This is the main target I go to when I come home from school and usually not disappointed. Only a couple of times. But that's normal for stores, not to have everything you need in stock. Clean, workers are usually friendly, everything is organized, they restock during the day, but it's not at the point where you can't walk through the isles like Walmart. Sometimes they open more check out lanes when they see long line staring to form. I love the fresh food section they have as well as the fridges that are motion censored. The employee's in this store are amazing, all I needed were trays for my plants, they only cost $1.99 each and they were not on the shelf but their was a tag. The employees scanned the tag it showed they had 12 in stock. Two different employees searched for 10 minutes for me until they found them. I love this location. This review is specific to the CVS pharmacy in this Target and the pharmacist who works there. When she stated ringing up my items, she noted that the insurance price of one of my prescriptions was really high. She canceled out the transaction and was able to put it through differently, which reduced the cost by half! Now, that is amazing customer service. I never even asked for a reduction. How incredibly kind of her. I don't usually fill out store surveys, but did so immediately after arriving home. CVS needs to know about an employee that goes above and beyond! read more

I don't usually feel the need to leave negative comments but this one is much needed. And I hate that my first yelp review has to be a bad one but I just couldn't let this go. My family and I have been to this target several times but we really only come here when we absolutely need to. Otherwise, we'll drive further out to the nicer super targets where it's cleaner and the workers are nicer. Most recently, I came here with my husband to find some last minute shirts for Halloween. We went to the women's section first and I automatically gave up all hope due to the completely unorganized section of shirts. There was stuff all over the place and they had the same shirt in four different sections so I had to search between every rack just to find the size that I wanted. After finding three different sizes spread around the sections, I still had no luck. We gave up and moved on to the men's section for my husband. When we got to the men's section, of course, the one area that we needed to get into was blocked by a whole bunch of boxes and a few ladies unpacking right where the shirts were. There were boxes and trash all over so I stood to the side while my husband tried to squeeze around the mess. Ultimately, he got annoyed with being crammed in a tight space and stepping around the boxes that he just walked away. We just didn't understand why they would have that huge mess out in the middle of the day and especially where it would be blocking people from shopping. At that point, we just decided to leave. As we were walking out, we passed by the baby section and the mommy in me couldn't resist buying something for my daughter. If there's one positive thing about target, it's that their baby clothes are priced well and I can buy numerous outfits without my wallet crying. Anyway, I was able to grab some cute long sleeves and sweaters that were folded on a table by the aisle but trying to maneuver through the racks was a different story. I could barely fit myself let alone a cart in there. Everything was so packed and claustrophobic. All of the racks were so close together that I kept knocking the clothes down as I tried to shop. It was a bit ridiculous and I never have this problem when I go to other targets. So again, we left the section annoyed and frustrated. I understand that stores get busy and you can't expect everything to be completely pristine but the fact that we walked through three different areas that were just total messes was completely unacceptable. It's just an okay store. Checkers are hit and miss and terms is good/poor service. They don't have a big selection, but it works for the location. There is not another one stop store close to this area that has nice products, so if gets an extra star for just being here. read more

I ended up here Christmas Eve around 8:00PM for what should have been a 45 min shopping experience- However, two things caused me to be there a solid 2 hours. From the first isle I started on, there was a strange little guy everywhere I needed to be- By the 4th or 5th time this creep invaded my personal space I almost said something to him. No joke, multiple other times I found myself skipping an isle because THERE HE WAS.... In addition to dealing with this weirdo, there were no Target employees to be found (I spent so much time searching for a particular item- it would have been lovely to have had help.) Ok fast forward to almost 10:00PM, and creeper and I end up the only two people in an isle- this time I notice he has NOTHING with him- 2 hours of shopping and he does not have a single thing picked out, no cart, basket, nada! At this point I say to him, "ohhh you are security." When he responded yes I was going to suggest he not creep out female shoppers and get in their way while doing his job. Instead he responded with a very snarky "no, sorry, I'm not security." So ATTN TARGET MANAGER: please review your Christmas Eve surveillance- you had a serious creeper in your store. read more

This review is strictly for the Pharmacy. My girlfriend gets prescriptions filled here regularly and the agents are are very friendly. They also do a great job with managing the lines. I was there once and there was an angry customer and the staff did a great job diffusing her and keeping their cool. My only complaint is that the pharmacy is in the middle of the medication aisles so when you queue up you are queuing into the aisles and it makes it a bit tough to navigate if you have a cart full of items. I absolutely love Target, it's my favorite, and I don't mind paying more for the great experience. Unfortunately, this Target does not meet the expectations I've grown accustomed to in my Target experience. Many times the items I regularly purchase at Target are unavailable, requiring me to visit a Walmart the other side of town. Additionally, the store isn't as appealing and clean as the Target stores I've grown up with. I've never been a huge fan of this store, but it's the closest Target to me so it does the job. I really don't like how the front doors open to the check out lanes, it's a weird layout. Anyway, this review is really mostly for the new CVS pharmacy that Target pharmacy is changing into. I've been using Target pharmacy for years, it was convenient, you got 5% coupons after so many refills, and I usually needed to go there anyway so why not. Yeah not anymore. I went in last week to pick up one of my main medicines and they are no longer able to even order it for me. It's a generic so they are suggesting I just use another generic of the same pill. Yeah ok but every generic has different inactive ingredients, the one I currently use works for me why should I have to change. I'll be changing pharmacies instead. Go here because of the pharmacist, Charles! My daughter and I both do. He is the most knowledgeable and informative person I have ever met in any pharmacy, ever. He has addressed health issues and prescription questions kindly, quickly and with an almost encyclopedia like understanding of health, medications, drug interactions and side effects. We get any and every RX there because of him and have for years. My daughter and I are both huge fans. Oh yeah; we shop there too. While not a huge store, they always seem to have what I want and some things I didn't even know I wanted until I saw them. It is close and clean and mostly have great staff! Pharmacist is so rude; calls to the manager are not returned; have had so much trouble getting prescriptions filled and they lose prescriptions that are for controlled prescriptions( found only when asked to see store video). I'd be fired if I treated 'customers' like this pharmacy does. Since debit cards now have a chip in them Target refuses to give cash back and blames this on my bank; bank says it's Target. How come I can get cash back using the security chip at Office Depot. Emails to Target's Corporate Headquarters aren't answered either. read more

I love Target in general, i recently moved and this is the closest one to my house. I have already been several times and have been fortunate enough to encounter the nicest customer service people. I've recently started going to this Target more often as I have had success with finding many of the same products that I'd normally get at the grocery store here instead. Prices are better and of course you always save an additional 5% when you use your Target card. The workers here are consistent with many having been here for multiple years. It's a great location here in Addison, close to the Beltline nightlife and easily accessible. This location makes the best popcorn too! They keep their shelves stocked, clean and filled with workers ready to help when needed. A friendly group of employees makes all the difference! read more

I've been going to this store for many years but unfortunately it is not as good as it used to be. One major complaint I have is that no matter what time I go in, be it 8:30 am or 2pm, it seems they are always in the middle of doing major restocking of entire sections. Carts are blocking the areas and large shelf sections are empty. It would improve it this could be done early in the morning or late in the evening. read more
