Carlos & Tonya wedding8.8.2026…read more Let me start by being honest... I was WORRIED about the food! Our contract said the catering team would arrive around 4:30 PM, but dinner wasn't until 7:30 PM. In my head I kept thinking, "Oh Lord... this food is going to be cold!" Well, let me tell you -- I worried for absolutely NOTHING! When dinner was served, the food was fresh, HOT and delicious! And it wasn't just me saying it. Our guests repeatedly told us how amazing the food was. What made it even more special was that the menu gave exactly what I wanted for our wedding -- a multicultural experience that represented the joining of our families. My Nicaraguan mother-in-law especially loved the rice and beans, which gave her that familiar Nicaraguan-style gallo pinto flavor. That meant so much to me because I wanted both sides of our family to feel represented throughout our wedding. And those leftovers?! They did NOT go to waste! Our family was still eating and enjoying everything through Monday when we finally left the Airbnb. Thank you Chef Sullivan, April, and the Give 'Em A Taste Catering team for giving us an amazing wedding dinner. The food was hot, flavorful, plentiful and made our celebration even more special. You all DELIVERED!

Everything was good. There was also a nice variety of food as well. I could definitely tell this company has experience preparing food in bulk and maintaining the quality and flavor. There was one dish that stood out in particular which was the salmon. It was moist and the flavor was delicious. When I have had salmon in the past buffet style at many corporate events it has been dry and flavorless, but not here. The staff were also very friendly and professional. I will definitely be recommending Dixon's Delights and use their services when I have an event.

We had crab cakes with a roasted pepper aioli and coconut shrimp with an orange sauce for passed appetizers. I'm still craving them this morning. Our meal included Caesar Salad, filet and lobster tail. My fillet (2 1/2 inches thick) was cooked to medium rare perfection and my lobster tail was probably the most perfectly cooked lobster I have ever had. Lastly, Alison helped me with all the details. To say she has "attention to detail" is an understatement! Guys, if you want to plan a catered event for family and friends and give your significant other a breather, trust me when I say Alison will make sure your event is a success. I will continue to use Simply Catered for future events.

I was so busy during the wedding that I actually didn't get a chance to try the food myself, but afterward I received so many compliments from our guests about how good the tapas were. Everything went smoothly, the food was a hit with our guests, and I would definitely recommend Havana Catering for an event.

I had heard of them before because a friend used them for their wedding, and since I plan events for a living, I've worked with a lot of caterers. For my own event though, price mattered a lot, but I still wanted really good food. After reaching out to a bunch of places, I went with Havana because I had tried their food before and their pricing was very reasonable. We ordered full trays of adobo chicken, lechon roasted pork, crispy tofu, paella, sofrito rice, black beans, corn, poblano mac and cheese, and plantains. I did bring in one dish from another restaurant, Jamaican oxtail, just because I know my guests are big foodies. The biggest hits from Havana were definitely the poblano mac and cheese, lechon, and the paella. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the standout. Everyone kept going back for it and I wish I had ordered an extra tray. What really stood out to me though was the delivery experience. The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. I've had plenty of catering deliveries before and this was easily one of the best. He was just genuinely kind and went above and beyond, and it made a big difference. Overall, everything went smoothly, the food was great, and I would definitely order from them again.
