Target is not how it use to be in early 2000s, back then you had employees and management that cared. You can tell who was an employee by red and khaki. Now you have no clue who a worker is. And their shelving do you even teach to pull product up and cover diamond's throughout the day? Every time I'm in target I always look for that, aisles look like they're never kept up on or touched. And talk about restocking, when an item was low in the past you would restock it not anymore it's like there is no care in the world. I will not buy from A store that looks like a 6 years old closet. I don't do Wal-Mart (aka The Evil Empire) but I do Target on occasion for certain things as the stores are laid out well and normally are on the cleaner looking side. In the local area this Target location is not my favorite as they have a habit of not opening more registers even when the check out lines get very long. This has somewhat been alleviated recently with the addition of a self-checkout lane but that is only so good as in my experience the scanners have issues reading the bar codes on coupons the same as having occasional issues reading your phone if you're trying to use their cartwheel app. This Target also has a habit of regularly being out of stock on a lot of things compared to the store in Quakertown or the store in Easton which is why I normally drive to the Easton store versus coming here. Shopkins, sneakers and a particular bath mat all out of stock here yesterday yet all available at the store in Easton. I'm not a Starbucks drone so that doesn't do anything for me the same as the Pizza Hut express area or the take over by CVS of their pharmacy. Also, everytime I come here there seems to be multiple people sitting in the Starbucks area looking out the windows at the parking lot like it's the most interesting thing in the world or they're lost like zombies on their phones. Maybe they don't have homes? Maybe they need someone to find their phone number in their jacket to call mommy for a pickup? I don't know but to me it looks pathetic. I digress. Again, for certain things like electronics, housewares and kids clothes Target isn't bad but even with the gimmicks of the 5% off with their CC and their cartwheel app discount I won't shop the right side of the store as their groceries are very overpriced compared to a real grocery store and when you combine that with things being regularly sold out/not available it's why I drive twice as far to go to another location versus coming here. read more

Ruined Christmas Present - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My husband purchased a Jetson hoverboard from Target for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas. It was one of the few presents she was really looking forward to. We opened the hoverboard to charge it, only to find a USED and DAMAGED product! Fortunately, my husband kept the receipt so we didn't think it would be an issue. The WORST and possibly SADDEST part of this whole ordeal was that my husband went to return the hoverboard to Target (Airport Road location) today and they told him there was NOTHING they can do because the serial number does not match the hoverboard and the receipt. They threatened to call the cops (my husband said go ahead, we did nothing wrong but purchase a product from Target). They accused us of swapping the hoverboard "with a cousin's"!! My mind is blown by this accusatory customer service behavior. I will never shop at Target again. WARNING: Quality control apparently does not exist at this location. They do not check the products they put back on the floor! We are extremely traumatized by this experience - the fact that you can purchase an item only to open it and realize it's used/damaged! Then when you explain what happened to customer service, requesting an exchange (you have the receipt too!) you get accused of swapping/stealing the product! AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO! My husband begged them to check the cameras, started looking for employees who was there when he purchased the hoverboard (along with hundreds of dollars in gift cards). I usually love Target, any Target but this one is patrolled by rent a cops that will cause me to never return. On two separate instances my husband, who by the way is in law enforcement stopped along the fire lane. The one day an older man who is also a fireman pulled behind him and hit his siren. The siren should not be used unless its a fire emergency. My husband was in process of letting me out of the car to carry my 6 month old it her cumbersome carrier so that I did not have to walk far. His intentions were to then park and bring my two toddlers in on his own. The reason he had to stop in that lane was because the entrance is so close to the actual entrance to the complex and it's very busy with traffic. Anyway the rent a cop exchanged words with my husband and my husband had to restrain from wanting to make this a bigger deal. The rent a cop also threatened to write my husband a ticket which my husband encouraged but needless to say he backed down. On the second occasion we attempted to do the same drop off while two cars were parked in the fire lane. One being another rent a cop in a red explorer. So being curious my husband walked out of his car and past the rent a cop who was playing a game on his cell phone. As my husband returned to the car the rent a cop then gets out of his car and tells the other car and my husband to move their vehicles. My husband asked and why can you sit there? He said I'm working, oh so I guess it's ok for a rent a cop to sit in a fire lane and play games until someone notices. So my advice to Target or whoever runs your property management would be to get an actual security company there so they can patrol for safety and theft because the only thing these two guys do is patrol fire lanes and annoy people. I will not return to this Target. read more

The staff was really friendly at this Target but I thought the roadway made it a little bit of a pain to get in and out of. Target ...how I heart thee ..being a Canadian i adore coming down and shopping in these delightful stores. But I must say this one store is meh.. The women section is ok, and so it the kids and mens.. The area that is lacking seriously is the living area. Where they have the furniture, and bedding..its so small to some of the other stores i have been too. Its still a nice store, the layout and over all well maintained. This target is very clean and convenient location, only problem is traffic (outside of Target's control). Clearance sections can be a bit of a mess, some organizational items are scattered it seems in different sections. You can tell a quality of a store if the customers draw on signs with makeup, which is very very common at Walmart. I have never seen it at this Target. Staff is always friendly and I always find what I am looking for when I visit. Except bathing suits, nothing will support me chest wise (no under-wire or large enough bust size, even tho bras will fit). read more

