with customer service on the floor with many more employees eager to help their customers. Every department I entered I was greeted and asked if I needed help. They looked up info on their phones and showed me how to download their new app and use it. I found prices and also what I was looking for at a different location. Look out Walmart...Target's store brands are competing with you and their quality and customer service is way above. Why is there only 1 person working as a "mobile" representative, so frustrating. I walked in Friday night and asked if they had any iPhone X in stock, the gentleman told me he didn't know and the only person who does know is on break, so I waited 15 min. for the rep. to return from her break. She then starts helping a couple so I wait behind them, they are purchasing a phone, so of course after explaining everything, activation, and paying this can take anywhere from 30min to an hour. Another gentleman approaches me and asks if I need any help, once again I said that I would just like to know if they had them in stock so I could purchase one, but if you don't I really didn't want to wait any longer. He looks at the mobile rep and says to me "yeah unfortunately you'll have to wait for her" geez, can you just please ask her. I waited an hour and left, I decided I'd come back a different day. So I returned the next day (Saturday) I asked "Do you guys have any iPhone X in stock, a male associate says our target mobile rep is on break right now so I don't know, you'd have to wait for her, she will be back in about 15min." LOL just my luck. I walked out and went to Best Buy, was in and out in 30 min with my new iPhone X. read more

Came here to find floaties for my son because we are staying in a hotel. I walked around and couldn't find what I was looking for since I'm not familiar with the layout. I tried to find a worker to ask for help. Every time I started to approach a worker they would give me the stink eye. I only found one worker who was willing to help me. I used to frequent this location weekly. However, due to continuous poor customer service & unethical behavior I will now drive 15-30 mins to another area Target (Pittsburg, WC, etc). Long story short, the last straw was a couple months back when my husband injured himself as a result of liquid on the floor by the checkout registers. An incident report was filled out and the employees seemed genuine (Cierra is the one that sticks out in my mind) at the time. A month later we received a call from the Corporate Investigator who stated that the claim would be closed based on Target's liability clause (understandable) AND a written statement from an employee stating that my husband had a water bottle in his hand (untrue) and "intentionally" poured water on the floor. When the Investigator was asked to review the video, he stated he did not see a water bottle. However, since it was in writing they would stand by their (unethical) employee. Whether the manager told the employee to make that statement or not...regardless, shame on you Target employee for putting a false accusation in writing. I refuse and will NOT patronize a store/location whose employees have absolutely NO integrity! Never again, Antioch Target. read more

Todays visit was at the pharmacy. Every time I go when Ronika is working, it's a problem. She is not helpful when it comes to help find a solution if they don't have your medicine. She was taking a long time helping the customer before me, and I over heard she was also experiencing a problem with Ronikas service. When I asked her how much my prescription was she replied with her famous quote ," I can't check right now," she says that every damm time I ask her if she can update, fill my prescription, or call another store that might have my prescription available. When she gave me that response I asked her, "you can't do it right now? Or you don't want to do it?" She replied with a "I'm busy, I can't do it." Last I checked her job is customer service. I don't know what the hell they were thinking in hiring her. She is working in the wrong department if she doesn't want to be helpful to customers. She should be stashed in the back stocking up the back room or something not dealing with customers . She is very rude. I hope next time I go Alana is there cause I can't stand another time to be "helped" by Ronika. read more

Can someone please tell me what is going on with Target in Antioch in Slatten Ranch. This is the dirtiest store and I can't believe the filthy mess the store is continually in? I usually do not shop at Target because I find it priced higher then other places, but I had a gift card, so of course I'm going to use it. The last two times (with the last week) I have been there the store was in shambles. The floors were so dirty and looked like they had not been mopped in weeks, the bathrooms were a god awful mess and lets not talk about the food court. Holy crap. There was not one clean table, there was food all over the floors that it was utterly disgusting. I'm sorry there are so many slobs in this world that they can't dispose of their food containers in the garbage cans, but the workers have a job, which that is part of, not to just sell food. At the time I was there was around 6ish and it was not busy, not one was in the food court, and I did see two people working behind the counter. There should be no reason or any excuses this store should be in this type of condition. Where is management? How embarrassing. I hope someone from Regional see this comment. read more

The workers here are nice. The restaurant is decent, and the bathrooms are decent. The aisles are clean and pretty organized. Their music, the music, and the restuarant are close to the entrances and exits. The Target is huge, and there are many things you can get at a good price. read more

