It's hard to find people who are willing to devote that level of commitment to each client. Many people have a cookie cutter approach. They even have a menu for you to choose. You have to fit into what they already offer but Heidi listens to you. Heidi is always listening and watching even when your pup is playing or you're just talking about your day. She's good at evaluating how to interact with your dog and coming up with ingenious & creative techniques that you can easily repeat on your own. She joyfully shares her knowledge with you and helps you feel accomplished. I admire that because many trainers are stingy. I've even met a few rude ones. Heidi is a joy to be around. She's down to earth. She treats my pup with love and dignity. She models best practices and teaches fun things to keep my dog happy. I'm so grateful to have her as a part of my dogs life. She is a critical part of our team. If you're looking for a clean facility, a creative trainer, a safe environment, a quiet community, and a great teacher, you have got to get in your vehicle and get your pup(s) to the Canine Enrichment Center. It's very reassuring to know that they enjoy being there! They participate weekly in day camp and swimming with trainer Laura (their absolute favorite activity with one of their favorite humans). Our 5 year old does therapy swim sessions for a CCL injury (it's made a world of difference) and our 1 year old swims for fun and much needed exercise. We've also utilized their night camp and training and feel they are always loved and well cared for. They are groomed by Hailey and they always look and smell so nice! Highly recommend!

They are very helpful and willing to work with you to get what you want from their suppliers. They also cover more types of pets than some of the smaller specialty stores. The prices are competitive and they offer lots of sales, bargains, and coupons. They still do delivery and will bring your package to the car if you order mobile! The workers are friendly and helpful if you need assistance. The best part is you can bring your well behaved shopping assistant inside on a leash! Everyone is always happy to see your well-behaved helper. Nobody, however, appreciates a pest and please clean up the mess on the aisle if you're "baby" makes it! Okay? You'll find great value! You'll find great service. You'll find great products. There's lots of parking! What more could you ask for?

When I brought him in, the person at the front desk was short and rude. After 2.5 hours, they called that he was done. When I arrived, they charged me $35 for a $25 service, then after I paid, was told they couldn't trim his nails because he kept peeing. Stated he "peed on me, don't know if he had to go the bathroom or what, but we didn't trim his nails". I asked, but you still charged me the full amount? She stated it was the package. I will never be back. I purchased all my animal feed, cat litter and treats at this location; I will never go inside this establishment again.

This review, though, is specifically about their kid's birthday party package at the Ozaukee Campus. We recently celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday here and it was a wonderful time. My favorite aspects, as the parent of the bday child, were: 1) ease of booking the party. All done online. My introvert heart was extremely happy about that. 2) the parties are kept small, with a max number of kids allowed capped at 10 (which is fantastic for parents like me who don't enjoy big parties with a million kids running around). 3) they provide the cake and drinks, and for an additional fee, can also include pizza (we opted for pizza because duh!!). 4) they provide cute animal themed physical invitations with envelopes for you to fill out and hand to your guests. I think they also have an option for email invitations, too. 5) it's very affordable compared to other area party venues. Everything mentioned above is included in the price. Major bang for your buck, for sure! 6) it's not just a party, but an educational experience first and foremost. There were 2 WHS staff members there to greet us as our guests were being dropped off and lead us into a nice big room set up with party-ready tables and chairs. The room was decorated minimally but still very cute. I didn't ask about bringing our own bday balloons or decorations because it wasnt something I was concerned with. After all the guests arrived and were seated, the staff members (who were both incredible) spoke to the kids about the WHS's mission and the importance of the work they do, then we got to tour the adoption floor, visiting the cats and kittens, and the dogs. After the tour, we were led back to the party room where we sang for the birthday girl and ate pizza and cake. Afterwards, we got to meet and spend some time loving up an adorable adoptable puppy, and also got to meet & feed the campus animal ambassador, a guinea pig named Mateo. The kids made a craft to take home, as well, with all materials provided by WHS. All in all, it was 90 minutes of fun and education, delicious pizza and cake, and furry interactions that the kids all loved. We had a great time & highly recommend! Thank you to WHS Ozaukee campus for hosting a wonderfully unique birthday this year for us!!

Staff and volunteers were kind, attentive and compassionate. Five months ago my dog of 15 years passed, considering a new dog adoption was a big step. And, was truthfully a bit overwhelming and emotional. The staff and volunteers were such a big part of what made my experience so positive and meaningful. I was never rushed in my decision making and staff and volunteers created a space where I felt comfortable being myself. There are some negative comments in other reviews. Please do remember that the Wisconsin Humane Society is a non-profit organization and by nature non-profit organizations don't have the level of resources that they genuinely need. Monetary donations and donation of volunteer time are always a well needed way to contribute.

Prior to choosing this Groomer, I called and asked around to see what people in the area had to say. I was told by several strangers and one reliable friend to check out Bonsai! I emailed and asked if I could visit and was told yes. When I visited, the shop was very busy. I could tell the groomers were attentive and caring with their charges. I liked that. The shop was clean and organized. There are a few products but the focus is clearly the grooming activities! I really liked that part! I set appointments for the entire year and I'm so glad because my dog is going to be the best groomed pup in Grafton! I'm a very particular customer. I like vendors who will communicate honestly with me no matter what. When my last Groomer refused to return my calls after my dog was injured during a session, I decided to move on. It wasn't the injury, it was her refusal to call me and talk to me about it. I've set my expectations with the crew at Bonsai. All I want is clear communication so I can always take the best care of my Service dog. They agreed that communication is always an important part of good service. That made me happy right away! I consider Groomers critical members of my service dog's care team alongside the Vet, behavioral trainers, and his skills trainers. A service dog can't ever appear dirty or disheveled because they go everywhere their handle goes. Good grooming is an essential part of the service dog's training and health. I am elated to be working with this team of affordable professionals who are friendly and understand my need for honest clear communication to insure the health of a dog with whom my very life is so integrally linked.