Man, I love this store. Before, if I needed something (I'm a student at Lehigh University), I'd have to either go to MacArthur Road to a store there, or all the way to the Target on Cedar Crest Blvd. Now, with the Target on Airport Rd., it's a quick trip, and they usually have just about anything I need. The store is clean, well-stocked, and the prices are great. I especially like the food section; while they might not have everything I need for a full grocery store run (small selection of meats, for example), there are great prices on the items they do have, like cereal, frozen foods, snacks, and drinks. I also buy pretty much anything we need for our house here. read more

Went to target airport rd earlier today. It was very busy but the line moved pretty quickly. Once I got to the front of the line there was a cashier (Sophie) who directed the customers on which line to check out to help the process. Dan (the store manager) and Mike (the tech manager) are quite possibly the least professional people we have ever seen work at a department store. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Stopped by here to buy an iPhone using one of their Black Friday deals. After waiting 2 hours in line, they would not sell my mother (who is on my same family plan) an iphone because the account is under my name. I am travelling and was not physically present when she went. I was on the phone, though. My mom also had all of the account information, address, password, phone, etc. and they wouldn't accept that. If they uniformly applied this policy, then we might be willing to understand. However, they were selling others who were not "primary account holders" iphones, and they chose to single us out. When we asked to speak with their manager or for their last names or ID numbers, they knew they had done something wrong and they refused to give them to us. If Dan and Mike are managers, this store needs to shut down. Terrible. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

Went shopping at target on airport road. What a disaster. Shelve were out of stock I was there around 2ish. Back in toys they had the main isle cluttered with displays then were there were no displays there were pallets full pallets. Nothing I haven't seen before but this time a handicap man in a wheel chair could not gets through dropped all his stuff , sure an employee helped pick his stuff up, but he should of never been put in that position. to top it off at the check out lane the same man was in front of me and he could not reach the machine to use his pin. And the cashier had no clue what to do. She called for a front end manager to help and low and behold no manger in the front. Not only do people have to deal with disabilities their whole life a big company doesn't train their employees how to make it safe and useable. Rant over. read more

Clean and mostly full stocked. Very friendly employees and I love that they have a Starbucks there (although it was closed at 9pm on a Saturday night). One thing that really irked me though was they have a lot of regular products in Spanish. For example, I wanted to buy some Pond's face cream but I couldn't find one in English, they were all in Spanish so I had no idea which one was what (normal skin, dry skin, wrinkle cream, just moisturizer..etc.). I have never seen this before and it was really annoying. I understand when products are in 2 different languages but this had no English on it at all. There were a few other products there with the same problem, mostly in the beauty and cosmetics section. I don't understand why they are selling products that aren't in English or in both English and Spanish. read more

It's Target. Or Tar-zhet if you're fancy. Different layout than the Cedar Crest one but much more open, with a bit more stuff. But sometimes they have certain layout for the makeup that doesn't make any sense, such as a display endcap facing the wall, therefore lots of dust on what was supposed to be a new makeup line that's actually popular. But that's more of their business not mine, especially when I can find the promotional ones with freebies attached to it that have been sold out months before at other locations and other stores. As with most Targets- clean, organized, and pleasant. This one did stand out a bit with its cafe. Their Starbucks is great. Very nice baristas and a cool sitting area that curled into a private area allowing you to forget your in a busy department store. Plus there are bar seats facing the windows. Really enjoyable while we were on vacation staying near the airport. Also, the restrooms were spacious and clean. read more

Set a basket of 8 grocery items on the belt (instead of emptying out myself I know, the register was open and I just hurried over quickly and set my basket down) the older cashier lady DUMPED THE BASKET ONTO THE BELT...I have never seen that before in my life...there were 3 jars of sauce 2 boxes of pasta and a gallon of milk that could've been damaged...I have been a cashier myself and I would never do that to someone's groceries even if they rubbed me the wrong way. This is down right rude and disrespectful. If the lady couldn't lift the items out of the basket (as she is supposed to be qualified to do-specifically lift 20 lbs) she could've asked if I could take the items out if it was too difficult for her. I did not make a formal complaint to a manager because as I said I've worked customer service and you never know what is going on in other people's lives but wow it has to be mention that she was not doing her job correctly read more

This Target is extremely close to my house (only 5 minutes away) so it is super convenient for me. It is clean, always has lots of registers open, and easy parking. The last time I went there I needed a few groceries and they had everything I was looking for. I ended up looking through the cosmetics aisle and found a few items on sale I hadn't expected on picking up, but ended up buying anyways. My cashier was friendly and helpful with a question I had about a sale price. I prefer this Target to one that is further from me, even if I am out in that part of town for all of the reasons I listed above. I may not go to Target that often, but I always choose it above similar stores due to how friendly they are. read more

I ordered a gift off of a baby registry when I got off of work one night and received an email the next morning that it was ready to be picked up at the Allentown Target. My first thought was to go to this Target, as it was the only one that I knew was in Allentown and no address was provided. This Target store does, in fact, have an Allentown address and I went in and went to customer service to pick up the gift. I handed her my ID and she looked through the list she had and said that my name was not on there. I told her that the website had given me a vague address of an "Allentown Target" and she rudely handed my license back to me and told me in an unappreciated tone that I was not at a Target with an Allentown address (which, in fact, I was). I was unaware that there are two Target stores with Allentown addresses, and that was my mistake. However I do NOT appreciate the rudeness with which I was treated from the woman working in customer service and the condescending manner in which she told me I was at the wrong place. Never would I have thought that someone could be so rude to a customer over a simple mistake. This is a store that I go into a lot and I was very disappointed in the way I was treated when trying to pick up a gift for someone. This experience was given one star because no stars wasn't an option. read more