Not a happy customer today. I shop there quite a bit and have never had an issue until today. I ordered photos online for in store pick up. I came in to pick them up and no one was at the photo area because they were closed. Understandable. So i asked a staff member at customer service to call someone over. She did, and the girl said sure ill be right over. She never came, I waited for a while. I went back to the customer service line to ask the lady to ask for help again, but by then there was a line. Feeling Frustrated I walked over the the cashier leader and asked him. He radio'd for someone to come over. So i went back to the photo area. I waited, and waited. Again no one showed up to help me. I even went to the electronics desk but no one was there to help. I had just gotten off work and didnt want to wait too long. Target has been one of my favorites for some years now. But yesterday 1/4/15 this particular store made my stomach turn. I was in the cleaning section by the sponges and I look up and see a little friend crawling. I had to do a double take and saw that it was a roach crawling on top of one of the hanging boxes above the sponges. At that point I lost all train of thought and wanted to walk out of the store. I told one of the employees and he was in disbelief as I was. At that point I went to the register paid and left. A couple things went through my mind first are there roach eggs on the items that I bought, if there is a big roach crawling in daylight like it is nothing how bad of a roach problem does this store have, and lastly the store sells FOOD which now is a health hazard. As much as I love this store I can't see my self shopping at this store again. Target must do better. Must!!!! Word of mouth is crazy just yesterday me talking about it to friends and family who live in this area they said they will be going to another store. My wallet got stolen from the In-Shape tonight, in it was a target gift card for quite a large amount of money. When I went into the store to get a new gift card they told me they couldn't help me and wouldn't look my receipt up on the computer. Now I have to go home and hope I can find a receipt to receive help in getting a new gift card or making sure those thieves can't use the old one. Very unhelpful in my time of need target. read more

I was in your Slaten Ranch Target store in Antioch, Ca today browsing in the camera section because I am looking to buy a new DSLR Camera. I asked the salesman at the counter if target price matches for a certain camera and he said yes and that all I had to do was go to the guest services with the ad and they would price match for me. I then asked if he had certain cameras in stock that I wanted to look at, there was a Nikon D3300 camera on the shelf locked up in a case with a price tag under it of $119.99 I asked the salesman if I could see that camera and how much did it cost he said to me that the camera cost $119.99. After looking at the camera and all of its features I decided that I wanted to buy that particular camera for the $119.99 price. The salesman began to ring up the camera and it rang up as $499 he said to me that this must be a mistake the price tag says $119.99 so let me see if I can adjust the price for you, he then calls for help from a woman named Catherine and she comes over and tells me that she can't adjust the price because the tag is wrong and she can't give me $300.00 off on this camera she said I can give you 10% off for your inconvenience she then started to bark out orders to the employees in the camera department to move the cameras around in the case (so inappropriate to coach your team on the sales floor in front of customers) ....I work for one of the best retailers where we pride ourselves on the service we give our customers. I also know all about weights and measures for consumers and after this experience I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau in regards to the way pricing is displayed in this store. The way she approached me and spoked to me was a little unprofessional and just down right rude. I would hope that this is not a common practice among the managers and employees in your store. I know that mistakes like this happen all of the time and in my experience with my employer would we honor the the price that the camera was under and accommodate the customer not offer a lame 10% discount. If she had any customer service skills she would have offered to adjust the price of the camera for me to the $119.99 price. It's was not my fault that the camera was mismatched and that your salesperson didn't know what he was talking about when he flat out told me that the camera was $119.99. What happened to me today was simply unfair and I find that your management team needs some more training when it comes to these types of issues. I will purchase a DSLR camera but I will not purchase it from target. read more

Her conversation about if and why she would cover someone else's shift on Saturday was more important to her! She was not paying attention at all!! I recently was in this store and was looking for a cookie press like my mom used to have. I guess I was obviously wandering around, because a nice team member by the name of Thor spotted me. Right away he was on the case to find me a cookie press. He even referred me to another business just in case Target didn't have it, but was determined to find it. On the walkie talkie, walking around with another team member, Thor was on it and within 5 minutes had found what I needed in the holiday section. I wrote Target.com to compliment him (it is really hard to find where to compliment someone on that page) and was assured that he would be recognized in his next meeting. I love shopping at target. I go at least twice a week. This store is very clean and usually very well stocked. My problem with this particular store is the employes. I've been here so many times in the last 5-6 years and have NEVER been greeted by a sales associate on the floor. Are these people trained to NOT say hello or engage with customers?? They are obviously tasking but how hard is it to stop for one second to say hello to the person walking by? I will still shop here because it's better than walmart or kmart. but Best buy, Lowes, home depot, hobby lobby etc. all have very friendly associates that constantly ask if they can help? why not follow this trend? read more

Warning! The employees are thief's. The money is being stolen from debit and credit cards. Money is even being stolen from gift cards which used to be safe. They are activating them on mobile apps and you are left high and dry. Management and Employees accept no personal responsibility and no reparations are made. Many people in the Antioch/Brentwood area have fell victim and still no one is trying to fix the problem. The gift cards are activated a day or so after you buy them and the card itself is now useless. Be on the lookout, it can happen to you! read more

The pharmacist always answers any questions I have and even seemed genuinely concerned with one of the medicines my doctor prescribed. They also always have my medicine ready on time. read more

First off, let me say I love Target and this review really has nothing to do the store itself but the kind of people they have working there. Earlier tonight, me and two of my friends made a quick run to pick something up. As we were entering the parking lot, a Target employee walked in front of our car taking his sweet-ass time, and shook his head as he was doing this. Me and my friends were kind of complex to why he did this. Upon entering the store, we came across him again and had a minor stare down. Once again he shook his head, this time in an arrogant fashion. Then as we were leaving, he came towards us( he could have gone two other directions) so one of my friends asked him if there was a problem. Dude gets an attitude with us. He calls me a fool and stayed I was starring him down in the parking lot. When I called him out on this, and told him that was not true, he changed his story and got defensive with all 3 of us. I told my friends to let it go and lets just leave. Dude walks away then turns around and waves to us a mocking matter. We were wondering what the hell is this guys problem when he comes back and gets right in my friends face! At this point, I was like screw it, I felt this guy wanted us to hit him so he could sue us, I just wanted to leave. We left, but I now wish that we demanded to speak to the manager about this, and the fact that they have security cameras all over the place would have shown what a punk this guy is. I regret it now. But my advice to Target is this; Tell your employees they should not get in customers faces and just to walk away. read more

I bought the Beatz wireless headphones for my fiancé a few weeks ago and they started making weird noises. I had thrown away the receipt because hey I didn't expect to return them after spending so much money on headphones. Then the unthinkable happened and I had to exchange them. So I went into target two times. First, so I can receive a receipt so I can go trough apple care to get a replacement. Aaron the customer service rep helped me out and suggested bringing the beatz in for an even exchange. A few days later I came back with the beatz and the card I bought it with. The Hispanic rep who looked like she was in charge didn't help at all, the serial number didn't match the card and so she gave up on the first try. I was upset because I had spent so much money! On headphones! And they're for my fiancé ! So Aaron stepped up and figured it out. He found the serial number on the headphones themselves. He was so optimistic and helpful thank god he came in or else I would walked away with these malfunctioned headphones. Thank you Aaron for your great help ! Target service on pre orders is the worst. Here is my story...I used Target online and my Target red card to pre order a xbox one release day edition for my daughter and my two poor unfortunate foster children. Target charged my card in June and said everything was ok. At this point I thought I would have a great surprise at Thanksgiving for the kids since we all play Microsoft games for family time. I find it a great way to bring the family together. I logged onto the target website a week before the items release date and to my horror I found out my order was canceled. After researching and many long phone calls with target web services and target red card services I discovered target re-verifies your card every few months and in October, for some technical glitch, my card verification had issues so it went to immediate cancel. Target said they sent an email but I never received it. Regardless if I did, Target representatives said the email would not have mattered because before an email went out my order would have been canceled. This is horrendous customer service. If you pre-order an item and a company charges your card a reasonable person would expect to get the item or at very least if issue happens to receive a phone call from company looking to solve the issue. This is not the case with Target. They said there was nothing they could do. In fact I even mailed the CEO and their executive team gave me back a response of sorry. How is it for such a large company that before an item can even be sold they cannot give a fair solution to customer? I mean this is not as if it was discovered after launch day. This item cannot be sold till 11-22 and I called them on 11-15. To me, they just do not seem to care about their customers. On these types of items they are big enough to understand how such an important item that is different on launch day compared to the second wave is very important to a customer and why a customer would take the time to pre-order early. I will never use their service again. read more
